대단위(大單位) 재건축사업(再建築事業) 지역내(地域內) 초등학교시설(初等學校施設) 확보방안(確保方案)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Establishing Alternatives for Elementary School Facilities in the Reconstruction Area)

  • This study is to solve a problem of elementary school facilities' insufficiency in the reconstruction area of Ichon 1-Dong in Seoul. Results of this study are as follows; 529 students will be increased to Shinyongsan elementery school in 2004; 1,206 students will be increased after the reconstruction projects is completed in Ichon 1-Dong. By accepting these students I suggest alternatives in three aspects; the application of the existing facility, the establishment of new school facilities and the constraint of student demand by reconstruction development. There are some limitations and more themes must be solved. First of all, the flexible standards corresponding to various community's characteristics such as a builtup area or a new development area are needed. Secondly, the community plan must be prepared for many urban developments in a community area. Thirdly, reconstruction development must have an alternative for establishing public facilities. Lastly, the decision making system reflecting the communities' goals must be required to choose the best alternative for the community's public facilities.

중학생이 지각한 아버지의 애정-합리적 설명형 양육태도가 여가만족 및 여가제약에 미치는 영향 : 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effects of perceived father's rearing attitude on leisure satisfaction and leisure constraint in middle school students: the mediating effects of self-efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 자기효능감과 자녀가 지각하는 아버지의 양육태도, 여가만족 및 여가제약과의 관계를 살펴보고, 지각된 아버지의 애정-합리적 설명형 양육태도와 여가만족 및 여가제약과의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 실시되었다. 연구대상은 서울에 소재한 11개 중학교에 재학 중인 2학년, 448명의 남녀학생이며, 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집한 후, SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 조사결과, 청소년들이 아버지의 양육태도를 애정-합리적 설명형으로 지각할수록 가족과 여가활동을 하고 있거나 하고 싶어 하는 것으로 나타났으며 여가활동으로는 야외활동을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여가만족과 자기효능감은 지각된 아버지의 애정-합리적 설명형 양육태도와 정적 상관을 보였으며, 여가제약은 아버지의 양육태도와 부적 상관을 보였다. 지각된 아버지의 애정-합리적 설명형 양육태도와 여가만족과의 관계에서 자기효능감 중 자신감과 자기조절의 매개효과가 확인되었으며, 아버지의 양육태도와 여가제약과의 관계에서는 자기효능감 중 자신감이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청소년들의 여가만족을 높이고, 여가제약을 낮춤으로써 여가활동을 늘리기 위해서는 아버지의 애정을 바탕으로 한 합리적인 양육방식과 함께 청소년들의 자기효능감을 높이기 위한 다각적인 노력이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

Tree Structure Modeling and Genetic Algorithm-based Approach to Unequal-area Facility Layout Problem

  • A tree structure model has been proposed for representing the unequal-area facility layout. Each facility has a different rectangular shape specified by its area and aspect ratio. In this layout problem, based on the assumption that the shop floor has enough space for laying out the facilities, no constraint is considered for a shop floor. Objectives are minimizing total part movement between facilities and total rectangular layout area where all facilities and dead spaces are enclosed. Using the genetic code corresponding to two kinds of information, facility sequence and branching positions in the tree structure model, a genetic algorithm has been applied for finding non-dominated solutions in the two-objective layout problem. We use three kinds of crossover (PMX, OX, CX) for the former part of the chromosome and one-point crossover for the latter part. Two kinds of layout problems have been tested by the proposed method. The results demonstrate that the presented algorithm is able to find good solutions in enough short time.

  • This Paper presents an efficient algorithm that minimizes the area of the combinational system through cell replacement. During the minimization, it maintains the circuit speed same. For the minimization, the proposed algorithm defines the criticality of each cell, based on the critical delay and the number of paths passing through the cell. Then, it visits the cells of the system, one by one, from the one with the lowest criticality, and replaces it with the minimum area cell that satisfies the delay constraint. Experimental results, using the LGsynth91 benchmark circuits synthesized by misII, show that the proposed algorithm reduces the circuit area further by 17.54% on the average without sacrificing the circuit speed.

  • Safety of residents could be considered and then increased when we plan, design, and operate a city. In Korea, CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) is currently being applied to new towns. However, it is not systemized and neither efficient, for there are no constraint provisions, and the foreign cases are not specifically customized to the current situation of the country. This means, the introduction of CPTED is an indispensable fact, but there are limits to the budget aids and actual application, for there is no legal base to support it. This study, therefore, aims to find the limits from analyzing related laws and regimes, administrative regulations, and applied cases, and to deduct improvement plans based on examined foreign cases. In this Study, the supporting system of foreign CPTED related laws and regulations was analyzed around the cases of England and U.S.A, and based on that information, the present condition and limits of CPTED related laws and regulations of Korea were deducted. As a result of this study, there were no constraint provisions to apply the design guidelines to actual planning, and there were limits on backup aid and actual application due to the lacking of analyzing the relevant area. Also, an acceptable framework must be arranged by the revision of laws and ordinances to compel the system, and link it with the CPTED certification system which will revitalize the whole system.

라이시안 로그노말 페이딩 채널 모델에서 채널 부호를 사용한 이동 성층권 통신 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of a Mobile Stratospheric Communication System with Channel Codings over Rician Log-Normal Fading Channel Models)

  • 최근 들어 개인 이동 통신 또는 대용량 고속 통신의 서비스 향상을 위하여 성층권 통신에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 실제로 ITU에서는 성층권 통신 시스템을 IMT-2000의 지상 기지국 또는 중계국으로 사용하는 것에 대한 가능성을 지속적으로 연구하고 있는 상황이다(1). 그러나, 이러한 성층권 통신은 실제로 채널을 측정한 데이터가 없어 정확한 성능 예측이 어렵고, 성층권에 시험용 비행선을 위치시키는 것도 막대한 예산이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 성층권의 채널 모델로서 Corazza(2)가 제안하고, 유문희(3)등에 의하여 개선된 채널 데이터를 사용하여 라이시안 로그 노말 페이딩 채널을 모델링하고, 이러한 채널에서의 이동 성층권 통신 시스템의 성능을 평가하고자 한다. 사용한 통신 방식은 BPSK 변조 방식이며, 개방 지역(open area), 시골 지역(rural area),도심 지역(urban area)의 경우에 대하여 각각 세가지 앙각, 즉 이동체에서 비행선을 바라본 각도 20$^\cire$, 45$^\cire$, 80$^\cire$ 에 대하여 성능을 구하였다. 또한, 각 경우에 대하여 해밍 부호(7,4), BCH 부호(15,7)와 제한길이(constraint length)가 3이고 부호화율이 R=1/2인 콘볼루션 부호 등을 적용하여 성능의 향상 효과를 분석하였다.

FEED AND FODDER AVAILABILITY IN THE PABNA MILK SHED AREA, BANGLADESH

  • The study was conducted at village level in Pabna milkshed areas of Bangladesh to asses the existing feed and fodder sources of cattle. The results showed that the overall number of cattle per farm family was 7.17 and chicken represents highest number (15.57) per farm family in this area. The results also indicated that during monsoon season the bathan is planted with Vigna mungo and Lathyrus sativus and average grazing hours per day varied from 1.1 in October to 5.6 in February. In Summer, they were offered naturally grown Cynodon dactylon with supplementary feeding of rice straw. The study further showed that the highest (65.7%) feed scarcity was found during mid April to mid May followed by mid June. The cultivation of Vigna mungo was highest (76.71%) compared to Lathyrus sativus by the farmers in the bathan areas. The major constraint to cattle production is the scarcity of quality feed during mid October to mid November.

  • In this paper, the design problem of local area networks is defined as finding the network topology minimizing cost subject to reliability constraint. The design problem includes issues such as multiple choices of link type for each possible link, multiple choices of hub type for each hub, and allocation of the users to the hubs. To efficiently solve the problem, a genetic approach is suggested. According to the experiments, the proposed approach improves search performance.

  • In a 2-dimensional (2D) Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) hardware, a significant fraction of the total hardware area is contributed by the combinational logic used to perform 1-dimensional (2D) transform. The size of the non-combinational logic i.e. the transpose memory is dictated by the size of the largest transform supported. Hence, the optimization of hardware area is performed mainly for 1D-transform combinational logic. This paper demonstrates the use of Multiple Constant Multiplication (MCM) algorithm to reduce the combinational logic area. Partial optimizations are also described for the cases where the direct use of MCM algorithm doesn't meet the timing constraint. Experimental results show that 46% improvement in gate count is achieved for 32 point 1D DCT transform logic after using MCM optimization.

  • This paper aims to derive a mathematical model of the dynamics of handling tasks in robot fingers which stably grasps and manipulates a rigid object with some dexterity. Firstly, a set of differential equation describing dynamics of the manipulators and object together with geometric constraint of tight area-contacts is formulated by Lagrange's equation.
