A shift in perspective from standard finance to behavioral finance has taken place in the past two decades that explains how cognition and emotions are associated with financial decision making. This study aims to investigate the influence of various psychological factors on investment decision-making. The psychological factors that are investigated are differentiated into two aspects, cognitive and emotional aspects. From the cognitive aspect, we examine the influence of anchoring, representativeness, loss aversion, overconfidence, and optimism biases on investor decisions. Meanwhile, from the emotional aspect, the influence of herding behavior on investment decisions is analyzed. A quantitative approach is used based on a survey method and a snowball sampling that result in 165 questionnaires from individual investors in Yogyakarta. Further, we use the One-Sample t-test in testing all hypotheses. The research findings show that all of the variables, anchoring bias, representativeness bias, loss aversion bias, overconfidence bias, optimism bias, and herding behavior have a significant effect on investment decisions. This result emphasizes the influence of behavioral factors on investor's decisions. It contributes to the existing literature in understanding the dynamics of investor's behaviors and enhance the ability of investors in making more informed decision by reducing all potential biases.

With respect to the factors affecting information security awareness and behavior, the study of the relevance of the concept of optimistic bias is actively used in psychology. In other words, this study examines whether the optimistic bias of individuals affects information security in the field. In this sense, this study attempted to demonstrate the relevance of optimistic bias in information security behavior and awareness. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 111 people engaged in domestic private enterprises. The survey results showed that this personalized optimistic bias exists because of empirical factors related to personal security. Optimistic bias affects the security awareness information. The greater the optimistic bias, the lower the awareness and recognition of information security. In other words, optimistic bias affects information security awareness. Reducing the effects of optimistic bias is expected to reduce information security incidents, such as information leakages. However, the variety of information related ethical activities of a company did not have any effect on the information security awareness. Most previous studies have only examined the effect optimistic bias in the field of health. Therefore, this study fills an important gap in research in IT.
The effects of the substrate bias on the performance of programming erasing in p-channel flash memory cell have been investigated. It is found that applying positive substrate bias can improve the programming and erasing speed. This improvements can be explained by Substrate Current Induced Hot Electron Injection. From the results, we can confirm that BTB programming method is better in programming and erasing speed than CHE programming method.

A enw channel current model of GaAs MeSFET suitagle for applications to microwave CAD has been developed. The current model includes the bias-dependent frequency dispersion effects and its parameters are extracted from the pulsed I-V measurements at several quiescent bias points. The model is verified by applying to the nonlinear circuit designs of power amplifier and MMIC mixer.
The deterministic errors of semiconductor gyros and accelerometers must be estimated and compensated to develop the low-cost IMU using them. Generally, the dominant errors of the low-cost IMU are bias and misalignment errors. Bias is sensitive to temperature. Therefore, in this paper, the effect on temperature of bias is analyzed and temperature compensation are carryed out. It is shown by experiment that the compensation is efficient.

In this paper, reducing lense Vignetting effect and adaptive learning rate method are proposed to complement Scribner's neural network for nuc algorithm which is the effective algorithm in statistic SBNUC algorithm. Proposed reducing vignetting effect method is updated weight and bias each differently using different cost function. Proposed adaptive learning rate for updating weight and bias is using sobel edge detection method, which has good result for boundary condition of image. The ordinary statistic SBNUC algorithm has problem to compensate lense vignetting effect, because statistic algorithm is updated weight and bias by using gradient descent method, so it should not be effective for global weight problem same like, lense vignetting effect. We employ the proposed methods to Scribner's neural network method(NNM) and Torres's reducing ghosting correction for neural network nuc algorithm(improved NNM), and apply it to real-infrared detector image stream. The result of proposed algorithm shows that it has 10dB higher PSNR and 1.5 times faster convergence speed then the improved NNM Algorithm.
Purpose Global fintech industry is proliferating. Although domestic investment in fintech service is also increasing fast, user acceptance of fintech payment service seems slower than expected. Previous fintech literature mainly focuses on overall characteristics and technical aspects of fintech including security issues and explores factors affecting the service adoption. This study aims to examine crucial factors affecting user's resistance intention to fintech payment service adoption. The research model was formulated based on innovation diffusion theory and status quo bias theory and validated empirically. Design/methodology/approach The proposed research model was empirically validated with 149 responses from college students who have used fintech payment service. The component-based SEM was employed for data analysis. Findings The significant findings are as follow. First, compatibility has significant negative effect and complexity, and perceived risk has a positive effect on user resistance. Second, institutional trust does not show a significant effect on user resistance but has an indirect effect through the mediation of trust in service provider. Finally, trust in service provider shows the significant negative effect on user resistance.
Exchange bias effect of a various layered thin films were studied by FMR measurment. In plane angular dependence of a resonance field distribution which measured by FMR was analysed as a combined effect of an unidirectional anisotropy and an uniaxial anisotropy. Exchange biased NiFe/IrMn, IrMn/NiFe/IrMn, and NiFe/IrMn/CoFe thin films showed larger unidirectional anisotropy field and uniaxial anisotropy field with compared to that of an unbiased NiFe single thin film. In case of NiFe/Cu/IrMn, the film with thick Cu layer exhibited a similar trend to the unbiased NiFe thin film. NiFe/IrMn/CoFe thin film showed two resonance field distribution due to different ferromagnetic layers. In additon to the resonance field, the line width was also analysed with related to exchange bias effect.
Objective: This meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the overall effect of direct-fed microbial (DFM) or probiotic supplementation on the log concentrations of culturable gut microbiota in broiler chickens. Methods: Relevant studies were collected from PubMed, SCOPUS, Poultry Science Journal, and Google Scholar. The studies included controlled trials using DFM supplementation in broiler chickens and reporting log concentrations of the culturable gut microbiota. The overall effect of DFM supplementation was determined using standardized mean difference (SMD) with a random-effects model. Subgroups were analyzed to identify pre-specified characteristics possibly associated with the heterogeneity of the results. Risk of bias and publication bias were assessed. Results: Eighteen taxa of the culturable gut microbiota were identified from 42 studies. The overall effect of DFM supplementation on the log concentrations of all 18 taxa did not differ significantly from the controls (SMD = -0.06, 95% confidence interval [-0.16, 0.04], p = 0.228, $I^2=85%$, n = 699 comparisons), but the 18 taxa could be further classified into three categories by the direction of the effect size: taxa whose log concentrations did not differ significantly from the controls (category 1), taxa whose log concentrations increased significantly with DFM supplementation (category 2), and taxa whose log concentrations decreased significantly with DFM supplementation (category 3). Category 1 comprised nine taxa, including total bacterial counts. Category 2 comprised four taxa: Bacillus, Bifidobacterium, Clostridium butyricum, and Lactobacillus. Category 3 comprised five taxa: Clostridium perfringens, coliforms, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus, and Salmonella. Some characteristics identified by the subgroup analysis were associated with result heterogeneity. Most studies, however, were present with unclear risk of bias. Publication bias was also identified. Conclusion: DFM supplementation increased the concentrations of some beneficial bacteria (e.g. Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus) and decreased those of some detrimental bacteria (e.g. Clostridium perfringens and Salmonella) in the guts of broiler chickens.
