Application of Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization to Bi-level Job-Shop Scheduling Problem

  • This study presents an application of adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) to solving the bi-level job-shop scheduling problem (JSP). The test problem presented here is $10{\times}10$ JSP (ten jobs and ten machines) with tribottleneck machines formulated as a bi-level formulation. APSO is used to solve the test problem and the result is compared with the result solved by basic PSO. The results of the test problem show that the results from APSO are significantly different when compared with the result from basic PSO in terms of the upper level objective value and the iteration number in which the best solution is first identified, but there is no significant difference in the lower objective value. These results confirmed that the quality of solutions from APSO is better than the basic PSO. Moreover, APSO can be used directly on a new problem instance without the exercise to select parameters.

  • 본 논문은 안드로이드 기반 상황 인지 스마트폰 애플리케이션들의 유기적인 결합을 위한 프레임워크에 관한 것이다. 스마트폰을 이용한 상황인지 시스템에는 콘텍스트 수집, 수집된 콘텍스트를 해석 및 추론한 하이레벨 콘텍스트, 그리고 사용자에게 직접적으로 서비스를 제공해주는 시스템 등이 있다. 기존의 안드로이드는 이러한 여러 독립된 모듈들을 통합하여 유기적으로 결합시킬 적절한 방법을 제시하지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 각 시스템을 컴포넌트화 하고, 각 컴포넌트가 필요한 서비스를 제공하며, 안드로이드 플랫폼을 감추는 방식으로 유기적인 결합을 위한 복잡도를 최소화시켜 개발자에게 편의를 제공하는 프레임워크를 제안한다.

토양 개량제 시용이 연초의 생육, 수량 및 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Soil Conditioners on the Growth, Yield and Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the affect of soil conditioners and their application rates on the growth, Yield and quality of Flue-cured tobacco. Soil conditioners for this study were Montmorillonite arid Zeolite as clay mineral source and Rice hull and Sawdust as organic source. Their application rates were 500, 1000, 2000kg/10a. The growth of tobacco plants was promoted, compared with that of Non- treated plot (control) by Zeolite, Montmorillonite and Rice hull application but decreased by Sawdust application. During tobacco growing season soil moisture content, compared with control, was increased by Zeolite and Montmorillonite application but decreased by Rice hull and Sawdust application. In contrast to soil moisture content, soil temperature was higher in the Rice hull and Sawdust plot than in the plot of Zeolite and Montmorillonite. The treatment of Sawdust, compared with control, obviously accelerated the maturity of tobacco, increased reducing Sugar but decreased total alkaloids, nicotine and nitrogen content of cured leaves. The Sawdust Plot decreased the Yield (kg/10a) with significant difference by 1 %level but significantly increased leaf quality (Won/kg) and value (Won/10a) by 1%and 5 %level, respectively. The present application , ate of Nitrogen in Korea (12.5kg/10a) seems to be excessive for Flue-cured tobacco production.

Effect of Soil Salinity Levels on Silage Barley Growth at Saemangeum Reclaimed Tidal Land

  • Crop development and nutrient availability are strongly influenced by soil salinity levels. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of rice straw and nitrogen (N) fertilizer for silage barley under various soil salinity levels at Saemangeum reclaimed tidal land. Three levels of rice straw (0, 2.5, 5.0 ton rice straw $ha^{-1}$) and N (0, 150, 225 kg N $ha^{-1}$) were applied at 0.04, 0.23, 0.35% soil salinity levels. Biomass yield of silage barley was influenced by the interactions between rice straw application and N fertilization. Although there was no single effect of rice straw application on biomass yield, it was significantly increased with N application and a rice straw application of 5.0 ton $ha^{-1}$. Sodium content in silage barley was significantly lower at 0.04% salinity level, and but it was statistically increased with increasing soil salinity levels. Forage qualities such as total digestible nutrients and relative feed value of silage barley were significantly higher with N application at 0.04% salinity level, but there was no effect of rice straw application. Soil organic matter content was increased with N and rice straw application regardless of soil salinity level. The results of this study showed that the effect of rice straw and N fertilization on silage barley was influenced by soil salinity levels, which indicates that the management practice of silage barley at Saemangeum reclaimed tidal land should consider soil salinity levels.

분뇨 슬러지 퇴비 시용이 Orchardgrass의 건물 수량과 영양가에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Application of Nightsoil Sludge Compost on Dry Matter Yields and Nutritive Value of Orchardgrass(Dactylis glomerata L.))

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of application levels of nightsoil sludge compost(NSC) in 3 and 4 cuttings per annum on the dry matter yields and nutritive value of orchardgrass(Dactylis glomerata L.). Annual nightsoil sludge compost(NSC) were applied at levels of 0, 10, 20, 40 and 80 ton $㏊^{respectively}$ . Relative yields of each cut to annual dry matter yield were 29.9%, 46.% and 23.2% for 1st cut, 2nd cut and 3rd cut in 3 cutting system, 23.7%, 29.3%, 34.0% and 13.0% for 1st cut, 2nd cut, 3rd cut and 4th cut in 4 cutting system, respectively. Significantly higher dry matter yield of orchardgrass obtained were 8.11 ton $㏊^{-1}$ at level of 40 ton ㏊$^{-1}$ $yr^{-1}$ in 3 cutting systems, ranges of 7.50~10.71 ton $㏊^{-1}$ at level of 10~80 ton ㏊$^{-1}$ $yr^{-1}$ in 4 cutting systems than those of non application level of NSC, respectively(p〈0.05). The mean efficiency of dry matter production to application of NSC(kg DM/ton NSC) were 46 and 102 kg in 3 and 4 cutting systems, respectively. Although th contents of crude protein(CP, %) of orchardgrass were significantly higher at the application levels of 10~80 ton $㏊^{-1}$ $yr^{-1}$ -1/ by NSC than those of the application levels at the 0 ton $㏊^{-1}$ $yr^{-1}$ in 3 and 4 cutting systems(p〈0.05), the contents of neutral detergent fiber(NDF, %) and acid detergent fiber(ADF, %) were lower in NSC plots than those at the non-application plots of NSC. The contents of total digestible nutrient(TDN, %) and relative feed value(RFV) of orchardgrass were significantly increased with increase the applicaton levels of NSC(p〈0.05).

  • 최근 인터넷 사용자의 증가와 다양한 인터넷 기반 응용프로그램의 증가로 네트워크 트래픽이 급증하고 있다. 효율적인 네트워크 트래픽 관리를 위해 기존의 많은 연구들 에서 다양한 분류 알고리즘을 제시하였고, 대부분의 제안된 방법들은 응용 단위로 트래픽을 분류하며 분류의 정확성을 높이는데 초점을 두고 있다. 하지만 트래픽 제어의 관점에서 보았을 때 응용단위의 트래픽 분류는 응용의 기능별 제어의 기회를 제공하지 못하고 네트워크 사용자가 각 응용의 어떤 기능을 사용하는지를 파악하지 못하게 되는 문제점을 가지고 있다 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결 하기 위해 NateOn, MSN, GoogleTalk의 인터넷 메신저 응용에 대하여 기능 오토마타를 설계하고 이를 통해 메신저 응용의 기능별 트래픽 분류를 위한 방법론을 제시한다.

  • NCS is the nation-wide standard designed to standardize and systematize the capability(knowledge, technology and attitude) required for personnel to undertake their task in industrial site according to industry field and level of the task. In order to cope with rapidly changing labor market, individual has to be equipped with ability required for each relevant duty field. And company also requires worker to have basic working ability, professional knowledge or technical capability for relevant duty. Especially, the core competency, a fundamental element for all tasks, has been recognized as critical part not just in social level but also in company level. In that sense, the necessity of adding the core competence into regular education program has been vastly demanded. This study mainly deals with development of NCS-based learning module for information capability that most of industrial field want their employee to be equipped as basic skill. And, in particular, education achievement analysis for computer application capability, a subordinate capabilities of information capability, and its application method are mainly described.

  • It is inevitable to control the systematic failure to obtain the software safety integrity of embedded software installed in rolling stock. Because it is not possible to assess systematic failure integrity by quantitative methods, SILs are used to group documentation, methods, tools and techniques throughout software development lifecycle which, when used effectively, are considered to provide an appropriate level of confidence in the realization of a system to a stated integrity level. Normally, safety approval process is through generic product, generic application and specification application for. For safety approval on generic application of software based system, it is required to apply the certified software processes from the planning stage for the assigned SIL. As such, we will develop project specific application with high safety integrity within time limit of contractual delivery schedule through software assessment to the modified area with the re-use of certified software module and documentation. At this point, Hyundai Rotem has developed software processes applicable to support SIL 4 based on EN50128 which was assessed and certified by TUV SUD. This paper introduces the Hyundai Rotem's detailed approach and prospective action to achieve software safety integrity level.

Effect of Amygdalin from Armeniacae Semen on Ion Currents Changed by Lipopolysaccharide in Rat Periaqueductal Gray Neurons

  • Background : Amygdalin is abundant in Armeniacae semen, and it is recently reported to treat cancers and relieve pain. But modus operandi of amygdalin at the level of neuron has not been reported, yet. Objective : This study aimed to find out the effect of amygdalin on glycine- and glutamate-induced ion currents in periaqueductal gray (PAG) neurons. And it was investigated that amygdalin participates in the regulation of the descending pain control system in the level of PAG neurons. Method : We investigated that the changes of glycine- and glutamate-induced ion currents in PAG neurons through application of lipopolysaccharides (LPS) and application of amygdalin with LPS by using the nystatin-perforated patch clamp method. Result : Application of LPS on PAG neurons resulted in increased glycine-induced ion current, and in decreased glutamate-induced ion current. In contrast, application of amygdalin with LPS resulted in decreased glycine-induced ion current increased by LPS, and increased glutamate-induced ion current decreased by LPS. Conclusion : Amygdalin from Armeniacae semen controls glycine- and glutamate-induced ion current by LPS in PAG neurons, and it is suggested that amygdalin participates in the regulation of the descending pain control system in the level of PAG neurons.

방화벽 NAT를 지원하는 새로운 다자간 화상회의 시스템의 설계 및 분석 (Design and Analysis of a New Video Conference System Supporting the NAT of Firewall)

  • 인터넷의 확산과 컴퓨터 기술의 발달로 웹을 기반으로 한 화상회의 시스템이 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 이러한 화상회의 시스템은 화이트보드의 공유와 파일의 공유를 위해서 공인 IP주소를 사용해야하고 방화벽 내부사용자와 비공인 IP주소 사용자를 위한 처리가 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 방화벽내부 사용자나 비공인 IP주소 사용자를 위해 비공인 IP주소를 공인 IP주소로 변환시켜 주는 Application Level Gateway를 구현한다. 또한 네트워크 대역폭에 따라 화상과 음성 미디어를 동적으로 조절하는 Control Daemon을 제안한다. Control Daemon은 다자간 회의진행을 위한 회의실 개설과 종료, 회의참여 수락, 진행관리를 담당한다.
