In this study, the experimental results were simulated by using a nonlinear analysis programs IDARC 2D and RUAUMOKO 2D. These programs use a global Takeda-like model. The objectives of this study is to verify the correlation between the experimental and analytical responses of reinforced concrete (RC) frame and to provide the calibration to the available static inelastic analysis techniques. The evaluation of the accuracy of analytical simulation by IDARC 2D and RUAUMOKO 2D leads to the conclusion that the global behaviors can be, in general, simulated with limited accuracy in the linear analysis as detailing.

UBV observations have been made jointly at three observatories for the recent eclipse of the long period atmospheric eclipsing binary star Zeta Aur in 1995-6. Observations covered successfully the phases before, during, and after the eclipse enable us to determine the accurate time of mid-eclipse and the duration of the totality. The hypothesis of the expansion of the K supergiant has been tested and the positive conclusion may be derived.

The process of interpretation comprises the passage from blindness to pre-canonical responses, then the canonical interpretation and its dissemination. and finally silence and oblivion. But oblivion does not necessarily imply the conclusion of the interpretative process of work. A reinterpretation may follow. This study aims at searching the source of reinterpretation of Ronchamp Chapel. I analyzed the canonical interpretation. the site, function, and form of the chapel. I concluded that the contextualism, semiology, regionalism and other architectural conception may be the frame of reference for reinterpretation of Ronchamp Chapel.

At the conclusion from the hypothesis testing, there is a possibility of making Type I error and Type II error. The purpose of this article is to use this program in statistics teaching through developing the program for studying on the concept about these two errors, two kinds of the probability of errors by the variation of rejection region, two kinds of the probability of errors by the variation of sample size, the relations of the probability $\alpha$ and $\beta$ by these two errors, and power function, power curve.

In recent years, various power factor correction(PFC) circuits for the electronic ballasts have been proposed. In this paper, we have studied several passive PFC and compared with their characteristics, used in the electronic ballast for fluorescent. Especially, Improved Valley Fill Circuit (IVF) and the circuit IVF PFC combined with Charge Pumping Capacitors(CPCs) have been reaserched for High Power Factor. In conclusion, we have researched characteristics of Passive PFC and proposed the most effective PFC method.

Many pumping station of Maehang-ri of Hwasung city are established for irrigation water supply, and brine permeation phenomenon is happening thereby. Proposed optimum pumping fluid amount conclusion model that use tidal efficiency and Ghyben-Hertzberg theory so that brine does not permeate in pumping station hereupon and applied this in study area.

The slamming impact pressures at the bottom area of the Open60' are evaluated by the rules and regulations of various organizations - ISO and classification societies. The enhanced performance of the modern racing yacht in terms of speed which achieves well over 20 knots needs special consideration. The calculated design impact pressures are compared a experimental results. Severe difference can be found in these calculation results but the final conclusion shall be obtained after the scantling calculation under the evaluated design impact pressure so far.

Learning Disability is a terminology having a special difficulty in acquirement or use of listening, speaking, reading, writing, reasoning and arithmetic. It generally has a various form. 2. Learning Disability is induced by congenital factor, postnatal brain damage, environmental malfunction, nutrition and biochemical elements. 3. Learning Disability is classified into developmental and schoolwork.

Examining the relation between market structure and the value of innovation is important for competition and STI policy. If the value is large in a specific industry structure, government may lead the industry to take that form to enhance innovation. Our simple calibration in the case of linear demand and constant MC results in the conclusion that the incentive for R&D in the case of major and minor innovation in Cournot competition is less than that of merger and cooperative R&D. This emphasizes again "necessary evil" as a monopoly for innovation.
