In the suburbs near the capital area in Korea, many apartment house complexes are dotted that encircled by field. These apartment house complexes encircled by field, have not park and are abutting on the field, unlike large scale new town. This study is aimed to clear the characteristic of field around these apartment house complexes, consists in development the suburbs near the capital area. As a method of study we conducted greenery evaluation from view of Inhabitant by questionnaire survey. We concluded as follows: inhabitants attach importance to the nature around apartment house complex when move into that; inhabitants are satisfied and feel nature about the field; inhabitants tend to take field as a sight; inhabitants need low-rise development for harmony with field.

One of the most important factors in determining the quality of living environment is daylighting. Especially its influence in the psychological and biological life of human beings cannot be underestimated. Therefore, lots of researches have been given to develop a more efficient daylighting system. The sunlighting system, one of many developed systems, has been developed and applied in various ways. However, the high cost of sunlighting system has been the most difficult stumbling-block in making it commercial. However, as domestic apartment houses tend to be more luxury, life environment becomes a very important factor more than cost in building apartment house. Therefore, it would be possible to adopt sunlighting system in the non-window areas such as a restroom in an apartment house. This research is a preliminary work in order to measure a possibility of applying sunlighting system in an apartment house. In order to do so, I measure Sunlight Illuminance Ratio in various areas of apartment house. As a result, in case of a residential-commercial building, areas such as kitchen, restroom, and entrance are relatively weak-lighting areas. In case of a traditional apartment house, restroom and entrance are relatively weak-lighting areas. For that reason, a special lighting support is needed in these areas.

With the recent rise of apartment houses, the Korean government set up the Apartment House Manager System in 1989. In fact. a similar was originally introduced and fully settled down in England where the apartment house have been developed for a while. This study is primarily concerned with the comparison of apartment house manager system between Korea and England, with special respect to the background, the department in charge, the qualification of examinees, and the subjects for examination. The first part of this study deals with the difference of system between Korea and England. Among the most salient difference is that the system of Korea was established by the gorvernment itself in order to solve some problems derived from management, whereas that in England came into being for citizens to help the poor with housing problems as a Chrisitian social movement. The second part of this study suggests that it is necessary to open a department of apartment house at the two-year colleges. In addition, it would be advisable to give some advantages such as full a partial exception from examination to those who graduate from four-year universities or colleges.

The aim of apartment house remodeling should be accomplished by three courses; first, to reduce resources and environmental pollution, and second, to overcome social issue such as sick house syndrome on the point of residents' safety, and last, to secure life quality of apartment house healthy and nature friendly through satisfying residents' desire comfortable and safety course. Thus, this study aims to suggest the basic data to improve remodeling of apartment house considering residents' safety on the point of greenness, because of preventing social issue such as sick house syndrome, creating comfortable interior space, deducing indiscreet remodeling, and developing sustainable construction, through grasping customers' demand, and analyzing the correlation between remodeling status and residents' attitude survey of sick house syndrome.

Recently, indoor air pollution has been seriously apprehended, and became a striking issue, due to the airtightness of buildings or the misuse of building materials. Especially, SHS(Sick House Syndrome) and MCS(Multi Chemical Sensitivity) which can have bad influences on the resident in an existing apartment house as well as newly constructed apartment house start to attract public attention. The emission rates of VOCs is sensitively affected by the indoor/outdoor condition, construction materials, construction method, and character of ventilation facilities. Therefore, in this study, by measuring the indoor air pollution substance of the existing apartment house, the problem over this tends to be grasped and it is going to secure an improvement methods.

This study examined and analyzed locational conditions of apartment houses in regional small cities to provide basic materials to set direction and index of view management of apartment house and thus the results of the study are as follows. 1. The number of story of apartment houses 'below five story' was 48% and area of apartment house was 'over 500m$^2$ and below 1000m$^2$' in 31% of the whole regions. 2. As a result of analyzing correlations with changes of floor of apartment house by construction year, apartment houses below 10 story were mainly built between 1991 and 1995 and high-storied apartment houses over 11 story were mainly built since 1995 and apartment houses over 21 story were built since 2000 and these high-storied apartment houses were main cause of hindering view of small cities. Accordingly, establishment of guideline of building high-storied apartment house which can be a primary obstacle of urban view and regulations of height are needed.

Recently, much attention has been paid to the problem such as sick building syndrome, which caused by the indoor air pollutant. Volatile Organic Compounds $(VOC_s)$ and formaldehyde have been considered as one of the main reason that causes indoor air pollutant. This study is for introducing and designing thermal performance of super energy saving building by conducting $VOC_s$ and formaldehyde concentration in the 3Liter house. The results of the measurement for 10 months showed that $VOC_s$ and formaldehyde decreased until the guideline concentration. It took about 7 months, and it appeared right after new construction. However, their levels were showed higher concentration in comparison with the ordinary residential houses (apartment house). The main difference of between newly built 3Liter house and ordinary apartment is their air changes, which are 0.67/h for 3Liter house and 4.0/h for the apartment.

This is a study on the Changes of the Apartment House Managerial Problems to grope for the way of more pratical management about increasing the apartment house in Korea. The documentary research method was used for this study and the Han-Kook newspaper(1954-1991) was used as an ananlysis data. On the basis of it, I examined the changes, such as the number of whole articles by time series and the column of head title. I also classified it into several subjects and analyzed it. Finally, I attemped to divide an chronological section on the Changes of the Apartment House Managerial Problems. On the basis of this study, I expect that various documents, related laws and regulations will be analyzed in no distant future. These is going to make the Apartment House Managerial Problems gave more systemic and efficiency.
