택소노미와 CIPP 모형을 활용한 학교도서관 우수프로그램의 특징 분석 (An Analysis of Chracteristics of School Library Program Employing Taxonomy and CIPP Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 각종 도서관 평가에서 선정된 우수사례 가운데 학교도서관 우수 프로그램 19건 (세부프로그램 161건)을 분석하였다. The Library Media Specialist's Taxonomy와 CIPP 모형을 기준으로 콘텐츠 분석을 시행하였다. 사서교사가 프로그램에 관여하는 정도를 나타내는 택소노미 분석에서는 학교의 구성원이 도서관을 이해하고 활용하는 7단계가 37.6%로 가장 큰 비중을 차지하였다. 택소노미의 10 단계 가운데 상위단계 (6~9단계, 사서교사의 관여도가 높음)가 65.9%의 비중을 차지하였다. CIPP 모델을 통해 분석한 결과, (상황) 대부분의 우수 프로그램은 독서교육(41.5%)과 도서관 이용법 교육(11.3%)을 목적으로 하고 있었으며 학습자의 요구로 시작된 사례가 과반(53.8%)을 넘었다. (투입) 우수 프로그램은 다양한 교재교구를 활용하였으며 고정된 시간에 운영되었다. (과정) 프로그램은 다양한 방법으로 운영되었는데, 독서교육(30.4%)과 문화활동(17.3%)이 주를 이루었다. (산출) 프로그램 운영 결과, 학생과 학부모의 만족도와 학생들의 성취도 향상과 프로그램 효과성이 보고되었다.

의료 서비스 환경에서 서비스 사용자 경험 디자인 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Holistic Spatial Design Elements for Service User Experiences in Healthcare Facilities)

  • For last decades, the interests and efforts to enhance healthcare facility users' experience is focused on improving facility environments for healing (Delvin, 2003) and servicescapes in order to meet the users' needs (Becker, 2008; Seunghee, 2011). In the emerging experience economy, customer want experiences and they're willing to pay for the experiences and memories not goods. (Pine, J. & Gillmore, J., 1999). It is important to identify what supports customer experiences and how they perceive the experiences in healthcare environments and it will provide important information for healthcare planners, managers, architects, and interior designers. This study examines the service user experience design elements from a User Experiences design perspective. It focuses on healthcare facilities as user experience elements and build up a conceptual framework that outlines service user experience design elements in healthcare facilities. Literature review and case studies were conducted to build the service user experience design elements according to affordance theory. Findings from this study shows that service user experience design elements were introduced and newly developed which can be categorized into three factors; 1) Functional experiences in the physical environments (safety, accessibility, self-directiveness), 2) emotional expression and cognitive experiences (identifiability/clarity, natural features/pleasant environment, aesthetic elements/playful space, media richness), 3) social relational experiences(closeness, privacy, communication with staff, integrated system). These service user experience design elements will help healthcare facility designers to understand what customer experiences, how they increase the satisfaction, and how they improve facilities for modeling the industry's best practices.

선진국의 일차의료부문의 통합의료 - 일차보건의료체계에서의 한의학에 주는 함의 - (Use of Integrative Medicine among primary care patients in Western counties - Its implication for traditional Korean medicine in primary care system -)

  • The objective of this study is to discuss the role of integrative medicine (IM) in contemporary health care settings, and how and which factors affect and facilitate the success of IM in terms of the integration of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and conventional medicine in primary health care (PHC). IM is meant to provide the best possible health care, for both patient and physician. The way of IM use in the developed countries presents various ways that IM can be provided, and it appears that strategies have been successfully developed to facilitate integration. Although few of the barriers to the integration of CAM and conventional medicine have been resolved, concerns over the legitimacy of CAM in health care (e.g., safety, biomedical evidence, and efficacy) are being overcome by the use of evidence-based practice in IM delivery. There are dominant models of IM that have been developed. The model types signify different levels of equity between CAM and conventional medicine in regard to the power, autonomy, and control held by each. However, the factors common to all IM models, whether describing CAM as supplementary or complementary to conventional medicine, is the concept of a health care model that aspires to be client-centred and holistic, with focus on health rather than disease as well as mutual respect among peer practitioners. Finally, this study concluded that the growth and viability of traditional Korean medicine(TKM) depend on evidence-based practices and identifying the successful influences on the integration of TKM and conventional medicine for recognition of its inherent value in PHC. Some recommendations for the integration of TKM and conventional medicine were suggested.

소유역의 효과적인 침식조절을 위한 유사평가 툴(SATEEC)의 개발 (Development of Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control (SATEEC) in Small Scale Watershed)

  • The Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) has been used in over 100 countries to estimate potential long-term soil erosion from the field. However, the RUSLE estimated soil erosion cannot be used to estimate the sediment delivered to the stream networks. For an effective erosion control, it is necessary to compute sediment delivery ratio (SDR) for watershed and sediment yield at watershed outlet. Thus, the Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control (SATEEC) was developed in this study to compute the sediment yield at any point in the watershed. To compute spatially distributed sediment yield map, the RUSLE was first integrated with the ArcView GIS and three area based sediment delivery ratio methods were incorporated in the SATEEC. The SATEEC was applied to the Bangdong watershed, Chuncheon, Gangwon Province to demonstrate how it can be used to estimate soil loss and sediment yield for a watershed. The sediment yield using USDA SDR method is 8,544 ton/year and 4,949 ton/year with the method by Boyce. Thus, use of watershed specific SDR is highly recommended when comparing the estimated sediment yield with the measured sediment data. The SATEEC was applied with hypothetical cropping scenario and it was found that the SATEEC can be used to assess the impacts of different management on the sediment delivered to the stream networks and to find the sediment source areas for a reach of interest. The SATEEC is an efficient tool to find the best erosion control practices with its easy-to-use interface.

볏짚 피복에 의한 밭 비점오염원 유출저감효과 분석을 위한 HSPF와 SWAT 모델링 (HSPF and SWAT Modelling for Identifying Runoff Reduction Effect of Nonpoint Source Pollution by Rice Straw Mulching on Upland Crops)

  • This study is to assess the reduction of non-point source pollution loads for rice straw mulching of upland crop cultivation at a watershed scale. For Byulmi-cheon watershed (1.21 $km^2$) located in the upstream of Gyeongan-cheon, the HSPF (Hydrological Simulation Program-Fortran) and SWAT (Soil and Water Assesment Tool), physically based distributed hydrological models were applied. Before evaluation, the model was calibrated and validated using 9 rainfall events. The Nash-Sutcliffe model efficiency (NSE) for streamflow using the HSPF was 0.62~0.76 and the determination coefficient ($R^2$) for water quality (sediment, total nitrogen T-N, and total phosphorus T-P) were 0.72, 0.62, and 0.63 respectively. The NSE for streamflow using the SWAT were 0.43~0.81 and the $R^2$ for water quality (sediment, T-N, and T-P) were 0.54, 0.87, and 0.64 respectively. From the field experiment of 16 rainfall events, the rice straw cover condition reduced surface runoff average 10.0 % compared to normal surface condition. By handling infiltration capacity (INFILT) in HSPF model, the value of 16.0 mm/hr was found to reduce about 10.0 % reduction of surface runoff. For this condition, the reduction effect of sediment, T-N, and T-P loads were 87.2, 28.5, and 85.1 % respectively. By handling soil hydraulic conductivity (SOL_K) in SWAT model, the value of 111.2 mm/hr was found to reduce about 10.0 point reduction of surface runoff. For this condition, the reduction effect of sediment, T-N, and T-P loads were 80.0, 83.2, and 78.7 % respectively. The rice straw surface covering was effective for removing surface runoff dependent loads such as sediment and T-P.

Estimating USLE Soil Erosion through GIS-based Decision Support System

  • The objective of this study was to develop a GIS-based decision support system (GIS-USLE system) to estimate soil erosion and evaluate its effect on concentrated upland plots in Godang district, Korea. This system was developed for the ArcView environment using A VENUE script. Three modules were used in the GIS-USLE system, namely pre-processing, the USLE factors calculator module, and post-processing. This system benefits from a user friendly environment that allows users with limited computer knowledge to use it. This system was applied to 1,285 individual upland plots ranging from 0.005 to 1.347 ha in size with an average slope steepness of 14 %. The rainfall distributions were estimated using the three methods, namely Mononobe and Yen-Chow with Triangle and with Trapezoid type, and then used to calculate the rainfall erosivity factor. The soil erosion amounts from the 1,285 individual plots in the study area by 2 year return period with a 24h maximum rainfall amount of 154.6 mm were estimated at 5 tons/ha on average. Slope appeared to be the most important factor affecting soil erosion estimation, as expected. The prototype model was applied to the project area, and the results appeared to support the practical applications. By examining many fields simultaneously, this system can easily provide fast estimation of soil erosion and thus reveal the spatial pattern of erosion from fields in a region. This study will help estimate and evaluate soil erosion in concentrated upland districts and identify the best management practices.

멀티 코어 시스템에서 통신 프로세스의 동적 스케줄링 (Dynamic Scheduling of Network Processes for Multi-Core Systems)

  • 멀티 코어 프로세서는 현재 많은 고성능 서버에 적용되어 사용되고 있다. 최근 이들 서버는 점차 높은 네트워크 대역폭 활용을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 요구를 만족시키기 위해서는 멀티 코어를 효율적으로 활용하여 네트워크 처리율을 향상시키는 방안이 필요하다. 그러나 현재 운영체제들은 멀티 코어 시스템을 멀티 프로세서 환경과 거의 동일하게 다루고 있으며 아직 멀티 코어의 고유 특성을 고려한 성능 최적화 시도는 미흡한 상태이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 멀티 코어의 특성을 최대한으로 고려하여 프로세스 스케줄링을 결정함으로써 통신 성능을 향상시키는 방안에 대해서 연구한다. 제안되는 프로세스 스케줄링은 멀티 코어 프로세서의 캐쉬 구조, 프로세스의 통신 집중도, 그리고 각 코어의 부하를 기반으로 해당 프로세스에게 최적의 코어를 결정하고 스케줄링한다. 제안된 기법은 리눅스 커널에 구현되었으며 측정 결과는 최신 리눅스 커널의 네트워크 처리율을 20%까지 향상시켰으며 프로세서 자원은 55% 더 절약할 수 있음을 보인다.

  • 스마트 시대라고 불리는 현재, 사람들은 이제 오프라인 만남보다 온라인 만남이 편리하고 익숙하다. 하지만 온라인을 통한 만남은 가볍게 느끼는 경우가 많으며, 구성원들이 서로의 감정을 느끼기 어려워 교감이 잘 되지 않는다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 오프라인 만남을 활성화 할 수 있는 모바일 애플리케이션 위콕을 제안한다. 사용자들의 위치정보와 선호도를 반영하여 약속 장소를 추천하는 애플리케이션인 위콕은 기능중심의 UI와 간단한 조작과정을 제공한다. 위콕은 클라이언트/서버 구조로 구현되었으며, 현재 동시에 3명의 사용자 간의 장소 추천을 지원한다. 위콕은 만남의 공간을 온라인에서 오프라인으로 확대시키는 접점이 되어 온라인, 오프라인 양방향으로의 교류를 가능하게 한다. 이제 사용자는 위콕을 통해 쉽고 편리하게 오프라인 만남장소를 정할 수 있다.

경사지 밭에서 발생하는 토양유실 저감을 위한 피복재 적용 (Surface Cover Application for Reduction of Runoff and Sediment Discharge from Sloping Fields)

  • To measure effects of surface cover on runoff and sediment discharge reduction using rainfall simulator, four(5 m${\times}$30 m scale) plot experiments were conducted in this study. Surface covers made with straw mat, Polyacrylamide (PAM), chaff, and sawdust were simulated 4 times under 31.1~44.4 mm/hr rainfall intensities. Compared with results from control plot, the time of runoff generation is delayed and outflow volume decreased with surface cover. Effects on runoff reduction of straw mat, PAM, sawdust and chaff ranged 4.7~81.5 % and runoff rate reduced by 6.5~76.1 % respectively, when compared with those from control plot. The percentage of decrease in sediment discharge were 99.7~99.8 % from straw mat+sawdust+PAM plots, 85.9~95.6 % from straw mat+PAM plots, and 98.5~99.4 % from straw mat+chaff+PAM plots. The runoff, sediment discharge, and SS concentration reduction efficiencies of the cover materials were outstanding when compared to control plot. It was analyzed that reduction of runoff and sediment discharge were mainly contributed by decrease in rainfall energy impact and flow velocity and increase of infiltration due to the surface cover materials. The results could be used as a base for the development of best management practices (BMPs) to reduce runoff, sediment discharge from sloping field.

전자의무기록의 클라우드 기반 저장소 이동시 고려사항 (Considerations for the Migration of Electronic Medical Records to Cloud Based Storage)

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 대한 관심이 많아짐으로 인해 많은 기관들이 클라우드 컴퓨팅으로 전환을 결정하고 있다. 확장성, 비용 효율성, 접근성 등 다양한 장점으로 인해 의료 기관들도 정보 인프라를 클라우드 기반으로 전환하는 것을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 장점에도 불구하고 많은 양의 민감한 개인정보를 이동 (migration) 하는 것에 대한 여러 가지가 고려되어야 한다. 의료 기관은 민감한 환자 정보에 대한 보안, 안정성, 가용성을 고려하고 또한 HIPPA와 같은 법적인 요구 사항을 만족시켜야 한다. 본 연구는 전자의무기록을 클라우드 기반 저장소로 이동시 장점 및 문제점을 조사하고 또한 고려사항을 제안하고자 한다.
