Laparoscopic gastrectomy has been widely accepted especially in patients with early-stage gastric cancer. However, the safety and oncologic validity of laparoscopic gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer are still being debated. Since the late 90s', we have been engaged in developing a stable and robust methodology of laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer, and have established laparoscopic distinctive technique for suprapancreatic lymph node dissection, namely the outermost layer-oriented medial approach. In this article, We present the development history of this method, and current status and future perspectives of laparoscopic gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer based on our experience and a review of the literature.

This article aimed at understanding the characteristics of Swedish furniture design since 1980s in the reference to the major paradigm changes in the contemporary design field. For this, the authors examined the theoretical background of modern and post-modern design paradigms to identify today's design tendencies. And we used this frame in the analysis of the latest examples of Swedish furniture design. The main characteristics of Swedish furniture design since 1980s included 'furniture as art object', 'the succession of the Swedish Modern (neo-modernism)', and 'conscious design for sustainable development'. These could be viewed as the consequences of the choices that the Swedish furniture industry and designers made during the last decade, that was to take plurality and contradiction as the accompanying values of the traditional Swedish modern design.

The successful implementation of various Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems has provoked considerable interest in this subject over the last few years. The senior management, especially in large corporations have been attracted to look at new information technology and how to leverage it for corporate survival and to gain competitive advantage in volatile business environment. Although there is no shortage of positive reports on the success of ERP installations, many companies have invested millions of dollars in this direction with little to show for its success. Since many of the ERP failures today can be attributed to inadequate planning and poor execution in the implementation and closure of projects. The aim of this article is to offer some solutions to avert potential pitfalls in ERP implementation.

The article reports the synthesis and enantiomeric recognition of a new chiral azophenolic pyridino-18-crown-6 ether, (S,S)-6, possessing diphenyl groups as chiral barriers. The association constants for the enantiomeric recognition of chiral primary amines (7-12) using chiral azophenolic pyridino-18-crown-6 ether, (S,S)-6, were determined by UV-visible titration method in acetonitrile at $25{^{\circ}C}$.

This article is concerned with cost analysis in stepdown warranty policy. The repair of item is divided into two policies. First, perfect repair can be considered that the failurerate is the same as new item. Second, minimal repair is shown that the failurerate is the same as just before the item failure In this paper, the minimal repair model is introduced. And it is assumed that manufacturers repair the item failure within the warranty periodn. But warranty period is not renewed at all. At this point the warranty cost is analyzed in manufacturer's and customer's point of view.

The purpose of this article is to report a case of internal derangement of TMJ which was successfully managed with surgical and occlusal treatment. The Obtained results were summarized as follow: 1. The patient surgically operated via high condylectomy with meniscoplasty to correct anteriorly displaced meniscus. 2. During operation, the junction area of bilamina zone and meniscus was easily identified and resected using microscopy. 3. The mandible was relocated into therapeutic position with occlusal splint. 4. The occlusal rehabilitation with selective grinding and prosthodontic treatment was done so that the new patient's intercuspal position should correspond to the therapeutic position.

This article describes the orthodontic treatment of a 25-year-old Korean female patient with anterior crowding, including palatally displaced lateral incisors. Her facial profile was satisfactory, but 3.5 mm of maxillary anterior crowding was observed. To correct this crowding, we decided to minimize the use of the conventional fixed orthodontic appliances and employed a less bulky and more aesthetic appliance for applying light continuous force. We determined the final positions of the maxillary teeth via a working model for diagnostic set up and achieved space gaining and alignment with simple Ni-Ti spring and stainless steel round tubes. Tooth alignment was achieved efficiently and aesthetically without the conventional brackets.

This article introduces the conceptual framework of self-efficacy and reviewes recent research articles which are related to development of self-efficacy in children. Self-efficacy means personal judgement about one's capability to organize his behavior in a specific situation. Perceived efficacy can have diverse effects on behavior, thought patterns and affective arousal. People acquire their efficacy information from their performance accomplishments, vicarious experiences, verbal persuasion and their physiological states. In this paper, I argue that two factors, psychological and environmental factor, contribute to the development of children's self-efficacy. Specifically reward, attributional feedback, social comparision and goal setting are classified to psychological factor and home environment, school environment and social environment belong to environmental factor. Since not many studies have been done in this area, in this paper I also suggest some directions for future research.

In this article, we deal with the uniqueness problems of meromorphic functions concerning differential polynomials and prove the following theorem. Let f and g be two nonconstant meromorphic functions, n ≥ 12 a positive integer. If fⁿ(f³ - 1)f′ and gⁿ(g³ - 1)g′ share (1, 2), f and g share ∞ IM, then f ≡ g. In recent years, young customers whose priority are on rationality and practicality of products and set a high value on space usage and storage efficiency have shown larger interest in knocked down furniture, thus its purchase has been on the rise. A baby bed design utilizing knocked down system suggested in this article, allows simple assembly and disassembly, easy transportation, easy movement, and also possible to recycle. Using laminated wood made of Douglas fir, a natural material, a baby bed is designed as knocked down structure. Its prototype is made to suggest easy assembly and disassembly design, which does not require any hardware. If efforts are put on the research of furniture design and its product development, focusing on the applicable usage and strength of knocked down furniture, it can become one of the solutions to the development of currently stagnant domestic furniture industry.
