It is necessary to access managing human resources of hospitals with diversity in order to operate hospital organization successfully and efficiently. The research tries to analyze affecting factors of organizational effectiveness of hospital workers according to their positions. The research has been performed on the 836 hospital workers of 8 different positions in the Busan & Gyeong-nam area, utilizing SPSS version 19.0 for processing and analyzing the data. The major results of the research are as following. First, among such factors of organizational effectiveness as sense of belonging to work, pride, work settlement, wage satisfaction, job satisfaction, colleague perception, and unstable consciousness of their job, there is a meaningful difference according to the kinds of working institution and positions. Second, there was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) as to higher work settlement and wage satisfaction within all kinds of positions. In addition, there was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) as to higher job satisfaction and colleague perception within all kinds of positions except for physical therapist, general adminstration, facilities, nutrition, and etc. There was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) within all kinds of positions except for general adminstration, facilities, nutrition, and etc, as to lower job or work complaint.

The purpose of this study suggests the emotion of residents as indexes in Korean housing environment for providing a fundamental guideline for precise dwelling social science and indicating the view for understanding of residents in korean housing culture in korea. So this paper explores the role of residents emotion indexes in housing environment and community. For this study, survey and depth-interview methods were used for data collection. The subjects were 514 housewives living in apartments. The statistical methods for data analysis were frequency, mean, multiple linear regression and logistic regression analysis using the SPSS 18.0 program The major findings are as follows: 1)Pride of neighborhood, pride of apartment complex and sense of superiority were important factors for residental satisfaction. 2)Conspicuous image of neighbors and active contact with neighbors were import factors for their neighborship in the apartment complex. The results develop the housing environment evaluation indexes in community through the contextual understanding of space emotion society.
This study compares and contrasts Jane Austen's novels of sensibility with those of Rousseau and Goethe. In Julie, or The New Heloise and The Sorrows of Young Werther, the passionate but doomed love of the heroine and her lover is juxtaposed with her passionless marriage to the virtuous husband. In Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, Austen revises Rousseau and Goethe's novels of sensibility to accommodate them to the puritanical English literary conventions. She parodies the basic plot of Menage a trois found in their novels of sensibility and transforms her novels into British Bildungsroman, focusing on the heroines' maturation. In Sense and Sensibility, Marianne stands up against the mercenary and snobbish high society. However, Austen represses Marianne's sensibility since the indulgence in sensibility can bring about sexual fall, as is evidenced by the cases of the two Elizas. Marianne's dangerous fever following Willoughby's betrayal emphasizes that female sexual desire should be punished for her continued existence in the high society. The taming of her sensibility and body through the fever is posited as a prerequisite for the happy marriage. In Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth favors the deprived Wickham over the wealthy Darcy. As Wickham turns out to be a debauched lover, Darcy snatches sexual charms from him and is transfigured into one of the most virtuous and attractive husbands in Menage a trois of the novels of sensibility. Acknowledging sexuality as a vital element of a courtship, Austen embeds sexual desire in dances and glances. However, Elizabeth has to repress sensibility and desire and the complete gratification of desire is continuously deferred to some indefinite period in the future. Marriage is a synecdoche for the union of the bourgeois and the aristocracy in Austen's Bildungsroman and Marianne and Elizabeth are bestowed with happy marriage in return for repressing their sensibility and desire. Since their 'normality' and 'maturation' have been achieved at the expense of subversive sexual power of deviant sensibility, they look too impotent to gratify their desire when they finally secure comfortable but mediocre upper class life.
The purpose of this study was to understand the new generation's culture and to analyze if the characteristics of their lifestyle is significant for the study of new generation's fashion. The new generation's characteristics of lifestyle can be described as a strong pride of their own self and the life which expresses that pride. To analyze this characteristics connecting it with fashion, it is as follows: -It is the egocentric sensitivity culture. In their fashion, there appears a tendency that sense and individuality are counted much rather than fashion. -Diverse fashion information is gained through the mass media and communication. The sense for fashion is liable to change according to the circumstances and, simulated world is made. -The sense of denial is not shown much to the western lifestyle and way of thinking owning to the international open culture. Their consciousness and favorite of fashion are beyond the border. The new generation showed the unprecedent way of expression, denying the established form, and this is defined as Borderless fashion. The Borderless fashion leads a whole trend of new generation's fashion in the late part of ninties. Two typical trends appear as Genderless look for the individualic group and Romanticism look laying stress on womanliness.
This study is focusing on the fact that Medical bodies are a labor-intensive organization in the technological field which needs technical knowledge and concerted efforts and then explaining the job value and the workplace value on the basis of trust in terms of a sense of organizational unity. The study reveals that, the higher recognition of their seniors the medical workers have, the higher level of self-esteem for job value they have. In terms of personal characteristics, educational experience has a meaningful influence on self-esteem for job value; in terms of job characteristics, the period of one`s service and monthly salary have a meaningful influence on it. And, it is found, the higher the pride on workplace, respect and trust in seniors, loyalty to seniors and self-esteem for job value are, the more proud they feel of workplace.
Objectives: This study aims at examining the association of sense of community with community participation for health promotion in urban areas of Korea. Methods: We analyzed data from 'Community Capacity for Healthy Gangdong Communites' Survey' in 2007. The survey was based on self-reported questionnaires, which were distributed to 1,800 community residents over the age of nineteen in five administrative communities of Gangdong-gu, Seoul, in Korea by using proportionate probability sampling method. We measured 'Sense of community' with four indicators including 'Good neighborhoods', 'Perceived possibility of cooperation', 'Pride of community' and 'Possibility of development' by using 5-point Likert scales. Community participation was measured with the experience rate or the extent of participation by 5-point Likert scales in seven community actions or activities including voting, community program planning, social actions, etc. We examined the association of sense of community with community participation by using regression analyses. Results: This study has shown that sense of community was associated with and made positive impacts on community participation in diverse community actions or activities in urban communities. Conclusions: For promoting community health in urban areas, we can increase community participation more effectively with the efforts of enhancing sense of community.
Purpose - Previous studies have not paid attention to global self-corporate brand congruity and affective approach from the viewpoint of global self. This study explored an inducement of gratitude that, under the circumstance of corporate association, consumers feel toward corporate's responsible activities, pride related to corporate's ability, and global self congruity. Current researches also have examined positive behavior effects of global self-corporate brand congruity and the feelings on corporate products. Research design, data, and methodology - This research theoretically reviewed that corporate ability and social responsibility association would influence global self-corporate brand congruity, that corporate ability association could induce consumers' sense of pride, and that social responsibility association might induce gratitude. This study, furthermore, examined theoretically whether global self-corporate brand congruity, pride and gratitude could make consumers behave positively toward corporate products, and developed hypotheses. For the empirical analysis with the questionnaires, 231 employees and common people completed the questionnaires, and structural equation model of AMOS 18.0 was used. Results - From the empirical analysis, the outcomes are as followings. First, corporate ability association makes consumers feel proud. Second, corporate social responsible association makes consumers feel grateful. Third, both corporate ability association and social responsibility association let consumers be aware of global self-corporate brand congruity. Fourth, being conscious of each of pride, gratitude and global self-corporate brand congruity prompts consumers to behave positively toward corporate products. Fifth, mediation effects of pride and the congruity in the roles of corporate ability association on the positive behavior, and those of gratitude and the congruity in the roles of corporate social responsible association on the positive behavior are identified. Conclusions - Based on the results, it can be said that a marketing manager should endeavor to make consumers associate the corporate ability and social responsibility. However, the degree of consumers' feelings such as pride and gratitude can differ according to their cultural backgrounds. It is, therefore, needed to be explored by the types of feelings that can be caused more from the difference in cultural backgrounds by corporate association, and to be investigated differently and positively with behavioral effects on the corporate's products between the types.
This study analyzed the effect of the farm's sense of community on participation satisfaction by participating in the contract cultivation of onions. To this end, we investigated the participation satisfaction with the sense of community's emotional connection, fulfillment of need, membership, and influence. According to the analysis of the sense of community of onion farmers, the definition of need, membership, and influenced participation satisfaction and were statistically significant. It was also shown to affect sense of community in the order of membership, Influence, fulfillment of need, and emotional connection. Therefore, it is necessary to form a continuous relationship with the leader and Nonghyup, to lead to improved farm income, induce pride as a member of participating farmers, and form a positive perception among onion farmers.

Healthcare organizations need mutual cooperation among various medical professionals in order to carry out the performance of their duties spite of haying a strong job specialization and independence based on license. However, spite of the importance of leadership roles, there have not been enough researches dealt with leadership effect under the complex duties' relationship of a healthcare organization. This study suggested a new model by combining characteristics of leadership style, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The data were self-administered questionnaires collected in 2006 from 437 employees (nurses, medical technicians, and administrative staffs) of 5 hospitals located in Seoul. The items of questionnaire were composed as a method of choosing new leadership style based on the Bass's standardized questionnaire on a Iransactionaljtransformational leadership combining the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire-XII (LBDQ-XII) of the Ohio State University and Graen and Uhl-Bien's LMK scale through simulation techniques responding to organizational commitment. As a result, the leadership style increasing employees' self-confidence and having continuous response relationship between managers and employees improved their discretion and empowerment as well as worthwhileness and pride. However, the leadership style emphasizing reward and a sense of duty brought about a bed result that was not able to effectively respond to employees' discretion and empowerment and even weakened their worthwhileness and pride. After all, the leadership style based on vision and change had an effect on organizational commitment but the other one based on reward and a sense of duty seemed to be unsuccessful in organizational commitment. Therefore, the desirable leadership in a healthcare organization should be based on employees' self-confidence and continuous response relationship between managers and employees.

The analytical result indicates that their sociological variables including education background, age and marital status, and job satisfaction factors including employment term, job title, compensation, organization, promotion, colleague, job transfer have a significant impact on the quality of their life. This means that their job satisfaction affects the quality of life. In other words, it is necessary to create an environment which can offset their complaints about job environment and conditions and furthermore, generate a sense of pride and a rewarding experience. The study suggests transparent, fair HR system and continuous training and management in consideration of employees' qualification, experience and interest to boost a sense of pride and social recognition and increase the level of job satisfaction as a result. In line with this approach, their dedication to bringing positive changes in local communities is also essential.
