  • Many applications, such as the lenses of mobile phones, involve complex 3D shapes. Delivering effective AR/AG surfaces in 3D is becoming an important challenge to the display industry. This paper shows how the combination of motheye structured AR hardcoats and In-Mold Decoration techniques can deliver this desirable functionality.

First, the origin of decoration culture was concerned with the belief in the life after death of the Buddhism culture to represent the noble society of the Heian(평안) period and the religion of paradise after the Middle Ages. Second. this decoration culture based on two aesthetic ideologies, beautiful(염) aesthetics and lofty(숭고) aesthetics. The beautiful aesthetics implies words, such as bewitchment, elegance, dignity and brilliance which stand for the sensual pleasure and the eroticism. Issey Miyake and Takeda Kenzo introduced the decorative play, such as transformation and a distortion, which considered refinement, bluff, and oddity of the Japanese decoration art.

And its war made the hippie-culture come out. And, it was economically bountiful. The epoch-making development of the scientific technology made the result of space development, conquering the moon in the first of the mankind. Made the appearance of the Anti-design against the modern design which was the also, it traditional values and the mainstream. The plastic has merits, low-priced, light, being perfectly able to do mass production of the all kind of shapes' furniture with all-desired colors. It was the wonderful material for the expression of the short-life character, the irony, the kitsch, and an intentional decoration to being chased by anti-design. And the result, the plastic furniture in the people's daily-life has well represented with reflecting the mind of the people in that age.

  • The electron beam (EB) induced curing of a typical resin designed for the hard coating layer of in-mold decoration foils was investigated. The samples were irradiated with different doses of EB and the curing reaction was monitored by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The change in coating properties such as surface hardness and anti-abrasion property was studied as a function of increasing dose. The effect of the addition of nano-particles on the improvement of coating properties was also examined. It was expected that the experimental results could be used for the commercial exploitation of the EB curing system comparable to the ultraviolet (UV) curing system.

  • The silane coupling agent, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate (${\gamma}$-MPTS), was grafted on the surface of alumina nanoparticles. We used the surface modified nanoparticles in the hard coating layer for in-mold decoration (IMD) foils and evaluated the coating properties such as hardness and anti-abrasion property. The effects of electron beam (EB) irradiation on color layer and anchor layer of IMD foils were observed through the difference in color and the cross-cut tape test, respectively. Also, cure kinetics as studied quantitatively under various reaction temperatures by analysis of surface properties and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. From these results, we constructed database for the commercial exploitation of EB curing system.

  • Maximalism in modern fashion has emerged as an anti-conception against Minimaslism which dominated the trend of 21st century. Contrary to the traits of Minimalism which are oriented to constraint and editing, Maximalism expresses human sensitivity, concern to tradition and other culture, and instinctive desire for decoration. The trend of Maximalism is reflected in various areas of fashion and shoes design, and its influence is still enlarging. This idea for designing shoes come from analyzing the related documentaries, fashion magazines and internet sites since 2005, when the maximalism was main concepts in worldwide fashion trends. The traits of Maxmalistic trend expressed in shoes are decentralizing, pluralisml, sensitivity, etc. The molding constituents, such as form, material, color, accessary decoration, have been expressed as diversified and differentiated traits of shoes design through molding modes such as exaggeration and concentration, distortion and modification, removal and mixing-up. This study takes advantage of this opportunity to grasp the diversified and colorful trend and molding traits of Maximalim expressed in shoes design, close up the molding value of shoes design, and finally enlarge the realm of aesthetic expression of shoes design.

  • In this study, I tried to analyze the characteristics of modem punk fashion by applying characteristics of modem cultural phenomena. The method of this study is the qualitative study: I analyzed collections from 1996 to 2003 by suggesting an analysis frame based on bibliological studies and applying internet photo materials to the analysis frame. As a result, modem punk fashion has the following characteristics. First, it tends to promote things that are entirely different from the previous expression methods by using the overlapping of texts combined with things that are heterogeneous. Second, the scope of its decoration has been expanded with the aid of the expression method, in which the objects that had not been used as decoration previously have been transformed into media. Third, the appearance of non-mainstream group who has suggested the anti-mainstream thought that violates the uniformed beauty of punk group has expanded the scope of classes that accept the punk fashion. Lastly, clothes, wigs and accessories have been commercialized through the permanent modification that used to signify resistance and disgust such as the expression methods of image replicas using tattoo, piercing, and transformation of hair. In doing so, punk fashion has been generalized and popularized. Such modem punk fashion reflects the change of society such as social transformation that is occupied by images thanks to its complexity and pluralism and the development of public media.
