육효의 의학적 응용 (Study on Medical Application of Divination of Six Yinyang-strokes)

  • In ancient times, the society was unity of church and state and this social leader took medical treatment, too. As he ruled over a people with a Chinese classic on divination, many oriental doctors have considered that the medicine and a Chinese classic on divination(周易) have same origine, and have used it. The divination of six yinyang-strokes(六爻) must be made up of some established rules, for example, division of fifty sticks(葉蓍法), use of three coins(擲錢法), use of numbering sticks and number of time(時間作卦法). six yinyang-strokes is one trigram. As we divine good or bad luck through investigation of six yinyang-strokes, we can know good or bad luck of patient's diseases and cares. A purpose of divination is called use-spirit(用神), a spirit to weaken use-spirit is called dislike-spirit (忌神), and a spirit to help use-spirit is called pleasure-spirit(喜神). As use-spirit is a state of disease in divination of disease and patient, use-spirit is patient and dislike-spirit is disease. If supports of use-spirit are more than supports of dislike, it's good luck, but if not, it's bad luck. As use-spirit is a prognosis of disease in divination of care, use-spirit is patient, dislike-spirit is a state of disease, and pleasure-spirit are medicine and doctor. we inspect condition of patient with good or bad luck of use-spirit, state of disease with good or bad luck of dislike-spirit, and medicine with good or bad luck of pleasure-spirit. Finally, we take a bird's-eye-view of the balance of them and decide on course of action.

ELiSyR: Efficient, Lightweight and Sybil-Resilient File Search in P2P Networks

  • Peer-to-peer (P2P) networks consume the most bandwidth in the current Internet and file sharing accounts for the majority of the P2P traffic. Thus it is important for a P2P file sharing application to be efficient in bandwidth consumption. Bandwidth consumption as much as downloaded file sizes is inevitable, but those in file search and bad downloads, e.g. wrong, corrupted, or malicious file downloads, are overheads. In this paper, we target to reduce these overheads even in the presence of high volume of malicious users and their bad files. Sybil attacks are the example of such hostile environment. Sybil attacker creates a large number of identities (Sybil nodes) and unfairly influences the system. When a large portion of the system is subverted, either in terms of the number of users or the number of files shared in the system, the overheads due to the bad downloads rapidly increase. We propose ELiSyR, a file search protocol that can tolerate such a hostile environment. ELiSyR uses social networks for P2P file search and finds benign files in 71% of searches even when more than half of the users are malicious. Furthermore, ELiSyR provides similar success with less bandwidth than other general efforts against Sybil attacks. We compare our algorithm to SybilGuard, SybilLimit and EigenTrust in terms of bandwidth consumption and the likelihood of bad downloads. Our algorithm shows lower bandwidth consumption, similar chances of bad downloads and fairer distribution of computation loads than these general efforts. In return, our algorithm takes more rounds of search than them. However the time required for search is usually much less than the time required for downloads, so the delay in search is justifiable compared to the cost of bad downloads and subsequent re-search and downloads.

남성 판매사원의 정장스타일에 대한 시각적 평가 (Visual Evaluation about Formal Style of Salesmen)

  • This study provides the basis far salesman to present formal style in suggesting Good-Bad formal style as well as in examining a meaning structure and valuation differences of visual valuation. Stimulus pictures has been chosen consequently 76 pieces through the preliminary inquiry who are working at department store, franchise salesman, car salesman, insurance staff and other salesmen. The tool for visual valuations about suit style is composed of 7 points of Likert type by making 21 questionnaires from the preliminary study. Collecting data is 512 pieces are used to analyse. The duration to collect data was from August 5th to 20th in 2004 and SPSS statistics package program has been used. At first, main factors according to the visual valuation of formal style are Attractiveness, Having abilities, Uncomfortableness. In second, Good formal style shows more attractive and looks having more abilities than Bad formal style and less uncomfortable. In third, in the relations of Good-Bad formal style and demographics, there is meaningful differences according to gender, age, job, salary. In fourth, in the relations of a purchase purpose and visual valuations of formal style, for Good-Bad valuation, the first impression is the most important factor and it is likely to be related to the purchase purpose, on the other hand, the purchase purpose has related to impression the most. It has presented that Good-Bad valuation and purchase purpose have an influence on the factor of Attractiveness.

컬러와 다중 임계값 기반 영상 분할 기법을 통한 스테레오 매칭의 성능 향상 (Performance Improvement of Stereo Matching by Image Segmentation based on Color and Multi-threshold)

  • 본 논문에서는 스테레오 매칭 시 발생하는 신뢰도가 낮은 부분을 컬러와 명도의 다중 임계값에 기반한 영상 분할 기법을 통해 보정하는 방법을 제안한다. 스테레오 매칭은 좌측 영상 위의 한 점과 대응하는 점을 우측 영상에서 찾는 과정이며, 이를 통해 스테레오 영상 내에서 거리 정보를 복원할 수 있다. 하지만 영상 내 특징이 불분명한 부분의 경우, 스테레오 매칭의 신뢰도가 낮기 때문에 Bad Pixel이 발생하게 된다. 제안하는 방법에서는 Bad Pixel을 보정하기 위해서 각 픽셀의 연관성을 고려하고자 한다. 일반적으로 동일한 물체는 비슷한 색상과 명도를 가진다. 따라서 컬러와 명도의 다중 임계값에 의해 각각 분할된 영역을 통해 영역 간의 연관성을 고려하여, 동일한 물체로 판단되는 부분을 재분할한다. 이후 분할된 픽셀들의 관계 정보에 따라 디스패리티 맵의 Bad Pixel을 보정하였다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 방법을 통해 기존 방법의 결과에서 Bad Pixel이 28% 감소함을 확인하였다.

운 경험과 손 씻기의 상호작용이 다양성 추구 행동에 미치는 효과 (The Interaction Effect of Luck Experience and Hand Washing on Variety Seeking Behavior)

  • 기존의 선행연구들에서 사람들의 다양성 추구행동에 미치는 요인들에 많은 관심을 가져왔음에도 불구하고, 행운과 불운 그리고 체화된 인지의 상호작용이 다양성 추구행동에 미치는 효과에 관한 연구는 없었다. 행운과 불운의 경험은 소비자의 정보처리에 영향을 미치며, 손 씻기에 의한 체화된 인지는 행운 불운의 경험을 역전시키는 요인으로 두 요인이 다양성 추구행동에 미치는 효과를 이해하는 것은 소비자의 선택과 제품구매를 포함한 전반적인 소비자 행동연구에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 운 경험 (행운 vs. 불운)과 손 씻기 여부 (있음 vs. 없음)의 상호작용이 다양성 추구행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 참가자들은 행운과 불운을 경험한 후, 손을 씻거나, 씻지 않았고, 떠먹는 요구르트의 맛을 얼마나 다양하게 선택하는지에 대한 과제를 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 운 점화와 손 씻기의 상호작용 효과가 발견되었다. 구체적으로, 행운 조건의 경우, 손을 씻은 참가자와 손을 씻지 않은 참가자의 다양성 추구 행동에는 차이가 없었다. 반면에 불운 조건에서는 손을 씻은 참가자가 손을 씻지 않은 참가자보다 다양성 추구 행동이 더 높게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 소비자심리와 마케팅 분야에 폭넓은 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Vitamin C Induces Apoptosis in Human Colon Cancer Cell Line, HCT-8 Via the Modulation of Calcium Influx in Endoplasmic Reticulum and the Dissociation of Bad from 14-3-$3{\beta}$

  • It has been reported that vitamin C plays an effective role in the treatment and prevention of cancer, but its specific mechanisms are still largely unknown. The incidence of colon cancer is now increasing in Korea. Therefore, we have examined here the effect of vitamin C on the induction of the apoptosis on colon cancer and its related mechanisms. We have found that remarkable increase of the apoptosis and the calcium influx in endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in human colon cancer cell line, HCT-8. However, vitamin C-induced apoptosis was effectively inhibited by the pre-treatment of BAPTA-AM (1,2-bis(o-aminophenoxy) ethane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid), which is well-known as a calcium specific chelator. During the apoptosis, we found the increase of the translocation of Bad to mitochondria from cytosol, after releasing from 14-3-$3{\beta}$. In this process, the expression of Bax, a well-known pro-apoptotic protein, was also increased. Taken together, vitamin C induces apoptosis of colon cancer cell line, HCT-8 through the increase of 1) the calcium influx in endoplasmic reticulum (ER), 2) the translocation of Bad to mitochondria, and 3) the expression of Bax.

발레 삐루엣 동작 수행정도에 따른 각도, 중심변인 및 근활동 분석 (Analysis for Angle, Center of Mass and Muscle Activity on Good and Bad Motion of the Pirouette in Ballet)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify major factors on pirouette in ballet, and especially angle, Center of Mass(CM) & muscle activity aspects. The data were collected by using Motion Analysis System with 12 cameras to analyze kinematic variables with 120 Hz and Electromyography(EMG; 4,000 Hz) & Force Platform(1,000 Hz) to analyze kinetic variables. The subjects of this study were 8 female ballet dancers. The results as follow. First of all, full extension of knee joint and full plantar flexion of ankle joint appeared at the similar point. Secondly, in the rotational phase, total movement of segments in Good motion is smaller than that of Bad motion(in Good motion, head movement 2.70 cm, right shoulder movement 0.72 cm, left shoulder 4.26 cm, left wrist 17.4 mm smaller than Bad motion). Third, CoP distance of Good motion is 11.76 mm, and CoP distance of Bad motion is 11.76 mm, so Good motion is 5.98 mm smaller). Lastly, Pirouette need more retus femur activity than gastrocnemius activity in extention phase and rotation phase of support leg.

배드 스멜 코드 추출을 위한 코드 가시화 프로세스 구축 (Building a Code Visualization Process to Extract Bad Smell Codes)

  • 오늘날 많은 영역에서 소프트웨어의 사용 범위가 넓어짐에 따라 좋은 소프트웨어 (Good Software)의 개발은 매우 중요하다. 하지만 현실은 소프트웨어 개발의 모든 단계에서 요구사항의 변경이 자주 발생한다. 또한 빈번한 변경으로 인해 설계 복잡성이 증가하여 원래의 설계 목표보다 소프트웨어 품질이 저하될 수 있다. 이러한 문제 해결을 위해, 배드 스멜(Bad Smell) 코드 추출을 위한 코드 가시화 프로세스를 제안한다. 이 방법은 마틴 파울러의 배드 스멜을 기반으로 소스 코드를 식별하여 리팩토링 영역을 가시화 한다. 잦은 요구사항의 변경에도 리팩토링을 통한 소프트웨어의 설계 개선을 기대한다.

심층 신경망모형을 사용한 미세먼지 PM10의 예측 (Prediction of fine dust PM10 using a deep neural network model)

  • 본 연구에서는 미세먼지 $PM_{10}$의 4가지 분류 등급인 '좋음, 보통, 나쁨, 매우 나쁨' 그리고 2가지 분류 등급인 '좋음 혹은 보통, 나쁨 혹은 매우 나쁨'을 예측하기 위해서 심층 신경망모형을 사용하였다. 2010년부터 2015년까지 국내 6개 대도시 지역에서 관측한 일별 미세먼지 데이터에 대하여 기존 분류기법인 신경망모형, 다항 로지스틱 회귀모형, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest을 적용했을 때에 비해서 심층 신경망모형의 정확도는 더 높아졌다.
