역공학을 위한 측정점의 영역화 (Segmentation of Measured Point Data for Reverse Engineering)

  • In reverse engineering, when a shape containing multi-patched surfaces is digitized, the boundaries of these surfaces should be detected. The objective of this paper is to introduce a computationally efficient segmentation technique for extracting edges, ad partitioning the 3D measuring point data based on the location of the boundaries. The procedure begins with the identification of the edge points. An automatic edge-based approach is developed on the basis of local geometry. A parametric quadric surface approximation method is used to estimate the local surface curvature properties. the least-square approximation scheme minimizes the sum of the squares of the actual euclidean distance between the neighborhood data points and the parametric quadric surface. The surface curvatures and the principal directions are computed from the locally approximated surfaces. Edge points are identified as the curvature extremes, and zero-crossing, which are found from the estimated surface curvatures. After edge points are identified, edge-neighborhood chain-coding algorithm is used for forming boundary curves. The original point set is then broke down into subsets, which meet along the boundaries, by scan line algorithm. All point data are applied to each boundary loops to partition the points to different regions. Experimental results are presented to verify the developed method.

무선 주파수 식별 적용을 위한 물류 적재 시뮬레이터 설계 (A Goods Load Simulator for Optimum RFID Distribution)

  • 본 논문에서는 상황별 RFID(무선주파수식별) 물류 적재 시뮬레이터를 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 RFID의 적용 및 인식률에 영향을 줄 수 있는 환경요소들을 모델링하여 인식률 실험을 체계적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 실제로 물류 현장에 적용시켰을 때 보다 적은 시간과 비용으로 상황별 최적의 RFID 물류 적재 방법을 찾아 개선한 사례를 제시한다. 물류 현장에서 RFID 인식률을 높이기 위해 본 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 RFID 인식 실험데이터를 축적하였다. 이를 통해 본 논문에서 제안된 시뮬레이터가 시행착오를 줄이고 효과적으로 최적화된 RFID 물류 적용 안을 찾아낼 수 있다는 것을 실험치를 기준으로 증명 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 지문센서의 주변환경 변화에 따른 획득 이미지의 왜곡을 보상하기 위한 픽셀 수준의 자동보상회로를 설계하고 $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS공정을 적용하여 칩으로 구현하였다. 적용된 센서는 $48\times48$ 픽셀의 용량형 센서로서 센서의 출력 전압과 기준 전압을 비교하여 이진의 영상을 출력하게 된다. 기준전압을 제어하여 왜곡된 이미지를 보상하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안하였으며 기준전압제어를 위하여 기존의 DAC와 같은 복잡한 회로 대신 비휘발성 메모리에 적용되는 승압회로를 픽셀별로 적용하였다. 본 논문에서는 승압회로에 의한 이미지보상효과를 얻을 수 있었으며 아울러 16단계의 회색 이미지를 얻음으로써 지문의 인증율을 높일 수 있었다.

  • The AIS(Automatic Identification System) transmits the position of ships and other information to prevent accidents which could occur in the sea. It has to be developed SOTDMA(Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access) Algorithm which is important on wireless communication method for the AIS because It is based on ITU(International Telecommunication Union) M.1371-1 of the international standard therefore, we need to develop a performance evaluation simulator efficiently to develop and analyze SOTDMA Algorithm. This paper shows the method of designing it. Real ships access The VHF maritime mobile band but in this performance evaluation simulator several ship objects access the shared memory. Real ships are designed as the object and the wireless communication channel is designed as the shared memory. The ships apply for real virtual data which got from assistance hardware and The SOTDMA Algorithm driving state verifies the performance evaluation simulator by IEC(International Electrotechnical commission) 61993-2. After verifying results the performance evaluation simulator is correctly satisfied with IEC 61993-2. So we expect that it helps not only the AIS technology developed but also verify new SOTDMA Algorithm.

  • In this paper, we present a novel approach for the structure of Fuzzy Neural Network(FNN) based on wavelet function and apply this network structure to the solution of the tracking problem for mobile robots. Generally, the wavelet fuzzy model(WFM) has the advantage of the wavelet transform by constituting fuzzy basis function(FBF) and the conclusion part to equalize the linear combination of FBF with the linear combination of wavelet functions. However, it is very difficult to identify the fuzzy rules and to tune the membership functions of the fuzzy reasoning mechanism. Neural networks, on the other hand, utilize their learning capability for automatic identification and tuning. Therefore, we design a wavelet based FNN structure(WFNN) that merges these advantages of neural network, fuzzy model and wavelet. To verify the efficiency of our network structure, we evaluate the tracking performance for mobile robot and compare it with those of the FNN and the WFM.

  • G. Binnig and H. Rohrer introduced the Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) in 1982 and developed it into a powerful and not to be missed physical tool. Scanning tunneling Microscopy is a real space surface imaging method with the atomic or subatomic resolution in all three dimensions. The tip is scanned over the surface by two piezo translators mounted parallel (X-piezo and Y-piezo) to the surface and perpendicular to each other. The voltage applied to the third piezo (Z-piezo) translator mounted perpendicular to the surface to maintain the tunneling current through the gap at a constant level reflects then the topography of the surface. The feed back control loop for the constant gap current is designed using the automatic control technique. In the designing process of the feed back loop, the identification of the gap dynamics is very complex and has difficulty. In this research, using some suitable test signals, the system dynamics of the gap including the Z-piezo are investigated. Especially, in this paper, a system model is proposed for the gap and Z-piezo series system. Indicial response is used to find out the model. The driving voltage of the Z-piezo and the tunneling current are considered as input and output signals respectively.

  • 유무선 통신기술이 접목된 정보통신 및 제어기술을 이용하는 첨단해양교통시설은 안전한 해양교통 환경을 보장할 수 있는 혁신적인 교통시설이다. 표준화를 기반으로 개발되어진 기술을 통합한 해양교통시설은 항로표지 시스템의 관리와 모니터링 분야에 그 응용기반이 확대되어져 가고 있다. 이러한 해양교통 환경적 변화를 고려하여 해양교통시설에 대한 현황을 파악하고, 해양교통시설 관리시스템 통합의 타당성을 확인하였고, 통합을 구현하기 위한 최적의 방안 및 기존 시스템과의 연계를 통한통합 방안을 제시하였다.

  • '06.3.24 선박안전법의 개정에 따라 선박의 안전운항을 확보하고 해양사고 발생시 신속한 대응을 위하여 일정규모 이상의 선박은 선박의 위치를 자동으로 발신하는 장치(VMS)를 설치하여야 한다. VMS 의 시행으로 그동안 안전이 취약한 소형어선의 조난통신체계가 획기적으로 개선되고 어선사고로 인한 인명피해를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. '07.11.1 선박위치발신장치의 종류, 설치 및 운용 등에 관한 세부기준을 정한 "선박위치발신선박위치발신장치의 설치기준 등에 관한 규정"이 고시됨(해양수산부 고시 제2007-88호)에 따라 선박위치발신장치의 도입배경, 적용대상과 시기 및 향후 선박위치정보 활용과 기대효과 등을 전망해보고자 한다.

  • RFID method is a non-contact automatic identification technology, which attaches microchips and antennas to an object in a tag form, to send and process information sent to the network using wireless frequency. Drying and curing process is extremely important which minimizes the resistivity of RFID antennas. This research is about the drying characteristic of conductivity ink, and analyzes and compares the hot-air drying process and infrared drying process. Also, the research was done for the improvement in drying performance by using combined process of hot-air and infrared mechanism. The experiment result shows that the hot-air or infrared drying system used alone cannot meet the required performance in drying printing method using conductivity ink. The combined drying system of hot-air and infrared ray showed resistance low enough in short drying and curing time, and this mechanism makes drying and curing process for mass and continuous production possible on-line.

근해 어선에 대한 AIS와 레이더 표적정보의 통합 (Integration of AIS and radar target information for offshore fishing vessels)

  • The dynamic information of radar and automatic identification system (AIS) for targets obtained from the traffic vessels operating in the north outer harbor and surrounding waters of Busan port, Korea. The target information was analyzed to investigate the potential collision risk resulting from the invalid true heading (HDT) information of AIS and the integration ambiguity in the graphic presentation of both tracked data sets for two systems. An integrated display system (IDS) for supporting the navigator of offshore fishing vessels was also developed to find possible maneuvering solutions for collision avoidance by comparing radar data with AIS data in real-time at sea. Consequently, the multiple functions of IDS can provide additional information that is potentially valuable for taking action to avoid the collision in offshore fishing vessels. However, the integration criteria of radar and AIS targets in the IDS must be carefully established to eliminate the fusion ambiguity in the graphic presentation of both AIS and radar symbols such as the one or two physical targets which are very close to each other.
