This study presented the need to research into 'emotional response' and 'willingness to use apps', perceived by consumers using food delivery apps amidst the spread of smartphones and surge in use of food delivery apps. This study was also intended to present 'service quality' of food delivery apps, along with 'arousal' and 'pleasure' which represented the 2 types of emotional dimension of Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance(PAD), as variables that could strengthen the willingness to use food delivery apps and examine their roles. On the basis of results of such analysis, we intended to provide basic data necessary for development and operation of food delivery app contents. For subjects and spatial scope of this study, we selected domestic male and female residents nationwide who were aged 20 or older and had experience of using food delivery apps over the last 3 months. Among the subjects of this study, we surveyed foodservice consumers who had experienced of ordering food via food delivery apps such as Baedal Minjok, Yogiyo, and Baedaltong. Based on results of this study, it was found that design and sympathy related to food delivery app service quality had a positive effect on arousal while design and reliability had a positive effect on pleasure. Both informativity and mobility of food delivery app service quality were found to have a positive effect on the willingness to use apps. The pleasure from PAD had a positive effect on willingness to use apps, while arousal did not have any effect on willingness to use apps. The results of this study suggested that design and reliability, informativity, mobility were very important factors in inducing foodservice consumers to use food delivery apps continuously.
The following research analyzes that the level of self-monitoring have an influence on user experience about website. For this research, university students participated in a survey where they evaluated user experience -usability, aesthetics, pleasure- about the new screen images of two homepages of differences in brand recognizability. The "self-monitoring(high/low, except for middle)" and the "brand recognizability(high/low, except for middle)" were set as independent variables and the "usability | deviation |", the "aesthetics | deviation |", the "pleasure | deviation |" were set as the dependent variables. Results, as with new screen images of homepage, there were significant differences in the usability and aesthetics based on the level in self-monitoring. Especially, when level of brand recognizability is low, there was more differences in the usability and aesthetics based on the level in self-monitoring. However, the influence of pleasure on self-monitoring was insignificant.
The study is to show the prevalence of double-care burdened households who care simultaneously for children(under 6) and provide invalid elderly care for aging parents among women aged 30s to 40s in Korea. The study aims to place care as ordinary needs for our whole lifetime, not as a special happening to a certain age group at specific period. Also, study attempts to reveal that care experiences include both burden and pleasure, and that care relationship, such as care giver-receiver-assistants(second-helpers), strongly affects the diversity of caring experience. Results are as follows. 38.1% of the survey respondents report that they are/have ever been the double-care burdened households who carry both child care under 6 and elderly care suffering from health problems in the past or the present. If including those who expecting the double burden of care in the near future, the prevalence rate goes up to 54.9%. As hypothesized, caring includes both pleasure and burden. The order of pleasant feelings is child care> parents care>in-law parents care, and that of burden is in reverse. However, caring relationship has a strong influence on pleasure or agony of the caring experience. The association between the relationship and the experience, which is expressed by pleasure or pain, occurs to both daughter-parents and in-laws. Interestingly, the caring experiences by daughter to her parents tend to go more burdensome because their husbands do not commit their identity as carer aid, with no additional caring effort for their in-laws. In conclusion, some policy suggestions for double care problems are provided.
In this paper, we propose new method to reduce variance and express mixed feelings in Russell's emotional dimension(A Circumplex model). A Circumplex model shows mean and variance of emotions(joy, sad, happy, enjoy et. al.) in PAD(Pleasure, Arousal, Dominace, et. al.) dimension using self-diagnostic method(SAM: Self-Assessment-Manikin). But other researchers consistently insisted that Russell's model had two problems. First, data(emotional words) gathered by Russell's method have too big variance. So, it is difficult to separate valid value. Second, Russell's model can not properly represent mixed feelings because it has structural problem(It has a single Pleasure dimension). In order to solve these problems, we change survey methods, so that we reduce value of variance. And then we conduct survey(which can induce mixed feelings) to prove Positive/Negative(Pleasure) part in emotion and confirm that Russell's model can be used to express mixed feelings. Using this method, we can obtain high reliability and accuracy of data and Russell's model can be applied in many other fields such as bio-signal, mixed feelings, realistic broadcasting, et. al.
This study is a study on the consumer reaction to the augmented reality advertisement which is a recent issue. this study was conducted based on the necessity of marketing advertisement technique suitable for the 4th industrial revolution era. First, we present the types of augmented reality ads based on previous studies, and examined the effects of enjoyment and formation of brand attitudes on brand attachment on products or services based on the perceived value of consumers for these types of ads. This study is briefly summarized as follows. Hypothesis (H1) empirical value had a positive effect on pleasure, and hypothesis H2) empirical value also had a positive effect on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H3) symbolic value had a positive effect on pleasure and hypothesis (H4) symbolic value had positive influence on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H5) Practical value has a positive effect on pleasure. Hypothesis (H7) Pleasure affects positively (+) influence on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H8, H9) enjoyment affects affection and brand attitude affects affection positively. Hypothesis (H6) Practical value did not affect brand attitude positively. It can be seen that the augmented reality advertisement communicates with consumers through experience or symbolic side rather than perceive practical value by consumer. The implication of this study is that the augmented reality advertisement is highly interactive with consumers and can induce consumer participation. This means that consumers are more aware of empirical and symbolic values rather than experiencing practical value through augmented reality advertising.

This study examines the diversity of garden culture in the Joseon Dynasty focusing on genre painting. Genre painting gives us insight into the various ways of enjoying the garden. The intimate activities portrayed in the painting show us about the vivid scenes of Korean garden at that time. Among the various meanings of gardens, sensual pleasure is focused on here. The garden has always been a place of pleasure for seeing, smelling, touching, meeting people and erotic flirting. Here, the oriental aesthetic idea of Pungryu is adopted to reformulate pleasure based on the traditional way of thought. Most Korean gardens in the Joseon Dynasty were understood as the place for Pungryu. Sensuality in the Korean garden associated with a high level of spiritual pleasure. In order to look closely into garden activities, genre paintings were selected and analyzed. Several characteristics were elicited. First, the garden was understood as the medium of communication through reconciling man with nature. Mediating man with nature often calls for uplifting the sense of community within groups of people. Second, the garden was featured as the place of cultural creation. Many scholars utilized the garden as a place for poetic imagination. Therefore, the garden was the locus of intellectual discourse. Third, personal retreat was one of important functions in the Korean garden. the humble attitude toward landscape such as solitude and mediation might be understood as one way of enjoying the nature. Fourth, taste, power and social relations were embedded in garden culture. Therefore, the garden was regarded as a space of distinction. Garden making was understood as one of the high class leisure activity. It was quite natural that the garden was used as a place of showing up their taste and culture. Finally, we need to reinvigorate the rich meanings of garden in contemporary practices. In-depth analysis of garden culture through the lens of genre painting gives us quite useful information in Korean garden culture.
This study seeks to identify the Entertainment tourist's pursuit values using means-ends chain theory. Data collection for this study is from July to October, 2012 in Jeju island. The procedure, Soft Laddering involves a series of one-on-one deep interviews with tourists who enjoyed performance arts. To carry out this study, first of all, contents analysis was employed to interview results. Second, Implication Matrix was made by contents analysis which showed direct and indirect relations. Finally, HVM was mapped for value systems. The results showed that Entertainment tourist's pursuit values were classified resulting in three values: Aesthetics, Communication with others, Pleasure. Especially in entertainment tourism, the major attributes was fun; the consequences was sensorial pleasure; the ultimate pursuit values was pleasure. These results support that entertainment tourists is homo ludens and entertainment tourism's marketer should concentrate on story-watching than story-telling.
Emotional computer that you want to study in a regular number change is the continuing sensitivity. Emotional Computing manner the sensibilities numbered and emotions were running through the trees. Emotional assessment of emotional sensibility computing was used as the coordinates of the key effects of the James A. Russell (Core Affect). Emotional tree runs purpose was to verify the correlation of sensitivity and emotion computing tree. Emotional tree attributes experiment color, brightness, saturation was configured with. When 50% brightness increase, about pleasure (X-axis) has increased by 10.49 points. Brightness 50%, GREEN 50% increase in the degree of pleasure (X-axis) of 10.49 points, tone (Y axis) has increased by 15.85 points. Brightness 50%, GREEN 50% increase in the degree of pleasure (X-axis) of 10.49 points, tone (Y axis) has increased by 15.85 points. Brightness 50% of the free-extent (X-axis), BLUE 50% when the tone (Y axis), pleasure extent (X-axis) of 10.49 points, tone (Y axis) as much as 14.65 points sensibilities have changed. When representatives emotions size changes have increased 50% brightness, color RED 50%, increased 5.4% Emotional excitement, emotion depressed declined -4.2%. 50% brightness, color GREEN 50% increase in emotional excitement had increased to 8.6%, declined by -5.5% this melancholy sensibility. Representative emotion and emotional changes increase or decrease the size of the emotional attributes were analyzed by quantitative methods. After the happy emotions number is needed to study more similar to the human emotion through the execution of the video image emotion emotional tree computing.
Image of emotional pleasure or displeasure, tension or emotional division of tranquility in the form of a tree is evaluated by weighting. Image representative evaluation of the sensitivity of the brightness contrast ratings 1 car pleasure, displeasure or stress or emotional tranquility and two cars are separated by image segmentation. Emotion Recognition of four compared to the numerical data is measured by brightness. OpenCV implementation through evaluation graph the stress intensity contrast, tranquility, pleasure, displeasure, depending on changes in the value of the computing is divided into four emotional. Contrast sensitivity of computing the brightness depending on the value entered 'nuisance' to 'excellent' or 'stress' to 'calm' the emotional changes can give. Calculate the sensitivity of the image regularity of localized computing system can control the future direction of industry on the application of emotion recognition will play a positive role.
This study investigated the cross-cultural differences in temperament among Chinese, Korean-Chinese, and Korean children. Subjects were 1,046(258 Korean-Chinese, 290 Chinese, and 498 Korean) 4th graders from Yanji in China and Seoul and Ulsan in Korea. The short form of the Early Adolescent Temperament Questionnaire Scale-Revised containing 10 scales of 54 items was translated into Korean for Korean and Korean-Chinese children and into Chinese for Chinese children and was administered to children via home-room teachers. Chinese children rated themselves higher on activation control, attention, and pleasure- and perceptual-sensitivity subscales than other groups. On the contrary, Chinese-Korean children rated themselves higher on the affiliation subscale and Korean children rated themselves higher on the aggression subscale than other groups. There were larger gender differences among Chinese and Korean-Chinese than among Korean children: Gender difference was found in activation control, aggression, and attention subscales among Chinese children and in affiliation, aggression, attention and fear subscales among Korean-Chinese. There was only significant difference in pleasure sensitivity among Korean. Rapid westernization in Korea seems to be responsible for this result. Since there were significant differences of temperament between Korean and Korean-Chinese, and between Chinese and Korean-Chinese, it was interpreted that children's temperament is influenced by both their environment and genetic endowment.
