플래퍼 패션의 미의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Aesthetic Sense of Flapper Fashion)

  • As modern society advances, women's self-consciousness and attitudes toward beautiful appearances have changed. Amid this trend, the young and slim body of adolescent girls expressed in contemporary fashion incites fantasy on continuing youth among women. In modern society, women's youth is frequently regarded as a subject of consumption and a sex product in the mass media. In this regard, the study is focused on examining desire and psychology of worshipping women's youth and beauty in connection with flapper fashion in the 1920s. In the process, the study took a look at the social and cultural background of flapper fashion and conducted an analysis on formative characteristics and aesthetic sense of flapper fashion as follows: First, the formative characteristics include a short skirt that expresses straight lined shape and the beauty of exposure, lighter clothing, thick make-up, short hair style and black or vivid colors, and they lead to exceptional and innovative aesthetic sense in flapper fashion. Flapper fashion style is focused on completely denying outdated fashion worn by women in the age right before. Second, pursuit of mature, graceful and classical beauty that had continued in previous ages has gone through complete changes in the flapper era in the name of pursuit of youth, and the flapper fashion expresses sensual image through the exposure of slim arms and legs of a young girl. In the formative characteristics, aesthetic sense of youth and sensuality inherent in the flapper fashion was generated. Third, women's free-spirited lifestyle at that time and 'aesthetic sense of freedom and amusement that reflected the speed of machine civilization could be found in the flapper fashion. Material and decoration of the flapper fashion pertained to clothing that enabled a free expression through rapid movements. Aesthetic sense of the flapper fashion generated in the process could be defined as women's internal determination to express individual and free-spirited ideas through the use of fashion when tradition and order of the old age were torn down. And this aesthetic sense is continuously affecting modern fashion design.

  • This study considers expression types and aesthetic characteristics by analyzing Animal sculptures by Billie Achilleos in art collaboration with Louis Vuitton. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, As for expressin type shown in the art collaboration, it is reflected the historical and cultural value peculiar to a country symbolized through animals. As the aesthetic characteristics of symbolism, it reflects historical identity of country by using an image of a symbolic animal representing a state. Second, as the type shown in physical characteristics of animals by utilizing items in Louis Vuitton directly, it is organically expressed a literal type by directly integrating a form having been designed as a commodity itself into the characteristically physical part of an animal. As the aesthetic characteristics according to this is naturality, the motive of the work having borrowed shapes of diverse animals or insects can be said to have been naturally reflected in the primitive natural beauty. Third, through the deconstruction and recombination of a Louis Vuitton item. the amusement of the aesthetic characteristics was expressed in a type having the structurally embodied dynamic movement of an animal, and is expressing visual fun. Fourth, it uses expression type emphasized a specific part of an animal by decorating accessories in Louis Vuitton partly. The aesthetic characteristics is Ornament, the value of craft decoration is being shown by using colorful visual effects by using materials with the colorful textures and patterns of fabrics or mixing embroidery or beads, and belt decoration.

조경계획.설계 기술용역의 수행실태에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Practices of Landscape Planning & Design Services in Korea)

  • This study is designed to analyze the trends of professional services in Landscape Architecture during the past 5 years(1987-1991) in Korea. The data were collected from 1,117 projects from 56 engineering and landscape architecture firms. The findings are summarized as follows: 1) The projects have been increased annually by 19 percent in numbers and by 47 percent in money terms. 2) The main sources of projects are local governments and corporations. However the private sector comprise 31 percent in projects number and 46 percent in money terms. 3) The public park and tourism site development comprise a half of the projects. Recently recreational forest, golf, amusement and large housing site development have increased very rapidly. 4) In terms of workscope they are devided by 'complex' project which include extensive engineering works and 'simple' project which contain mostly planting design. The former include receational project with average 5 or 6 months contract period, and the later include housing and building site design with 2 or 3 months period. 5) Two types of consulting firms are typical. One is comprehensive engineering firms with urban planning section and few landscape section. The other is specialized professional firms with urban planning or landscape architecture. 50 percent of the project was done by comhensive engineering firms and 60 percent was done by urban planning section. The implication of these findings are broad: Firstly, We have to meet the demands in private secter mostly in recreation and leisure related projects. Secondly, landscape architects and project managers need more professional skills and coordination ability to deal with 'complex' projects. Thirdly, to enhance the quality of professional services it is required to have enough work time and higher service fee through legal and institutional enforcements.

  • 본 연구는 옥외간판의 시각적 요소가 소비자의 가치판단에 미치는 요인과 영향에 대한 문제를 고찰하였다. 연구방법은 1차 실증 조사에서 부산 4개 지역 유흥업소의 간판을 촬영, 조사, 분석하였다. 2차 설문조사에서는 분석한 자료를 근거로 지역별ㆍ업소별ㆍ상중하별로 분류 빈도 측정치에 근거 가치판단에 사용할 간판 15개를 선정하였다. 3차 가치항목(A-G)에 대한 설문을 조사하여 소비자 가치를 분석하였다. 4차 소비자 가치와 실제 업소의 가치를 비교 분석하여 결론을 알아보는 방법으로 진행하였다. 연구결과, 간판의 시각요소들이 소비자에게 파급되는 효과는 단순한 정보 제공이 아닌 업소부가가치의 중요한 요소의 근거가 됨을 알 수 있었다.

주제공원의 동선 개선 제안 - 여수 엑스포 해양공원을 대상으로 - (The Improvement of Circulation System in Theme Park - Focused on the EXPO Ocean Park in Yeosu -)

  • The EXPO Ocean Park in Yeosu has taken on the apsect of a theme park and has specialized facilities. But the outdoor circulation system that has been used by Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea still remained. These conditions can occur unused circulation and a long walk between facilities. The Purpose of this study is to suggest the improvement of circulation system that uses walking and outdoor space at the Expo Ocean Park in Yeosu. The following researches are drawn based upon the purpose. First, Definition and existing academic literature of theme park is considered. Second, the type, utilization condition, and circulation of outdoor facilities of Expo Ocean Park are investigated through the field survey and analysis. The field survey is conducted on the Expo Ocean Park in Yeosu for five times from October. 2013 to March. 2014. The data is collected through the photographed outdoor park and interviewing the staff of 2012 Yeosu World Expo Foundation. Third, the case study on outdoor circulation of waterside park and park with amusement facilities that are similar to Expo Ocean Park are examined. The result of this study is expected to seek sustainable management of Expo Ocean Park for maximizing local resident and visitors' satisfaction and improving effective park image. Since the field survey was conducted before the park is reopened and The Expo Ocean Park is on the improve through the this study at present, the verification of improvement scheme based on Post-Occupancy Evaluation(POE) is needed for future study.

사례 분석을 통한 생태 놀이터의 계획 특성 연구 (A Study on the Planning Properties of Ecological Playground through Case Studies)

  • The playgrounds installed in the city try a variety of changes in play equipment more than traditional playgrounds, these playgrounds with formal rides are still different from nature friendly playground. For this reason, when in 2014 the department of environment pushed forward 'Aitteulag' project constructing ecological playground, the department aimed to provide the natural ecological spaces that are insufficient in the city and act as play space for children, leisure and community space for residents. Therefore, after inspecting 10 ecological playgrounds in Europe and Japan, in this study we suggested the construction guidelines of ideal ecological playground by comparing and analyzing these cases. We checked the environment-friendliness of these playgrounds in the 2 fields (playground component, ecological program) based on the ecological playground guidelines presented by the ministry of environment. The playground components are classified as siting location, spatial configurations, natural elements, play area, amusement facilities, play materials, open spaces, additional facilities. The ecological programs are divided into habitat, species, natural material, five senses. The following is the summary of the results about the reflection of eco-friendly planning factors. In terms of "habitat": bush and shade wood were highest at 95%. In terms of "species": local indigene(100%) and habitat for insects(95%) were higher than others. In terms of "natural material": wood(61.1%) was the highest. In terms of "details of wood(61.1%)": wood fence (95%), exploring wood and using sticks(85%) were higher than others. In terms of "five senses": hearing (32.1%), tactile(26.4%), and visual(23.9%) were in order. Therefore, on the basis of these results, this study proposed the planning factors that should be considered and complemented more in the construction of domestic urban ecological playground in future.

강북 대형공원 기본계획 (Landscape Design Proposal for Gangbuk Large Park)

  • 드림랜드 부지는 산으로 둘러싸인 강북지 역의 유일한 평지화 된 놀이공원이었으나, 현재는 시설 노후화와 방치로 인해 지역 거점공원으로서의 기능이 상실되었다. 부지 주변은 기존의 밀집주거와 새로 조성될 뉴타운 등이 혼재할 것이며, 특히 지역 여건상 강북지역의 도시환경 개선을 위한 대형공원이 필요하다는 측면에서 강북 대형공원 조성사업이 대두되었다. 본 연구는 강북 대형공원 조성사업 국제 현상공모에서 우수작으로 선정된 작품의 설계전략과 내용을 서술하고자 한다. 계획안의 주안점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산지형 공원의 새로운 가능성을 찾고자 하였다. 지극히 일상적인 생활공간으로서 산책과 등산, 체력단련시설 등 제한적으로 이용되는 산지형 공원을 선조들이 산을 즐겼던 그 정취를 재현해 보고자 하였다. 둘째, 사회성 강한 자립공원을 만들고자 하였다. 도시 속에 섬으로 존재하는 녹색 숲으로서의 공원이 아닌 자체적인 변화의 에너지를 발산하면서 도시와 적극적으로 소통할 수 있는 공원이 되도록 하였다. 셋째, 다랑이 논은 자연과 더불어 사는 우리의 삶의 방식과 이념을 표현한 실체적 공간이었으며, 우리의 대표적인 향토적 경관이기도 하다. 이런 다랑이 논은 세 개의 낮은 산으로 둘러싸인 대상지를 아우를 수 있는 디자인 모티브였으며, 산에서부터 자연스럽게 흘러내리는 정겨운 풍경은 도시속의 명소로서 사람들의 이야기를 담아낼 수 있도록 계획하였다.

사용자 관점에서 본 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 특성에 관한 연구 (Exploring User Perceived Usability Characteristics of Applications on Smart Phones: A Grounded Theory Analysis of User Reviews)

  • 스마트폰의 본격적인 보급은 이후 관련 산업 전반에 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 휴대폰 시장은 물론 스마트폰 애플리케이션 시장 역시 급격하게 성장하며 애플리케이션을 개발하는 소규모 개발사들 간의 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 그러나 경쟁의 심화와 높은 시장진입 비용으로 인해 애플리케이션 개발사들은 사용자 관점에서의 접근을 바탕으로 한 애플리케이션 자체의 품질제고가 필요하다는 주장을 제기하고 있다. 그러나 스마트폰 애플리케이션 사용자 관점에 대한 연구는 아직 초기단계로 다양한 접근에서 이루어지지 못한 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 근거이론의 개방형 코딩방법에 따라 국내 포털사이트의 관련 커뮤니티와 블로그를 대상으로 애플리케이션에 대한 리뷰 데이터 수집을 진행하여 사용자들이 애플리케이션 사용시 중요하게 고려하는 지표들을 도출하였다. 아울러 각 지표들이 노출되는 빈도를 계산하여 지표간의 비교분석을 하였다. 연구결과 사용자들은 애플리케이션 사용시 유희성과 통제가능성, 다양성, 사용용이성 등 총 30개의 하위범주에 속하는 지표들을 중요하게 생각하고 있었으며 하위범주들은 5개의 상위 범주로 분류되었다. 상위범주는 감성, 디자인, 기술, 가격, 사회성의 다섯가지로 구성된다. 본 연구의 결과는 애플리케이션 개발사들에게 사용자 니즈를 바탕으로 개발을 할 수 있는 디자인과 개발의 가이드라인을 제시하고 있으며 추후 심화 연구를 통하여 실제 애플리케이션들의 사용성 평가 도구 개발의 근거로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

기부캠페인 활성화 방안에 대한 연구 -유형별 사례분석을 중심으로 (A Study on the Effective Ways of Charity Campaigns - focused on a Classification of Charity Case Studies)

  • 기부문화가 활성화되지 못한 한국에서 기부는 아직도 대부분의 사람들에게 경제적인 여유나 시간적인 여유를 가진 사람들의 몫이라는 선입견이 팽배하다. 게다가 몇몇 기부단체들의 비리로 인해 기부금의 쓰임새에 대한 불신 또한 많은 사람들이 기부를 주저하게 하는 이유가 되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 기부에 대한 불신과 잘못된 시각에 대한 인식개선과 함께 사람들이 행동의 변화로 기부에 동참할 수 있도록 유도하는 기부 캠페인의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 다양한 기부 캠페인 성공사례를 유형별로 분류하여 살펴보고 각 유형별 특징을 토대로 기부문화 확산과 정착을 위한 기부 캠페인의 제작방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 사람들의 호기심을 자극하고 재미와 즐거움이 제공되었을 때 공감하고 기부로 이어지는 효과가 좋았다. 또한 기부과정이나 결과를 투명하게 보여 주는 것이 신뢰를 형성하고 지속성 있는 기부로 이어짐을 알 수 있었다.

Fail-safe를 적용한 다수 AVP 차량 및 아키텍처 설계 (Design for System Architecture of Multiple AVPs with Fail-safe based on Dynamic Network)

  • This paper introduces an AVP (Automated Valet Parking) system which applies an autonomous driving concept into the current PAS (Parking Assistant System). The present commercial PAS technology is limited into vehicle. It means vehicle only senses and controls by and for itself to assist the parking. Therefore, the present PAS is restricted to simple parking events. But AVP includes wider parking events and planning because it uses infra-sensor network as well as vehicle sensor. For the realization of AVP, the commercial steering system of a compact vehicle was modified into steer-by-wire structure and various sensors like LRF (Long Range Finder) and camera were installed in a parking area. And local & global server decides where and when the vehicle can go and park in the testing area after recognized the status of environment and vehicle from those sensors. GPS solution was used to validate the AVP performance. More various parking situations, vehicles and obstacles will be considered in the next research stages based on these results. And we expect this AVP solution with more intelligent vehicles can be applied in a big parking lot like a market, an amusement park, etc.
