Throughout its short history, the discourses of philosophy of technology has been centered around two issues, namely the recovery of human autonomy in technological society and the pursuit of sustainable development. Following the basic subject matters of the discipline, this article suggests to examine the possibility of the 'ethical engineering design,' meaning that ethical consideration should be included in engineering design. This proposal is based on the critique that philosophy of technology has so far focused on the external approach to the problem of technology, neglecting the active role of engineers. By paying attention to engineering design, however, philosophy of technology can offer a more realistic solution for the problems of the technological society. The first section shows the context of the current discussion by surveying the brief history of philosophy of technology. The thesis of engineering design in philosophy of technology will be presented in the second section, together with supporting reasons. The third section will examine theories and efforts that raised the issue of engineering design in the past. They have been suggested in different contexts, but when put together, they can be used for the justification of the current proposal. The fourth section will deal with the possible critiques of this proposal, which will be followed by suggestions for engineers themselves.

The objective of this article is to identify an alternative strategy for brand marketing through a case study of the Korean boy band BTS, which has recently seen a huge success in the global music scene. BTS has actively used transmedia storytelling as a tool to survive in the competitive music market. Transmedia storytelling refers to stories that are expanded across different media platforms, engaging audiences to explore from one medium to another to undergo multiple experiences. It gives audiences various ways of enjoying cultural content and participating in cultural content production through numerous media outlets. BTS has established and spread its fictional universe through albums, music videos, short films and webtoons, and has launched diverse projects where fans actively share, create, and play with their content. By inviting fans to actively participate in and interact with the BTS universe spreading through multiple media platforms, BTS can keep its fans engaged and energized. These activities have generated an emotional bond between BTS and their fans, which further leads to a worldwide fandom, based not on a producer-customer relationship but on mutual trust. The BTS case demonstrates the potential of transmedia storytelling as a useful benchmark to provide a positive brand experience for customers, which eventually enhances brand attachment and brand loyalty.

In this article, potential problems in the exchanges and collaboration of South and North Korean performance programs were reviewed focusing on the articles related to performances in the North Korean copyright law. In the North Korean copyright law, there were significant differences from the ordinary rules in the international society or lack of the rules. They are the problems on the bases and principles of North Korean copyright law, unacceptance of copyrightable works against their political system, equal and mutual benefit on the copyright of the South Korean copyrightable works, neighboring copyright and economic right, unlimited protection for moral right, unpreparedness of right protection for online copyrightable works, and so on. On the other hand, the available performance programs to exchange mutually between South and North in the short run include national operas, dramas, musicals, festival events, and so on. However, legal and systematic improvement plans are required on the different copyright rules between South and North to facilitate the exchanges and cooperation. Externally, collaborations are required in the international copyright stage such as collaborative agreements on various international copyright usages, and we should consider the global entrance of performance programs that contain national sentiment and develop mutual trusts through these.

This article examines how Brecht's Gestus is borrowed and transformed into the film. I examined the critical debates on the film's use of Brecht and the style of Brecht's acting adopted in radical experimental films and Hollywood films. In addition, through the case of Korean film actor/ress, I sought to apply the Brechtian theory. First, despite the criticism that the film's acceptance of Brecht is overly formal and mechanical, film theory and practice reflect Brecht's ideas. In particular, regardless of the socio-political situation of Brecht's day, his Gestus is suitable and useful for film acting. Brecht's thought was realized by technological innovations such as montage and computer special effects, and above all, the social attitude of the actor was popularized through the education of the audience. Second, his strategy on performance is no longer unfamiliar, and goes beyond the boundaries of contradictory daily life and art, and becomes the pleasure of popular film. Although the intentions of naturalism and anti-naturalism in acting arts are different, the process and effects look at the same point. Third, through the case of Korean film actor/ress as an attempt of popular understanding about Brecht strategy, I could confirm the possibility of searching identity of Korean film actor/ress.

This article aims to identify the characters and theme shown in dance costume and utilize them from an educational perspective by constructing digital museum archiving, which can be systematically collected, classified and stored from dance costume. It deals with definition of digital museum archiving as theoretical background and examples of how to create digital museum archiving as research content. The role that archiving plays in digital museum and effectiveness have been demonstrated. Archive is a term used to indicate extensive material and its storage and referred to as an integrative model of display in the computer-generated space. When it comes to producing dance costume as a form of digital museum, the museum is to be made in the computer-generated area of dance costume. The museum shows each division of major, medium and minor classification. The major classification divides genre of dance performance into Korean dance, modern dance and ballet. The middle involves choreographers, costume designers. The minor categorization includes newspaper, interviews, performance pictures, and programs. Digital museum has the value of space utilization, creation, culture, utilization of multiple educational programs, offering of digital museum content, two-way communication, and program development of the new display form.
In the post-industrial society, concerns about the body have devoted to extend the concept of body from its physical level to the spiritual and corporeal level. Now body is not only an instrument which expresses one's personal character, but also an abstract concept which shows one's identity. Through this tendency, body image as a representation becomes notable as much as physical body itself. This tendency has been exaggerated especially for women and the socio-cultural common notion is forcing them to internalize it by presenting several stereotypes of body image. The concept of body image, a rising academic subject becoming a socio-cultural matter of interest, bears an epistemological base about spirit, body, and individual/social character. As the discussion about body develops in the field of women's studies, deepened discussions about body image are in progress. In this article interaction between the making of stereotypes of the female body in the socio-cultural circumstance and the process of internalization of these stereotypes is analyzed. For the analysis, the hypothesis was established that this interaction constructs the making process of body image. The analyzed materials are images and texts for advertisements, and other materials for public relations which are posted on the homepage of body-line consulting company M. The results of this analysis are to summarize as follows; the stereotypes of the female body image in Korea are very similar to those of westerners, and male gaze plays a big role in the construction of female body image through the internationalization of the gaze by women. According to these results, it is necessary to consider the effort that women should strive to produce and to develop healthy female body images.
Through specific cases, this article examines the causes and measures to overcome cultural divergences most frequently encountered by Koreans living in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese in terms of mode of communication, mode of living and mode of doing business. Historical reality proves that Vietnam and Korea have a lot in common in history, culture and society, due to the influence from the Chinese culture on both countries. However, each country has its own acculturation, hence, there exist, apart from the normal dissimilarities, differences between the two countries especially in natural environment andpolitical systems. As a result, in Vietnam, Koreans and Vietnamese have met with quite a lot of divergences in communication, business and living activities. In order to overcome these cultural divergences, in addition to the ceaseless efforts made by Koreans in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese, there should be concern, assistance as well as cooperation between the people and the authorities of the two countries. We should draw lessons from the groundless or trivial affairs which, springing from the Chinese people's dislike for Koreans, have been blown up and disseminated on the internet; where by we are to reconsider the relationship between Koreans and Vietnamese. What is more, Korea still feels historically ashamed to have sent nearly 350,000 soldiers to the wa rin Vietnam for economic purposes in the past. As our predecessors brought about that historic shame to get bread for our fatherland in exchange, our generation today should approach Vietnam out of a sense of responsibility towards history. Having experienced a period of economic difficulties, Vietnam innovated and started its open-door policy in 1987. However, this event should not be regarded as the reason for us to approach Vietnam with only one rigid economic principle.

Xin-huo rules over the body. For expression of active Chi, it set the dual structure-'Junhuo-Xianghuo'. And it divided Junhuo from desire and sentiment. And Zhu zhen-heng attempted Taoism and medical science and Confucianism from the process under integrating. And analyzed Junhuo-Xianghuo Confucianism meaning. With Junhuo-Xianghuo and Confucianism described a relationship in the Zhu zhen-heng's theory. Finally view of Ruyi, medical science is the method of confucianism aims comes true.
This article introduces Abe Mituie's activities related to Korean and Japanese Buddhism and two newly discovered materials. He worked as a brain of Japanese cultural rule over Joseon Korea while holding various positions such as the president of KyeongSung Il Bo, the vice president of Kokmin Newspaper and the director of Central Joseon Association. Abe was responsible for Enkak Temple, the head temple of Japanese Rinzai section, and was one of the layman followers of Syak Soen who worked for the spread of modern Japanese Buddhism to Europe and America. He was a respectful Buddhist layman so as to teach Zen Buddhism for young Buddhist monks in Japan. After he started to assume charge in the Kyeong Sung Il Bo, he was also very active in movements in relation to Joseon Buddhism to the extent that he was found to be deeply involved in Joseon Buddhism sections. On the other hand, he concluded Joseon culture to be 'devastated.' He asserted that it was necessary to develop spiritual culture and revive Buddhism in order to resolve the devastation in the Joseon. In addition, he thought that Joseon Buddhism was ruined due to the misgovernment of the Joseon Dynasty, but had its own as great tradition as Japanese Buddhism. Therefore, in his opinion, there was a need to do research on Joseon Buddhism and find some way out of the contemporary difficulties. In order to save the situation, he made efforts to protect and revive Joseon Buddhism while paying continuous visits to Joseon Buddhist temples, supporting the publication of Buddhist canons and proposing to have a regular meeting of 'The Invitation of 30 Head Temples.' From his visit to Youngju Temple and his consistent relationship with Kang Daeryeon, it can be assumed that he was involved in reorganizing power structure in Joseon Buddhism and establishing various institutions. He emphasized the strict adherence of individuals and communities to rules in his lecture for students at Jung Ang Hak Rim. It was a way to revive Joseon Buddhism by creating a new social image of Joseon Buddhism. He continued to work for the restoration of Joseon Buddhism even after he retired from Kyeong Sung Il Bo and returned to Japan. He introduced the originality of Joseon Buddhism history to Japan and sent Japanese monks to Korea in order to do research and contribute to exchange between Korean and Japanese Buddhism. All things taken together, it is evident that Abe Mitzihe regarded Joseon as backward or stagnant from a perspective of evolutionist or orientalist, and was a Japanese elite to believe that it was just for Japan to control Korea. However, he was different from other Japanese elites in that he did not considered Joseon Buddhism merely as the object of propagation. He thought that Joseon Buddhism possessed its own great tradition and culture, but was ruined because of the misadministration of the Joseon Royal House. Therefore, in his opinion, Joseon Buddhism should be recovered by means of some supports, and its revival would lead to the restoration of Joseon culture as a whole, which would be realized by Japanese rule over Korea and Japanese elites' generous assistance.
In Post-soviet Space, particularly the Central Asian is a great turbulence region called the 'Eurasian Balkan', where diverse factors of conflict and dispute are existed. In Central Asia, a current regional security system is characterized by various multilateral cooperation relations among Central Asian nations and the world powers, such as NATO(PfP), OSCE, CIS, CSTO, CACO, SCO, CICA and so on. But nothing could obtain superiority as pan-regional security system. Unless internal problems and conflicts of the Central Asian nations be solved, security won't be assured in this region. Narrow-minded and blind realism will spread insecure region, make a lasting trouble spot in Eurasian continent. The purpose of this article is to explore significance for international relations of security system in the Central Asia. I examine general features of regional security environment formed after the Soviet Union's collapse, characteristics of multilateral cooperation related with Central Asian nations. Through consideration current situations I suggest prospects of security system in Central Asia.
