A linear-prediction-based blind equalization algorithm for single-input single-output (SISO) finite impulse response/infinite impulse response (FIR/IIR) channels is proposed. The new algorithm is based on second-order statistics, and it does not require channel order estimation. By oversampling the channel output, the SISO channel model is converted to a special single-input multiple-output (SIMO) model. Two forward linear predictors with consecutive prediction delays are applied to the subchannel outputs of the SIMO model. It is demonstrated that the partial parameters of the SIMO model can be estimated from the difference between the prediction errors when the length of the predictors is sufficiently large. The sufficient filter length for achieving the optimal prediction is also derived. Based on the estimated parameters, both batch and adaptive minimum-mean-square-error equalizers are developed. The performance of the proposed equalizers is evaluated by computer simulations and compared with existing algorithms.

Recently, our circumstances are threatened by an accident that leakage of under ground storage tank and illegal dumping of synthetic organic compounds at chemical plants and many treatment methods, Activated carbon adsorption, Ozonization, Membrane filtration and Photocatalystic oxidation, are developed to remove such a synthetic organic compounds. And it has reported that Activated carbon adsorption have a great removal efficiency to nondegradable matters and organic compounds which have a high molecular weight. Comparing with other adsorbents, Activated carbon adsorption have a worse efficiency when ad desorption speed is low. Thus improved type of adsorbents was invented and one of those is Activated Carbon Filter. The purpose of this study was getting information about adsorption characteristic phenol which can be applied Activated Carbon Fiber and Granular Activated Carbon. In detail, With comparing removal characteristics of phenol in the presence Humic Acid using Activated Carbon Fiber(ACF) and Granular Activated. Carbon(GAC), it is to certify an effective application of Activated Carbon Fiber. At the range of this study, Batch test, Isotherm adsorption test and Factorial analysis, following conclusion were obtained from the results of this study. Batch test was carried to know time of adsorption equilibrium. In this study about time of adsorption equilibrium by ACF was faster than GAC's, for developed micropore of ACF. From the result of phenol adsorption test, High removal rate of adsorption is shown at pH 5. The result of lsotherm adsorption test, it has represented that the Freundlich's isotherm is most suitable one in others, that a ACF's adsorption capacity is more excellent than GAC's. Adsorption of phenol exiting humic acid is decreased getting raised humic acid concentration. Since ACF's micropore is developed at this time, an effect of high molecular humic acid is lower. Factorial analysis was carried to know about Main effect which was injection dosage of adsorbent in the range of this study.
The formation of soluble microbial products(SMP) and molecular weight distribution on loading rate were observed in batch-type culture medium, which phenol was fed as a substrate. The molecular weight destribution was obtained by using 30K, 100K dalton and $0.45{\mu}$ membrane filters. When the phenol concentrationas a substrate was 120, 230 and 440 mg/L , the specific substrate utilization rate(q) showed 0.639, 1.281 and 1.744 mgTOC/mgMLSS/day, respectively. The endogenous biomass decay rate constant($K_d$) at each substrate concentration was 0.00536, 0.0661 and 0.0749($day^1$), respectively. The $SMP_e$ product rate constant($k_{SMP}_ e$) showed 0.006, 0.0058 and 0.0057($day^1$), respectively. The initial influent substrate during the course of time degraded and produced $SMP_s$. The $SMP_s$ was converted to the $SMP_{nd}$ and endogenous phase converted to the $SMP_e$ ingredients. The molecula weight distribution on loading rate was converted to a higher MW during the course of time.
The applicability of biobarrier or in situ microbial filter technology for the remediation of groundwater contaminated with chlorinated solvent was investigated through batch microcosm study. The efficiency and rates of reductive dechlorination of tetrachloroethylene (PCE) are known to be highly dependent on hydrogen concentration. In this study, the effect of electron donors on the reductive dechlorination of PCE was investigated using vermicompost (or worm casting) and peat as a biobarrier medium. The effect of organic acids (lactate, butyrate and benzoate), yeast extract and vitamin $B_{12}$ on the reductive dechlorination was investigated. In the absence of biobarrier medium (adsorbent), addition of electron donors stimulated the dechlorination rate of PCE compared to the control experiment (i.e., no electron donor added). Among the treatments, addition of lactate or lactate/benzoate as hydrogen donor exhibited the highest dechlorination rate ($k_1=0.0260{\sim}0.0266\;day^{-1}$). In case of using vermicompost as a biobarrier medium, amendment of lactate/benzoate exhibited the highest dechlorination rate following with a pseudo-first-order degradation rate constant of $k_1=0.0849\;day^{-1}$. In contrast, when Pahokee peat was used as a biobarrier medium, either butyrate or lactate addition exhibited the highest dechlorination rate with $k_1$ values of 0.1092 and $0.1067\;day^{-1}$, respectively. The results of this study showed the potential applicability of in situ biobarrier technology using vermicompost or peat as a barrier material for the remediation of groundwater contaminated with chlorinated solvent.
To improve the nitrogen reduction capability of stormwater treatment systems subjected to intermittent saturation, organic materials are often added as filter media. However, these materials can be an additional source of organic carbon and increase the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the outflow. In this study, different types of organic filter media were subjected to a batch leaching test to observe and quantify the release of COD. Results reveal that the initial pH of the tap water used for soaking which is 7.5-7.7 is conducive to the release of organics from the media to the leachate. The highest amount of COD released was observed in yard clippings and woodchip followed by compost and bark mulch. The leaching of organics also increased as the size of the media decreases due to higher surface area per volume. In addition, empirical regression analysis predicted that COD from these organic media will be exhausted from the material in 3-5 months to up to 26 months depending on the type of media. The results of this study can serve as a guide in estimating the potential release of COD in organic media in order to ensure their safe application in stormwater treatment facilities.
To improve the efficiency of removal of bacteria and virus with DynaSand Filters used for treatment of recycling wastewater from aquaculture, effect of biofilm formation on bacterial transport through coated sand was estimated. At the neutral pH (pH 7.0), the coated sand was positive of zeta potential (surface charge). Column experiments were also carried out to test the effect of uncoated sand as well as coated sand with Al and Fe. The coated sand influenced more significantly the surface properties, adsorption and transport than the uncoated sand. The leaching batch system investigated for synthetic water showed concentrations of 7.47, 4.80, 20.89 and 7.23 mg/L for the uncoated sand, coated sand with Al, Fe and Al+Fe, respectively. Hence there are significant differences among the tested coatings with reference to bacterial transport and surface properties.

To utilize sensory data, it is necessary to design architecture for processing and handling data generated from sensors in an IoT environment. Especially in the IoT environment, a thing connects to the Internet and efficiently enables to communicate a device with diverse sensors. But Hadoop and Twister based on MapReduce are good at handling data in a batch processing. It has a limitation for processing stream data from a sensor in a motion. Traditional streaming data processing has been mainly applied a MoM based message queuing system. It has maintainability and scalability problems because a programmer should consider details related with complex messaging flow. In this paper architecture is designed to handle sensory data aggregated The designed software architecture is used to operate an application on the open source framework Storm. The application is conceptually used to transform streaming data which aggregated via sensor gateway by pipe-filter style.

VANET (Vehicular Ad-hoc Network) is a type of MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) which is the next-generation networking technology to provide communication between vehicles or between vehicle and RSU (Road Side Unit) using wireless communication. In VANET system, a vehicle accident is likely to cause awful disaster. Therefore, in VANET environment, authentication techniques for the privacy protection and message are needed. In order to provide them privacy, authentication, and conditional, non-repudiation features of the group signature scheme using a variety of security technologies are being studied. In this paper, and withdrawal of group members to avoid frequent VANET environment is suitable for vehicles produced by the group administrator for a private signing key to solve the key escrow problem of a group signature scheme is proposed. We proposed a message batch verification scheme using Bloom Filter that can verify multiple messages efficiently even for multiple communications with many vehicles.

Deodorization characteristics and removal rate of sulfur-containing odor have been investigated in the soil filter reactors packed with montmorillonites (Mont.), rice hulls(Rh.), and thickening-activated sludge(Ts.). And variation of pH and $SO_4{^{2-}}$ with the removal of malodorous sulfur compounds have been investigated together. As compared removal rate of montmorillonites between wet and dry condition for sulfur compounds through batch test, it showed that wet condition was better than dry one; removal ratio, as wet/dry, was $H_2S$ of 1.2 and $CH_3SH$ of 1.9, and decrease of pH and increase of $SO_4{^{2-}}$ concentration in the wet condition also showed to be larger than in dry condition. In continuous test for biological deodorization experiment, removal rate of sulfur compounds in reactor packed with Mont., Rh. and Ts, was more than 98 %, and the variation of static pressure was maintained stably under condition of SV $150h^{-1}$, LV 4.2 mm/sec and SV $200h^{-1}$, LV 5.6 mm/sec, and in reactor packed with Mont. and Rh., $H_2S$ was 76.4 % to 87.2 % and $CH_3SH$ was 87.8 % to 93.3 % under the same condition. From above results, it ascertained that it can obtain the high deodorization efficiency by inoculating thickening-activated sludge in soil filter using montmorillonites.
