Increased cumulative running times of railroad vehicle brings out such degradation as wear and fatigue. It doesn't adapt corrective maintenance which repairs a poor part after a trouble but use preventive maintenance which fixes a bad part before a trouble. There were a few researches for preventive maintenance such as inspect affairs and facilities management. They couldn't estimate the operation reliability on railroad vehicle. Therefore, this study proposes the preventive maintenance procedure that predict repair period of end beam fur uncovered freight car using reliability function and instantaneous failure rate on the basis of fatigue test and load history data.

The guidance core is a principal part installed between the ink and the pen nib for the function of supplying ink to paper with reqularity. The current measurement of this product, Guidance core, in service is done by on operator with a micrometer, which could result in the decrease of productivity and working efficiency as well as causing errors. In this study, the existing measurement of the dialmeter of the Guidance core in the centerless grinding process is changed to the inprocessor measurement which enables consecutive measurement during the production of the Guidance core, and this system is also developed to work properly under bad circumstances and to have superior reliance and operational efficiency.

The patient who has DM, Hypertension, Arrithemia, Arteral fibrillation, Heart failure attacted cerebral infartion and he was took treatment by chungpesagan-tang and mannitol at the same time for 4 days and only chungpesagan-tang for 3 days. General condition improved but at seventh day cold sweating and hypothermia appeared. So we take chest x-ray. The result is fleural effusion. Chungpesagan-tang is the method of Purgative action so heart function is injured in circulation. In the results we consider that the medication of chungpesagan-tang and mannitol at the same time is bad influence on heart and induce ftueral effusion.

This article describes an estimate method of the spark plug gap by measuring breakdown voltage. Breakdown voltage is the function of spark plug gap, pressure, temperature and humidify. However. It is dominated mainly by the spark plug gap. This technique is applied to in-line process test of the spark plug gap in automobile engine production. Breakdown voltage of normal spark plugs slightly scatters in ordinary conditions and if there is dust or burr in the gap, breakdown voltage gets lower. This technique saves repairing time for bad spark plug and attributes to improve the quality of automobile engine.

Recently, the research of PM (Preventive Maintenance) method on the RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance) of the system equipment is being actively advanced for a few years. For the most of the current power equipment maintenance, the state of the equipment after maintenance is assumed to be becoming 'as good as new ones' state. However, the state of the power equipment is maintained like the states of the between 'as good as new ones' and 'as bad as old ones' by imperfect maintenance that implies the life decrease of the equipment by frequent breakdown, the error of maintenance process, and so on. So, the Maintenance method considering the real case has to reflect Imperfect maintenance than perfect maintenance. This paper suggests the Preventive Maintenance method by using Quasi - Renewal Theory for the gas turbine equipment as deliberating the imperfect maintenance for the real cases.

The sleeplessness in childhood is quite different from that in adulthood in terms of causes, developmental process, and treatment. Sleep behavior in childhood is strongly influenced by parental personality and familial and cultural background. In understanding and management of sleeplessness of children, it is especially important to understand the separation anxiety and the ways of its management in bedtime because bedtime routine with children one of separation process from parents. Co-sleeping, parental intervention, transional object and bedtime routines can be appeared in order to reduce the anxiety from bedtime separation. Causes of sleeplessness in infant and toddler are bad sleep-onset association, nocturnal drinking, colic, and food allergy. In preschool and school aged children, limit-setting sleep problem and fears and nightmare can be causes of sleeplessness. When good sleep environment and habits are established sound sleep and more mature personality can be developed.

The purpose of this study was to examine emotional and behavioral problems of children from broken families. The subjects of the study were 200(100girls, 100boys) 5th and 6th grade children from P city in Kyuug-gi area. The main results were as follows; First, children from broken families showed some behavior problems such as aggressiveness, anxiety, developmental disorder, absences from school, bad-habits and attention-seeking behaviors. The parenting behaviors of broken families were characterized as negative, rejective, and inconsistent behaviors. Second, emotional and behavioral problems of children from broken families varied as a function of child sex, care giver, reason of loss and parenting.

In this paper, an effective control scheme of a single phase UPS inverter is proposed to have no steady state error of the output voltage and the fast response for the load request. The cosine wave tranfer function is proposed to control the output voltage. This controller clearly removes errors of magnitude and phase both in the steady state. On the other hand, a current controller is proposed to reduce the transient time of the voltage control and to improve the bad distorted factor of the output voltage waveform by the load fluctuation and the presences of nonlinear parameters in the plant. The current controller is designed parallel to the voltage controller and performs separately from it.

Hydrotherapy is aimed at evoking short-term and long-term adaptation-mechanisms of patients. This means that a patient should be able to adapt to the changed environment. both mentally and physically. Hydrotherapy is widely used to treat patients with generalised rheumatic discases. Hydrotherapy may be applied as a single therapy. in combination with other therapeutic interventions or as one pan of a complex series of stimuli as e.g. during spa therapy. A treatment regimen in water is constructed according to the same rules as dry land exercise. However, methods specifically designed or adjusted for hydrotherapy can be used. The Halliwick is suitale in particular to facilitate arthrokinetic reactions as a part of training postural stability. The Bad Ragaz Ring is a hydortherapy modification of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Patterns of arms. logs and trunk are used to increase muscle function and flexibility. Other techniques are applicable in water too: mobilization and manipulation techniques of the joints can be integrated in hydrotherapeutic methods. The continuous research is needed for many interesting issues of hydrotherapy in new future.

New type of the sewer drainage has been developed to overcome present sewer drainage's shortcoming. This system has the function of drainage, sewerage, reverse flow prevention, and harmful insect and smell prevention. Numerical simulation has been carried out in order to minimize the troubles that can be happened in the process of manufacture and installation process. This sewer drainage system for harmful insect and smell prevention intercepts pollution source, and then it prohibit second pollution. Harmful insect cannot go in and out in this system. Also, this system can reduce the damage of flooded districts due to heavy rain because it is impossible to flow backward from sewer drainage.
