유체 플라즈마 적용을 통한 고분산 금 나노분말 제조에 관한 연구

  • 나노입자는 벌크 재료와는 다른 광학적, 전기적, 촉매적 특징 때문에 최근 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 나노유체의 성질은 나노입자의 크기와 형상, 분산성등과 같은 여러 요인에 의해서 결정되어진다. 이러한 나노입자의 특징 때문에 여러 응용분야에서 활용되어지고 있다. 예를 들면, 일반 유체에 나노입자를 분산시키면, 열전도도와 대류열전달효과가 증대되어 진다. 이러한 나노유체의 제조법으로는 크게 두 가지로 분류되어 있다. 투스텝법은 환원법 혹은 기계적으로 제작한 나노입자를 일반 유체에 혼합시킨 후 분산을 시켜 제조하는 제조법이다. 원스텝법은 투스텝법과는 달리 한번에 나노유체를 제조하는 제조법이다. 일반 유체에서 나노유체를 제조함과 동시에 분산을 시켜서 제조한다. 최근, 유체내에서 나노유체를 제조함과 동시에 분산을 시켜 나노유체를 제조하는 새로운 기술인 유체 플라즈마법이 개발되었다. 하지만, 유체 플라즈마의 일반적인 거동과 해석이 명확하게 규명되지 않은 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 유체 플라즈마의 발생 메카니즘 규명을 위한 방전 시간, 전압, 단극 직류 전력, 극간거리에 따른 유체 플라즈마의 특징을 OES와 오실로스코프를 이용하여 측정하였다. 또한, 제조된 나노유체의 특징을 UV-vis nir spectropgotometer, HR-TEM, zeta-potential, EDS, ICP-OES, KD2 pro and lambda로 측정하였다. 유체 플라즈마를 각 조건에 따라 발생시켰고, 나노유체를 성공적으로 제조하였다. 유체 플라즈마의 주요 발생 원소는 산소와 수소이온으로 측정되었다. 유체 플라즈마의 강도는 전기에너지가 증가함에 따라서 증가함으로 측정되었다. 제조된 나노입자의 크기는 유체 플라즈마의 강도가 증가함에 따라서 감소하였고, 대부분의 나노입자의 형상은 구형으로 제조되었다. 나노유체의 분산안정성 또한 유체 플라즈마의 강도가 증가함에 따라서 증가하였다. 직경이 $18.1{\pm}5.0$ nm인 나노유체의 열전도도는 3%로 측정되었다. 유체 플라즈마에 의한 나노유체의 제조 메카니즘을 다음과 같이 제안한다. 유체내에서 전기에너지 인가에 따른 이온과 전자의 흐름은 유체 플라즈마를 발생시킨다. 기본 유체는 물이므로 유체 플라즈마의 주요 발생 원소는 수소와 산소이며, 인가되는 전기에너지량이 증가함에 따라서 이온과 전자의 흐름이 증가됨으로서 유체 플라즈마의 강도가 증가함으로 추측한다. 유체 플라즈마 발생은 전자의 흐름과 관계되어진다. 따라서, 유체내에 존재하는 전구체에 전자가 제공되어짐에 따라서 금 입자를 환원시켜 입자가 형성된다. 또한, 유체 플라즈마는 나노입자를 음전하로 대전시켜 분산안정성의 확보가 되는 것으로 추측되어진다.

Growth and Characterization of Self-catalyed GaAs Nanowires on Si(111) for Low Defect Densities

  • 1차원 반도체인 nanowires (NWs)는 전기적, 광학적으로 일반 bulk구조와 다른 특성을 가지고 있어서 현재 많은 연구가 되고 있다. 일반적으로 NWs는 Au 등의 금속 촉매를 이용하여 성장을 하게 되는데 이때 촉매가 오염물로 작용을 해서 결함을 만들어서 bandgap내에 defect level을 형성하게 된다. 본 연구는 Si(111) 기판 위에 Ga-droplet을 촉매로 사용을 하여 molecular beam epitaxy로 성장을 하였다. 성장온도는 600$^{\circ}C$로 고정을 하였고 growth rate은 GaAs(100) substrate에서 2.5 A/s로 Ga의 양을 고정하고 V/III ratio를 1부터 8까지 변화를 시켰다. As의 양에 따라서 생성되는 NWs의 개수가 증가하고 growth rate이 빨라지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Transmission Electron Microscopy 분석 결과 낮은 V/III ratio에서는 zincblende, wurtzite 그리고 stacking faults 가 혼재 되어 있는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 이러한 결함은 소자를 만드는데 한계가 있기 때문에 pure zincblende나 pure wurtzite를 가져야 하는데 V/III ratio : 8 에서 pure zincblende구조가 되었다. Gibbs-Thomson effect에 따르면 구조적 변화는 Ga droplet과 NWs의 접면에서 크기가 중요한 역할을 한다[1]. 연구 결과 V/III ratio : 8일 때 Ga droplet의 크기가 zincblende성장에 알맞다는 것을 예상할 수 있었다. laser confocal photoluminescence 결과 상온에서 1.43 eV의 bandgap을 가지는 bulk구조와는 다른 와 1.49eV의 bandgap을 가지는 것을 확인하였다.

Utilization of Syllabic Nuclei Location in Korean Speech Segmentation into Phonemic Units (음절핵의 위치정보를 이용한 우리말의 음소경계 추출)

  • The blind segmentation method, which segments input speech data into recognition unit without any prior knowledge, plays an important role in continuous speech recognition system and corpus generation. As no prior knowledge is required, this method is rather simple to implement, but in general, it suffers from bad performance when compared to the knowledge-based segmentation method. In this paper, we introduce a method to improve the performance of a blind segmentation of Korean continuous speech by postprocessing the segment boundaries obtained from the blind segmentation. In the preprocessing stage, the candidate boundaries are extracted by a clustering technique based on the GLR(generalized likelihood ratio) distance measure. In the postprocessing stage, the final phoneme boundaries are selected from the candidates by utilizing a simple a priori knowledge on the syllabic structure of Korean, i.e., the maximum number of phonemes between any consecutive nuclei is limited. The experimental result was rather promising : the proposed method yields 25% reduction of insertion error rate compared that of the blind segmentation alone.

  • Transient signals in underwater show several characterisrics, that is, short duration, strong nonstationarity, various types of transient sources, which make it difficult to analyze and classify transient signals. In this paper, the feature vector extraction method for transient SOMAR signals is discussed by applying digital signal processing methods to the analysis of transient signals. A feature vector extraction methods using wavelet transform, which enable us to obtain better recognition rate than automatic classification using the classical method, are proposed. It is confirmed by simulation that the proposed method using wavelet transform performs better than the classical method even with smaller number of feature vectors. Especially, the feature vector extraction method using PR-QMF wavelet transform with the Daubechies coefficients is shown to perform well in noisy environment with easy implementation.

  • With the advent of submarine detection technology using low-frequency active sonar there is a call for a new submarine stealth device that can replace the existing passive anechoic tiles. Proposed in this study is a low-frequency echo reduction technique based on active impedance matching, which employs a tile projector designed to cover a wide area such as the surface of a ship. To judge the feasibility of the active impedance matching technique finite-element simulations of low-frequency echo reduction are performed. Based on the analysis, a tile projector is designed, fabricated, and tested in an acoustic tank for its low-frequency echo reduction performance.

Underwater Acoustic Communication of FH-MFSK Method with Multiple Orthogonal Properties (다중 직교 특성을 갖는 FH-MFSK 방식의 수중음향통신)

  • In this paper, we propose an underwater acoustic communication of FH-MFSK(Frequency-Hopped Multiple Frequency Shift Keying) system with multiple orthogonal property. Generally, the processing of FSK(Frequency Shift Keying) method is simple, but it is vulnerable to ISI (Inter-Symbol Interference) caused by multipath transmission. In this paper, the orthogonal codes are generated with the same number of transmitting symbols, and these codes are corresponding to multiple frequencies. We used m-sequence to generate multiple orthogonal codes. We compared the performance of proposed method with conventional MFSK method via the experiment. As a result, we confirmed that the proposed method shows 6~10 % lower error rate at 100 bps than conventional method.

  • Artificial intelligence assistants that provide speech recognition operate through cloud-based voice recognition with high accuracy. In cloud-based speech recognition, Wake-Up-Word (WUW) detection plays an important role in activating devices on standby. In this paper, we compare the performance of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based WUW detection models for mobile devices by using Google's speech commands dataset, using the spectrogram and mel-frequency cepstral coefficient features as inputs. The CNN models used in this paper are multi-layer perceptron, general convolutional neural network, VGG16, VGG19, ResNet50, ResNet101, ResNet152, MobileNet. We also propose network that reduces the model size to 1/25 while maintaining the performance of MobileNet is also proposed.

Basicity Constants (pKBH+) of 5-Substituted 2-Furaldehydes (5-치환 2-Furaldehyde류의 염기도 상수)

  • The protonation equilibrium of 5-substituted 2-furaldehydes is investigated spectrophotometrically in aqueous sulfuric acid at $25^{\circ}C$ and the basicity constants(p$K_{BH+}$) of the substrates is calculated by means of the excess acidity method. The basicity constant of 5-metyl-2-furaldehyde having electron donating group is larger than that of 5- nitro-2-furaldehyde having electron withdrawing group. Difference between the basicity constants(p$K_{BH+}$) of these two compounds was about 3.25 pK unit. The m value which is the degree of solvation of the protonated substrate is similar to that of acetophenone having same protonation site. The dependence of p$K_{BH+}$ on m value shows good linear cor-relation.

  • Diels-Alder adducts, carbacephems were obtained when 4-acetoxyazetidine-2-one or (3R,4R)-4-acetoxy-3-[(1R)-1-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)ethyl]azetidin-2-one was reacted with 2-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-1,3-butadiene or with 3-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-1,3-pentadiene. When tert-butyldiemethylsilyl acrylate was used as the diene, products in which was acetoxy group of 4-acetoxyazetidin-2-one derivatives was substituted by an acryloyloxy group were isolated. When the same reaction was carried out with 4-phenylsulfonylazetidin-2-one as a dienophile with 2-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-1,3-butadiene, 4-phenylsulfoyl-2-butanone was obtained instead of the expected carbacephem. When dimeric form of thiochalcone was reacted with 4-acetoxyazetidin-2-one in the presence of zinc chloride, the $\beta-lactam$ ring of the azetidin-2-one was destructed and no product was isolated. Also, the reaction of 2-trimethylsilyloxy-1-aza-1,3-butadiene, which was obtained from N-methylacrylamide by treatment of trimethylsilyl trifluoromethanesulfonate in the presence of triethylamine, with 4-acetoxyazetidin-2-one did not give any products.

  • The rate constants of hydrolysis of phenyl-N-benzoylchlorothioformimidates were determined by UV spectrophotometry in 30% (v/v) aqueous dioxane at $25^{\circ}C$. On the basis of rate equation, general base catalysis, solvent effect, substituent effect, thermodynamic parameters, frontier orbital interaction and hydrolysis product analysis, it may be concluded that the hydrolysis of phenyl-N-benzoylchlorothioformimidates proceeds through $S_N1$ mechanism via azocarbocation intermidiate below pH 10.0, while above pH 10.00 the hydrolysis proceeds through nucleophilic addition-elimination ($Ad_{N-E}$) mechanism. In the range of pH from 10.0 to 11.0 these two reaction occur competitively.
