국산 자동차 부품산업의 국제경쟁력 분석에 관한 연구 - 미국시장 수출 집중도 및 경쟁력을 중심으로 - (A Study on the International Competitiveness of Korean Auto Parts Industry - Focus on the Exporting Concentration and Competitiveness in U.S. Market -)

  • Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,

  • It is well known that mobile phones have been a indispensable communication tool for human life. The spiral springs are used as the main component of the semi-auto sliding mechanism of mobile phones. The characteristic of axiomatic approach is scientific and analytical method, and axiomatic approach is different from other design methods in offering the systematic method at an early stage of design. The axiomatic approach could determine design parameter and arrange the order of design and estimate the optimum design in good order. In axiomatic approach, the composition is divided by customer requirement, functional requirement, design parameter, and design matrix in large portion. This paper presents design in sliding mechanism for mobile phones by finite element method and axiomatic design.

  • In today's competitive business environment it is a necessary condition for a company to produce high-quality product for its survival and growth. That is the case in the auto-part industry as well where the international standards, ISO/TS 16949 certification, are required by customers to adopt mandatory. This study presents a successful implementation of quality management system(QMS) in a major auto-part manufacturer in Korea, utilizing SAP's QM(qualaity management) module and a mobile office system. The QMS brought the company "A" a variety of benefits such as real-time availability of product-inspection data, speedy decision-making, reduction in time required for defect-handling, ease of vertical integration of business partners in supply chain, and ease of business process standardization between headquarters and overseas subsidiaries. It is expected that the findings of this study can be used as a useful guideline for companies to consider implementing ERP-based quality management systems successfully.

알루미늄 합금의 균열진전거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Aluminum Alloy on the Crack Growth Behaviour)

  • According to the development of the aircraft industry, the fatigue strength of Aluminum Alloy becomes a great important material, but it seems that we don't understand an effect on the crack growth behaviour very well. This thesis is not only studied about the five kinds of 2017-T3, 2023-T3, 5083-0, 7075-T6, 7N01-T6 among the Aluminum Alloy which are the main materials of the aircraft, but also small or large relations against the fatigue strength of them. The consequence of the research was being progressed the accordance with the order. That is, The order is 2024-T3> 2017-T3> 7N01-T6> 7075-T6> 5083-0. These inclusion came out the acceleration phenomena in the crack growth behaviour among the high ${\Delta}K$ section Nevertheless I figured out their effects were being ignored at the 2b step.

A Study on the Value Added Criterion of Rules of Origin under FTAs with the US and EU: Focusing on Automotive Sector

  • Purpose - This study deals with a strategic plan for meeting the value added criteria effectively, which is one of the methods of determining origin used in preferential trade such as FTA. Automobile products, one of the major Korean export items, were selected to give a practical use against the FTA requirements. Design/methodology - This study is based on the value-added criteria of the Korea-US and Korea-EU FTAs that apply various value-added criteria. The Korea-US FTA adopts the RVC method based on the integration, deduction and net cost methods, while the MC method is employed in the Korea-EU FTA. The methodology used in this work is an extended literature review, analysis of the value-added criteria applied to automobile products under Korea-US and Korea-EU FTA with some secondary statistics. Findings - Based on in - depth analysis of the value - added criteria requirements for automobile products stipulated in the Korea - US FTA and the Korea - EU FTA, two strategic considerations are suggested. First is 'appropriate value-added strategy' and the second is 'strategy of changing production and trade structure'. The second strategy is a bit used in Korea but this is not considered best if the first strategy is ignored or forgotten. The second one is meaningful when this becomes inevitable. Research limitations/implications - This study is primarily designed to assist Korean auto mobile industry players exporting to EU and USA but this may help to auto part or material producers in FTA counter party territories being EU or USA as the preferential tariffs are applied on a inter region basis. A further research other than auto mobiles using other major FTAs might be followed later. Originality/value - There has been so far little research on strategic factors to meet the value-added origin requirements. This study, therefore, is expected to contribute facilitating the decision of FTA origin and to improve the utilization of FTA by allowing exporting companies using value added criterion to more smoothly meet origin requirements. This will also enable the tax authorities to utilize the value-added criterion to validate effectively the origin of imports where preferential tariffs are applied.

  • In these days, environmental concerns have been increased throughout the industry and community worldwide. To prevent the ozone depletion, ozone depletion potential of a refrigerant must be zero. Simultaneously, a refrigerant with low GWP (global warming potential) is very demanding to induce green house effect. Chlorine-free HFC-l34a is a refrigerant widely used for automotive air-conditioning system because its destruction potential is ecologically zero. Although HFC-l34a has no ozone depletion potential, its global warming potential is so high that it is not considered as a perfect alternative refrigerant that is acceptable for long-term use. In this paper, experimental measurement has been carried out to analyze the performance characteristics of automotive air-conditioning system using HFC-152a, which has low GWP and zero ODP. Also mixed refrigerant that is composed of HFC-152a and $CF_3$ was applied to investigate an alternative possibility for the automotive airconditioning system. As a result of this study, we could draw following conclusions; With respect to the variation of the rotational speed of compressor, outside air temperature and flow rate, the heat amount of evaporator and compressor and performance coefficient was varied.

  • 스마트폰에서 인터넷뱅킹, 전자상거래, 업무의 처리 등 국민의 정치, 경제, 사회 실생활의 업무는 사이버 공간에서도 처리된다. 사이버 공간과 실제 공간의 경계가 모호해짐에 따라, 국가의 인프라 시설 관리 및 운영에서도 사이버 테러가 발생하고, 국가 안보위협의 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 국가의 주요 인프라 및 정부 서비스가 정보통신 시스템과 시설로 연계되어 있다. 사이버 테러와 국가 사이버안보에 관한 중대한 위협에 대처하기 위한 법과 제도적 장치로서, 국가사이버안보시스템에 관한 법률체계의 정립이 필요하다. 이를 위해 현재 국회에 계류 중인 사이버안보 관련법을 중심으로 분석과 현행 우리나라의 사이버 관련 법체계와 대별하여 분석하고, 국가사이버안보 컨트롤타워 문제와 국가사이버안보 인력 및 산업육성이 논의되어져야 하며, 사이버테러 대응 체계를 분석하여, 국가 사이버안보 시스템 관련 법률제정의 필요성을 연구한다.

  • 본 연구는 제조업 중에서도 지역성장 및 연관산업에 대한 파급효과가 가장 큰 부문인 자동차 산업을 대상으로 새로운 조립공장 입지가 지역경제의 성장 및 발전에 미치는 영향을 경계지리학적 관점에서 논의했다. 우리 나라의 대표적 신산업지구로 발전하고 있는 광양만권의 율촌 산업단지를 사례로, 한국 최대의 자동차 조림기업인 현대자동차의 새로운 조립공장 입지가 광주 전남의 자동차산업 전반에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 것인지, 그리고 보다 미시적 수준에서 광양만권에 어떠한 파급효과를 초래할 것인지 탐색해보고자 했다. 노동집약적 특성과 자본 및 기술집약적 특성을 동시에 지니는 자동차 조립 및 부품생산 부문을 대상으로 첫째, 조립부문-부품생산부문의 공간적 비공간적 연계 특성을 규명하고 둘께, 광주 전남지역 자동차산업의 현 주소 및 이에 대한 신설 조립공장의 파급효과를 분석하며 셋째, 신설 조립공장 입지에 따른 광양만권 역내의 부품산업 발전 가능성을 전망함으로써 지역개발의 파급효과를 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 모색해보고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.
