This study examined the relationship among supervision behaviors, self-efficacy, and job stress of childcare teachers for infants. This study also investigated whether the childcare teachers' supervision behaviors affected self-efficacy and job stress and whether their self-efficacy acted as a mediating effects on job stress and supervisory behaviors. The participants were 292 childcare teachers for infants in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The instruments utilized were the parent supervision attributes scale, Korean occupational stress scale, and teacher self-efficacy scale. The data analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation coefficients and hierarchical regression analysis. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis, Which Baron & Kenny first proposed, was conducted. The significance of the mediation effect was verified by the Sobel test. The results were as follows: First, the childcare teachers' supervision behaviors had a positive correlation with the teachers' self-efficacy, while the teachers' supervision behaviors and self-efficacy had a negative correlation with job stress. Second, job stress appeared to have a negative on supervision behaviors. Self-efficacy appeared to have a positive effect on supervision behaviors. Third, the mediating effect of self-efficacy was verified in the relationship between supervision behaviors and job stress. The more self-efficacy the childcare teachers had, the more supervision behaviors they performed. The greater their self-efficacy, the more the childcare teachers were able to control job stress. Therefore, by enhancing the self-efficacy of childcare teachers, their level of supervision behaviors should increase and their level of job stress should decrease.
This study examines the effects of health-promoting behaviors of grandmothers participating in their infant grandchildren's nurture and provides data for enhancing the quality of their lives. The sample included 218 consenting subjects who understood the purpose of the study. These subjects resided in three cities in Jeollanam-do, Korea, and were grandmothers entrusted by their adult children with a considerable amount of nurturing for their preschool-aged grandchildren under the age of six. First, the subjects scored an average of 3.05 for health-promoting behaviors and 2.42 for entrapment. Second, the entrapment measurement based on general characteristics showed a higher level of entrapment for those with better health, a lower education level, no religion, male grandchildren to nurture, and unsatisfactory compensation. Third, health-promoting behaviors and entrapment (r=-.304) were negatively correlated. Fourth, the analysis results for effects of health-promoting behaviors of grandmothers on entrapment based on general characteristics of grandmothers as a control variable reveal a significant effect of health-promoting behaviors on entrapment. In other words, the greater the employment of health-promoting behaviors, the less likely the entrapment was to be perceived. Fifth, the results for effects of subcriteria for health-promoting behaviors on entrapment reveal a decrease in entrapment when the subjects engaged in an appropriate level of physical activity with a relaxed state of mind. These results suggest that health-promoting behaviors of grandmothers participating in their infant grandchildren's nurture are likely to influence entrapment and thus that grandmothers should make efforts to actively engage in health-promoting behaviors to reduce any maladaptive effects on nurturing. Social support and related programs should be fostered to enable grandmothers to better practice health-promoting behaviors while nurturing their grandchildren.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify health promotion behaviors of elementary school teachers and investigate the factors influencing the health promotion behaviors. Methods: Data were collected from 234 elementary school teachers in the B Metropolitan City Office of Education from 5th to 30th October, 2016. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Spearman correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The elementary school teachers' health perception scored 2.94 out of 4, health status 1.59 out of 3, and health promotion behaviors 2.66 out of 4. The level of mental health status (1.67) was higher than that of physical health status (1.54) and the most practiced health promotion behavior was spiritual growth (3.15) and the least was health responsibility (2.00). Significant negative correlations were found between health perception and health status (r=-.59, p<.001) and between health status and health promotion behaviors (r=-.41, p<.001). A significant positive correlation was found between health perception and health promotion behaviors (r=.32, p<.001). The significant factors influencing health promotion behaviors were job stress and health status. These factors explained 19.6% of the health promotion behaviors. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish measures to increase the health perception and health promotion behaviors of elementary school teachers and improve their health status. In addition, since job stress and health status are factors influencing health promotion behaviors, it is necessary to actively manage job stress and health status in order to increase health promotion behaviors.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the factors explaining protective behaviors against radiation exposure in perioperative nurses based on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. A total of 229 perioperative nurses participated between October 3 and October 20, 2021. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 software. The three exogenous variables (attitude toward radiation protective behaviors, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control) and two endogenous variables (radiation protective intention and radiation protective behaviors) were surveyed. Results: The hypothetical model fit the data (χ2/df = 1.18, SRMR = .02, TLI = .98, CFI = .99, RMSEA = .03). Radiation protective intention (β = .24, p = .001) and attitude toward radiation protective behaviors (β = .32, p = .002) had direct effects on radiation protective behaviors. Subjective norm (β = .43, p = .002) and perceived behavior control (β = .24, p = .003) had direct effects on radiation protective intention, which explained 38.0% of the variance. Subjective norm (β = .10, p = .001) and perceived behavior control (β = .06, p = .002) had indirect effects via radiation protective intention on radiation protective behaviors. Attitude toward radiation protective behaviors, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control were the significant factors explaining 49.0% of the variance in radiation protective behaviors. Conclusion: This study shows that the theory of planned behavior can be used to effectively predict radiation protective behaviors in perioperative nurses. Radiation safety guidelines or education programs to enhance perioperative nurses' protective behaviors should focus on radiation protective intention, attitude toward radiation protective behaviors, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control.

The purpose of this study is searching for hemodialysis nursing bahaviors by hemodialysis room nurses and analyzing them. Then, it estimates hemodialysis nursing costs and obtains basic data for development of proper nursing costs. First, it searched for hemodialysis nursing behaviors at a tertiary hospital hemodialysis room in Seoul and classified them. After the content validity was verified by 6 experts, Tool of hemodialysis nursing behaviors was developed. patients who recived hemodialysis were classified by dialysis patient classification tool. The searcher observed hemodialysis nursing behaviors applied to classified patients per 5 minutes. Then hemodialysis nursing hours spent to classified patients were calculated respectively. The direct expenditures and indirect expenditures were estimated. Ultimately, hemodialysis nursing costs were estimated. The results of the study were as follows ; 1. hemodialysis nursing behaviors were grouped by the same knowledge and skills. then, the content validity of them was verified by evaluation tool of nursing intervention classification by expert groups. They consisted of 9 hemodialysis activity domains and 71 hemodialysis nursing behaviors. The predialysis activity domain included 15 nursing behaviors, the activity domain of start-dialysis included 12 nursing behaviors, the activity domain of during- dialysis included 9 nursing behaviors, the activity domain of finish-dialysis included 5 nursing behaviors, the activity domain of after-dialysis included 5 nursing behaviors, the nursing documentation & undertaking and transfering included 5 nursing behaviors, the supply, drug, equipment & environment management activity domain included 7 nursing behaviors, the patient emotional support & education activity domain included 4 nursing behaviors, the emergency activity domain included 9 nursing behaviors. 2. The acute hemodialysis nursing hours were 106.42 minutes per a dialysis and the chroni hemodialysis nursing hours were 72.23 minutes per a dialysis. 3. The direct expenditure was 11.971 won per hour and indirect expenditure was 288won. 4. Finally, the cost of acute hemodialysis was 21,745 won and that of chronic hemodialysis was 14,759 won. By search of hemodialysis nursing behaviors, they will be used as hemodialysis nursing care standard and will be tended toward high qualitative care. Estimation of hemodialysis nursing costs will be used as fundamental data for development of proper nursing costs.
This study attempts to provide basic information that is necessary to establish the direction of oral health education process abd to develop effective oral health promoting programs for college students by analyzing the modifying factors that may affect their oral health behaviors and their cognitive and perceptive factors. Data for this study are collected by the questionnaire method from college students who attend colleges located Chungchong and Busan province for the period between June 20, 2006 and July 30, 2006. The respondents were chosen from Dental department and Non-Dental department. After omitting the responses with insufficient information, 409 valid responses are used for this analysis. The major finding of the present study are as follows: 1. Oral health behaviors factor is higher rate dental department than non-dental department, dental department than non-dental department appear significant the oral health education, the lasted year round oral examination, the used of oral hygiene supplies, oral prevention treatment. 2. Oral health behaviors and perception-awareness factor is higher score dental department than non-dental department and self efficiency is similar. Oral health behaviors is higher score dental department, the barriers to oral health behaviors is similar. The benefits of oral health behavior is higher score dental department. 3. The oral health behavior is higher dental department. In dental department the overall average score for oral health behaviors question is the correct teeth-brushing, self-restraint of liquor and cigarettes. Non dental department the overall average score for oral health behaviors question is the correct teeth brushing, good nutrition. The lower average score is scaling and periodic oral examination. 4. The correlation coefficient analysis between oral health behaviors and perception-awareness factors, variables which appear significant correlation coefficient by the self-efficiency are the control of oral health, the benefits of oral health behaviors, behavior of oral health, variables which appear significant correlation coefficient by the control of oral health are the benefits of oral health behaviors, the knowledge of oral health, behavior of oral health. The objective of this study is to divide the classroom behaviors into the obstacle behaviors in the classroom and the participation behaviors in the classroom for improvement of classroom behaviors upon the subjects of 4th graders of elementary school, and to find out what effects the self-monitoring program influences onto classroom obstacle behaviors and classroom participation behaviors of the subjective children. Study problems established in order to achieve this objective of study are to find out: first, what effects the self-monitoring program influences classroom obstacle behaviors of children, and second, what effects the self-monitoring program influences classroom participation behaviors of children. The subjects of this study are 12 children of a normal classroom of 4th grade of A elementary school located in J city of Jeollabuk-do, out of which 8 children, who showed high proportion in the classroom obstacle behaviors, and 8 children, who showed low proportion in the classroom participation behaviors were selected, and 4 children were those who belonged to both groups resultantly in accordance with the behavior scales measured during the baseline period. To summarize the results obtained through this study, first, the self-monitoring program turned out to influence positive effects upon reduction in the classroom obstacle behaviors of children and retention of their changed behaviors; second, the self-monitoring program turned out to influence positive effects upon increase in the classroom participation behaviors of children and retention of their changed behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to investigate influences on wives' financial management behavior economic instability and coping behavior of urban household. Economic instability was constructed with an objective economic status and perceived economic instability. And, Financial management behaviors were constructed with four dimensions : investment, income/expenditure, risk, and debt management behavior. The subjects of this study were 225 housewives. Factor analysis, Cronbach ${\alpha}$, and multiple regression were performed for data analysis. The results show that, coping behaviors of searching and using information and perceived economic hardship related to debt influenced housewives' investment management behaviors. The coping behaviors of searching and using information, expending in the range of planned budget, using debt, perceived economic hardship related to debt, income insufficiency, and selective expenditure influenced the consumption-expenditure management behaviors. Perceived economic hardship related to essential expenditures and coping behaviors of searching and using information influenced the risk management behaviors. Coping behaviors of searching and using information, using debts and purchasing and using economically, and perceived economic hardship related to essentials influenced debt management behaviors.
Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was to identify factors influencing pulmonary tuberculosis patients' self-care behaviors. Methods: The patients were 125 adults over the age of 19 who were diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis, receiving care at the National tuberculosis hospital. The survey questions measured family support, multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MSPSS), stigma and self-care behaviors. Results: The average score for self-care behaviors was 3.91, ranging from 2.22 to 5.00. There was a significant positive correlation between self-care behaviors and support system. There was a significant negative correlation between self-care behaviors and stigma. The significant variables influencing self-care behaviors were family support (β = .33, P< .001), smoking (β= -.23, p= .002), age (β= .22, p= .005) and experience of stopping treatment (β= -.17, p= .040). These factors explain 36% of pulmonary tuberculosis patients' self-care behaviors. Conclusion: Family support is very important to improve selfcare for tuberculosis patients. However, those in their fifties, men, and those who do not have a job and have underlying diseases have low family support, so they need active support at the national level. The study results suggest that a educational and nursing programs must be designed to reduce stigma and promote support system in order to enhance self-care behaviors.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors determining health behavior for middle-aged adults in relation to stress coping behaviors, cognitive factors, social support, and sociodemographic variables. Method: The questionnaire survey was carried out on a convenience sample of 203 middle aged in a community settings. The data analysis procedure included frequency, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regressions using health behavior as dependent variable. Result: Among the sociodemographic variables, factors such as sex, educational and eonomic levels were associated with the health behaviors. There were significant correlations between health behaviors and saliency of health, social support, and positive-stress coping behaviors. Stepwise multiple regression revealed that the factors such as positive-stress coping behaviors, saliency of health, sex, and education turned out to be significant affecting factors. Twenty eight percent of varience in health behavior was explained by these factors. Conclusion: Positive-stress coping methods were turned out to be the most important effective factors in practicing of health behaviors of middle aged. The necessity of an intervention considering the situation related to their stress and coping methods in middle aged so as to promote positive health behaviors was suggested.
