This paper presents a successful stand-alone pico-hydro generation system using a high-efficiency interior permanent-magnet (IPM) synchronous generator. A 1-kW 4-pole V-type IPM generator with low voltage regulation is used for laboratory test in stand-alone hydro energy conversion system. It has been found from experimental results that the constant output voltage is supplied stably by the proposed system under wide speed range.

한글 혹은 영어 문자열을 입력할 때 입력 모드를 수동으로 전환하지 않더라도 입력된 문자열이 한글인지, 영어인지를 자동으로 판단하여 해당 문자열로 변환하는 방법을 제안한다. 한글 문자열일 확률을 계산하기 위해 음절 구성 요건과 음절 빈도 정보를 이용하고, 영어 문자열일 확률을 계산하기 위해 영어 bigram 및 trigram 정보를 이용한다. 또한, 한글과 영어가 혼합된 문자열은 한글일 확률과 영어일 확률이 교차되는 경계 위치를 인식함으로써 혼합 문자열을 생성한다.

In this paper, we present an intelligent digital controller circuit which can be applied to automatic voltage regulation. The proposed solid state transformer with Pspice simulation model shows that our approach is very efficient and produces the desirable output. It is comparable to an ordinary magnetic coupled autotransformer.

저전력에 사용되는 Flyback 컨버터에서는 일반적으로 트랜스포머의 보조권선을 통하여 구동 IC에 필요로 하는 전력을 공급한다. 하지만, USB PD와 같이 5~20V의 넓은 출력전압을 가지는 경우 IC Vcc 정격 전압을 위하여 Linear regulator 사용이 필수적이나, 이는 소자발열 및 시스템 효율을 저하시킨다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 출력전압 변동에 따라 변압기의 보조권선을 변환 시키는 회로를 제안하고자 한다.

The results of control law design for a tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle that has a nacelle mounted wing extension (WE) are presented in this paper. It consists of a control surface mixer, stability and control augmentation system (SCAS), hold mode for altitude / speed / heading, and a guidance mode for preprogram and point navigation which includes automatic take-off and landing. The conversion corridor and the control moments derivatives between the original tilt-rotor and its variant of the nacelle mounted WE were compared to show the effectiveness of the WE. The nacelle conversion of the original tilt-rotor starts when the airspeed is greater than 30 km/h but its WE variant starts at 0 km/h in order to reduce the drag caused by the high incidence angle of the WE. The stability margins of the inner loop are presented with the optimization approach. The outer loops for the hold mode are designed with trial and error methods with linear and nonlinear simulation. The main control parameter for altitude control of the helicopter mode is thrust command and it is transferred to the pitch attitude command in airplane mode. Otherwise, the control parameter for the speed of the helicopter mode is the pitch attitude command and it is transferred to the thrust command in airplane mode. Therefore the speed and altitude hold mode are coupled to each other and are engaged at the same time when an internal pilot engages any of the altitude or speed hold modes. The nonlinear simulation results of the guidance control for the preprogrammed mode and point navigation are also presented including automatic take-off and landing in order to prove the full control law.

현재, 기업간 전자상거래는 XML 문서를 이용하여 기업간 정보유통에 부분적으로 적용되고 있으나 웹서비스가 본격 구현되면 기업 기간시스템도 XML 기반으로 점차 전환될 것으로 보고 많은 업체들이 XML DBMS 개발에 경쟁적으로 나서고 있다. 기존의 XML DBMS 연구들에서는 XML 문서의 구조를 표현하기 위하여 XML DTD를 사용하였다. 이러한 XML DTD는 단순한 형태의 표현을 정의하고 있어서 XML 문서의 구조를 정의하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 이를 극복하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 W3C의 표준으로 채택된 XML 스키마를 기반으로 데이터의 컨텐츠 저장에 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 관계형 데이터베이스에 XML 데이터를 저장하기 위하여 XML 스키마를 이용한 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마의 자동 변환 메커니즘을 통한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이 알고리즘을 토대로 XML 스키마를 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마로 변환하는 모듈을 개발하면, XML 데이터의 관리를 관계형 데이터베이스를 통하여 효과적으로 할 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문에서는 자동 이득 제어 회로를 이용한 와이드 다이나믹 레인지 RF root-mean-square (RMS) 전력 검출기를 소개한다. 제안하는 자동 이득 제어는 voltage gain amplifier (VGA), RMS 변환 블록, 이득 조절 블록으로 구성되어 있다. VGA는 dB-linear한 이득 관계를 갖는 캐스코드 VGA를 사용하였다. 제안하는 RMS 변환은 입력 신호 전 파장의 제곱 변환을 이용하여 RMS에 비례하는 DC 전압을 출력한다. 제안하는 RMS 전력 검출기는 500MHz에서 5GHz에서 작동하며 검출 범위는 0 dBm에서 -70dBm 이상의 신호를 -4.53 mV/dBm의 비율로 검출한다. 제안하는 RMS 전력 검출기는 TSMC 65nm 공정을 사용하여 설계되었으며 1.2V에서 5mW의 전력소비를 갖는다. 칩 레이아웃 면적은 $0.0097mm^2$이다.

ARPA(Automatic Radar Plotting Aid)는 자동레이더 플로팅 장치로써, 레이더 물표의 상대침로와 상대방위로 구성된 운동벡터에 본선의 침로와 방위로 구성되는 운동벡터를 가감 연산(벡터연산)하여, 물표의 진침로와 진방위 및 최근접점과 근접시간을 계산하는 장치를 말한다. 본 연구의 목적은 ARPA 레이더를 구현하기 위한 물표의 획득 및 추적 기술을 개발하는 것으로, 이에 관한 여러 선행 연구를 검토하여 적용 가능한 알고리듬 및 기법을 조합하여 기초적인 ARPA 기능을 개발하였다. 주요 연구내용으로, 레이더 영상에서 물표를 획득하기 위하여, 회색조 변환, 가운시안 평활 필터 적용, 이진화 및 라벨링(Labeling)과 같은 순차적 영상 처리 방법을 고안하였고, 이전 영상에서의 물표가 다음 영상에서의 어느 물표인지를 결정하는데 근접이웃탐색알고리듬을 사용하였으며, 물표의 진침로와 진방위를 계산하는 거동해석에 칼만필터를 사용하였다. 또한 이러한 기법을 전산 구현하여 실선실험을 수행하였고, 이를 통해 개발된 ARPA의 기능이 실용상 사용가능함을 검증하였다.

At present, the elderly population in Korea is 14% of the total population and then We has entered an the society of advanced age. Along with this, elderly people with dementia and palsy are also increasing. The demand for elderly nursing homes for elderly people with severe diseases such as dementia and stroke is also increasing, and the existing buildings are being secured by Conversion of existing buildings. However, it is difficult to evacuate and fire due to the out of date of buildings by Conversion of existing buildings. For example, there is a fire in the Indukukwon, Pohang City and Hyosung Geriatric Hospital, Jangseong in Korea, which have changed the use of existing buildings. Many elderly people died in a night fire. It was because of the sandwich panel walls and PVC flooring material produced toxic gas instantly. In this study, we investigated the nursing home that changing the use and established fire prevention of human injury and countermeasure of evacuation. First, the sandwich panels which leading to deaths due to the toxic gas were installed in most nursing home. We recommend the RC, the masonry wall, and the glass fiber panel instead of the sandwich panels, In addition, the PVC flooring is most used in nursing home, the flooring material is considered such as the building stones, the tile, and the yellow soil closing instead of the PVC flooring. Second, we investigated the installation status of fire fighting equipment. As a result, the automatic-emergency open&shut equipment, the smoke ventilator and the evacuation slide were rarely installed. In order to secure the golden time in case of fire and to prevent the asphyxia caused by the toxic gas, the law should be amended to install the equipment.

ALE 기반 RFID 미들웨어는 리더 장치로부터 EPC 데이터를 입력받아 내부적으로 URN 형태로 변환하고 이를 필터링, 그룹핑 등을 수행한 후 응용으로 전송한다. 한편, EPC 데이터의 경우 유형이 다양할 뿐만 아니라 향후 또 다른 새로운 형식의 EPC 데이터가 제안될 수도 있으므로 RFID 미들웨어는 다양한 유형의 EPC 데이터를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 EPCglobal의 ALE 표준 스펙을 기반으로 한 RFID 미들웨어에서 RFID 리더로부터 수집된 다양한 유형의 EPC 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하기 위하여 온톨로지 기반의 데이터 처리 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 다양한 유형의 EPC 데이터를 URN 형태로 효과적으로 변환하기 위하여 데이터 유형별 변환 규칙을 온톨로지로 구축한다. 그럼으로써 온톨로지의 재사용은 물론 새로운 유형의 EPC 데이터가 제안되어도 해당 EPC 데이터에 대한 온톨로지만 추가함으로써 미들웨어로 하여금 효과적으로 처리할 수 있도록 확장할 수 있다.
