The expression of the movement in the animation is one of important factors built up the work. It is determined wholly by the experiences of the animator in the animation, on the contrary, the expression of movie depends on the data obtained from the motion capture or the movement of the actors. One of the most important factors is the timing expression in expression of movement of characters and the proper understanding of direction circumstance and the expression of the timing make the animation more plentiful visually and also these are the basic method that introduce the feeling to the characters. In this study we Identify the basic principles of timing expression in the animation, make experiments for the changes of timing by the camera's angle, compare them and show the most proper methods of timing expression.
Animation is breathing life into drawings through motion. Animation is formed by the afterimage phenomenon, that is, deviation of sequential pictures in every frame makes a person possibly perceive it as a live video. Consequently, animation is mostly produced using traditional frame-by-frame methods. The study of relations on timing has been a major concern of animation theory. Nevertheless, issues of timing on production outcomes and effectiveness are mostly ignored. Special focus, analysis and leadership studies on timing are addressed on animatics. Creating better timing through animatics, that is writing movies, directing, scheduling and amending storyboard in pre-production stage, eventually shorten time to animation production. This research is centered on animatics as a cutting edge educational courses. This course will introduce students to the animation production skill and instructors to in-depth teaching points. One of the concepts that we want to go for is keeping animatics apart from mere storyboard. In conjunction with the animation theory, this research conducted under the focus of production of animatics will lead to more efficient way of education on animatics.

How to express movement in animation is one of the most important elements which form a work. An Interaction of the expression of a movement and the timing is a basic element which we need to understand and create an animation as a visual art. At this point the timing is an amount of the time required to move object or characters. This paper clears up the fundamental principle of the timing in stop-motion animations and shows Ideal timing methods by comparisons and experiments of the timings which change on a camera's angles.

one of the most difficult thing for beginner animators is timing. In animations, timing can help to make character animatedly and have function that delivers the character's feeling. However, it is impossible to formulate this timing, since timing for certain time and situation can only express the character's environment, so it is important to make you own timing. the timing has special relationship with animation sounds. This sound decides the animation's mood. Even only accurate cord and music can make dramatic mood for animations. One of the technique is mickey mousing which synchronizes movement and music together. This these will explain about the animation sound using mickey mousing technique to get for animation timing and character movement followed by sound rhythm and tempos with examples 'Tom and Jerry' and 'Nightmare of christmas'.

Recently, webtoons-based animations have been expanding in Korea, where the role of mobile devices is growing, and media videos such as "YouTube" and "Tik-Tok," which have shorter screening and production cycles than traditional feature films, dramas, and animations, are attracting attention and being enjoyed by public. In order to produce animation content that fits the trend of this shortening video and production cycle, efficiency must be increased not only in story but also in production. Production methods and production technologies need changes to increase efficiency. Animation using motion capture, which is highly production-efficient, is widely used in movies that shows realistic movements, but still has little use in producing cartoon-style animations with exaggerated movements. We analyzed the production method of 2D animation and CG animation and applied the result to CG animation to increase the efficiency of production and production. The methods of production through such experiments are expected to help improve the efficiency of producing animation content that is suitable for the latest trends such as webtoon animation.
Comic book readers have respectively different reading speed and this means that time in comics is translated by readers' view. The authors arrange panels and gutters to control time, but time recognition in comics depends on the readers and generally it is the readers' role. On the contrary, the phenomenon having occurred by infinite canvas varied the authority of timing. Infinite canvas can give the comic book authors more authority of controlling timing than the readers by intervening in readers' relative time as an agents and transforming their fictive time into absolute time. Following to the concept of "Agency" in games, agency is the power which satisfies the players by reemergence of their intentions. Since some of digital comics absorbed the properties of other media such as animation and sound, we can see that the reader's timing agency is shifted to the author's timing agency. The purpose of this study is to analyse this phenomenon and to remind that agency motivated by the balance between material constraints and formal constraints becomes a condition of readability of digital comics but excessive timing constraints given to the readers causes a decrease of the readers' timing agency. This also can be a considerable matter when we produce digital comics.

A hierarchical motion control system for animation of 3D human character is implemented using the motion database in realtime. The proposed motion control system consists of coordination controller for gait timing and balancing of walking motion, joint servo controller for realistic limb movement, and motion database for goal-directed character animation which makes time-consuming animation relatively easy task. As one example among the various applications of the proposed motion control system. We present a simple virtual reality system in which the motion control system plays a central role in generating realistic motion of virtual human character.
A pose is an important component in the animation with timing and spacing. Pose is the key to describe the story-telling or how the animation behavior. Key animation method is Straight Ahead and pose to pose method. Many animaters have been using these two methods, or by a mix of two ways. It is possible that computer animation make a pose using interpolation between keyframes. The many animators of computer animation are using pose to pose in their work. It is depend on good and strong pose that make audience understand a story or a situation. This makes animators to be efficient of inefficient operation. In this study, according to the effective good pose to catch proposes four ways. There are four methods of making pose that are stretch and squash, the height of the character, the center of weight, step. The law of 12 kinds of Disney Animation is a good reference for the study.
This study is based on theoretical background about movements of visual communication highlighted in digital age. Such movements are variously expressed in animation with the advancement of media, and their expression has great effect on visual art. Artists' concern and endeavor about movement expression techniques have been continued by impressionism, expressionism, futurism, cubism closely related with the birth of movie from late 19th century to early 20th century. At that time, stationary 2D space in plane screen couldn't express movement or time directly. Later, artists and designers have attempted to approach illusions in pictures or 4 dimension and movements by 2D or 3D computer graphics. The visual image in present digital age is to see, to hear, to feel by timing, so it is necessary for the most efficient way of message communication. And then, it is the time to start new, scientific, and creative study about production techniques of animation and expression of movements, since domestic animation productions are rapidly changed from cell to digital. The aim of this study is to clarify the motive of movement by theoretical inquiry of animation. Various aspects of animation as synthetic art have been examined by mathematical, scientific, and philosophical viewpoint. The results will be useful to the expression of motions for maximization of emotional effect in animation production or basic data of virtual simulation about certain situation. Therefore, such study should be managed as multidisciplinary research in the rapidly changing visual culture paradigm. namely, animation includes much more imaginative & creative power than simple function or techniques, so it has to be recognized as special synthetic art(visual art) constructing an area, the formative art with philosophical viewpoint and scientific principles.
