주요 수산물의 국내 소비시장에서의 일물일가법칙의 성립여부 : 냉동오징어, 냉동갈치, 건멸치를 중심으로 (A Study on the Law of One Price in Major Domestic Fishery Product Markets in South Korea: Evidence from Frozen Squid, Frozen Hair tailand Dried Anchovy)

  • We explore each of the three major domestic fishery product markets in South Korea- Frozen Squid, Frozen Hair tail and Dried Anchovy- to assess whether we can find evidence for Law of One Price (LOP) across the five major cities- Seoul, Dae-Jeon, Dae-Gu, Gwang-Ju and Busan. To achieve our aim, we utilize two different types of unit root tests: Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Kwiatkowski-Phillips-Schmidt-Shin (KPSS) unit root test. In each of the three fishery product markets, we find evidence in support of LOP among several cities, which confirms that these markets are integrated to a certain extent. In particular, we find stronger evidence of LOP for Dried Anchovy market relative to the other two fishery product markets. Based on our findings, we argue that the Dried Anchovy market exhibits a greater degree of market integration across the five major cities in South Korea compared to the other two fishery product markets. The greater degree of market integration in the Dry Anchovy market is facilitated by its higher substitutability across cities; taken together these findings show that the market for Dried Anchovy in South Korea is more efficient than the markets for Frozen Squid and Frozen Hair tail.

멸치 기선권현망어업의 수익성 악화 요인 분석 (Analysis of profitability deterioration factors of anchovy boat seine fishery in South Korea)

  • This study aims to analyze the income structure, cost structure, and profit structure based on data related to the business performance of the boat seine fishery from 1990 to 2020, and to identify the direct and indirect factors affecting fishery profitability through panel regression analysis. The main analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that fish catch has a significant amount of impact on fishery profitability, which is a key factor in improving the profitability of anchovy boat seine fishery. Second, it is necessary to develop carbon-reduced fishing gear, develop fleet-reduced fishing gear, and improve the operating system in order to increase fishery profitability for the short run. Third, it is necessary to create and maintain sustainable profitability for the long run, the continuous fishing vessels buyback program, an active responses to climate change, and the follow-up investigations about marine aggregate extraction in the south sea EEZ are needed.

수산관광축제의 고유성이 방문객 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 기장멸치축제를 중심으로 - (An analysis on Authenticity of Fisheries Festival - The Gijan Anchovy Festival -)

  • Prior research on the fishery village tourism has mainly focused on the development and activities in the field, but lacking in strategic approaches. To overcome such a limitation, this study intends to measure visitors' authenticity on Gijang Anchovy Festival, test reliability and validity of the measurement items, and to identify the relationships among variables by a regression analysis of visitors' satisfaction. Authenticity means the value of existence. The types of tourism in fishing villages have been classified as fishery tourism, resource tourism and ecotourism and each of them has its own authenticity. Based on previous research, this study classified it into three factors such as objective authenticity, experiential authenticity and inauthenticity. To analyze the current situation of Daebyeon Anchovy Festival, measurement scales were developed and survey was conducted on the visitors for the three days from April 20 to 23, 2007. A total of 211 questionnaires were distributed and 208 were collected, The questionnaire contains 25 items on authenticity and 4 items on satisfaction and all the items were measured on the 7 Likert scale. It also has 8 items on demographic characteristics. On the test of reliability and validity of the authenticity, 24 items were used, Cronbach's was 0.7 and correlation was higher than 0.3. Factors of objective authenticity, experiential authenticity and inauthenticity were drawn from the factor analysis, which means that the 24 items may be used to measure authenticity of fishery festivals. The findings show that the evaluation score was 4.89 for objective authenticity, 4.36 for experiential authenticity, and 4.24 for inauthenticity. On the test of the hypotheses, the path coefficients were estimated 0.087 for objective authenticity, 0.202 for experiential authenticity and 0.503 for inauthenticity on the visitors' satisfaction. This suggests some meaningful marketing strategies for Gijang Anchovy Festival. First of all, the anchovy festival should focus on motivating visitors to revisit the festival by identifying individual traits, making a pleasant festival oriented toward family visitors, and providing more experience programs about anchovy.

우리나라 멸치자원량추정을 위한 잉여생산모델과 최대엔트로피모델의 비교분석 (A Comparative Analysis of Surplus Production Models and a Maximum Entropy Model for Estimating the Anchovy's Stock in Korea)

  • For fishery stock assessment and optimum sustainable yield of anchovy in Korea, surplus production(SP) models and a maximum entropy(ME) model are employed in this paper. For determining appropriate models, five traditional SP models-Schaefer model, Schnute model, Walters and Hilborn model, Fox model, and Clarke, Yoshimoto and Pooley (CYP) model- are tested for effort and catch data of anchovy that occupies 7% in the total fisheries landings of Korea. Only CYP model of five SP models fits statistically significant at the 10% level. Estimated intrinsic growth rates are similar in both CYP and ME models, while environmental carrying capacity of the ME model is quite greater than that of the CYP model. In addition, the estimated maximum sustainable yield(MSY), 213,287 tons in the ME model is slightly higher than that of CYP model (198,364 tons). Biomass for MSY in the ME model, however, is calculated 651,000 tons which is considerably greater than that of the CYP model (322,881 tons). It is meaningful in that two models are compared for noting some implications about any significant difference of stock assessment and their potential strength and weakness.

건조수산물의 중금속 및 셀레늄 함량 (A Study on Heavy Metal and Selenium Levels in Dried Seafoods)

  • 경기도에서 유통되고 있는 건조수산물 95건에 대하여 유해중금속인 납, 카드뮴, 수은 및 미량영양소인 셀레늄 함량을 조사하였다. 금아말감법의 수은분석기, 유도결합플라즈마 질량분석기를 사용하여 측정하였으며, 각 항목별 평균함량은 납 0.062±0.071(0.002-0.428) mg/kg[평균값±표준편차(최소값-최대값) mg/kg], 카드뮴 0.083±0.100(0.004-0.540) mg/kg, 수은 0.012±0.012(N.D-0.054) mg/kg, 셀레늄 0.839±0.371(0.362-2.124) mg/kg으로 나타났으며, 유해중금속인 납, 카드뮴, 수은 모두 기준규격 이하로 나타났다. 멸치 크기에 따른 중금속 및 셀레늄 함량은 수은이 대멸치에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났으며(P<0.05), 셀레늄은 잔멸치와 대멸치의 크기에 따른 유의적인 함량 차이를 나타냈다(P<0.05). 새우 종류에 따른 중금속 및 셀레늄 함량을 비교한 결과 보리새우가 납, 카드뮴, 수은에서 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(P<0.05). 대멸치, 밴댕이의 부위별 중금속 및 셀레늄 함량은 내장부위가 가장 높았고, 새우는 머리부위가 중금속 및 셀레늄 함량이 높게 나타났다. 건조수산물을 통해 섭취하는 수은, 카드뮴의 주간 및 월간섭취량은 JECFA에서 설정한 PTW(M)I의 0.712%와 2.978%로 조사된 건조수산물 내 중금속 함량은 안전한 농도수준으로 판단된다.

공적분 검정을 이용한 기후변화의 멸치 생산량에 대한 영향 분석 (Analyzing the Relationship between Climate Change and Anchovy Catch using a Cointegration Test)

  • This study aimed to analyze the relationship between sea temperatures and anchovy catch of Anchovy drag net fishery using annual time series data from 1970 to 2013. In the analysis, time series data on variables (CPUE, sea surface temperature, and 10m temperature) were estimated to be non-stationary from unit root tests, but one long-term equilibrium relation among variables was found from a cointegration test. From an exclusion test, a 10m temperature would not have relations with CPUE and sea surface temperature. The result of regression analysis on sea surface temperature and anchovy catch indicated that the sea surface temperature would have positive impacts on the anchovy catch. It means that when the sea surface temperature would increase, all other things including the current level of fishing effort being equal, the catch of anchovy was predicted to increase. More specifically, the result showed that when 1% of sea surface temperature increases, CPUE would be increased by 2.81%.

강원 연안 멸치의 분포 특성에 관하여 (Distribution of Anchovy , Engraulis Japonica ( Houttuyn ) , in the Coastal Waters of Kangwon Province in Korea)

  • Distribution of Anchovy was analyzed from the experimental operations by the small anchovy drag net fishery in the coastal area of Yang yang - gun and Myongju - gun of Kangwon Province from October to December, 1994. Temperature ranged from $11.4^{\circ}C.$to $17.4^{\circ}C.$throughout the experimental period. Fishes caught by experimental operation vessels were composed of anchovy, Clupanodon Punctatus, Pleuronectidae, Tetraodantidae, Acanthopagrus Schlegeli etc., and the anchovy occupied more than 99.6% of the total catch. Anchovy was characterized by the most abundance of the catch for the individual less than 6cm and the gradual increase after October for those larger than 6cm. CPUE(catch per tow) of anchovy was 684kg in October, 784kg in November, 1,590kg in December and mean CPUE of 3 months from October to December was 1,066kg. Fishing grounds of anchovy were formed in coastal area, from $37^{\circ}$45'N to $38^{\circ}$04'N, off Kangwon Province. Distribution density of anchovy in Chumunjin - up, Kyohang - ri Sachon - myon, and Sachonjin - ri coasts was higher than the other areas. Anchovy caught in this surveyed area was recruited from July to September at the length class between 2cm and 3cm, and grew to the sizes between 4cm and Bem in October, between 5cm and tcm in November, between tcm and Bem in December. Recruitment of anchovy increased from July to September and suddenly decreased after September. Individual number of the population was the largest during the period from August to October and gradually decreased after October. Biomass continuously increased after August, and was the largest in December.

우리나라 멸치의 기록에 관한 연구 (A Historical Literature Review on the Records of Korean Anchovies)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 국민들의 음식문화에서 대표적인 반찬이자 영양소의 보고인 멸치에 관한 역사적 문헌 고찰에 관한 것이다. 멸치에 관한 문헌은 1803년에 우리나라 최초의 어보(魚譜)라고 말할 수 있는 담증이 쓴 우해이어보이다. 그 후 정약전이 1814년에 쓴 현산어보(자산어보)와 1820년경에 서유구가 쓴 난호어목지의 어명고에도 멸치가 소개되고 있다. 멸치가 우리나라에서 식용으로 이용된 것은 조선시대 훨씬 이전부터였으나, 그 당시에는 그물 등 어구가 충분히 발달하지 못하였고, 가공기술도 미처 발전하지 못하여 충분한 어획고를 올리지 못하여 사람들에게 주목받지 못하였다. 그 후 일제강점기에 일본 식민지 시대 멸치를 이용한 농업의 비료화 또는 식자재로 그 가공기술이 급진전 되었다. 지금의 멸치산업은 우리나라 수산업 중 매우 중요한 위치에 있으며, 그 중에서도 오백년 넘게 이어온 죽방렴을 이용한 죽방멸치는 큰 고부가가치를 창출할 뿐 아니라 문화유산으로서의 가치도 중요하다. 이에 멸치에 관한 역사적 연구는 산업적 관점에서 어족자원에 관한 연구로서 뿐만 아니라, 죽방렴의 세계문화유산과 국제식량기구의 세계중요농업유산의 등재를 위해서 매우 귀중한 자료로서 활용될 수 있다.

멸치 자망 어획양의 분포와 해황 (The Distribution of Catch of Anchovy by the Gill Net Fishery and Oceanographic Condition)

  • 한국 근해에서 최근 14개년간(1969-1982)의 멸치 자망에 의한 어획통계자료로부터 어장의 평균 분포와 해황과의 관계를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 멸치의 중요어장은 어획이 있었던 전 어장면적의 $20\%$에 지나지에 지나지 않은 속초, 구룡포, 기장, 거제도, 및 충무의 인접한 5개 해구에 집중되어 있고, 연평균어획양의 약 $80\%$가 여기서 어획된다. 이 어장에서의 어획양 변동계수는 $0.3{\sim}0.6$으로서 작고, 평균 CPUE가 81.2 kg/set로 비교적 크다. 멸치 자망의 주어기는 일년 중 어획양이 극대치를 나타내는 $4{\sim}6$월의 춘계어기와 $10{\sim}11$월의 추계어기였다. 어장중심은 $37^{\circ}N$ 이북 해역에서는 주문진 동방 약10마일 역이며, $35^{\circ}-37^{\circ}N$ 해역에서는 기장 동방 약 25마일 역에 위치하고, $35^{\circ}N$ 이남 해역에서는 충무 남방 약 35마일 역이다. 일년중 어획양의 변동은 2월에 최소이고 5월에 최대인데, 이것은 냉수역 한계수온으로 생각되는 $10^{\circ}C$등온선과 관계가 깊었으며, $34.0{\sim}34.4\%0$ 등염선역이 주어장이 형성되는 곳이었으나 명확한 관계는 알수 없었다.

우리나라 기선권현망 멸치어업의 유류비 변동 영향분석 (Impact Analysis for Changes in Oil Cost of Anchovy Boat Seine Fishery in South Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 기선권현망 멸치어업의 유류비 변동에 대한 영향을 분석하는 데 있다. 연구의 분석 방법으로, 우선 최대지속적어획량(MSY)을 추정하기 위하여 지수잉여 생산모형을 이용한다. 다음으로, 자유어업하에서의 유류비 변동에 대한 기선권현망어업의 생산자 잉여를 추정하기 위하여 생물경제모형을 적용한다. 본 연구의 분석 결과, 면세유 미지급으로 인한 유류비 상승은 기선권현망어업의 멸치 공급에 대한 생산자 잉여에 부정적 영향을 초래하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 기선권현망 멸치어업의 유류비 상승이 경영 상태가 좋지 못한 어업인의 퇴출을 유도함으로써 상기 어업의 어획노력량을 최대지속적어획량 수준의 어획노력량($F_{MSY}$) 이하로 감소시켜 멸치 자원의 회복과 더불어 잔존 어업자의 생산자 잉여를 개선시키는 효과를 유인하는 것으로 나타났다.
