자동차용 Auto Transmission 핵심부품 개발을 위한 Flow Forming 공정의 성형성 연구 (A Study on the Flow Forming Process to Develop the Main Part of Auto Transmission of Automobile)

  • 플로포밍은 무절삭 점진성형공정으로 축 대칭 원형제품의 다품종 소량생산에 있어 스템핑이나 딥드로잉과 같은 박판성형 공정과 비교했을 때 매우 경제적이며 효율적인 공정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 공정과의 품질비교를 통한 플로포밍 공정의 유용성 검토를 위해 현재 프레스 드로잉 공정으로 생산중인 자동차용 자동변속기 부품을 1-롤러 플로포밍 공정을 이용하여 대체 성형해 보았다. 실험결과 플로포밍 공정은 제조부품의 형상변화에 따른 설비변경 비용과 개발기간이 짧아 효과적인 유연 생산 시스템임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 플로포밍 공정을 프레스 드로잉 공정과 연계하여 성형하면 성형품의 정밀도와 생산성 향상에 매우 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • An essential consideration to differentiate prosthetic hand from robot hand is its convenience and usefulness rather than high resolution or multi-function of the robot hand. Therefore, this study proposes a myoelectric hand with a 2 DOF auto wrist module which has 6 essential functions of the human hand such as open, grasp, pronation, supination, extension, flexion, which improves the convenience of the daily life. It consists of the 3 main parts, the myoelectric sensor for input signal without additional attachment to operate the prosthetic hand, hand mechanism with high-torqued auto-transmission mechanism and self-locking module which guarantee the safety under the abrupt emergency and minimum power consumption, and dual threshold based controller to make easy for adopting the multi-DOF myoelectric hand. We prove the validity of the proposed system with experimental results.

  • 자동화 수동변속기는 수동변속기에 액츄에이터를 설치하여 자동으로 수동변속기를 변속할 수 있게 한 변속기로써, 자동화 수동변속기의 조작 편의성과 수동변속기 수준의 높은 연비로 인해 대형 상용차에 많이 적용되고 있다. 대형 상용차에 적용되는 12단 자동화 수동변속기는 다른 자동 변속기와 마찬가지로 자동변속로직과 변속맵에 의해 변속시점을 결정하지만 기존의 방식으로는 변속충격, 클러치 마모, 연비저하 등의 문제점이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문은 12단 자동화 수동변속기에 알맞은 변속로직 및 변속맵의 설계와 성능확인시험에 대한 내용을 다루고 있다.

  • Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure orthopedic surgeons use to visualize, diagnose and treat problems inside a joint. In usual, since the arthroscopic surgery is more accurate and minimally invasive than through 'open' surgery, the surgery of knee, shoulder, and wrist using auto-shaver is increasing in recent. However, repetitive use of arthroscopic-shaver may induce the second infection, hence the disposable arthroscopic-shaver should be developed. In this paper, a unique power transmission mechanism using DC motor, gear trains, and link mechanism is proposed for disposable arthroscopic-shaver and some test results of tissue cutting are introduced.

  • Most of faults occurred in transmission lines are single-phase to ground faults and transient faults. Single-phase auto reclosing is an appropriate scheme to maintain the system stability and restore the system effectively when those faults are occurred. In single-phase auto reclosing scheme, the secondary arc is generated after faulted phase is tripped to eliminate the fault and it is sustained by the capacitive and inductive coupling to the healthy phases. It is important to reclose the faulted phase after fully extinction of secondary arc because of the damage applied to system. Therefore, it is necessary to research on the detection of secondary arc extinction to ensure high success rate of reclosing. In this step, firstly, the accurate modelling of secondary arc should be performed. In this paper, the modelling of secondary arc is performed by using EMTP-RV and the simulation results show that the implemented model is correct and effective.

  • Image transmission by means of telecommunications is an essential task for information sharing. For considerable distances, wireless channels can be utilized and tuned for proper uses of image data exchange. However, the disturbances that a radio wave encounter during transmission causes partial or total loss of information. Result of such communications is a distorted image at the receiver's end. This paper proposes an auto-encoder architecture as an image enhancement method for narrow-bandwidth radio images. With this method, a distorted image can be improved for better receiver satisfaction. The proposed auto-encoder is trained with many narrow-bandwidth radio image data; hence it enhances a given distorted image. Also, the results were verified with the original image data being the reference images.

  • Nowadays, automobile manufacturers are faced with increasing global competition which is required low cost as well as high quality. To reduce shipping and handling cost and delivery time, lots of automobile manufactures tried to build their new factory in the neighborhood of market. Simultaneously, many factories are under construction in developing countries to make efficient use of low-wage workers. However, because systems are installed in developing countries as the same type of domestic facilities, systems have lots of problems such as high installation cost and inefficient use of manpower. To find core problems and generate optimal solution of these problems, thinking process of TOC(Theory Of Constrains) is used. In case of transmission gear machining system, semi-auto system is proposed as the best solution to increase manpower efficiency and system utilization. Semi-auto system consists of automatic machining process and manual transporting process. The system layout is generated based on semi-auto process concept. And, 3D simulation method using QUEST is used to verify production volume of generated system.

자동변속기에서의 롤러 베어링 결함 검출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fault Detection of Roller Bearings in the Auto-Transmission)

  • The roller bearings play an important role not only sustain radial or axial load of system, but carry out a rotatory movement as a various operating conditions. They happen that incipient faults which were caused by excessive load, manufacturing or assembling process's errors and many other reasons are created. The bearing faults make noise and vibration by a continuous collision of rotatory components, which can lower the quality and stability of auto-transmission. Therefore, it is important to detect the early fault as soon as possible. This paper presents a detecting method for the improvement in quality by developing the program which can be used to analyze and predict the vibrational characteristics caused by roller bearing faults. We completed development of the inspection system of vibration by appling the most efficient detecting methods and verified the system's reliability through experiments.

실시간 계통시뮬레이터를 이용한 송전계통 자동재폐로 교육 및 훈련 시스템 개발 (Development of Education and Training System for the Auto-Reclosing of Power Transmission System Using a Real Time Digital Simulator)

  • This paper summarizes an education and training system for the auto-reclosing of power transmission system using a real time digital simulator. The system is developed to understand the principle of reclosing and the sequence of automatic reclosing schemes, and practice the effects of reclosing actions to power system in real-time simulator. This study is concentrated into the following two parts. One is the development of real time education and training system of automatic reclosing schemes. For this, we use the RTDS(real time digital simulator) and the actual digital protective relay. The mathematical relay model of RTDS and the actual distance relay which is equipped automatic reclosing function are also used. The other is the user friendly interface between trainee and trainer. The various interface displays are used for user handing and result display. The conditions of automatic reclosing which is a number of reclosing, reclosing dead time, reset time, and so on, can be changed by the user interface panel. A number of scenario cases are reserved for the education and training. Through the test, we verified that the proposed system can be effectively used to accomplish the education and training of automatic reclosing.
