Stereo matching algorithm is an essential part in computer vision and photography. Accuracy and computational complexity are challenges of stereo matching algorithm. Much research has been devoted to stereo matching based on cost volume filtering of matching costs. Local stereo matching based guided image filtering (GIF) has a computational complexity of O(N), but is still not enough to provide real-time 3-dimensional (3-D) video services. The proposed algorithm concentrates reduction of computational complexity using the concept of fast guided image filter, which increase the speed up to $O(N/\small{s}^2)$ with a sub-sampling ratio $\small{s}$. Experimental results indicated that the proposed algorithm achieves effective local stereo matching as well as a fast execution time for 3-D video service.

The four walls of mural paintings in Afrasiab, Samarkand, have discovered: the indian-concept east wall, the west with the paintings of envoys from a number of countries bringing in King's letters or gifts, the south describing traditional ceremony celebrating the new year, the north with a picture of a Chinese princess on board beside hunting scenes. Overall, Sogdians in Afrasiab mural paintings of 7th century had following costume codes: a very short haircut or the Turkic queue, a rather-narrow-sleeved caftan with round-neck, a belt and boots. The west wall showed various costume style of a set of envoys from countries. First, a Turkic envoy had 3-6 rows of long plaits, wearing a caftan with two lapels and a belt - interestingly, Sogdian and Turkic nobles didn't wear pochettes. Second, a Chaganiyan had a hairband on his short hair, and his colorful round-neck caftan is decorated with animal-patterned medallions and a golden belt. Third, a Chach wore a jewelled hairband, putting gaiters on his pants. Forth, a Chinese was in putou with a round-neck caftan, and with a belt and sword around his waist. Lastly, also appeared a Koguryo envoy in white putou with a double-bird-feathered crown on top, wearing a long-sleeved yellow v-neck top, a belt, narrow-cuffed pants and boots. Identical to the Sogdian statues excavated in various regions of China are the appearance of big eyes and nose -similar to the warrior stone in Korea- a hairband, and a pochette down from the waist line. During this period, white and red were considered as prevailing colors for clothing: red and yellow among Turks. The costumes of characters in Afrasiab mural paintings were preferably made with the animal-patterned, sophiscated samite Zandanachi of Sogdiana.

This research has a significant meaning to observe and understand the historical condition of a furniture industry and the characteristics of Korean home furniture's formation, ability, skill and materials from 1980s when there were an economic growth and a historical development of Korean home furniture occurred to present days. During 1980s, there was an automatic system available and has enforced and settled the standards on its quality and price in a furniture industry. Also, there was a big trend of black furniture as well as an entrance of corporation and high glossy furniture due to technical cooperation from Europe. In 1990s, there was an entrance of furniture which various techniques was applied due to a high development of the materials and skills, and also various sizes of height and weight and enlargement of acceptance function using highly-technological hardware. After 2000 and now, pro-environmental products is embossed in the Korean home furniture where they added a public issue which is the concept of well being, and A.I and sub material has been pro-environment. There also was a natural unity between nature and technology because of increased usage of trees with its natural patterns, metals, and glasses. For the future development of home furniture design, This problem should be promptly recognized that current home furniture designs are now on the verge of being lack of originality and are just following the market demand and recent trend as it is. Then, there should be a development of its specialized, detailed, unique design as well as a development of advanced materials, production management, distribution, and so on, and carrying out a diversified research continuously. There also should be a systematic education, which is necessary for training specialists to lead the Korean home furniture design industry as well as preparing a basic level for the future without a negligence.

In primary and secondary schools, various information, such as grade results, observation and counseling materials, and psychological examination results which are generated in the course of educational activities, are accumulated and managed in various forms. Nevertheless, there is no educational information system that provides the analytical information for diagnosing and grasping students in a multidimensional manner. This is reminiscent of situations in which doctors rely solely on clinical experience to treat patients without using the results of various tests on patients. As pointed out by the Ministry of Education in 'Educational Big Data Utilization Measures' of the 5th Basic Plan of Educational Informatization(2014 ~ 2018), the reason why educational information systems do not exist is because there are no basic research as well as comprehensive and systemic research on this field. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a prototype for educational information system that enables customized student guidance by introducing the concept of analytical information systems that are used in various fields. We defined the core functions and contents of educational information system through job analysis and focus group interview, and implemented the prototype using Naver ProtoNow.

Mobile harbor which is a novel concept of ocean transportation to bring the containers from the cargo ship waiting on the ocean away is being focused now. To provide the mobile harbor with the stable loading/unloading condition, it is necessary to develop the oscillation mitigation technologies such as anti-rolling system. Anti-rolling system using AMD(Active Mass Driving) has merits that it can handle the disturbances more actively and mitigate the rolling oscillation faster than other type anti-rolling system. However, rack-and-pinion type AMD has problems such as big friction noise from gears and motor, wear and tear, and continuous maintenance. In this paper, novel anti-rolling system using Maglev type AMD for mobile harbor is suggested in order to resolve the problems caused by the friction. This novel anti-rolling system doesn't make any friction because it supports the moving mass by using magnetic levitation force and moves it by using propulsion force from the linear motor. The demo system of the novel anti-rolling system using maglev type AMD has been developed in order to investigate its feasibility. This paper presents the procedures and results of development of this demo system.

The World exposition is considered as a great event to promote the cultural exchanges of their own urbanism and share the technological developments among the various countries across the all over the world. So many countries in the world desired to host and take part in the EXPO, so far only few countries have had the chance to hold the event and show their uniqueness of urban culture, but we might say the past exhibition as those for display and publication of matters of science, technology and trade, now we must say expositions of the 21th century has come under variations on cultural and informational interchange and humanism from the global issue and problem. What makes possible to maximize the effort of reciprocal communication between people and the public can be the EXPO event as a means of the public information of the theme and this kind of event should suggest the public a message of the topic, message, image and even more the EXPO spirits and theme as an international event gives as much considerably spreading effect as its big scale. In that aspect, the pavilion for the exhibition of EXPO and public information should be recognized as a place for smoothly forming the activities of reciprocal communication between the society and the public, with such a aspect this study, as its purpose of improving as well as communication, concerns the process in projecting the space paradigm of pavilion in the EXPO and public message and information as a means of the communication of the global theme.

An Apartment Veranda is a transitive space which is being used for many different purpose. A Rear Veranda which is connected to the kitchen is an important space for the housekeeping work and it should be planned carefully to reflect the rational and functional designs. Therefore the objective of this research is to suggest a systematic basis for the practical space planning of the Rear veranda that meets the varied needs of consumers by examining its usage pattern through the analysis of the apartment occupant's behavior pattern stored item the degree of satisfaction and consumer requirements. The research was conducted mainly on apartments built after 1990. The following are the conclusions from the research : 1. Most of the research respondents were aware of the absolute need for the Rear veranda. But they expressed dissatisfaction with the space usage. This indicates that the Rear Veranda planning does not reflect the functionality of the space and concentrates on the idea of providing consumers a service space based on the size of the apartment instead. 2. Although the Rear veranda is used as the multipurpose housework space it is mainly used as the laundry and storage space. This shows a big deviation from the concept of the utility space. Because the behavior pattern associated with the Rear Veranda is largely influenced by the traditional life pattern the development of the Rear Veranda as an exclusive space for the housekeeping work. 3. According to a high frequency of the storage of the laundry related item in the Rear Veranda indicated by the research the Rear veranda is used as the laundry room as well as a auxiliary storage space by most people. The installation of gas range is expected to increase due to the expansion of the usage function of the Rear Veranda space. The installation of a specialized refrigerator to store the traditional food is demanded. 4. Consumers need more efficient and functional storage device because the temporary shelves are often being used as the storage device. The perception of the storage device is assumed to have been influence by the traditional life style.

The purpose of this study is to examine the romantic costume style which has become a big trend before and after the 21th century. For this purpose, I examined the development plans and characteristics of women's costume in France in the Romantic period from the 1820s to the 1850s and analyzed the aesthetic characteristics of romantic costume style The aesthetic characteristics of romantic style in the 19th century were defined by the feminine and elegant beauty, exoticism, and sensuality. Since the 1990s, the characteristics are classified into Feminine & Elegant Style, Ethnic & Fusion Style, and Sensual Style. Feminine & Elegant Style is characterized by delicate, splendid lace and frill decorations that have become more ornamental and technical since the 1990s. They create greater romance and express gentler and more elegant femininity away from the artificial silhouette. Ethnic & Fusion Style use more diverse ethnic patterns, colors, accessories, and details since the 1990s and shows more varieties and creativity in convergence with modern fashion. Sensual Style exposes the physical curve of female body. In the 19th century, cuffs and collars were exaggerated and shoulders were exposed for sensuality. After the 1990s, however, see-through materials have been used to show the beauty of natural physical curves or corsets have been worn as the outerwear. Studying romantic costume style, which arose as a concept of postmodernism, the cultural ideology that exists as a breakthrough of our time, is signified by the understanding of the latest cultural phenomenon and fashion trends.

After the modern age, the rapid urbanizationhad a big impact on the then architecture. R. Venturi and A. Rossi are two of the leading architects, developing architecture in cities in the US and Europe respectively. This study shed light on a tangible and intangible meaning and interpretation of urban landscapes through their architectural thoughts and architectures. The followings are the physical and intangible meaning and interpretation in architectural thoughts and works of those two architects. Venturi understood that iconological landscapes at the roadside in large citiesare the nature of physical landscapes. To Venturi, the façades of buildings at the roadside are a part of signage such as traffic lights and road signs, and those façades have the meaning of symbolic systems beyond simple physical landscapes. To A. Rossi, types of buildings as physical townscapes are a key role supporting raw data of classification in architecture. And also, those types have significance of the basic data shedding light on the principles and history of cities. For intangible factors in R. Venturi's architecture, daily routine, function and use, time, a use for a building and others form complex architecture. And also, those factors describe shared values of the same period as the façades of buildings and complex symbols and formative lexicons in metaphorical terms. For A. Rossi's intangible factors, 'collective memory' is buried in inhabitants of the city, and with that, the city is a place for memory to its inhabitants. What is more, cities' monuments have intangible landscapes like 'sustainability', 'permanence' and so on. With lots of events happening throughoutcities, those monuments are the whole images of cities giving the value to the urban buildings that reside in cities. Finally, R. Venturi's all-encompassing complex architecture concept was extended on a tangible and intangible point of townscapes. It was found that A. Rossi's tangible thought was formed from the whole landscape of historic cities in then Italy as the background of time and place. Also, With types of urban buildings and 'collective memory', A. Rossi drew architectural norms and formats of unchangeable types.

In the presidential political system, the word of the president has great influence on the formation of national policy and the decision-making process. Policy priorities are determined according to the president's ideology and core values, and various policies are established and executed according to the priorities. Therefore, this paper analyzes the contents of the president's speech. Since the president's speech is a semantic datum, in order to analyze unstructured text, big data analysis is conducted through the methods of machine learning and deep learning. In this study, the president's speech at the "National Sea Day" commemoration was obtained 1996 onwards and analyzed using topic modeling. As a result of the analysis, all the presidents' speeches were delivered with a view of the ocean that was consistent with the direction of their administration. It was confirmed that the ocean-industry-resource topics, which are the intrinsic values of the ocean, were not damaged and consistently emphasized by all presidents.
