프라이머 가공 방법이 열융착 필름 라미네이팅으로 제조한 고충격 대응 에어쿠션 소재의 물성에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Primer Processing Method on the Mechanical Properties of Impact Relief Air Cushion Materials Prepared through Thermal Film Laminating)

  • In this study, the TPU film was laminated on an aramid fabric or circular knits in order to implement an air cushion material that can respond to high impact forces in case of a fall and is easy to expand. To increase the bonding strength between the fabric layer and the film layer, a primer layer was formed in two ways: one for thermally bonding and laminating PET film and two for coating and aging hot melt type PUR adhesive. The tensile strength of the aramid air cushion was 2.5 times higher than that of the circular knits, but the tensile elongation of the aramid air cushion was very low compared to that of the circular knits. The tear strength of the aramid air cushion was about twice or more superior to that of the circular knits, the primer treatment method was good at A, and the peel strength was excellent at method A. The aramid air cushion was the lightest in weight. Summarizing the above results, it was best to combine the air cushion material with aramid woven fabric and primer treatment method A to cope with the high impact force applied when falling.

온도 및 수분이 탄소/아라미드 섬유 복합재의 파손거동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Temperature and Water Absorption on Failure Behaviors of Carbon / Aramid Fiber Composites)

  • This paper presents the effects of high temperature and water absorption on the mechanical behaviors of carbon-aramid fiber composites, specifically their strength, elastic modulus, and fracture. These composites are used in industrial structures because of their high specific strength and toughness. Carbon fiber composites are vulnerable to the impact force of external objects despite their excellent properties. Aramid fibers have high elongation and impact absorption capabilities. Accordingly, a hybrid composite with the complementary properties and capabilities of carbon and aramid fibers is fabricated. However, the exposure of aramid fiber to water or heat typically deteriorates its mechanical properties. In view of this, tensile and flexural tests were conducted on a twill woven carbon-aramid fiber hybrid composite to investigate the effects of high temperature and water absorption. Moreover, a multiscale analysis of the stress behavior of the composite's microstructure was implemented. The results show that the elastic modulus of composites subjected to high temperature and water absorption treatments decreased by approximately 22% and 34%, respectively, compared with that of the composite under normal conditions. The crack behavior of the composites was well identified under the specimen conditions.

  • M-aramid(in DMAc)를 전기 방사하여, chlorine을 부착시켜 항균성을 가지게 하였고, 부착된 chlorine의 농도는 titration을 통해 확인하였다. 15cm를 유지하여 방사했을 경우 10cm일 때에 비해 비드의 양이 적고, 비교적 균일한 형태로 방사되었다. 방사거리를 15cm로 유지시켜 방사한 m-aramid의 oxidized chlorine의 농도를 측정한 결과, 매우 우수한 수치를 보였고, 전압이 증가할수록 조금씩 감소하였다.

$PEO_{45}$-MeDMA를 이용한 m-aramid 섬유의 염색특성 (Dyeing Properties of m-Aramid Fibers Using $PEO_{45}$-MeDMA)

  • A diblock copolymer($PEO_{45}$-MeDMA) derived from [2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl] trimethylammonium chloride(MeDMA) was synthesized and applied to the meta-aramid fibers. Meta-aramid fabric was pretreated with $PEO_{45}$-MeDMA and successfully dyed with acid dyes. The dyeability of this fabric was investigated and found to depend on the $PEO_{45}$-MeDMA concentration, pH, and dye concentration. The color fastness properties of the copolymer pretreated dyed fabric was evaluated.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 염색성 향상에 관해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있는 m-aramid를 사용하여 film으로 제조한 뒤, 표면적 증가에 따른 염색성 및 기타 다른 특성의 차이를 측정하여 비교하였다. DMAc를 용매로 하여 제조한 m-aramid 용액을 film으로 제조한 결과, 응고욕의 종류별로 염색성 및 기타 특성에 대해 상이한 결과를 보였다.

  • In this study, it was experimentally investigated the effectiveness of repair and strengthening methods for RC beams deteriorated under severs enviromental conditions. Polymer cement were employed to restore the sectional loss and aramid fiber-reinforced sheet was used to reinforce the surface subject to tension. Repaired and strengthened reinforced-concrete samples were subjected to loading tests. The tests revealed that the sectional restoration enhanced the loading capability of the sample structures. Additional strengthening with one aramid fiber-reinforced sheet improved 18% of yielding load and 30% of ultimate load of the structure. Reinforcing with two aramid fiber-reinforced sheets brought about an enhancement of 22% of yielding loading and 49% of ultimate load.

  • In this paper, we investigated the electric field distribution according to the roughness in aramid insulating paper for electric machine. Aramid insulating paper has been used to electric insulating of the traction motor and generators for large capacity. We studied the electric field distribution using boundary element method for Aramid insulating paper. As a result of simulation, the electric field increased according to the surface roughness existence. Electric field decreased due to radius of surface roughness reduction, and Electric field concentration appeared at electrode boundary and rough surface.

  • This paper has proposed a reinforcing method for damaged RC columns with SRF sheets and Aramid rods. In order to verify the effectiveness and performance, two original columns and two reinforced columns with SRF sheets and Aramid rods were developed and tested under lateral cyclic displacement and a constant axial load. The test showed that the improvement of energy dissipation capacity was increased in terms of strength and ductility. In addition, an analytical modeling of the standard specimens was proposed using Response-2000 and ZeusNL program. The results of analytical and experimental studies for two standard columns were compared in terms of loading-displacement curve and energy dissipation capacity based on the nonlinear static analysis.

  • Friction and wear characteristics of novolac resin-based friction materials reinforced with aramid pulp and potassium titanate were investigated by using a pad-on-disk type friction tester. Friction properties such as friction stability, surface morphology, and wear rate varied according to the relative amount of aramid pulp and potassium titanate. The friction materials reinforced with both aramid pulp and potassium titanate showed superior friction stability and wear resistance due to the formation of durable transfer layer.

  • In this paper, the properties of temperature dependence and voltage dependence of Aramid paper were studied to understand electrical characteristics, to be regarded as the excellent insulation. Aramid paper and pressboard had being applied various motor, generator. We used to Finite Elemental Method of simulation tool, and improved optimal insulating design of insulating Aramid according to calculated those.
