공간적 토지피복 예측을 위한 모형에 관한 연구 (A Study on Modeling of Spatial Land-Cover Prediction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 토지자원의 유효한 개발과 관리를 위해 원격탐사 자료 및 지상자료를 이용하여 토지피복(이용)의 예측 모형을 정립하고 실제로 제주도 지역에 적용하여 그 실증을 거치는 것이었다. 본 모형은 계절분석(multi-date processing)및 다중 분석(multi-file proces-sing)기법을 채택하고 Markov의 확률 이전 계산법 및 판별 함수(discriminant function)계산법으로 부터 합성 출현시킨 공간적/시간적 토지 이용 투영방법을 채택하였다. 판별 함수 계산법은 토지피복(이용)변화상의 최다 경향치를 산출 하기 위해 제주도 경관 평면(Iandscape plane)전지역의 각 화소(pixel)에 적용되고, 확율 이전 계산법은 특정 미래 시간 간극상에서 상이한 토지피복(이용)으로 변화하는 이들 화소의 수량을 결정한다. 본합성 모형은 이렇게 토지피복 변화상(공간적)과 그 화소의 수량(정량적)을 결합하여 경관 평면상에서 미래의 토지피복 예측을 가능케 하는 것이다.

철강산업 모기업 협력업체의 산업안전보건 실태조사 (A Survey Study on Occupational Safety and Health Management Activities in Contractor and Supplier Companies of the Steel Industry)

  • This study is aimed to investigate the occupational safety and health management of contractor company in the steel industry. Many companies now only carry out core functions inhouse and ancillary functions have been outsourced. This results in transferring risk to the contractor. The questionnaire survey was conducted on the suppliers and contractors of steel industry. Data were collected from 29 companies and their 240 contractor companies. From the survey result, it was found that the level of safety and health management is above the average. To strengthen the relationship for safety and health management, the supplier should provide more data and design a curriculum to train workers of contractor company. Also it is needed that the supplier company employ the person in exclusive charge to support contractor.

  • Building-integrated photovoltaics(BIPV)are increasingly incorporate into new domestic and industrial buildings as a proncipal or ancillary source of electrical power, and are on of the fastest growing segments of the photovoltaic industry. This paper presents operational features analysis and PCS(Power conversion System) factors of grid-connected 30kW BIPV on library of Dongshin University. The data consisted of insolation, Temperature, solar-cell performance and inverter performance are collected by IVIsion web monitoring system and analyzed. The analyzed data gave this paper effect elements of optimal operation.

고심도 공간의 건축적 특성에 따른 자연집광 시스템의 조명원적 성능분석 (Projecting Performance of a Daylighting Source Based on Its Architectura Applications in the Open-Top Surface Structure)

  • A lightcourt design is typically used to address issues concerning aesthetics, feeling, and mood. From the view point of environmental aspect, as an ecological shaft space, it plays a key role in controlling inner quality. In particularly, the lightcourt concept allows the exploitation of daylighting by bring natural light into the center of the building, thus eliminating dark deep spaces. Additionally, the lightcourt shades the inner space in summer. The amount of light available at the base of the lightcourt depends on a number of factors; translucency of the top, reflectance and the geometry of the space. In this paper is to exemplify a lightcourt configuration with a sloped wall. It promises the maximized a sense of freedom and daylighting availability. It is a matter of course that the lightcourt with open-top plays a role as a light source for the adjacent space to the lightcourt. A series of lighting simulation provides performance data of daylighting with changing photometric factors. For the case that a skylight is not available, an electric lighting design with metal halide lamps has been established to create luminous ceiling. As expected, a sloped lightcourt with open-top exposes its superiority of daylighting source. Ancillary considerations to enhance of daylighting potential for the adjacent space have been issued with performance data.

Frequency and Voltage Control Strategies of the Jeju Island Power System Based on MMC-HVDC Systems

  • At present, one of two LCC-HVDC systems is responsible for controlling the grid frequency of the Jeju Island Power System (JIPS). The grid voltage is regulated by using STATCOMs. However, these two objectives can be achieved in one device that is called by a modular multilevel converter-high voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) system. Therefore, this paper proposes frequency and voltage control strategies for the JIPS based on a MMC-HVDC system. In this case, the ancillary frequency and voltage controllers are implemented into the MMC-HVDC system. The modelling of the JIPS is done based on the parameters and measured data from the real JIPS. The simulation results obtained from the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation program are confirmed by comparing them to measured data from the real JIPS. Then, the effect of the MMC-HVDC system on the JIPS will be tested in many cases of operation when the JIPS operates with and without STATCOMs. The objective is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

3차 종합병원 안과병동의 전화 상담 중 전화문의 내용 및 간호중재에 대한 조사 연구 (Telephone Inquiries to the Ophthalmology Nursing Unit and Nursing Interventions Through Telephone Consultations)

  • Purpose: This study examines the patient problems and nursing interventions during telephone consultations by nurses in an ophthalmology nursing unit. Methods: The data were collected during telephone consultations. A total of 13 nurses consulted 170 patients between September 29 and November 30, 2008 at a tertiary teaching hospital. Problems were raised by the patients and nursing interventions were provided to the patients by the nurses. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data. Results: There were 228 telephone inquiries by 170 patients. The problems were categorized into four groups based on a literature review and validated by 14 nurses: physical symptoms, medications, administrative matters, and follow-up care. Interventions provided by the nurses were categorized into six groups: instructing patients; providing information; providing background knowledge; assuring the patients; referring to the patients to other ancillary departments; and delivering doctor's orders. Conclusions: Nurse interventions for a specific patient problem varied depending on the nurse providing the consultation. The participating nurses expressed the need for a common protocol for telephone consultations. Thus, it would be beneficial to develop a guideline for telephone consultations to minimize practice variations among nurses.

공간해상도에 따른 유역평균 SCS-N값 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Change of Average SCS-CN Value by the Spatial Resolution)

  • 집중형 수문모형의 유출량 산정시 주요 매개변수로 사용되는 평균 SCS-CN값의 산정은 RS와 GIS를 적용하면 쉽게 계산이 가능하나, 입력자료의 선택에 따라 그 값이 다르게 계산된다. 연구지역은 경안천의 한 지류인 목현천으로 수질 및 수량자료의 수급이 용이하여 자료의 검증이 가능하다는 점과 최근에 토지이용과 토지피복의 변화가 상당히 진전되고 있다는 점이다. 본 연구에서는 Landsat 7 ETM+, SPOT 5, 1:25,000 토지이용현황도, 정밀토양도, 개략토양도를 이용하여 2.5m, 30m 공간해상도에서 유역평균 CN을 계산하였으며, 계산결과 해상도에 따른 변화는 없었다. 토지피복에 따라 유역평균 SCS-CN 값의 변화를 나타내었다. 향후 다양한 해상도와 토양도적용에 관한 연구가 추가적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

센서모델링 특성에 따른 KOMPSAT-2 PAN 영상의 정확도 (Geometric Accuracy of KOMPSAT-2 PAN Data According to Sensor Modeling)

  • 본 문서는 일반 사용자들이 다목적실용위성 2호(KOMPSAT-2) 영상을 사용하는데 있어 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하기 위해, 기존의 상용 S/W를 이용하여 영상의 센서모델링을 적용하는 방법에 대해 설명하고자 한다. 센서모델링은 다목적실용위성 2호 자료로부터 정량적, 정성적 정보를 추출하기 위한 가장 기본적인 단계라고 할 수 있다. 우선 다목적실용위성 2호(KOMPSAT-2) 영상자료와 함께 제공되는 보조데이터의 종류와 내용에 대해 살펴보고, 이를 상용 S/W에서 어떻게 사용할 것인가에 대해 설명하였다. 센서모델링에 적용은 Polynomial-base의 센서모델링과 Refine RFM을 적용하였다. Polynomial-base 센서모델링에서, 위성위치는 1차 다항식 형태의 등속직선운동, 위성자세는 X축, Y축, Z축에 대하여 고정값 또는 Y축과 Z축에 대한 1차 다항식 형태가 정확도가 우수한 것으로 나타났다. Refine RFM 모델링을 수행할 때 Affine 모델을 적용할 경우 정확도가 1 pixel 이하로 확보됨을 알 수 있었다.

진료비 고가도 지표의 한계와 개선 방향 (Limitations and Improvement of Using a Costliness Index)

  • Background: The costliness index (CI) is an index that is used in various ways to improve the quality of medical care and the management of appropriate treatment in medical institutions. However, the current calculation method for CI has a limitation in reflecting the actual medical cost of the patient unit because the outpatient and inpatient costs are evaluated separately. It is desirable to calculate the CI by integrating the medical cost into the episode unit. Methods: We developed an episode-based CI method using the episode classification system of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to the National Inpatient Sample data in Korea, which can integrate the admission and ambulatory care cost to episode unit. Additionally, we compared our new method with the previous method. Results: In some episodes, the correlation between previous and episode-based CI was low, and the proportion of outpatient treatment costs in total cost and readmission rates are high. As a result of regression analysis, it is possible that the level of total medical costs of the patient unit in low volume medical institute and rural area has been underestimated. Conclusion: High proportion of outpatient treatment cost in total medical cost means that some medical institutions may have provided medical services in the ambulatory care that are ancillary to inpatient treatment. In addition, a high readmission rate indicates insufficient treatment service for inpatients, which means that previous CI may not accurately reflect actual patient-based treatment costs. Therefore, an integrated patient-unit classification system which can be used as a more effective CI indicator is needed.

Determinants of Inpatients Satisfaction and Intent to Revisit Oriental Medical Hospitals

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the determinants of inpatients satisfaction and intent to revisit oriental medical hospitals. Methods: The independent variables of the study contain the level of satisfaction with doctors, nurses, staffs, medical fee, environment, facilities and hospital life. Each variable was measured by three to eight items about the level of satisfaction with various aspects of hospital ward life. The level of overall patient satisfaction was used as an intervening variable and the level of intent to revisit was used as a dependent variable. The sample used in this study consisted of 268 inpatients from 3 oriental medical hospitals located in Chungnam Province. Data were collected with a structured and self-administrated questionnaire and analysed using path analysis. Results: The major findings of the study were as follows : First, it was found that the 3 variables of hospital life satisfaction, ancillary staffs satisfaction, and metropolitan residents has significant positive effect on the level of overall patient satisfaction. Second, the overall satisfaction and the satisfactory level of facilities, medical fee, and quality of ward life were found to have significant effects on the level of intent to revisit of respondents. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that oriental medical hospitals should make an effort to improve the overall satisfaction of inpatients, especially focusing on the facilities convenience, medical price, and hospital ward life which will lead to high level of intent to revisit of inpatients.
