탐색곡선법과 WASP-IV 모형을 이용한 국내 적정 전원구성 분석 (Generation Mix Analysis based on the Screening Curve and WASP-IV Techniques)

  • This paper tries to elicit an optimal generation mix of Korea. Two approaches, using the screening curve method and taking advantage of a generation expansion planning tool, WASP-IV, are applied in getting the mix. The data used in this study is based on the 5th basic plan for long-term electricity supply and demand. The Load Duration Curve, that is needed for applying Screening Curve Method(SCM), is made based on the load profile in 2010. In our using SCM, the nuclear plant's operation characteristic, carbon emission cost and spinning reserve are considered. In using WASP-IV to get the adequate generation mix, the base and target demand forecasts in the 5th basic plan are used and the carbon emission cost is also considered. In this paper, It introduces the domestic adequacy generation mix in 2024 though SCM and WASP-IV.

CFS 보강 콘크리트 기둥의 보강효과 산정을 위한 해석적 연구 (Numerical Study for the Estimation of Strengthening Effect of Concrete Column Strengthened with CFS)

  • The objectives of this study are to estimate the strengthening effect of concrete column strengthened with CFS and to provide basic guideline for the strengthening design with laminated composite materials. Analysis stress-strain model of laminated CFS is presented based on laminate theory. This model has been implemented in the algorithm of evaluating confinement effect of CFS. From results of the algorithm, stress-strain relationship of confined concrete is obtained. Using this stress-strain relationship, section analyses of circular and rectangular concrete columns strengthened with CFS are carried our, and load-moment interaction and load-ductility curves of the columns are obtained. To evaluate the strengthening effects of CFS, parametric study is also conducted for the angle of ply, thickness of CFS, shape of section, and reinforcement ratio. Based on this investigation, design recommendations and basic guidelines for the strengthening design with CFS are proposed.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the structural behavior of Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular Column connections using reinforced bar. The parameter of specimens is the area of each reinforced bar (SD40 : D13, D16, D19, D22, D25). The simple tensile experiment is conducted to 5 kinds of specimens. Estimating the load, displacement, and strain from each kind, we compared them to basic elementary type (Flange Type, Basic Type, DPA Type, DPB Type). In each specimen, We can get the yielding load obtained by the theoretical three failure modes which make it possible to predict the experimental results. Actually, through the comparison and analysis, we come to know that the experimental results and theoretical results are nealy the same. Further, we will exert to apply the connections using reinforced bar to construction of high-rise building.

Interactions in transversely isotropic new modified couple stress solid due to Hall current, rotation, inclined load with energy dissipation

  • This paper is concerned with the disturbances in a transversely isotropic new modified couple stress homogeneous thermoelastic rotating medium under the combined influence of Hall currents, magnetic fields, and mechanical sources represented by inclined loads. The application of Laplace and Fourier transform techniques are used for the derivation of analytical expressions for various physical quantities. As an application,the bounding surface is subjected to uniformly and linearly distributed force (mechanical force). Present model contains length scale parameters that can capture the size effects. Numerical inversion techniques has been used to provide insights into the system's behavior in the physical domain. The graphical representation of numerical simulated results has been presented to emphasize the impact of rotation and inclined line loads on the system, enhancing our understanding of the studied phenomena. Further research can extend this study to investigate additional complexities and real-world applications.

시료 중 잔류 항생제 분석 방법: I. 고상 시료 전처리 방법 (Determination of Antibiotic Residues: I. Extraction and Clean-up Methods for Solid Samples_A Review)

  • Korea is one of the countries with a large veterinary antibiotics market, although antimicrobial resistance in bacteria is becoming a serious issue in many countries. The Korean government started to take interest in estimating the effects of livestock manure on rivers and agricultural soils and in monitoring of heavy metals, organic pollutants and antibiotics in the ambient water and soil. In this paper, pre-treatment methods to separate the selected antibiotics from solid samples were reviewed. It is essential to select an efficient and appropriate procedure for pre-treatment due to the high proportion of proteins and organics in biosolid samples. Pre-treatment consists of extraction followed by clean-up. Initially, homogenized samples were extracted by sonication, mechanical agitation or pressurized liquid extraction with methanol/acetonitrile/water mixture under acidic/basic conditions depending on the compound. However, aminoglycosides and colistin were extracted with 5% trichloroacetic acid and HCl, respectively. Since the ${\beta}-lactams$ are easily decomposed in acidic and basic conditions, they were extracted in neutral pH. Filtration with a membrane (pore size, $0.2{\mu}m$) or solid phase extraction with HLB and methanol, as eluents, was normally applied for the clean-up. At least, three different pre-treatment procedures should be adopted to screen all the selected antibiotics in solid samples.

  • 건설사업 초기단계가 환경부하량의 절감 가능성에 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 감안한다면, 효과적인 의사결정을 지원할 수 있는 시스템을 초기에 구축하고 활용하는 것이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기본적인 설계 요인들을 고려하여 초기 설계단계에서 활용될 수 있는 환경부하량 산정 모델을 구축하였다. 이 모델은 인공신경망 기법을 활용하고 설계단계 업무가 진행됨에 따라 얻을 수 있는 가용정보 수준을 고려하여 기획단계 적용 모델(ANN-1)과 기본 설계단계 적용 모델(ANN-2)로 구분하여 환경부하량을 산정하도록 구축되었다. 모델의 실험결과 ANN-1, ANN-2모델의 절대평균오차율과 표준편차는 각각 11.19% / 5.30% 및 9.59% / 3.09%로 높은 신뢰성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 모델은 프로젝트 초기단계별 기초적인 가용정보만을 활용하여 신속하고 정확하게 환경부하량을 추정하고 합리적인 의사결정을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Two Stage Hybrid Optimization을 사용한 ESS 최적 운전 전략에 대한 연구 (A Study on ESS Optimal Operation Strategy Using Two Stage Hybrid Optimization)

  • This paper presents an analysis and the methodology of optimal operation strategy of the ESS(Energy Storage System) for reduce electricity charges. Electricity charges consist of a basic charge based on the contract capacity and energy charge according to the power usage. In order to use electrical energy at minimal charge, these two factors are required to be reduced at the same time. QP(Quadratic Programming) is appropriate for minimization of the basic charge and LP(Linear Programmin) is adequate to minimize the energy charge. However, the integer variable have to be introduced for modelling of different charge and discharge efficiency of ESS PCS(Power Conversion System), where MILP(Mixed Integer Linear Programming) can be used. In this case, the extent to which the peak load savings is accomplished should be assumed before the energy charge is minimized. So, to minimize the electricity charge exactly, optimization is sequentially performed in this paper, so-called the Two Stage Hybird optimization, where the extent to which the peak load savings is firstly accomplished through optimization of basic charge and then the optimization of energy charge is performed with different charge and discharge efficiency of ESS PCS. Finally, the proposed method is analyzed quantitatively with other optimization methods.

제주도의 특수일 전력수요에 대한 기온 민감도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis of Temperature on Special Day Electricity Demand in Jeju Island)

  • In this paper sensitivity analysis of temperature on special day electricity demand of land and Jeju Island is performed. The basic electricity demand per 3 hours is defined as electricity demand that reflects the GDP effect without the temperature influence. The temperature sensitivity per 3 hours is calculated through the relationship between special day electricity demand normalized to basic electricity demand and temperature. In the future, forecast error will be improved if the temperature sensitivity per 3 hours is applied to the special day load forecasting.

조정지댐에 유입하는 도시하천 오염특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pollution Property of Urban River Inflow in Regulating Reservoir)

  • This study focuses on analyzing the inflow characteristic of contaminants of city water that flows into a main water system like a reservoir, and intends to provide basic data which can be efficiently reflected on water quality management policy and decision making of a reservoir. The conclusion obtained from the analysis of the inflow of a main water system by analyzing the inflow property of city water contaminants is as follows. In the case of Chungju-cheon stream which is the city water, pollution load from the basic outflow is low when it rains, and with high load of basic outflow during the dry season, due to the discharge of pollutants from the city, the quality of water becomes worse. In the case of Chungju-cheon stream, average BOD is $4.53mg/{\ell}$ when it rains, and the contaminants increase and flow in about 7.8% compared to the average BOD during the average droughty season. The average SS concentration in water is $798.67mg/{\ell}$ and increased 97.2% compared to the average droughty season.

스터드 커넥터로 연결된 H형강보의 인장하중 전달성능 (Tensile Load Transmission Capacity of H-shaped Beam by Stud Connectors)

  • 본 실험의 목적은 H형강보에 작용하는 매달림 하중 중 연직하중인 인장하중을 그 대상으로 구조설계시 적용되는 설계하중에 대하여 인장하중이 스터드 커넥터를 통하여 슬래브에 전달되는 하중전달 경로와 그 성능을 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 스터드 커넥터의 기초실험을 실시하고 2개의 실대형 시험체를 제작하여 인장하중에 대한 전달성능을 파악하였다. 실험의 변수로는 H형강보의 크기가 적용되었다. 인장하중 가력실험결과 현행 강구조계산기준을 따라 설계하면 스터드 커넥터에 의한 H형강보의 인장하중의 전달성능은 설계하중을 만족하고 있음을 확인하였다.
