  • 지하수자원의 최적관리기법은 사전에 잠재오염원으로 부터 지하수를 보호하면서 이를 최적상태로 개발 이용하는 것이다. 특히 지하수 보호전략중 미국의 지하수 보호전략과 지하수자원의 오염취약성 평가법애 대해 중점적으로 연구하였다.이러한 제반 전략들은 국내 지하수자원의 관리기법에현재 이용되고 있기도 하며 추후 활용되어야 한다.

  • In summary, air pollution issues in the United States are addressed by a core group of regulations supplemented by active Interventions as needed by public health agencies. The strategies employed by public health officials must be flexible and innovative to address the needs of the citizens, As you can see from the examples cited above, the collaboration of public health agencies can be critical in protecting communities from adverse exposures. In the US state and local governments have the primary responsibility for health and safety issues, including those associated with air pollution. The federal agencies have responsibilities when activities between states are involved and or the issues are of national significance. Significant challenges and opportunities remain to identify the relationship to air pollution and other environmental factors and the incidence of disease, and hence develop and implement Intervention strategies.

  • 본 논문에서는 대학교육과 대학도서관의 상호 관련적 기능을 고찰하고 대학도서관의 운영상의 문제점과 발전계획을 수립하기 위하여 K 대학 학부생을 표본 집단으로 하여 설문지를 통하여 이용자 만족도를 조사 분석하였다. 만족도에 나타난 내용은 이용자의 요구사항의 달성도로 보고 대학도서관 개선책을 모색하는 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하였으며 대학도서관의 발전적 운영계획을 세우는데 중요한 평가척도로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Operation of KORAIL's level crossing is in charge of KORAIL. As taking over existing level crossing to KORAIL, they do not conduct risk assessments, so we do not know about any possibilities of inner risk. And present operation of safety of the level crossing is just regular checking of reaction and functions of safety equipments physically, we need to react to the changes of what's going on around of level crossing and incestigation of traffic flow and surrounding conditions more spontaneously. So, we have to prepare the strategies against accidents of level crossing cost-effectively based on regular risk assessments for sustainable safety improvements and overcome operational problems of present level crossing's safety. Here, we're going to investigate the level of safety level and present risk factors of the level crossing using risk assessments for accidents/error of the equipments to show operational strategies of level crossing based on risk assessments.

  • The Purpose of this paper is to suggest sustainable strategies of the project for developing large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LSEAD). This study used assessment 3 indicators, efficiency, impact and sustainability of environment-friendly agricultural certification area and farmers, management situations of crop-livestock circulation center, educations for environment-friendly farming, changes of farmer's income and so on. This project has contributed to develop environment- friendly agriculture and model of LSEAD. And for sustainable development of LSEAD, it is necessary to renovate crop-livestock circulation centers, promote organic farming of resource-circulation type, converse to non-pesticide or organic farming of low pesticide one, do active marketing activities, establish a governance system of business projects and so forth.

For purpose, the reason and agent for change, the models and stages of change, the strategies for change process, and the barriers and facilitators of change are discussed. The strategic system is divided into two parts: planning and implementing. Planning includes need & resource assessment, and research & project office. Implementing includes program implementation, monitoring & feedback, communication, and barriers & facilitators. This study from literature review can be used preliminary test to the cultural change process of workplace.

  • Long Term Asset Management(LTAM) means a plan developed by using LCM(Life Cycle Management) process for optimum life cycle management of significant plant assets at each plant across the fleet. As a part of development of LTAM Strategies on nuclear turbines, a method so as to determine the future failure rates for low pressure turbine facilities at a nuclear plant was studied and developed by using both plant specific and industry-wide performance data. INPO's EPIX data were analyzed and some failure rate evaluation values considering preventive maintenance practices were calculated by using EPRI's PM Basis software. As the result, failure rate functions applicable to a priori and a posteriori replacement of low pressure turbines at a nuclear plant were developed and utilized in an assessment of economics of LCM alternatives on the nuclear turbine facilities in the respects of 40-year and 60-year operation bases.

  • Muscle wasting in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) is an escalating issue due to the increasing global prevalence of ESRD and its significant clinical impact, including a close association with elevated mortality risk. The phenomenon of muscle wasting in ESRD, which exceeds the rate of muscle loss observed in the normal aging process, arises from multifactorial processes. This review paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of muscle wasting in ESRD, covering its epidemiology, underlying molecular mechanisms, and current and emerging therapeutic interventions. It delves into the assessment techniques for muscle mass and function, before exploring the intricate metabolic and molecular pathways that lead to muscle atrophy in ESRD patients. We further discuss various strategies to mitigate muscle wasting, including nutritional, pharmacological, exercise, and physical modalities intervention. This review seeks to provide a solid foundation for future research in this area, fostering a deeper understanding of muscle wasting in ESRD, and paving the way for the development of novel strategies to improve patient outcomes.

과학영재학교 교수활동에 관한 학생인식 및 과학수업에서 상호작용 유형 (Students' Perception of Teaching Activities and Verbal Interaction in Science Classes at the Gifted Science High School)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학영재학교 재학생을 대상으로 과학영재학교의 교수활동에 관한 학생의 인식을 밝히고 과학과 실험수업의 실제 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 과학과 교육과정 편제 및 운영, 교수$\cdot$학습방법 평가 방법에 관한 설문 결과와 과학과 실험수업에서의 언어적 상호작용 유형을 분석하였다. 과학영재학교 교육과정 편제 및 운영에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사한 결과, 심화선택과목의 학점 비중을 더 높여야 한다는 의견과 보통교과의 학점을 줄이고 수학 및 과학 교과의 학점을 늘려야 한다는 의견이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 과학영재학교 과학과 수업시사간에 주로 사용되는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 조별수업, 토론이 대다수를 차지하였고 학생들이 선호하는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 토론 외에도 탐구학습, 개인연구, 문제해결학습 등 다양하게 나타났다. 그리고 학생들이 선호하는 평가방법은 지필 평가와 보고서평가, 실험 평가의 순으로 나타났다. 과학영재학교 과학실험 수업에서 상호작용 유형을 분석한 결과, 교사 질문의 수준에 따라 교사-학생 상호작용 유형이 다르게 나타났고, 실험과정 중에는 학생-학생 상호작용에 의해 탐구활동이 활성화되었다.

신의료기술에 대한 진료비 지불: 외국사례와 시사점 (Implications of Price Setting Strategies for New Health Technologies from Five Countries)

  • This study aims to compare the experience of selected countries in operating separate payment system for new healthcare technology and to find implications for price setting in Korea. We analyzed the related reports, papers, laws, regulations, and related agencies' online materials from five selected countries including the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and France. Each country has its own additional payment system for new technologies: transitional pass-through payment and new technology ambulatory payment classification for outpatient care and new technology add-on payment for inpatient care (USA), an extra payment for materials with new functions or new treatment (C1, C2; Japan), an additional payment system for new special treatment materials (Taiwan), a short-term extra funding for new diagnosis and treatment (NUB; Germany), and list of additional payments for new medical devices (France). The technology should be proven safe and effective in order to get approval for an additional payment. The price is determined by considering the actual cost of providing the technology and the cost of existing similar technologies listed in the benefits package. The revision cycle of the additional payment is 1 to 4 years. The cost or usage is monitored during that period and then integrated into the existing fee schedule or removed from the list. We conclude that it is important to set the explicit criteria to select services eligible for additional payment, to collect and analyze data to assess eligibility and to set the payment, to monitor the usage or cost, and to make follow-up measures in price setting for new health technologies in Korea.
