중요도-수행도 분석을 이용한 대학 기숙사 급식소의 서비스 품질 속성에 대한 고객 인식분석 (Customer Perception Levels towards Service Quality Attributes of University Residence Hall Foodservice by Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze university students' perception of service quality attributes in residence hall foodservice. Questionnaires were hand delivered to 1,210 university students residing in a residence hall. A total of 1,011 was usable, resulting in an 83.6% response rate. The survey was conducted between October, 1998 and May, 1999. A statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS/Win 6.12 for Descriptive Analysis, $X^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, Spearman Correlation, and Common factor Analysis, and Importance- Performance Analysis(IPA) was completed. Significant negative correlations between importance and performance were found with 'abundance of foods'(p < 0.001), 'discontent handling'(p < 0.001), and 'availability of new menus'(p < 0.01). factors including food, menu, sanitation, atmosphere, facilities, employee's attitude, and convenience were rearranged and a new dimension was created with the service. Employee's attitude and service factors received the highest scores in customer perception of importance and performance. Food, menu, and convenience factors were included in Quadrant A. female students had significantly higher importance mean scores than males, while males had significantly higher Performance mean scores. Geostationary Satellite Station Keeping Robustness to Loss of Ground Control

  • For the vast majority of geostationary satellites currently in orbit, station keeping activities including orbit determination and maneuver planning and execution are ground-directed and dependent on the availability of ground-based satellite control personnel and facilities. However, a requirement linked to satellite autonomy and survivability in cases of interrupted ground support is often one of the stipulated provisions on the satellite platform design. It is especially important for a geostationary military-purposed satellite to remain within its designated orbital window, in order to provide reliable uninterrupted telecommunications services, in the absence of ground-based resources due to warfare or other disasters. In this paper we investigate factors affecting the robustness of a geostationary satellite's orbit in terms of the maximum duration the satellite's station keeping window can be maintained without ground intervention. By comparing simulations of orbit evolution, given different initial conditions and operations strategies, a variation of parameters study has been performed and we have analyzed which factors the duration is most sensitive to. This also provides valuable insights into which factors may be worth controlling by a military or civilian geostationary satellite operator. Our simulations show that the most beneficial factor for maximizing the time a satellite will remain in the station keeping window is the operational practice of pre-emptively loading East-West station keeping maneuvers for automatic execution on board the satellite should ground control capability be lost. The second most beneficial factor is using short station keeping maneuver cycle durations.

이용자 참여관점에서의 관광 쇼셜 네트워크 서비스의 수용결정요인이 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향: 지각된 가치와 만족을 매개로 하여 (The Impacts of Acceptance Decision Factors of Tour Social Network Service on Continuous Use Intention from the Viewpoint of User Participation : Focusing on Mediating Effect of Perceived Value and Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 관광 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)의 이용자인 관광객의 관점에서 SNS 수용 결정요인이 무엇인가를 파악하고, 도출된 수용결정요인이 SNS의 지속적인 이용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 선행연구를 바탕으로 관광 SNS의 수용결정요인을 개인적 특성(자기효능감, 사회문화적 영향, 사회적 실재감, 개인의 혁신성향), 시스템적 특성(시스템 품질, 정보품질) 및 유용성/용이성 등으로 설정하고 이러한 선행요인이 지각가치와 만족도를 매개로 하여 지속적인 이용의도에 미치는 영향관계를 구조적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 부산지역에 거주하거나 부산지역을 방문하여 전시, 컨벤션, 숙박, 여행, 항공, 교통 등 관광활동과 관련하여 SNS를 이용해본 경험이 있는 250명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 실증적 연구 결과 관광 소셜네트워크서비스의 수용결정요인인 개인적 특성, 시스템적 특성 및 유용성/용이성 등의 요인이 지각가치에 각각 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 중 유용성/용이성 요인, 시스템적 요인, 개인적 요인 순으로 영향을 크게 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 관광 소셜네트워크서비스 이용 과정에서의 지각된 가치는 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치며 나아가 지속적 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 볼 때 관광객 관점의 SNS 수용결정요인이 고객의 지각된 가치와 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치며 궁극적으로 지속적인 이용의도에 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

저산소환경에 의한 송사리(Oryzias dancena)의 Stanniocalcin-2와 Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-1α mRNA 발현의 변화 (Changes in Stanniocalcin-2 and Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-1α mRNA Expression in Medaka Oryzias dancena Exposed to Acute Hypoxia)

  • Some fish live in aquatic environments with low or temporally changing $O_2$ availability. Variation in dissolved oxygen (DO) levels requires behavioral, physiological, and biochemical adaptations to ensure the uptake of sufficient $O_2$. Several species are relatively well adapted to tolerate low $O_2$ partial pressures (hypoxia). The medaka (Oryzias dancena ) is an important model organism for biomedical research that shows remarkable tolerance to hypoxia. We investigated the regulation and role of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-$1{\alpha}$) as a general hypoxia-response gene and stanniocalcin-2 (STC2), which is one of the genes regulated by HIF-$1{\alpha}$ in mammals under hypoxia. We subjected adult male medaka to the following three acute hypoxia regimes: 1, 24, and 72 h at DO = $1.8{\pm}0.5$ ppm. The changes in STC2 and HIF-$1{\alpha}$ mRNA were monitored using quantitative real-time reverse-transcription PCR. We found strong upregulation of HIF-$1{\alpha}$ mRNA in the livers of fish exposed to hypoxia. Hypoxia rapidly upregulated STC-2 mRNA expression in muscle, but not in the brain, gills, liver, or intestine. Therefore, unlike in mammals, hypoxia might regulate O. dancena STC-2 expression in an HIF-$1{\alpha}$-independent manner.

지역대학생의 농촌경관 개선사업 참여를 위한 발전방안 연구 - 금산읍 농촌중심지 사업을 대상으로 - (A Study on Development Plans to Engage Local University Students in Landscape Improvement Projects in Rural Areas - The case of on the Revitalization Project of Rural Center of Geumsan-eup -)

  • This study aims to identify more reasonable and efficient development plans to engage local university students in landscape improvement projects in rural areas. To survey university students, residents, administrators and experts involved in such projects on important considerations in this regard, SWOT analysis was employed to identify important factors, followed by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate their relative importance, identify problems and suggest implications for improvement. The results are summarized as follows: the relative importance of the SWOT group was in the order of opportunity, strength, threat, and weakness. For each SWOT factor, the relative importance of strengths was in the order of students' aspiration and passion, availability of creative ideas and designs, and improved attachment to their community. The relative importance of weaknesses was in the order of the lack of spontaneous participation of residents, short preparation periods and insufficient budgets, and the lack of experience in similar projects. The relative importance of opportunities was in the order of young students' activity itself being a boost factor to the community, students' endeavors arising a consensus among residents, and students feeling a sense of duty as representatives of their school. The relative importance of threats was in the order of projects being one-shot, temporary events, immaturity, and differences in preferences between older and younger generations. To draw an overall ranking of the sub-factors evaluated, the overall relative importance of the decision-making factors was evaluated. Among the sub-factors for each SWOT group, young students' activity itself being a boost factor to the community as an opportunity factor was shown to be the most important, while the lack of experience in similar projects was shown to be the least important as administrators and experts made appropriate interventions in each stage.

노후산업단지의 쇠퇴 영향요인과 유형화에 관한 연구 (Analysis of the Typology and Factors Affecting the Decline in Old Industrial Parks)

  • 본 연구는 노후산업단지의 쇠퇴영향요인을 진단하고 그 특성을 바탕으로 노후산업단지를 유형화하였으며 연구 결과를 노후산업단지의 재생방안으로 연계하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국 산업단지를 대상으로 착공시점을 기준으로 20년이 경과한 94개소 노후산업단지에 대해 17개 지표를 측정 및 분석하였으며, 그 중 장치산업단지 5개소를 제외한 89개소 노후산업단지의 15개 지표에 대해 요인분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석 결과, 15개 지표는 5개 요인으로 분류되었으며 요인1은 '시가화 가능성', 요인2는 '생산 효율성', 요인3은 '기반시설 쾌적성', 요인4는 '입지 잠재성', 요인5는 '지원시설 충족성'으로 구분할 수 있었다. 이를 이용하여 5개 요인점수의 하위 25%에 해당하는 산업단지를 추출하고 어떠한 쇠퇴영향요인이 잠재하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 요인분석 결과 시사점은 '시가화 가능성'은 산업단지내 입주 기업업종과 토지이용과의 관련성을 내포하고 있다. '생산효율성'분야는 기업들의 생산성을 높일 수 있는 효율적인 지원방안이 모색될 필요가 있다. '기반시설 쾌적성'요인은 자생적인 재생유도보다는 정부 및 지자체가 직접 관여하여 물리적 정비가 이루어져야 할 것이다. '입지잠재성' 요인은 광역급 인프라 구축, 산단내 기반시설의 개선 및 정비, 지가상승 등을 복합적으로 고려하여 고부가가치 산업 유치를 고려하거나 산업구조고도화를 위한 업종변경 등 장기적이고 전략적인 접근이 필요할 것이다. 마지막으로 '지원시설 충족성'은 필요한 지원시설 공급을 위해 노후산업단지의 정확한 쇠퇴진단을 통해서 유휴부지를 발굴하거나 국 공유지를 활용할 수 있는 방안이 모색될 필요가 있겠다.

Biosynthesis of Poly(3HB-3HV) and Poly(3HB-4HB) Copolymers in Recombinant Ralstonia eutropha Enforced zwf

  • NADPH has been known as a regulating factor the biosynthesis of polyhydroxyalkanote(PHA), and the flux of NADPH for PHA biosynthesis could be enforced by the amplification of zwf gene encoding glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase. The recombinant plasmid pCZWF harboring PHA synthase, phbC from R. eutropha and zwf from E. coli were constructed, and were transformed to R. eutropha by electroporation. The biosynthesis of P(3HB-3HV) copolymer were carried out in transformant R. eutropha through the two-stage cultivation method using valerate as a precursor. The biosynthesis rate and PHA content of transformant R. eutropha harboring pCZWF were increased compared with transformant R. eutropha harboring only phbC. Especially, the molar fraction of 3HV was increased from 68% to 74% due to amplification of zwf gene. And the biosynthesis P(3HB-3HV) and P(3HB-4HB) carried out using propionate and ${\gamma}-butyrolactone$ as a precursor, respectively. But the rate, content, and molar fraction of biosynthesis copolymers were not influenced appreciably. This may be due to the reduced availability of NADPH.

AE 신호를 이용한 연삭 가공물의 표면 거칠기 예측 (Estimation of the Ground Surface Roughness Applied by Acoustic Emission Signal)

  • An in-process estimation of the ground surface roughness is a bottle-neck and an essential field in conventional grinding operation. We defined the dimensionless average roughness factor (D.A.R.F) that exhibits a roughness characteristics of ground surface. The D.A.R.F was composed easily of the absolute average and the standard deviation values which were the analytic parameters of the acoustic emission (AE) signal generated during the machining process. The theoretical equation between the surface roughness and the D.A.R.F has been derived from the linear regressive analysis and verified its availability through the experimentation on the surface grinding machine.

Use of Serological-Based Assay for the Detection of Pepper yellow leaf curl Indonesia virus

  • Diseases caused by Pepper yellow leaf curl virus infection is considered to be emerging plant diseases in Indonesia in the last five years. One key factor for disease management is the availability of accurate detection of the virus in plants. Polyclonal antibody for Pepper yellow leaf curl Indonesia virus-Bogor (PYLCIV-Bgr) was produced for detection of the virus using I-ELISA and DIBA methods. The antibody was able to detect PYLCIV-Bgr from infected plants up to dilution 1/16,384 and cross reaction was not observed with Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), and Chilli veinal mottle virus (ChiVMV). Positive reaction was readily detected in membrane containing Begomovirus samples from Yogyakarta (Kaliurang and Kulonprogo) and West Java (Bogor and Segunung). Infection of PYLCIV-Bgr in chillipepper, tomato, and Ageratum conyzoides was also confirmed using polyclonal antibody for PYLCIV-Bgr in DIBA. Polyclonal antibody for PYLCIV-Bgr is suggested to be included in disease management approach due to its good detection level.

  • Focusing on the rapid market penetration of smart phones, the importance of LBS (Location Based Service) is drastically increased. However, traditional GPS method has critical weakness caused by limited availability, such as indoor environment. WPS is newly attractive method as a widely applicable positioning method. In WPS, RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) data of all Wi-Fi APs (Access Point) are measured and stored into a huge database. The stored RSSI data in database make single radio fingerprint map. By the radio fingerprint map, we can estimate the actual position of target point. The essential factor of radio fingerprint database is data integrity of RSSI. Because of millions of APs in urban area, RSSI measurement data are seriously contaminated. Therefore, we present the unified filtering method for RSSI measurement data. As the results of filtering, we can show the effectiveness of suggested method in practical positioning system of mobile operator.
