복수 캐비리 충전 균형 조절을 위한 자동 런너 밸브 조절기 개발 (Development of Automatic Runner-Valve Actuator for The Filling Balance of Multi Cavity)

  • The runner-valve is an effective solution for the filling balance of the multi cavity molds. Automation of the runner-valve system is necessary for more efficient and accurate control of the filing balance. We designed an automatic runner-valve actuator for the automation and characterized the actuator by experiment. We obtained a linear relationship between motor-driving time and the height of the runner-valve. However, the motor-driving times for upward and downward directions were different due to the frictional characteristics of the actuators. Also we obtained the motor-driving times for backlashes of the 4 actuators. The results were used to formulate the relationship between the resin-arrival time and the flow rate change of the runner-valve with the theoretical equation that was derived in the previous research.

자동변속기 마찰요소의 동특성 해석 (Analysis of Dynamics Characteristics for Friction Elements in Automatic Transmission)

  • In this paper, the modeling and analysis of dynamic characteristics has been carried out for friction clutches and brakes in an automatic transmission. From the operating oil pressure generated by the valve-body, time delay by check valve and the movement of piston has been examined. Also torque capacity and torque transferred at the clutch is studied. Heat capacity and temperature distribution at the reaction plate of clutch are codeled by time-dependent, nonhomogeneous partial differential equation, and brake torque, brake time, and the amount of heat generated are investigated. It is found that the time delay at the check valve is very short but dominant at the spool.

  • In this paper, the design of automatic impact force control mechanism of hydraulic breaker was studied. The control mechanism uses the change of piston upper chamber pressure, when the hydraulic breaker impacts various strength rock. The piston stroke is controlled by rock strength sensing valve, piston stroke switching valve, and piston control valve. It is imperative to denote the area of each valve section, the spring constant of the spring. It provides convenience to users by automatically adjusting the appropriate striking force, according to the strength of the rock. Additionally, by increasing work productivity, it can contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions due to fuel efficiency reduction.

  • The proportional control solenoid valves as well as the PWM solenoid valves operated by electric signal play an important role in the hydraulic system for automatic transmissions to improve the shift quality. However it is not generally available for the performance data because most of the automotive parts manufacturer don't release the specific test results, especially dynamic performance that is essential to design a shift control algorithm. In this research, a performance test equipment that can be applied to various types of pressure control solenoid valve was developed. It was implemented by 8-bit micro-controller with many useful functions such as adjustable PWM carrier frequency, embedded function generator, current controller, data monitoring and acquisitions, etc. for the test of dynamic performance of solenoid valve as well as the steady-state pressure characteristics. The performance test results for the direct type proportional control solenoid valve show not only the validity of overall functions but also its usefulness as a hydraulic valve tester.

  • 현재 국내의 모든 CNG자동차에는 용기용 밸브로 수동밸브가 부착되어 있으며 가스누출 사고 시 운전자가 차량을 정지하고 수동밸브를 잠궈야 하는 불편한 점이 있어 누출 사고 시에는 운전자 등이 가스누출사고를 대응하는데 어려운 부분이 있다. 유럽의 선진국에서는 가스누출 시 운전자가 시동을 끄면 자동으로 닫히는 구조를 가진 전자밸브의 장착을 의무화 하고 있어 우리나라에서도 기능성이 증가된 전자식 용기밸브를 적용하는 것이 CNG 버스의 안전성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 좋은 기회일 것이다. 본 논문에서는 개개의 전자밸브의 작동상태를 운전자가 파악하기 어려운 구조적인 문제를 보완하기 위해서 충전 중 압력의 상승에 따라서 온도가 상승하는 현상에 착안하여 문제에 접근하였다. 충전 중 온도상승이 압력차에 따라서 약 $30^{\circ}C$ 이상이 발생하는 것을 이용하여, 데이터 확인 시 온도상승이 발생하지 않는 용기는 밸브가 작동하지 않아 충전이 이루어지지 않는 것으로 판단할 수 있는 실험적 결론을 얻었다.

비례제어방식 솔레노이드 밸브 압력제어특성에 관한 동적해석 (Dynamics Analysis of Pressure Control Characteristics in a Variable Pressure Solenoid Valve)

  • In the present paper, dynamics analyses of pressure control characteristics have been performed in a variable pressure solenoid valve. A number of solenoid valves have been used in the electronic control system, especially automatic transmission of an automobile. Variable pressure solenoid valve is intended to produce spatial movement by the electrical signal. Dynamics analyses of pressure control characteristics have been practiced by the Finite Difference Method, which show the pressure distribution in the solenoid valve. The results of numerical analyses show the dependence of pressure distribution on the displacement of the spool in the solenoid valve, and then, are compared with the experimental results.

  • 자동차의 자동변속기에는 변속을 하기 위한 솔레노이드 밸브가 장착되어 있으며, 이 솔레노이드 밸브는 자동변속기의 고장 원인 중 상당부분을 차지하므로 이 밸브를 세척하기 위하여 솔레노이드 밸브 세척기를 사용한다. 그러나 현재 사용되고 있는 세척기는 슬러지를 제거하는 효과가 적고 세척 속도가 느린 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 솔레노이드 오프시에 잔류전류를 신속하게 제거하여 플런저의 동작속도를 증가시킴으로써 세척력을 증가시키고 세척 속도를 빠르게 하는 방법을 제안하였으며, 그 성능을 실험을 통해 증명하였다.

  • The automatic turbine startup system provides turbine control based on thermal stress. During the startup, control system monitors and evaluates main components of turbine using damage mechanism and life assessment. In case of valve chest, the temperature of inner/outer wall is measured by thermo-couples and the safety of these values are evaluated by using allowable ${\Delta}T$ limit curve during the startup. Because allowable ${\Delta}T$ limit curve includes life assessment, it is possible to apply this curve to turbine control system. In this paper, low cycle fatigue damage and combined rupture and low cycle fatigue damage criterion proposed for yielding the allowable ${\Delta}T$ limit curve of CV(control valve) chest. To calculate low cycle fatigue damage, the stress analysis of valve chest has peformed using FEM. Automatic turbine startup to assure service life of CV was achieved using allowable ${\Delta}T$ limit curve.

  • This paper suggests direct-acting hydraulic circuit to control clutches and brakes in automatic transmission. As only one pressure control valve controls the pressure of several friction elements with accumulators in conventional hydraulic circuit, the controllable range is limited. In addition, it is difficult to control the fine timing between apply clutch and release clutch. So, we designed new method to control the pressure of clutch which uses ressure control valve and pressure control solenoid valve independently in each friction element. through this structure improvement of hydraulic circuit, we can control the pressure of clutches and brakes finely and fine timing of between apply clutch and release clutch.
