  • A pair of multiobjective generalized symmetric dual non-linear programming problems and weak strong and converse dual-ity theorems for these problems are established under generalized $\rho-(\eta,0)$-invexity assumptions. Several known results are obtained as special cases.

  • In this paper, we introduce two kinds of generalized vector quasivariational-like inequalities for multivalued mappings and show the existence of solutions to those variational inequalities under compact and non-compact assumptions, respectively.

  • This paper shows the case study of risk analysis in an weapon system research and development project. For risk analysis, an advanced stochastic networking technique-VERT (Venture Evaluation and Review Technique) is used. Assumptions for activities of network diagram and conversion methods from PERT ( Program Evaluation and Review Technique) to VERT are discussed. Also, simulation result is presented and discussed.

  • In this note, we obtain the central limit theorem for linearly positive quadrant dependent random fields satisfying some assumptions on the covariances and the moment condition $supE\mid X_i\mid^3\;<{\infty}$ The proofs are similar to those of a central limit theorem for associated random field of Cox and Grimmett.

  • Kernel estimates of an unknown regression function are studied. Bandwidth selection rule minimizing integrated absolute error loss function is considered. Under some reasonable assumptions, it is shown that the optimal bandwidth is unique and can be computed by using bisection algorithm. Adaptive bandwidth selection rule is proposed.

  • Under the certain assumptions, we derive the recursive formula for the predictive probabilities that a new patient will survive up to the time, conditional on the data. The formula for a new patient is extended to obtain the computational algorithms for the predictive probabilties for several new patients. We correct Genest and Kalbfleisch's approach for several new patients, since we find that their approach is incorrect.

  • This paper is concerned with the necessary conditions of the optimal boundary control for some chemotaxis equations. We obtain the existence and the necessary conditions of the optimal boundary control in the space $(H^1(0,T))^2$. Moreover, under some assumptions, we show the uniqueness of the optimal control.

  • In this paper, we consider nonsmooth optimization problem of which objective and constraint functions are locally Lipschitz. We establish sufficient optimality conditions and duality results for nonsmooth vector optimization problem given under nearly strict invexity and near invexity-infineness assumptions.
