CFD에 의한 2차원 후향계단에서의 재부착 유동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Flow Characteristics of Two-Dimensional Backward-Facing Step by CFD)

  • The present study is aimed to investigate flow characteristics of two-dimensional backward-fac-ing step by numerical approach. A convection conservation difference scheme based upon SOLA algorithm is used for the solution of the two-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations to simulate the laminar transitional and trubulent flow conditions at which the experimental data can be available for the backlward-facing step. The twenty kinds of reynolds number are used for the calculations. In an effort to demonstrate that the reported solutions are dependent on the mesh refinement computations are performed on seven different meshes of uniformly increasing refinement. also to investigate the result of inflow dependence two kinds of the inflow profile are chosen for the laminar flow. Irregular grid is adopted to minimize the errors on the satis-faction fo the discretized continuity. As criterion of benchmarking the result of numerical simula-tion reattachment lengthis used for the selected Reynolds numbers. The results of the present study prove the fact that the numerical predictions agree well with the experimental data and the flow characteristics are shown at the backward-facing step.

  • 본 논문은 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 FF-PID 제어 시스템 구현에 관한 연구이다. 영상의 인식은 신경망 역전파를 사용하여 학습시킨다. FF-PID 제어기는 신경망의 목표치에 대한 출력층 오차값을 제어값으로 사용하여 이동물체의 응답특성을 향상시킨다. 실험결과, 시스템의 응답시간은 약 2.7(sec)였으며, 일반적인 차영상기법에 비하여 약 15% 목표치 응답이 향상되어, 효과적인 이동물체의 제어가 가능하였다.

  • 호모토피 알고리즘은 비선형성이 강하거나 다수의 최적해가 존재하는 비선형 최적제어 문제에서 점진적으로 비선형 항으로 고려하게 해줌으로써 강건하게 전역의 최적해를 구할 수 있는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 초기 추정치에 둔감한 SBS 알고리즘과 호모토피 알고리즘을 결합한 비선형 최적제어 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 이러한 접근방식은 저추력 궤적최적화 문제와 같이 비선형성이 강한 문제의 최적해를 구하는데 효과적이다. 또한, 비선형성이 강한 문제들은 종종 다수 국소 해가 존재하게 되는데, 이러한 경우에 SBS-호모토피 방법은 점진적으로 전역해를 찾는 것을 가능하게 한다.

  • This paper is concerned with the analysis of the forming load characteristics of a forward-backward can extrusion process. The analysis in this paper is extended to the selection of press frame capacity for producing efficiently final product at low cost. The possible extrusion processes to shape a forward-backward can part with different outer diameters are categorized to investigate quantitatively the forming load, forming energy and maximum pressure exerted on the die-material interface. The categorized processes are composed of combined and/or some basic extrusion processes. After the analysis of the forming load characteristics, the frame capacity of press suitable for a selected process could be determined along with securing the load capacity and with considering productivity. In addition, it is also suggested that different load capacities be selected for different dimensions of a part such as the wall thickness in forward direction. The work in this paper could be a good reference for analysis of complex extrusion and selection of proper frame capacity of press to achieve low production cost and thus high productivity.

6.75L급 소형 AA6061 라이너의 후방압출 및 노우징 공정에 관한 해석적 연구 (Numerical Evaluation of Backward Extrusion and Head Nosing for Producing a 6.75L Small Seamless AA6061 Liner)

  • As a pressure vessel, a small seamless aluminum liner with inner volume of about 6.75L is made from an initial billet material of AA6061-O. To produce the aluminum liner, warm forging including backward extrusion and head nosing was numerically simulated using a billet initially pre-heated to about $480^{\circ}C$. Compression tests on the billet material were performed at various temperatures and strain rates, and the measured mechanical properties were used in the numerical simulations. For the backward extrusion and the head nosing, the tool geometries were designed based on the desired configuration of the aluminum liner. Furthermore, the structural integrity of the tooling was evaluated to ensure adequate tool life. The seamless aluminum liner has an endurance limit of about 1.47MPa ($15Kg_f/cm^2$), estimated based on the required inner pressure. The results confirm that the small seamless aluminum liner of AA6061-O can be successfully made by using the two stage warm forging procedures without any bursting failures.

수학 교과에서의 수행과제를 활용한 수업 방안 탐색 -백워드 이론을 기반으로- (An Investigation on the Mathematical Instruction Utilizing Performance Tasks according to the Backward Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of mathematical instruction through performance task activities based on the The Backward Design, which was suggested at first by Wiggins & McTighe in 1998. The Design deals with a performance assessment task involving the whole objective and its entire content of a lesson. Based on the Backward Design, this study established the mathematical instructional materials, which deal with the concept of 'the sector' taught in middle school, with one large performance task including three small tasks. It is important that in the lesson students be guided to achieve the several learning goals by themselves through reasoning activities. For this purpose, a formal interview was carried out by the subject of three middle school mathematics teachers. As a result, in order to implement the instruction utilizing the performance tasks more efficiently in future, it is required that a large performance task should be selected or developed including the content or problem contexts to be relevant with the real-life challenging situations. In addition, to make students enhance reasoning skills, it is strongly requested that the tasks including the utilization of supplementary materials such as technological devices or manipulatives be dealt with in a lesson.

  • As today's business environment has become more and more competitive, forward as well as backward flows of products among members belonging to a supply chain have been increased. The backward flows of products, which are common in most industries, result from increasing amount of products that are returned, recalled, or need to be repaired. Effective management for these backward flows of products has become an important issue for businesses because of opportunities for simultaneously enhancing profitability and customer satisfaction from returned products. Since third party logistics service providers (3PLs) are playing an important role in reverse logistics operations, the 3PLs should perform two simultaneous logistics operations for a number of different clients who want to improve their logistics operations for both forward and reverse flows. In this case, distribution networks have been independently designed with respect to either forward or backward flows so far. This paper proposes a mixed integer programming model for the design of network integrating both forward and reverse logistics. Since this network design problem belongs to a class of NP-hard problems, we present an efficient heuristic based on Lagrangean relaxation and apply it to numerical examples to test the validity of proposed heuristic.

발의 위치가 편마비 환자의 의자에서 일어서기에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Varying Foot Placement on Sit-to-stand in Patients with Hemiplegia)

  • The patients with hemiplegia show different body weight distribution as compared to normal subjects. These patients load their body weight more on sound leg than affected leg. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of foot placement under three conditions: forward, intermediate, and backward placement, on body weight distribution and time needed to rise while assuming sit-to-stand. Fourteen patients with hemiplegia participated in the study. Their body weight distributions during sit-to-stand under the three different conditions were measured by a limb loader and time needed to rise was measured by a stopwatch. The data were analysed by the repeated measure of one-way ANOVA. Statistical Analysis demonstrated that body weight distribution was less asymmetric in backward foot placement. The difference of body weight bearing rate between sound leg and affected leg was significantly decreased as foot placement moved from forward to backward. These results show that backward foot placement during sit-to-stand make patient with henuplegia distribute their body weight more evenly on the lower extremity.

후방압출 공정에서 금형의 반경반향 변형량을 통한 제품정밀도에 관한 연구 (Study on Accuracy of Product by Radial Deformation of Die in Backward Extrusion)

  • The die for cold forging gets a very high axial load and radial pressure during processing and hence deforms considerably in the radial direction. This radial deformation of die becomes a important factor influencing the dimensional accuracy of a product. In order to obtain the product with highly accurate dimension, therefore, it is essential to acquire some information on elastic deformation of the die and the product. The study has been performed for the relation of the deformation between the die and the product in backward extrusion. The strain of the die has been given by the simple experiment using the strain gauges attached to the outer surface of the die. Also the history of the deformation of the die and the product has been given by the experiment and Lames' formula. The results has been compared with the previous another method. The study has given useful results for the deformation history of the die and the product through the experiment and Lame's formula in backward extrusion, which can be applied in the die design for the product with accurate dimension.

키네시오 테이핑을 병행한 후방보행훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 하지 근력 및 보행에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the kinesio taping with backward gait training on muscle strength of lower extremity and gait ability in post stroke patients)

  • Purpose: The objective of the present study was to examine the effects of Kinesio taping with backward walking training (KTBW) on muscle strength of lower extremity and gait ability in post-stroke patients. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Method: Participants included 27 post stroke patients and were randomly distributed into two groups: KTBW group received Kinesio taping with backward training (n=13), control group receive general physical therapy (n=14). Intervention was given five times a week, a total of four weeks. The subjects evaluated the muscle strength test and walking ability before and 4 weeks after the experiment. Muslce strength of lower extremity was measured by digital manual muscle test. Gait ability was measured by G-walk. Result: After training, the KTBW group showed significant improvement in muscle strength of the lower extremity compared to the control group (p<0.05). KTBW group showed significant improvement in gait ability compared to the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: These finding show the benefits of the Kinesio taping with backward walking training on the muscle strength of lower extremity and gait ability in post stroke patients.
