동작분석 시스템을 이용한 골프 스윙 분석 기초 알고리즘 개발 (The Development of A Basic Golf Swing Analysis Algorithm using a Motion Analysis System)

  • Three-dimensional(3D) motion analysis is a useful tool for analyzing sports performance. During the last few decades, advances in motion analysis equipment have enabled us to perform more and more complicated biomechanical analyses. Nevertheless, considering the complexity of biomechanical models and the amount of data recorded from the motion analysis system, subsequent processing of these data is required for event-specific motion analysis. The purpose of this study was to develop a basic golf swing analysis algorithm using a state-of-the-art VICON motion analysis system. The algorithm was developed to facilitate golf swing analysis, with special emphasis on 3D motion analysis and high-speed motion capture, which are not easily available from typical video camera systems. Furthermore, the developed algorithm generates golf swing-specific kinematic and kinetic variables that can easily be used by golfers and coaches who do not have advanced biomechanical knowledge. We provide a basic algorithm to convert massive and complicated VICON data to common golf swing-related variables. Future development is necessary for more practical and efficient golf swing analysis.

  • This work investigated experiment education in mechanical engineering of universities in USA. Through the investigation, characteristics of each university were analyzed. Finally, the study suggested new contents of experiment education, full-time professors and staffs for experiment, cooperation with design and experiment education, and incentive for the development of experiment education.

How to Develop a Scale Measuring an Affective Construct in Mathematics Education Research

  • It is central to use a scale to measure a person's level of a construct in mathematics education research. This article explains a practical process through which a researcher rapidly can develop an instrument to measure the construct. The process includes research questioning, reviewing the literature, framing a background theory, treating the data, and reviewing the instrument. The statistical treatment of data includes normality analysis, item-total correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and factor analysis. A virtual example is given for better understanding of the process.

  • Computer technology in mathematics teaching-learning is not for teaching computer but for improving mathematics teaching-learning with computer. It is shown the use of computer technology comparing with traditional approach provides students more opportunities in order to approach abstract structure. Computer activity provides not only understanding concepts of analysis and opportunity to investigate theory but also effective background in teaching analysis. We analyze students' computer usage level on analysis education by using computer usage level according to role of computer technology. We try to get an useful educational implication on analysis education applying MATLAB through qualitative research.

환경분야 직업교육훈련과정 개발을 위한 직무분석 기초 연구 (A Study on Job Analysis for the Development of Vocational Education & Training Curriculum for the Environmental field)

  • 이 연구는 1998년부터 수행된 직업교육훈련 프로그램 개발을 위한 직무분석 기초 연구로서 교육 훈련 자격 분야에서 활용도를 높일 수 있도록 2002년도에 개발된 직무분석 지침서를 보완하고, 2003년에 이 연구와 함께 수행된 $\ulcorner$직업 변동에 관한 연구(III)$\lrcorner$에서 추출된 환경 산업 관련 직업 중에서 직업교육훈련과정 및 출제 기준을 개발하기 위해 선행적으로 요구되는 10개 직업을 선정하고, 직무분석을 실시하여 이들에 대한 교육 과정, 훈련 기준, 자격 검정의 출제 기준을 개발할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제작 보급하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 내용은 첫째, 직무분석 관련 선행 내용을 분석하고, 둘째, 직무분석 지침서를 보완하며, 셋째, 직무분석 대상 직업을 선정한 후, 넷째, 직업교육훈련과정 및 출제 기준을 개발하기 위한 직무분석을 실시하고, 그 결과를 제공하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구 방법으로는 직무분석 관련 선행 연구 및 자료 분석, 직무분석 보완 및 대상 직업 선정과 직업별 직무분석을 위한 전문가 협의회, 데이컴법(DACUM process)을 이용한 직무분석 등을 실시하였다. 이 연구는 우선 직업교육훈련과정의 개발을 위한 직무분석의 모형을 절차별로 정리 제시하였는데, 1단계는 직무분석 준비, 2단계는 직무모형 설정, 3단계는 지식, 기능, 도구 추출, 4단계는 선수 코스 및 교과목 선정, 5단계는 교육 훈련 내용 상세화, 6단계는 출제 기준 설정 등으로 구성되어 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 절차에 따라 10개 직업에 대한 직업별 직무분석이 진행되었다.

의공학 캡스톤디자인 수업에서의 젠더분석 방법 적용사례 (A Case Study on the Application of Gender Analysis Methods to Biomedical Engineering Capstone Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop capstone design model of gender analysis methods suitable for engineering education field and examine improvements and effects by applying it to actual lessons for biomedical engineering students. Case study was performed to achieve the purpose of the study. Twelve gender analysis methods were applied to 'biomedical engineering capstone design' which was major course offered by department of biomedical engineering at J university. After the students understood how to analyze gender analysis methods and cases, they decided project topics and presented what gender analysis methods were applied for each project. Additionally, the results of analysis showed that the students were more able to understand the differences between men and women of all ages and try to narrow down the differences. They also found that they could contribute to development of new added value of knowledge and technology that reflected the needs of both men and women by applying gender analysis methods in system development.

환경교과서의 당위적 표현 분석을 통한 환경 가치 교육 방안에 대한 고찰 (A Study on Ways to Environmental Values Education from Appropriateness Expression Analysis of Sentences on Environmental Education Textbooks)

  • In this study, we discuss ways to environmental values education from sentences on environmental education textbooks. Values education is very important territory in environmental education. But school environmental education has some different idea about how to teach that. One way is to teach directly. The other way is to teach in a roundabout way. These days many researches said that roundabout way is better. The purpose of this study is to find out good ways to values education in environmental education. So we analyzed sentences on four environmental education textbooks of middle school. The analysis is limited body of textbooks. And we found immediate appropriateness expression for values education. The study results are as follows. There are 420 immediate expression in textbooks. That is 11% of whole expressions. And 6 big Units of textbooks have not difference about that expression. Most last sentences of class are immediate expressions. So authors of textbook will have mind about good values education method. One method is to use many interrogative sentences. Interrogative sentences help that student have values of themselves.

대학생들의 교양강좌에 대한 인식조사 : 소비자교육 교양강좌 개설을 위한 기초연구 (University Students's Perception about General Studies)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a meaningful thought to professionals and administrators of Korea working for Consumer General Education development at their Universities. Also, tips for organizing and meaning Consumer General Education Curriculum effectively are provided. Finally, the study suggests essential elements to improve qualities of Consumer General Education in Korea Universities. This study's method are content analysis through web site and survey. The subjects of this survey were 257 students. The data were collected by qusetionaires developed by researcher and analyzed by frequencies, correlation Analysis, One Way Anova, Duncan Test, Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: University students's satisfaction level about General Education was low and the needs level about Consumer General Education was high. And the education service quality showed factors to be administrative service element, professor service element, classroom environment element, communication element. And Multiple Regression Analysis on each of the education service quality factors had been significant effects for find out the differences in the degree of satisfaction.

가상세계에서의 건강증진교육의 개념분석 (Health Promotion Education In A Virtual World: A Concept Analysis)

  • Purpose: Virtual worlds are emerging in health care as an innovative way of helping clients take responsibility for and promote their own care. Yet, the concept of health promotion education in this environment has not been elucidated. Therefore, we undertook a concept analysis to discover the underlying attributes and contextual basis to generate a conceptual understanding of virtual worlds in the context of health promotion education. Methods: Using Rodgers' evolutionary view of concept development, we analyzed literature on virtual worlds that describe their use to discover critical attributes, antecedents, and consequences of this phenomenon. Eleven studies matching inclusion criteria were reviewed. Results: Analysis of the literature highlighted three areas of important domains: user, simulated environment, and education. This concept analysis extends our understanding of a virtual world for health promotion education. Conclusion: This study may help anticipate future trends in the use of virtual worlds in the context of health promotion education, serving as a stepping-stone for further research on this aspect of the study. The next step should focus on the development of an evaluation tool that can measure the factors identified in this analysis to determine their effects on outcomes and environmental interactions.

과학 실험 수업 분석 도구 개발 (The Development of Analysis Instrument on Science Laboratory Instruction)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for analysing elementary secondary school, and university science laboratory instructions. The categories of this analysis instrument were instituted through literature overviews and interactions with three researchers in a science classroom analyst team, a doctoral student, and eight master level students, who participated in the process of modification of the analysis instruments on the science laboratory instructions. The contents areas were divided into three categories: aims of laboratory activities, interactions, and scientific inquiry processes. Each category contains $2\~3$ items. So the instrument consisted of 20 subcategories. The validity of the this instrument was achieved through checking with 4 science education specialists.
