Analytical Evaluation of Airborne Noise for the Building Structure' on Railway Transportation Systems (철도부지 상부 입체 건축물의 공기전달음 소음 예측)

  • The useful practical land shall be reserved when an artificial land covers the railway and road. However, the problem is that since the artificial land places directly on the top of noise sources likely on the railway and road there will arise the weak points, noise and vibration. On this study based on creating the artificial land on the top of a railway vehicle base and placing a tenement on that land, it was comprehended the noise influence from the railway car through the simulation. In order to secure the input value for the simulation, at first measured the noise condition of the railway station building and the railway vehicle base. The output value for the railway station building (place A) was around (53.6~57.6) dB(A), the equivalent continuous sound level for an hour, and for the railway station building (place B) it was around (63.7~68.9) dB. The maximum outdoor noise of the tenement on the artificial land was measured as 64.1 dB(A) under the fixed condition on the simulation modeling. The built purpose of placing the artificial land to prevent the noise influence from the railway met the expectation to be less influenced on the tenement. Rather, because of placing the artificial land the noise level on the lower space could be increased so there requires having a noise control.

A Study on Decentralized Rainwater Management by Analysing the Spacial Properties in Urban Housing Complexes (공동주택단지의 공간적 특성 분석을 통한 분산식 빗물관리 방향 설정)

  • Until today, rainwater management was processed without disposing the peak discharge, which was due to rainfall, to provide stability against flood damage. In this process, the natural hydrologic cycle changed quickly, and because of this, some problems that could harm human beings and the environment arose. These problems need to be addressed accordingly. One of the proposals was to carry out decentralized rainwater management through a natural hydrologic cycle on site, including utilization, infiltration, detention, and retention of rainwater. This study aims to set the direction of applicable decentralized rainwater management to housing complex in Korea. Therefore, spacial properties in urban housing complexes were analysed such as the impervious area-to-land ratio, the green area-to-land ratio, artificial land-to-land ratio etc. As the result of this study, when a housing complex was small and developed by reconstruction, the impervious area, artificial land, the green area in the artificial land-to-land ratio were high. So, direction of decentralized rainwater management of these housing complexes is available to utilize and detain rainwater. On the other hand, those of big housing complexes in land development district were low relatively. So, direction of decentralized rainwater management of these housing complexes is available to infiltrate and evaporate rainwater.

Effect of Algal Bloom Control Using the Mesocosms Installed with Zooplankton, Fishes, Aquatic Macrophytes and Artificial Marshy Land in Kyungan Stream (경기도 경안천에 설치한 메소코즘 내에서의 동물플랑크톤, 어류, 수생식물, 인공식물섬에 의한 조류저감효과 연구)

  • We installed mesocosms including zooplankton, fishs, artificial marshy land and aquatic macrophytes in Kyoungan stream to study the reduction effects of algae from Sep. 16 to Oct. 28, 2011. The control tendency of phytoplankton taxa was compared by analyzing community structure and dominant species in each mesocosm. Under the condition where Bluegill was absent, Daphnia similoides showed good effect of algal control since it has large food area and has high grazing pressure. Bluegill selectively preys upon large zooplankton, Daphnia similoides, as it also preys on small zooplanktons that flow in. In condition that Bluegill was absent, Daphnia similoides preyed selectively large phytoplankton (Cryptomonas ovata). Due to the shading of light, removal of nutrients and providing refuge for small zooplanktons, aquatic macrophytes and artificial marshy land showed high level of algal control. In corrals with aquatic macrophytes and artificial marshy land, the dominancy of genus Coelastrum and Pediastrum, which are difficult for small zooplanktons to feed on, relatively increased. In conclusion, under conditions of small number of predators such as Bluegill, Daphnia similoides is thought to be useful in algal bloom; however, when lots of predators are present, using small sized zooplanktons along with artificial marshy land and aquatic macrophytes is thought to be more useful than using large zooplanktons.

  • This study systematized synthetically to use internet GIS and real estate appraisal method in computing system for the real estate decision. First, indicated the method of using GIS and databases to appraise the real estate by using the cost approach. Second, used the artificial neural network to predict the change of land prices and the artificial neural network convinced us that it indicates easily the result of land prices without complicated processes. Third, examined land prices using the artificial neural network but there is limits for the land price prediction because of difficult data gathering. also, this study may heighten information levels of the real estate field according to 21th century information level if use actively a internet, information users who should pay much moneys in existent real estate decisions may can approach easily.

A Study of Establishment and application Algorithm of Artificial Intelligence Training Data on Land use/cover Using Aerial Photograph and Satellite Images (항공 및 위성영상을 활용한 토지피복 관련 인공지능 학습 데이터 구축 및 알고리즘 적용 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine ways to increase efficiency in constructing and verifying artificial intelligence learning data on land cover using aerial and satellite images, and in applying the data to AI learning algorithms. To this end, multi-resolution datasets of 0.51 m and 10 m each for 8 categories of land cover were constructed using high-resolution aerial images and satellite images obtained from Sentinel-2 satellites. Furthermore, fine data (a total of 17,000 pieces) and coarse data (a total of 33,000 pieces) were simultaneously constructed to achieve the following two goals: precise detection of land cover changes and the establishment of large-scale learning datasets. To secure the accuracy of the learning data, the verification was performed in three steps, which included data refining, annotation, and sampling. The learning data that wasfinally verified was applied to the semantic segmentation algorithms U-Net and DeeplabV3+, and the results were analyzed. Based on the analysis, the average accuracy for land cover based on aerial imagery was 77.8% for U-Net and 76.3% for Deeplab V3+, while for land cover based on satellite imagery it was 91.4% for U-Net and 85.8% for Deeplab V3+. The artificial intelligence learning datasets on land cover constructed using high-resolution aerial and satellite images in this study can be used as reference data to help classify land cover and identify relevant changes. Therefore, it is expected that this study's findings can be used in the future in various fields of artificial intelligence studying land cover in constructing an artificial intelligence learning dataset on land cover of the whole of Korea.

  • This study focused on 15 parks to investigate the actual developmental conditions for preservation type parks and artificial type parks in the 9 residential land development sites managed by the Korea Land Corporation in Daegu and Gyeongsangbukdo area from 1994 to 2002. Emphasis is placed upon the types of land use, park arrangements, park facilities, types of planted trees and landscaping expense, with a view to discovering ways of improving the efficiency of future park development.

Comparison of Thermal Environment and Biotope Area Rate according to Land Cover Types of Outside Space of School located in Chung-ju (충주시 학교외부공간 피복유형에 따른 온열환경 및 생태면적률 비교)

  • This study was conducted to be used as basic data of environmental friendly construction planning by comparing and analyzing thermal environment, find particles and biotope area rate according to land cover types of outside space of schools located in Chung-ju. When meteorological factors were analyzed according to land cover types, for temperature planting area and paved area showed low-and high-temperature ranges, respectively, and relative humidity was negatively related with temperature as low-and high-temperature ranges corresponded to high-and low-humidity ranges, respectively. For Wet Bulb Globe Temperature Index (WBGT) by land cover types, it was observed to be artificial grass> bare land> natural grass. Find particles were different according to land cover types of playground with being bare land> artificial grass> natural grass in the order. Bare land playground, where there were artificial factors and no absorption of fine particles through stomata of leaves as a function of natural circulation, recorded the highest level of $39.8\;{\mu}g/m^3$ and the level was relatively higher compared to the levels by season in Chung-ju. Biotope area rate showed the order of M elementary school> K elementary school> C commercial high school. That was considered to be caused by the difference of land cover type of school playground accounting for a large part of a school.

Proposal of biodiversity recovery plan through the creation of reclaimed wetland (간척지 습지 조성을 통한 생물다양성 회복 방안 제안)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the ecological impact of wetlands by changing the species diversity of benthic macroinvertebrates and birds following the creation of an artificial wetland with a size of 30 m*30 m on bare land in reclaimed land in Haenam-gun, Korea. We investigated monthly fauna of benthic macroinvertebrates and birds in and outside wetlands and physicochemical indicators for 7 months from March to September 2014. During the study period, the water temperature and dissolved oxygen levels were consistently higher in wetlands than lakes. Many species of benthic macroinvertebrates were observed in summer (16 species in July) due to seasonal effects, and the species diversity index was highest in July and then gradually decreased. Thirteen species of birds were observed in March, 6 species in April, 5 species in July, and 1 species in June, where most winter birds and migratory birds were observed around wetlands in spring. The species diversity index also decreased after being high in July except for spring. This suggests that the abiotic environment in the wetland can be improved by creating an artificial wetland in the reclaimed land, and the increase in benthic macroinvertebrates can ultimately be a basic direction to restore the wetland ecosystem in the reclaimed land.

  • In order to acquire a wide range of land that changes in real time and quickly and accurately grasp it, we plan to utilize the recently released high-resolution S.Korea's satellite image data and artificial intelligence (AI). Compared to existing satellite images, the spectral and periodic resolutions of S.Korea's satellite are higher, making them a more suitable data source for periodically monitoring changes in land. Therefore, this study aims to acquire S.Korea's satellite, select 8 types of objects to detect land changes, construct data sets for them, and apply AI models to analyze them. In order to confirm the optimal model and variable conditions for detecting 8 types of objects of various types, several experiments are performed and AI-based image analysis is technically reviewed.

Improvement Plan for Artificial Ground Landscaping of Underground Parking Lot in Apartment Complex (공동주택단지 인공지반 식재환경 개선방안)

  • Most planting grounds have converted to the artificial ground of the upper part of underground parking lot in apartment complex recently by increasing utilization of underground parking area. This study has examined the composition of each ground and planting status. The study presents problems of planting plans in artificial ground landscaping in apartment complex. This study has conducted reference and field research. It has researched green space planning, planting characteristics and measures condition of soil depth in 3 regions surveyed. The results are listed below. First, hybrid ground has the highest percentage and natural soils has the lowest percentage in the composition of green space in apartment complex. Artificial green space is composed of a number of small-scale grounds. Second, The study has found that planting characteristics don't reflect soil properties. On the other hand, planting deep rooting big arbors has a high proportion in artificial Ground. Third, the study has figured out 98% of fit in minimum soil depth for growth. Fourth, planters and landscaping stones are constructed in case of small green space. On the other hand, mounding is constructed in case of large green space. However in case of mounding types it has low fit, so it needs to improve this problem.
