Objective : Gamisibgi-San was a drug that treated carbuncle and cellulitis. So, the purpose of this Study was to investigate effects of Gamisibgi-San on the anti-cancer and proliferation of immunocytes. Materials and Method : We used Gamisibgi-San extract(GMSGS) with freeze-dried, 8wks-old male mice and cancer cell lines(L1210, S-180) for this Study. The cytotoxicity and proliferation of cells wat tested using a colorimetric tetrazoliun assay(MIT assay). Results and Conclusion : The results of this Study were obtained as follow ; 1. GMSGS was significantly showed cytotoxicity on the L1210 cell lines and S-180 cell lines. 2. GMSGS was significantly increased in the proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes in vitro. 3. GMSGS was significantly decreased in the proliferation of L1210 cells in L1210 cells transplanted mice. 4. GMSGS was significantly decreased in the Weight of Sarcoma in S-180 cells transplanted mice. 5. GMSGS was significantly increased in the Period of Survive in S-180 cells transplanted mice. The present author thought that GMSGS had action of anti-cancer by becoming immunocytes activity(proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes).

Methods : We used Takliikgi-tang extract (TLT) with freeze-dried, 8weeks-old male mice and cancer cell lines (L1210, Sarcoma-180) for this Study. The cytotoxicity and proliferation of cells were tested using a colorimetric tetrazoliun assay (MTT assay). Results : 1. TLT was significantly showed cytotoxicity on the L1210, 5-180 cell lines. 2. TLT was significantly increased proliferation of thymocytes in vitro. 3. TLT was significantly increased proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes in normal mice. 4. As more consumers avoid ads aided by advanced technologies that conveniently block ads, traditional advertising is becoming less effective than ever before. Product placements are increasingly executed to unobtrusively expose products and brands to consumers while they watch media programs. The current study attempts to enhance our understanding of the factors that affect consumer attitude towards the brands placed in TV dramas. In particular, this study examines whether the attractiveness of actors and the congruency between the products placed and the story of the TV drama influence consumer attitudes towards the TV drama and the brand. A total of 211 male consumers in their 20s and 30s were used for data analyses. Structural equation modelling revealed that the product-story congruence had a positive impact on consumer attitude towards the TV drama as well as their attitude towards the brand. Actor attractiveness (in terms of similarity and likability) positively influenced consumer attitude towards the brand. Only the perceived likability dimension of actor attractiveness was found to affect consumer attitude towards the TV drama.

On the right lower lobe, scar carcinoma was presented in the Korean male, 56 years old, in February, 1982. His tumor is moderate differentiated adenocarcinoma. Scar carcinoma, a rare form of adenocarcinoma, is usually discovered on autopsy and rarely on surgical resected specimen and these tumors are found in areas of lung scarring. Most of the tumors are adenocarcinoma and found in the upper lobes and related to infarcts, tuberculous scars. No relationship between smoking and scar cancers were reported. The scar cancers are becoming more common. An apparent increase in scar cancer in the periphery of the lung was reported in America. Scar cancer does not present special clinical symptoms and signs, except manifestations of surrounded tissue compressed by large tumors in far advanced stage. These tumors progress slowly and metastasize late but characteristic signs on scar area of the lung can be discovered from the early stage on X-ray examination [solitary peripheral nodule and scar]. So careful study on chest x-ray film was acquired and if necessary, conservative resection of the lesion is indicated because the long term prognosis is not at all bad.

This is the research of Abject Art which was originated aesthetically in Abjection Theory of Julia Kristeva, a french psycho-analyst who argued liberational discussions about feminine identity against patricentric ideology which had fastened existing beautiful and elegant oedipal-feminine image and femininity as the secondary sex or the other's sex. and which became known by the planning display at whitney Museum of American in 1993. In Julia Kristeva's Abjection Theory which was written in her book(Power of Horror : An Assay on Abjection, 1992), she named pre-oedipal stage in which there is no sexual difference and has the same significance to both sexes instead of the oedipal stage which is becoming male-supreme reality as the semiotic and reinterpreted that an infant disregards feminine body--mother's body (Julia Kristeva, named it as Chora) as the love and the pain which carries her baby in herself and creates the baby which belonged to herself--which belongs to the semiotic to enter the symbolic smoothly. So the Abjection art is partly consist of some works which express the concertion of the boundary rebated with infant Identity which is not yet the other perfectly nor the subject perfectly, and of some works called Excretory Arts which express the excretion and vomiting which is the original experience of the abject. I expect that this research can be the chance of breaking from the fastened identity which was granted on female and feminine costume in this masculine-view centric society and creating the new position of costume and dress in the field of art by analyzing the costumes especially among these works.

The extension of design life among power plants is increasingly becoming a world-wide trend. Kori #1 unit in Korea is operating two cycle. It has two man-ways for tube inspection in a steam generator which is one of the important components in a nuclear power plant. Especially, stud bolts fur man-way cover have damaged by disassembly and assembly several times and degradation for bolt materials for long term operation. It should be evaluated and compared by ASME Code criteria for integrity evaluation. Integrity evaluation criteria which has been made by the manufacturer is not applied on the stud bolts of nuclear pressure vessels directly because it is controlled by the yield stress of ASME Code. It can apply evaluation criteria through FEM analysis to damaged female threads and to evaluated safety fer helical-coil method which is used according to Code Case-N-496-1. From analysis results, we found .that it is the same results between stress intensity which got from FEM analysis on damaged female threads over 10％ by manufacture integrity criteria and 2／3 yield strength criteria on ASME Code. It was also confirmed that the helical-coil repair method would be safe.

With increasing number of dental patients, it is also increasing patient's desire to get better medical service. As the concern for improvement of dental medical service quality is growing, satisfaction degree of dental patients is becoming very important. This study was to investigate difference of patients' satisfaction degree concerned with installation of dental labs and the reason. The data for this study were collected through Self-Administered Questionnaires from 284 patients who had visited dental clinics more than two times. The results are as follows: Female respondents ratio was as twice much as male ones. And 54.2% of the respondents were found out to have completed university education. Dental clinics with dental labs scored higher than others in patients' satisfaction and recommendation willingness degree. Dental clinics without dental labs scored higher in patients' revisiting willingness degree. With simple Correlation Analyses it was found out that the most influential variable concerned with patients' general satisfaction degree was medical facility in dental clinics with dental labs, dentist ability to cure in dental clinics without dental labs. There were some discrepancies with other subordinate variables. Through Stepwise Multiful Regression Analyses it was found out that the most influential variable with patients' general satisfaction degree was dentist ability to cure in total and dental clinics without dental labs and medical facility in dental clinics with dental labs. There were also some discrepancies with other subordinate variables.

Vitamin D deficiency (VDD) is becoming an epidemic and thereby a global health problem. Further, VDD adversely affects calcium metabolism and skeletal health, and is associated with increased risk of several diseases, e.g., autoimmune diseases, several types of cancers, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, asthma, psoriatic arthritis, and etc. To evaluate the prevalence of VDD in Korea, and then to evaluate the association of several factors with serum 25(OH)D level, the author analyzed the data of 14,456 individuals who were 10 years of age and over from the Fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 1 & 2 (KNHANES V-1 & 2) conducted by the Korean Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. As a result, among Koreans (age $${\geq_-}$$ 10years), 65.9% of males and 77.7% of females were below optimum blood serum 25(OH)D (20 ng/mL). VDD is more severe in female than in male at all age groups. In addition, the younger generations had less 25(OH)D level than older generations in Korea. The analysis by complex sample general linear model (CSGLM) suggested that blood 25(OH)D concentration was related with gender (p < .001), residence (p = .030), occupation (p < .001), anemia (p < .001) and physical activity (p < .001). In conclusion, VDD is pandemic and it is more severe in younger generations in Korea. Further, from the results by CSGLM, serum 25(OH)D status is closely related with the life style of Koreans.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the classification and meaning of symbols, of the clothes of the college students by sex-roll theory and identity theory. The clothes analyzed in this study were collected by photographs which were taken in the campus (240 out of 1,000 pictures) of the several colleges and universities in Seoul form fall in 1993 to summer in 1994. The results were as follow : 1. Analysis as a symbol of sexuality. The phenomenon of the visual inconsistency and consistency of sexual image in dress were showed simultaneously. The clothes of male students were generally becoming feminine style in materials and colors of clothes. These suggested that sex-roll theory be applied to their clothes. 2. Analysis as symbols of identification or individuality. The identification of shoes, bags, accessories, and hair styles were prominent than that of clothes. When it was analyzed as a symbol of individuality, the college students seemed to act as fashion leaders, who accepted new fashions and tried them on first. These suggested that Erikson′s theory on identity be applied to their clothes. 3. Analysis as a symbol of emblem. The dissimilarities of between the college students and other groups in the same generation were bright and casual attire with files, books, and sack. 4. Analysis as a symbol of campus ceremony. The clothes of college students on campus ceremonies were more causal and flexible than those of other groups in the same generation. It was known that the symbols showed above were reflected on their clothes as "one′s expressions" which are sex-roll, identity, and characteristics of college students.
