호스피스 자원봉사자의 죽음에 대한 태도와 감성지능이 생의 의미에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Death Attitudes and Emotional Intelligence On Hospice Volunteers' Perception of Life as meaningful)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of emotional intelligence and attitudes about death on hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful. Methods: In this study, 232 hospice volunteers who were serving at 3 university hospitals and 7 general hospitals for 6 months or longer. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from January 20 to February 15, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent-tests, one way ANOVAs, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analyses with SPSS 21.0. Results: Hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful was positively correlated with their attitudes toward death and emotional intelligence. The significant predictors of perception of meaning were emotional intelligence, attitudes toward death, religion and perceived health status. These variables explained 41.0% of the variance in hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful. Conclusion: These results suggest that hospice volunteers perceptions of life as meaningful can be changed positively by increasing emotional intelligence and positive attitudes about death.

노인의 재혼연구 (A Study on the elderly remarriage)

  • Researches found that the attitude of adult married children played an important role for the satisfaction and stability of the elderly remarriage. Therefore this study focused on the children's perception of the elderly remarriage. The results were as follows: Sex was found to be influential to elderly remarriage. Males were more positive than females. The degree of sex-stereotyping and supporting experience of the elderly parents were found to influence on children's perception. adult children positively perceived elderly remarriage as giving emotional satisfaction mutual-dependence and liveliness or freedom of later life. Meanwile they negatively considered elderly remarriage mainly because of traditional public attitudes toward remarriage difficulties of adaptation with step-familes and financial or legal conflicts. Adult children regarded health character financial independence and children's agreement level as the most considerate factors whereas the elderly the adaptati n among step-family members marital adaptaion and public attitudes toward their remarriage.

환경 문제 지각의 주관성 : 확실성과 체험가능성 (Subjectivity in perception of environmental issues and its implications for environmental education)

  • This study was designed to find answers for the two questions that had been raised in the study of Lee and Fortner(2000): 1) How can the appropriateness of classification of environmental issues by perceived certainty and 2) How are perceived certainty, tangibility, significance of environmental issues and willingness to act to solve those problems related to each other\ulcorner A questionnaire consisted of 40 questions was administered to 144 college students. Results of the study revealed that classification through cluster analysis appeared to be more appropriate and credible than classification by mean scores or medians. Four major factors were found to have high positive correlations to each other as hypothesized. These results imply for environmental educations that people's attitude toward and behavior on environmental problems are likely to be more strongly and meaningfully associated with their perceptions of those problems that are subjective and flexible than physical or chemical characteristics of the problems that are frequently considered as objective.

모 브랜드와 확장된 브랜드의 브랜드 이미지, 광고 이미지 일치도에 따른 브랜드 태도 (How consistency of brand image and advertising image for parent and extended brands affects brand attitude)

  • This study investigated how consumers perceive brand image, the consistency between the images of parent brands and extended brands, the consistency of their advertising images, the differences between brand image and advertising image, and how consumers' brand attitudes change based on those differences. An online survey was administered to women in their 20s and 30s who often use cosmetics and are interested in brands. The brands considered in this research were Chanel, Dior, Armani, and Anna Sui, which have extended brands in the clothing and cosmetics areas. In terms of consumers' perception of brand image, it was found that clothing and cosmetic brands were perceived similarly. In addition, significant differences were found in consumers' preferences and purchase intentions of clothing and cosmetic brands, and those whose perceptions of brand image did not change or increased after looking at advertising images had more positive brand attitudes than the group of people who had higher perception of brand image before looking at advertising images. Therefore, in terms of brand extension, it was revealed that the image of a parent brand affected an extended brand, and that the higher was consumers' recognition of brand image through advertising, the more positive was their attitude toward the brand.

'역군은(亦君恩)' 표현과 경험의 세계 -관념적 표현의 교육적 자질에 대한 소고(小考)- (The Expression 'Yeok-goon-eun[亦君恩]' and the World of Experience)

  • This study aims at searching for educational quality of abstract expression from the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun'[亦君恩/ also the king's mercy] which appears frequently in the classics. I clarified that the expression can be used to mean not only eulogy and missing the king, which is a conventional phrase, but also cynicism or excuse for oneself, curative response and so forth. In other words, the symbol, 'Yeok-goon-eun', has a variety of meanings according to readers and contexts. Like the example of the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun', the expressions of the classics in itself imply deep meanings to experience. They do not correspond to contemporary words which are familiar to current readers. Thus, the expressions of the classics have to be experienced by learners. In specific, 'Yeok-goon-eun' provides the present learners with special experience such as perception and attitude about the world, relationship between the nature and human beings, and cultural practices which attribute to the other. Such perspective of experience has been focussed on that the expressions in the classics have the world of understanding and recognition which is quite different from the present beyond the side of communication and delivery. It offers significant viewpoint in relation to value and quality of classic literature education.

  • Purpose - This study aims to analyze the relationship between perceived risk, privacy concerns, continual intention to use of Fintech services. Design/methodology/approach - This research developed a conceptual framework using attitude theory and analyzed the relationship between risk perception to Fintech services, Fintech concerns(service concern, platform concern, network concern, device concern, and privacy concern), and continual use in the context of Fintech services. In this study, Data analyzed using the PLS(partial least squares) structural equation model approach. Findings - As a result of empirical analysis, Fintech risk perception affected service concern, platform concern, network concern, device concern, and privacy concern. In addition, it was found that privacy risk did not affect continual use of Fintech services. In addition, among Fintech service concerns, platform concern, network concern, and privacy concern did not affect continual use of Fintech services. However, only device concern affected the intention to continual use of Fintech services. Research implications or Originality - The results will help to understand the psychology of Fintech service users and develop more stable Fintech services continual use strategies.

고등학생들의 학교 외모규제에 대한 지각 및 태도 (Students' Perception of and Attitude toward Appearance Regulations of High Schools)

  • 중고등학생들의 인권침해에 대한 사회적 관심이 커져가면서 많은 중고등학교에서 시행하고 있는 외모규제에 대한 문제가 관심의 초점이 되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 서울시 고등학교에서의 외모규제에 대하여 학생들이 어떻게 지각하고 있는가를 조사하기 위한 데 있다. 서울시의 6개 남녀공학 고등학교에 재학 중인 $1{\sim}2$학년생 866명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 학생들에게 50개의 외모관련 항목들을 제시하고 각 항목들에 대한 규제 강도와 중요성에 대한 지각과 준수도를 질문하였다. 학생들의 강도 지각, 중요도 지각, 준수도에 따라 50개의 세부 규제 항목을 분류해 본 결과 규제의 강도가 높은 항목이라도 학생들의 중요도 인식이 높아야 준수도가 높았다. 규제의 강도가 낮게 지각된 항목들에 대해서도 학생들이 중요도를 지각하는 경우 자발적으로 준수하고 있는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 외모규제에 대한 강도 지각, 중요도 지각, 준수도에 미치는 개인적 특성의 영향을 살펴본 결과, 강도 지각에는 성별, 학년, 성적과 관련이 있었고, 중요도 지각의 경우 성별, 지역, 용돈, 성적과 상관이 있었다. 준수도의 경우 성별, 지역, 학년, 용돈이 상관을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 남학생이 여학생보다 강도는 높게 중요도는 낮게 지각하는 데 비해 준수도는 높았고, 강북학생일수록, 용돈이 적을수록, 성적이 낮을수록 규제 강도를 높게 지각하고 중요도를 낮게 지각하였으며 준수도가 높았다. 본 연구는 교사들과 교육행정 종사자들에게 중요한 시사점을 갖는다. 학교에서 학생들에게 외모관련 항목들의 중요성을 잘 인식시키거나 학생들의 시각을 반영하는 방식으로 외모관련 규제를 바꾸어 나가는 것이 이러한 외모규제를 보다 효율적으로 만드는 방법 일 것이다.

간호대학생의 의약품 자가투약 실태, 약물에 대한 지식 및 태도에 관한 연구 (Knowledge and Attitude about Drugs and the Current Status of Self-medication of Nursing Students)

  • Background: Nursing college students are exposed to information about diseases or drugs, and are likely to have a distorted perception of drug knowledge or behavior. The study aimed to identify knowledge and attitude about drugs and current status of self-medication among nursing students. Methods: The subjects were 172 nursing students from a university in Busan. Data were collected with structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS 23.0. Results: Nursing students had a high level of knowledge about drugs, but attitudes toward drugs were relatively low. 83.7% of patients had experience of self-medication. The methods to acquire information for self-administration were 29.9% by smart phone and 27.1% by internet. The use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) among self-medication drugs was the highest. The most common reason for self-medication was 'I thought it to be a mild disease', and the pharmacists were the most affected by choice of self-medication. The knowledge about drugs was statistically significant according to grade, school life satisfaction and subjective health status. The attitudes about medication were statistically significant according to grade and self-medication experience. Conclusion: Nursing college students need drug safety education to improve awareness and practice of correct drug use.

청소년이 인식한 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 자아존중감, 삶의 만족도 간의 종단적 관계: 자기회귀교차지연모형의 적용 (Longitudinal Relationship between Negative Parenting Attitudes Perceived by Adolescents, Self-Esteem, and Life Satisfaction: Application of the Autoregressive Cross-Lagged Model)

  • 본 연구는 청소년기 자녀가 인식하는 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 개인의 자아존중감, 삶의 만족이 상호간에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국 아동·청소년 패널조사(KCYPS) 2018년 자료 중 중학교 1학년 패널의 1차~3차년도 자료를 이용하였고, 변수들 간의 종단적 인과관계의 방향을 결정하는데 유용한 자기회귀교차모형을 적용하여 종단적 상호관련성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 청소년이 인식한 부모의 부정적 양육태도, 자아존중감, 삶의 만족도가 각각 이후 시점의 부정적 양육태도 인식, 자아존중감, 삶의 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 이전 시점의 부정적 양육태도를 높게 인식할수록 이후의 자아존중감이나 삶의 만족이 유의하게 낮았고, 이전 시점의 자아존중감이 높을수록 이후 시점의 삶의 만족이 유의하게 높았다. 삶의 만족이 높을수록 부모의 부정적 양육태도는 더 낮게 인식하였고, 자아존중감은 높았다. 부모의 부정적 양육태도에 대한 인식은 청소년의 자아존중감을 낮추는 반면 자아존중감에서 부정적 양육태도 인식으로 가는 교차지연계수는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 청소년기의 부정적 양육태도 인식과 자아존중감, 삶의 만족도 간의 종단적인 관련성을 확인하였고, 청소년의 긍정적 자아존중감 형성과 삶의 만족도 증진을 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

병원직원들의 죽음 및 호스피스 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hospital Staff's Perception of Death and Hospice)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the hospital staff's perception of hospice and death and thereby, suggest the ways to help them have a mature attitude towards and a better understanding of death through an effective education on hospice. For this purpose, this study was designed to provide some data useful for the hospital staff not experienced in facing the dying patients to handle the desperate situation skillfully and engage themselves more effectively in their hospice services. For this study, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey for the staff of 'C' hospital in Seoul about their hospice philosophy, attitudes towards hospice and perception of death for the period from February, 2006 to March, 2006. A total of 751 subjects responded effectively to the survey. The data collected were analyzed using the SF55 11.0 for ANOVA and T-test in order to test the relationships among subjects' perception of death, their demographic variables, their health condition, their hospice philosophy formed from their experiences of patients' death and hospice services and their attitudes towards hospice. Besides, the correlations among their hospice philosophy, perception of death and attitudes towards hospice were tested. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, as a result of testing the relationships among subjects' experiences of health consulting. their experiences of patients' death and hospice and their hospice philosophy, it was confirmed that their experiences of health and death consulting and their experiences of having been educated were relevant. Second, it was found that such variables as health condition, death, experience of hospice and attitude towards hospice were not significantly correlated with each other. Third, as a consequence of testing the relationships among health condition, death, experience of hospice and perception of death, it was disclosed that only the physical health condition was significant. Fourth, it was confirmed that subjects' hospice philosophy, perception of death and attitudes towards hospice were at the usual level on average. Fifth, hospice philosophy, perception of death and attitudes towards hospice were found correlated significantly with each other. Sixth, as a result of the stepwise variable adjustment for such variables as hospice philosophy, perception of death, attitudes towards hospice, it was found that the adjusted r-square value was 0.347 when departments, experience of having been requested by dying patient for consulting, experience of having been educated on hospice, religion and marital status were set as independent variables. And the estimated value of each variable was found significant. Seventh, as a consequence of conducting the multiple regression analysis by setting 'religion' as significant independent variable, it was found that the estimated value of physical health condition was not significant statistically. This, as a result of the simple regression analysis for 'religion' only, its explanatory power was found .197, while its adjusted r-square value was 0.20. Eight, it was found that subjects' attitude towards hospice was significantly correlated with such variables of experience of patient's or relative's death, experience of having been requested for consulting about death, gender, marital status and departments. As a result of the multiple regression analysis and the subsequent stepwise adjustment for this variable, it was found that only 'experience of having been requested for consulting' had some explanatory power: its adjusted r-square value was 0.089. As discussed above, this study tested the correlations among various variables including hospital staff's attitude towards hospice and perception of death and thereby, provided for the data useful for their education on hospice. This study may be significant in that it proved that it would be essential to educate hospital staff on hospice for more effective care of hospice patients and their family members at hospital.
