The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning of soul fashion in American pop culture. This study was conducted using a literature research method based on the prior theses, journals and relevant books. Soul as a concept, originated in African-American communities and evolved from the ideology of Black Power, which prompted Black Nationalism. Soul fashion, which took on two styles in African American culture began to embody black resistance and community pride in the late 20th century. One of these, hip-hop style represented the message of resistance and a sense of beauty outside the mainstream. The other, African-inspired fashion, which utilized a look inspired by African tradition, rejected white supremacy by expressing a proud dignity. As a result, the meaning of "soul" in soul fashion represented by American pop culture resulted in contrasting appearance due to different elements. First, one of its meanings is ironic and sarcastic, and it expressed historical trauma, cultural stereotypes, self-hatred, and self-degradation and, the self-mutilation of African-American by cynically distorting their silhouettes and, using modified materials and patterns, fantastic colors, and extraordinary accessories. Second, the other meanings is the pride and dignity of Black Power, which visualized the concentration of ideas implied by the tradition of African-American, through soul fashion by using fierce traditional of African costumes, unique patterns and accessories.

This study was conducted using a multiple regression model to empirically analyze the impact of personal emotions and social change perceptions of pandemic experienced by Korean people in the COVID-19 situation on the perception of disaster response after the endemic. For this end, we used the survey data with 996 respondents on 「Daily Changes of the People After COVID-19」conducted by the Korea Press Promotion Foundation. The results showed that COVID-19 positive emotions and social change perception factors had a positive (+) effect on disaster response perception, while the sense of community had a moderating effect that alleviated COVID-19 negative emotions which had a negative (-) effect. The most influential factors on disaster response perception after the endemic were COVID-19 positive emotions and community sense that had pride and stability in Korean society during disaster situations. Therefore, this study suggests that systematic disaster response manuals and control towers that give the public pride and stability are more strongly requested for the government's prior and follow-up measures performed in the post-endemic disaster situation, and that the people are asked to have the community sense to overcome disasters together rather than to respond with personal actions and judgments.

As the level of the national income has been improved and the whole nation health insurance project has been spread, medical demand for dental health is also increasing. To cope with the increased medical demand, the need of dental health education and preventive dental care is recognized, and the number of dental hygienists is being increased with increase in dental clinics and hospitals. While more weight is actually given to treatment than prevention in hospitals, emphasis is placed on prevention in public health centers of state-run organizations and dental hygienists are performing the duty. According to this, dental hygienists shall be treated and recognized as professionals, who instruct people in dental health and assist the dentists in hospitals. Therefore to suggest vision to the students of department of dental hygiene, give them a solid motive, and inspire them with professional sense so that they can devote themselves to their duty with pride and self-confidence in the field can lead to contribution to dental health of each individual and the whole nation, in order to train them to be dental hygienists who are active and strive for change and development as professionals and capable of adapting themselves to the field of dental medicine. In this study, the professional sense and the recognition of the way of students belonging to department of dental hygiene were examined and based on this, a new direction for department of dental hygiene of three-year college was suggested.

This study aims to analyze the effects of residents participation activities on continued motivation in an urban regeneration project. For the analysis, this study was conducted the survey residents who participated in Cheongju-si urban regeneration project. Based on the survey, this study examined residents' awareness and analyzed the resident participation activities that affect the participation motivation(reward, sense of achievement, sense of expectation)through hierarchical regression analysis. The first of the results, the rewards obtained through participation activities is not affected by all resident participation activities. Second, sense of achievement obtained through participation activities such as pride or satisfaction is affected by both promotion and management of project and daily meeting activities. Finally, sense of expectation for the change of the town is only affected by daily meeting activities. These results help to find out required resident participation activities to give participation motivation inducing the continued participation in the urban regeneration project.

To reveal secondary teachers' in-service education needs, in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 individual teachers based on semi-structured questions and qualitative data analysis procedures were adopted. They wanted to have; a. more knowledge of one's subject, subject related information, culture and common sense, counseling psychology, foreign language, and the 7th curriculum, b. better skills of student-centered teaching-learning methods, guidance and class management, good use of computers, and educational evaluation, c. improved attitudes regarding democratic problem solution processes, conversation with and service to students from their viewpoints, commitment to preparations for teaching, educational innovation and improvement, elimination of improperness, and pride of teaching job.

This study considered about an attitude and a role of a female banker. It is the purpose of this study to present problems and to suggest directions through empirical research because a female banker offers service directly for National welfare. The research findings are as follows : (1) A female banker They have to work with a pride and a sense of duty which they serve for society. (2) Bank's inside organization A strong leadership of a manager and a rational management of personnel system are needed. (3) A labor union It must lay stress on enlargement of welfare work and understand opinion of a union member.

Purpose： To evaluate the white matter fiber connectivity of normal human using diffusion tensor MRI. Method： Normal young healthy volunteers (2 women and 1 man) and 3 brain tumor patients participated in this study. All studies were performed using a 1.5T Philips Gyroscan Intern system. Diffusion weighted imaging was performed using single-shot echo planar imaging, with navigator echo phase correction and SENSE. Diffusion weighting was performed along six independent axes, using diffusion weighting of b=800s/$\textrm{mm}^2$. 128matrix, 23cm FOV, 2.5mm slice thickness were used for Imaging parameters. Data were processed on a Window-2000 PC equipped with IDL and PRIDE (Philips Medical System). Corticospinal tract was traced from mid-pons level via posterior limb of internal capsule. Corpus callosum, cerebellar peduncles and frontal fibers were traced by fiber tractography.

This study investigates happy life experiences and their emotional responses to these experiences with a sample of Korean students and adults. A total of 489 Korean university students and adults completed an open-ended questionnaire developed by the present researchers. Three sets of results have been found. First, while experiences of achievement and failure affect the strength of feelings of happiness or unhappiness, social relationships with family members and friends affect the frequency of feelings of happiness or unhappiness. Second, while strong positive affects are aroused by sense of achievement and pride, frequent positive affects are aroused by feeling of calmness and positive relational emotions (such as Jung - deep affection and attachment). Third, while strong negative affects are aroused by sense of frustration and sadness, frequent negative affects are aroused by anxiety and negative relational emotions (such as the sense of indebtedness and shame). These results indicate that the interpersonal relationships with family members and friends and personal achievements and failures influence the subjective well-being of feeling happy or unhappy with people's lives.

The study analyzed the characteristic of school uniform, focusing on Ewha Woman's University of Seoul, reflected present trend as well as characteristic and symbol of school and developed uniform design for advertising Ewha Woman's University. The purpose of this study is to propose uniform that can be discriminated from that of other university and increase advertisement effect with mental superiority and pride in university by trying uniform design development, which can provide school and student with satisfaction, and reflecting present trend as well as characteristic and symbol of school. The study is meaningful because it can be basic materials for various uniform designs, connecting function, symbol and trend to uniform development. The uniform for school advertisement was manufactured in a way to reflect characteristic and image of school, escape from fixed idea preferring traditional design in the past and reflect trend. It is expected that the uniform created with symbolic image of school will give high advertisement effect and improve school image by providing student with sense of coherence and discriminated feeling in various events and the meeting with other school students. Moreover, the student wearing the uniform with splendid design will feel mental superiority and have pride in school at the same time. In conclusion, the uniform reflecting trend is proper for the uniform of advertisement helper representing school as long as it can reflect characteristic and image of school. It will be also helpful for developing wider design and more splendid uniform because the study can create the motive to apply trend to other uniform that does not adopt trend.
