Personal health and environment is being aimed recently to show increase in preferences of eco-friendly cosmetics with longing of clean nature, and environment on pure plant ingredients. This study has the purpose of inquiring components and types of magazine advertisement in eco-friendly cosmetics and to analyze the model characteristics. The standards of analysis were classified as product, face, background, article, arrangement of colors, image, and eco-friendly factors. The results of this study are as follow. First, in inquiring the general characteristics of the magazine advertisement in eco-friendly cosmetics, the results were shown as the order of attention on product, face, background, article, arrangement of colors, image and eco-friendly factors. Second, in inquiring the components and types of magazine advertisement in eco-friendly cosmetics, the results showed an attentive difference in product, face, background, article, arrangement of colors and eco-friendly factors. Third, in inquiring relationships of model characteristics between domestic and foreign eco-friendly cosmetics, the results showed lots of domestic cosmetics advertising direct advertising, product type emerged was a lot of character type emerged. International cosmetics advertising, indirect advertising and highlighting the many articles that appeared prominently type is characterized.

The aim of this study is to develop a quantified water loss Index to evaluate and manage leakage scientifically for the reduction of non-revenue water in water distribution systems. For the purpose, unavoidable background leakage suggested from UK water industry and IWA, and allowable water leakage in accord with the concept of allowable water loss are proposed by analyzing the inflow into two study water districts and the short-term water use of each customer in the districts. The study distribution areas are selected among the metered districts with good maintenance of leakage after improvement activities in Nonsan, medium sized city in Korea. Estimation models of allowable leakage are developed by metering and analyzing the minimum night flow at residential and commercial areas in the city. In the results of the investigation, it is estimated that background night flow in residential area was larger than that of commercial area where the types of business shows small water use characteristics. Meanwhile, night flow and background water loss on internal plumbing systems show great differences for each district which is influenced much by the water use characteristics and facilities scale. Based on metering water use data in various districts, leakage management criteria can be established under the consideration of domestic conditions in Korea by analyzing separated real water use and background leakage and it is possible to apply into presentation of optimal leakage level and reasonable time for working activities for leakage reduction.

최근 학제 간 융합이 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 예술과 기술의 학제 간 연구는 매우 흥미로운 주제이다. E.A.T.는 1966년 뉴욕에서 예술가와 공학자에 의해 설립되었다. 본 연구는 E.A.T. 사례를 중심으로 예술과 기술이 융합될 수 있었던 시대적 배경과 E.A.T.의 작품 특성을 분석하였다. 시대적 배경에 대한 분석결과 5가지 요인들이 E.A.T.가 조직되고 발전되는 데 있어 영향을 미쳤음을 발견하였다. 경제적 요인, 예술적 요인, 기술적 요인, 교육적 요인, 그리고 후원 문화적 요인이 예술과 기술의 융합에 영향을 미쳤다. 예술가와 공학자가 협업한 E.A.T. 작품은 일반적으로 세 가지 특성을 가지고 있었다. 다양한 분야를 아우르는 융합성, 여러 가지 감각을 활용하는 다감각성, 그리고 환경과 인간에 대한 상호작용성이 E.A.T. 작품에 나타났다. 본 연구는 예술적 표현의 한계를 극복하고 새로운 기술을 개발하고자 하는 예술가와 공학자 모두에게 의미 있는 함의를 제공한다.

본 연구는 창업 여성CEO들을 대상으로 여성CEO의 특성과 경영성과 사이에는 어떤 상관성이 있는지에 대하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 창업 여성CEO의 특성과 역량을 중심으로 하여 선행연구와 기존 문헌을 토대로 여성CEO의 특성요인으로서 경력 특성, 행위적 특성, 역량 특성 등 결정요인을 도출하고 이들 요인과 경영성과와의 관계에 대한 연구모형 과 가설을 설정하고 이를 실증적으로 분석, 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업 여성CEO의 경력 특성과 경영성과간의 관계를 검증한 회귀분석 결과에서는 전공 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 직장 또는 창업경험 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창업 여성CEO의 행위적 특성과 경영성과 사이에서는 창업동기 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 실패 가능성이나 위험에 대한 대처 노력 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창업 여성CEO의 역량 특성과 경영성과에서는 관리적 역량 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 기업가적 역량 요인과 기술적 역량 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

In a modern mass society, a theme park satisfies a consumer's desire of being meaningful in such an imaginary space, which is far beyond the real life. The introductory area of the theme park is a boundary between th real and the imaginary spaces and a fundamental spac of realizing the introductory imaginary space. The objective of this study is to suggest an appropriate method of design application by analyzing the characteristics of the theme park with an example, a theoretical background is first presented by examining the characteristics of the introductory are of the theme park. Than, as an example that reflects well its characteristics, 'Global fair' of the Everland is selected and analyzed based on the developed theoretical background.

The address discharge characteristics by the various scan-low and common-bias voltages are investigated based on measured address discharge time lags and $V_t$ close-curve analysis. The scan-low voltages are changed under the same voltage difference between the X and Y electrodes during an address period. As the voltage difference between the scan and address electrodes is increased during an address period, the address discharge time lag is shortened but the background luminance is increased. It is found that the improved address discharge characteristics is caused by the effect of the higher external applied voltage during an address period than the accumulated wall charges during a reset period and the high background luminance can be prevented by applying an address-bias voltage during a rising-ramp period and low reset voltage.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between CIO's characteristics and CIO's role. The CIO's characteristics include CEO/CIO relationship, CIO's power in his/her organization, hire type of CIO, and career background of CIO. The results of this study are as follows: part of the CIO's characteristics has a positive relationship with the CIO's role. In other words, the CIO's role is influenced by the CEO/CIO relationship, the CIO's power, and the hire type of CIO. However, the relationship between the career background of the CIO and the CIO's role is not statistically significant.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the middle-aged housewive's background characteristics influencing on the preference of elderly housing, depending on four aging-situations. The characteristics of the elderly housing dealt in thes study were geographical location. specially planned feature for the elderly, house type, the size of housing, housemate, the distance from the living quarter of their children, and whether they want to live in the rental house. The subject were 526 middle-aged housewives from middle-income householde living in the capital area. Questionnaires were sent through mail to the householde which tesponded positively on the information brochure about this study sent before. The characteristics of the elderly housing which perferred to was influenced by their age and socio-economic status, such as schooling, job, income, and the size of housing. This result suggests that it must be considered to develop various types of the elderly housing depending on socio-economic status.

The Purpose of this study is to find out differences among the leader's traits on the hierarchy of Nurse managers in Nurse system of the hospital. In this study 152 managers over head nurse working in 6 University hospitals and 5 general hospitals were selected and the questionary paper answered by them was collected from 1st to 30th in September in 1997. The measuring instrument used in this study is the one integrated and classified by Stogdill (1981), which nurse professor and 2 students of the master's course translated and modified with myself. And its validity was verified through making a test on 130 nurses. The measuring instrument used in this study is made up of 4 items about physical characteristics, 3 items about social background, 4 items about intelligence and ability, 17 items about personaity, 6 items about task-related characteristics, 9 items about social characteristics and 8 items about general background in the triats of leader. And this instrument is made to be marked using five point Likert type. It's reliability is Cronbach's Alpha =.93. The data for study were analyzed through SPSS/PC+ The result of this study are as follows: 1. The order in importantly perceptible degree of the leader's traits showed like these: the intelligence and ability (M=4.683), the task-related characteristics (M=4.605), the personality (M=4.39), the social characteristics (M=4.327), the social back-ground (M=4.056), the physical characteristics (M=3.601). 2. The order in degree to percept the importance of 44 detailed items of the leader's traits showed like these: the judgement and decisiveness (M=4.967), the sense of responsibility (M=4.904), the activity and energy (M=4.796), the self-confidence (M=4.776), the creativity (M=4.748), the intelligence (M=4.743), the responsibility in the pursuit of objectives (M=4.743), the enthusiasm (M=4.717), the objectivity (M=4.704), the moral sense and ethical conduct (M=4.704), the ability to enlist cooperation (M=4.694), the strength of conviction (M =4.678), the enterprise (M=4.691), the administrative ability (M=4.678) and the cooperativeness (M=4.638) 3. As the result of analyzing the leader's trait differences on the hierarchy of nurse managers in six factors of the leader's traits, the social background showed the meaningful differences(F=4.983, P=0.008). 4. As the result of analyzing the leader's traits defferences made from the upper first to 15th rank among the detailed items of the leader's trait factors on the heirarchy of nurse managers, the meaningful defferences appeared in the following items: the objectivity(F=3.413, P=0.033), the creativity (F=3.550, P=0.031), the sense of responsibility(F=3.345, P=0.049), and the administrative ability (F=3.363, P=0.037). 5. As the result of analyzing the leader's trait factors in general background, only the social background of 6 leader's trait factors showed the meaningful differences according to the working place (F=4.057, P=0.008). The study shows that we should consider the above leader's trait factors in selecting nurse managers and that we should develop the educational program for hierarchy of nurse managers urgently.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate major factors influencing adoption of smartphone to promote its use by older adults. Background: Despite increasing proportion of elderly people and elderly market, the proportion of elderly smartphone user is still relatively small compared to whole smartphone users. Thus, we need to find out major factors influencing adoption of smartphone to increase proportion of elderly smartphone users. Method: Seven major factors were extracted from 36 survey questions using factor analysis. Regression analysis was also applied to determine specific factors affecting intention of use based on user versus non-user of smartphone, age, gender, and educational background. Results: As results of factor analysis and regression analysis, major factors influencing adoption of smartphone for elderly users were significantly different according to gender, age, educational background based on smartphone users or non-users. Conclusion: The result of this study identified major factors influencing adoption of smartphone for the elderly and provided basic information related to adoption of smartphone according to elderly people's characteristics. Consequently, we can expect to reduce the information gap and to improve quality of life for the elderly. Application: The development and marketing strategy could be applied differently based on the factors influencing adoption of smartphone. It is also possible to develop a prediction model for smartphone adoption according to elderly users' characteristics.
