Neural Network을 이용한 무선 통신시스템에서의 VAD (VAD By Neural Network Under Wireless Communication Systems)

  • EBF(Elliptical basis function) 신경망은 비선형 처리를 가능하게 하며, 잡음에 강하고 빠른 수렴을 하는 장점이 있다. 또한 EBF는 설계가 간단하여 실시간 음성 구간 검출기(Voice Activity Detection, VAD)에 적용하기 용이하다. 따라서 전송 효율을 높이기 위해 사용되는 음성구간 검출기를 제안함에 있어 EBF 신경망을 이용하였다. EBF의 학습 알고리즘은 평균 클러스터링(K-means Clustering) 알고리즘과 선형 최소 제곱 방범(Least Mean Square error, LMS)을 사용하였다. G.729 Annex B 와 RBF(Radial Basis Function) 신경망을 이용한 음성구간 검출기와 성능 비교에 있에서, G.729 Annex B 음성 검출기보다 $70\%$ 이상의 높은 성능재선을 나타냈고, RBF 신경망을 이용한 음성구간 검출기 보다 비음성 구간에서 $50\%$정도의 높은 효율을 보였다.

  • This paper first provides a wide overview about the design codes and standards covering the use of Computational Wind Engineering / Computational Fluid Dynamics (CWE/CFD) for wind-sensitive structures and built environment. Second, the paper sets out the basic assumptions and underlying concepts of the new Annex T "Simulations by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD/CWE)" of the revised version "Guide for the assessment of wind actions and effects on structures" issued by the Advisory Committee on Technical Recommendations for Constructions of the Italian National Research Council in February 2019 and drafted by the members of the Special Interest Group on Computational Wind Engineering of the Italian Association for Wind Engineering (ANIV-CWE). The same group is currently advising UNI CT021/SC1 in supporting the drafting of the new Annex K - "Derivation of design parameters from wind tunnel tests and numerical simulations" of the revised Eurocode 1: Actions on structures - Part 1-4: General actions - Wind actions. Finally, the paper outlines the subjects most open to development at the technical and applicative level.

조선시대 영남지방 별당과 정자건축의 '창얼굴' 형식 및 변천에 관한 연구 -온돌방과 대청 주위 쌍창을 중심으로- (A Study on the Forms and Modifications of 'Chang-aelgool'(窓乻骨) in Annex and Pavillion Buildings in Yeong-nam Region during the Chosun Dynasty - Focused on 'Ondol' Rooms and 'Ssang-chang' around the Main Floored Room -)

  • This study mainly inquired characteristics and changes of 'Chang-aelgool' through 38 cases(with 161 Ssang-chang) of annex and pavillion buildings in Yeong-nam region which are built during the Chosun dynasty. The method of inquiry included actual survey of windows along with bibliographical research, and the results are as below. First, through the discovery of the term 'Chang-aelgool' as an indication of the window-forming frame in 'YeongGeonUiGwe'(1680 A.D), it is apparent that the term 'Chang-aelgool' was widely used in Korea from the late 17th century. Second, the 'Chang-aelgool' of study objects are classified into 4 categories. Type I and II are comprised of mitre-joints which cover the 4 corners of 'Chang-aelgool' and mainly used in building annex and pavillion buildings during the early period of the Chosun dynasty. Type III was widely used during the early and middle period of the Chosun dynasty and drastically dropped in number during the late period of the dynasty. Type IV is comprised of mitre-joint of the upper-half, tenon-jointing of the lower-half and widely used in annex and pavillion building during the late period of the Chosun dynasty. Third, the form of 'Chang-aelgool' has changed from rectangular form with longer width during the early period of Chosun dynasty to square form during the middle period and eventually ended up as a rectangular form with longer height during the late period of the dynasty. Fourth, it is considered that while mullion which is located in the center of 'Chang-aelgool' was mainly used around the main floored room during the early period of the Chosun dynasty, became commonly used in main floored room and 'ondol' rooms during the middle period and drastically dropped in number from then and ended up being not in use after the mid 18th century.

임베디드 환경에서의 H.235 기반 VoIP 보안 단말 구현 및 안전성 분석에 관한 연구 (An implementation and security analysis on H.235 for VoIP security on embedded environments)

  • 본 논문에서는 ITU-T에서 제안한 VoIP 표준인 H.323 시스템의 보안 프로토콜인 H.235에 대하여 연구하고 이를 임베디드 환경의 IP Phone에 구현하여 VoIP 보안 프로토콜의 구현 요구사항 및 구현 결과에 따른 분석을 실시하였다. 특히 annex D에서 제안하고 있는 VoIP 단말에서의 보안 기능을 분석하여 구현하였는데, annex D에서는 HMAC-SHAI-96을 이용하여 인중과 무결성을 제공하고 Diffie-Hellman을 이용해서 음성 데이터 암호화에 사용되는 세션 키를 암호화해서 전달하며 음성 데이터의 암호화를 위한 RC2, DES, 3DES 등을 지원하고 있다. 또한 annex D의 안전성 및 상호 연동 문제점을 분석하여 취약점을 발견하고 보안을 강화하는 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

Cyclic mechanical model of semirigid top and seat and double web angle connections

  • In this paper, a cyclic mechanical model is presented to simulate the behaviour of top and seat with web angle beam-to-column connections. The introduced mechanical model is compared with Eurocode 3 Annex J, its extension, and with experimental data. To have a better insight regarding the actual response of the joints, available results of the experiments, carried out on full-scale top and seat angle joints under monotonic and cyclic loading, are first considered. Subsequently, a finite element model of the test setup is developed. The application of the proposed model, its comparisons with the experimental curves and with the Eurocode 3 Annex J and with its modification, clearly show the excellent quality of the model proposed.

자발적 탄소시장형성에 따른 정책지원방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Supporting Policy for the Voluntary Carbon Market)

  • Non-Annex I parties announced the voluntary emission reduction targets including the U.S. in the conference of party. NAMAs would be focused to solve the negotiation clue for the post-kyoto regime. Since the country would not be involved in Annex I parties, the voluntary carbon market would be created for the greenhouse gas reduction targets. According to Bali Roadmap, voluntary carbon market should be constructed by the MRV manners since this country does not belong to Annex I parties. Carbon point system would be proposed by the ways of the international voluntary emission reduction credit. The voluntary carbon market should involve the potential GHG reduction credit and link with the ETS in the country. This study proposed the way of linkage between ETS and voluntary carbon market including the carbon-point system.

  • After the Kyoto Protocol has been ratitied in Feb. 16 2005, the developed countries which is involved in Annex-1 have tried to mitigate GHG to the reduction objective. To accomplish this objective, EU developed EU-ETS, CDM project, and so on. Korea has faced pressure to be a member of Annex-1, because Korea and Mexico are only non-Annex-1 countries in the OECD nations. This study is intended to examine unfolding transition on negotiations of Conference of Parties(COP), the Kyoto Mechanism referred as a cost-effective tool to meet a targeted level of greenhouse gas decrease, and trends in responses of developed countries to the Kyoto Protocol, and finally suggests legal and politic counterplans responding to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(hereafter, UNFCCC).

탄소배출권 거래제의 도입과 전망 (Adoption of Carbon Emissions Trading and Its Prospects)

  • Korea has been officially classified as a non Annex-I country under the Kyoto Protocol, however, international community is used to considering it as if it were an Annex-I country. Korea has been under great pressure from the international community, especially from the EU and the US, to get included as an Annex-I country or to accept a legally-binding emissions reduction target like other developed nations. Korean Government declared its national target of emissions reduction in 2020 before the Copenhagen meeting, and also pronounced "Low-Carbon Green-Growth" as a new national paradigm to drive the entire nation toward a low carbon society and develop a new growth momentum. The 'green Act', which was passed by the National Assembly in 2009, is a comprehensive and fundamental law providing legal grounds to all of the national policies and measures that are needed to transform the nation into a low-carbon society. Korean government announced to begin Carbon Emissions Trading from 2015, instead of the originally scheduled year of 2013, considering global trends and industrial competitiveness in a flexible manner. The Carbon Emission Trading would reduce carbon emissions by 30 percent from the expected 2020 level, or 4 percent below its emissions in 2005.

교토의정서 Annex B 국가의 CO2 배출량 구조변화 분석 (Structural Change in CO2 Emissions of Annex B Countries Under the Kyoto Protocol)

  • 본 연구는 교토의정서 Annex B 국가들의 $CO_2$ 배출량 변화를 분석하였다. Quandt-Andrews 검정을 이용하여 $CO_2$ 배출량의 구조변화 시점을 우선적으로 파악하여 그 시점을 기준으로 $CO_2$ 배출요인의 변화를 비교 분석하였다. Quandt-Andrews 검정 결과 교토의정서 발효 3년 후인 2008년 $CO_2$ 배출량의 구조변화가 확인되었다. 에너지 소비량의 1% 증가가 구조변화 이전에는 1%의 소득 증가를 가져왔으며, 그 이후에는 0.31%의 소득 증가를 가져온 것으로 나타났으며, 분석기간 중 분석대상국의 $CO_2$ 배출량은 소득에 대해 단조 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 신재생에너지 소비량의 증가는 구조변화 시점을 전후로 $CO_2$ 배출량을 각각 0.1%와 0.09% 감소시킨 것으로 나타났다. 구조변화 시점 이후 에너지 효율성의 상대적으로 감소와 소득 증가에 따른 $CO_2$ 배출량의 지속적 증가, 신재생에너지 정책 효과의 미미함 등으로 미루어 볼 때, 교토의정서의 발효가 Annex B 국가들의 온실가스 감축을 가져왔다고 판단하기 어려운 것으로 나타났다.
