Purpose of this thesis is to find out the relationship among the amount of change and the visual cognition, and the visual preference which people like and can feel. Through the investigation of relationships between the amount of change, which indicates the degree of visual variation and the visual preference, the amount of change and the visual cognition, and the visual preference and the visual cognition, basic design data will be supplied, which can satisfy users' desire as much as possible in the most economic way. In order to investigate the relationship between the visually produced the amount of change and preferences, graphic simulation, in which variables other than the visual change are controlled, has been proceeded. Graphic factors of the visual change in the cyber exterior space are determined on the point of location (base plane, vertical plane, overhead plane), shape, size and color. As for the relationship between the amount of change and the preference, only the size is effective. since preferences on the location, shape and color are individual preferences, no common trend can be found. Therefore, we cannot say that which shape or color is better, Since the location, shape and color are qualitative change and the size is the quantitative change, the size can be the measurable change quantity. The relationship between the amount of change of size and the degree of preference is found to be inverse U-shape, i.e., as the amount of change of size increases the degree of preference first increases and, after a certain level, decreases. The same result has been obtained in photo simulation.

This study is analyze future climate and land cover change affects behaviors for amount of streamflow and sediment discharge within basin. We used the climate forecast data in RCP 4.5 and 8.5 (2011-2100) which is opposite view for each other among RCP scenarios that are discussed for 5th report for IPCC. Land cover map built based on a social economic storyline in RCP 4.5/8.5 using Logistic Regression model. In this study we set three scenarios: one scenario for climate change only, one for land cover change only, one for Last both climate change and land cover change. It simulated amount of streamflow and sediment discharge and the result showed a very definite change in the seasonal variation both of them. For climate change, spring and winter increased the amount of streamflow while summer and fall decreased them. Sediment showed the same pattern of change steamflow. Land cover change increases the amount of streamflow while it decreases the amount of sediment discharge, which is believed to be caused by increase of impervious Surface due to urbanization. Although land cover change less affects the amount of streamflow than climate change, it may maximize problems related to the amount of streamflow caused by climate change. Therefore, it's required to address potential influence from climate change for effective water resource management and prepare suitable measurement for water resource.
In this paper, we examine the multiple change-point and change pattern in the 54 years (1954-2007) time series of the annual and the heavy precipitation characteristics (amount, days and intensity) averaged over South Korea. A Bayesian approach is used for detecting of mean and/or variance changes in a sequence of independent univariate normal observations. Using non-informative priors for the parameters, the Bayesian model selection is performed by the posterior probability through the intrinsic Bayes factor of Berger and Pericchi (1996). To investigate the significance of the changes in the precipitation characteristics between before and after the change-point, the posterior probability and 90% highest posterior density credible intervals are examined. The results showed that no significant changes have occurred in the annual precipitation characteristics (amount, days and intensity) and the heavy precipitation intensity. On the other hand, a statistically significant single change has occurred around 1996 or 1997 in the heavy precipitation days and amount. The heavy precipitation amount and days have increased after the change-point but no changes in the variances.
In this study, an investigation has been carried out to understand 1) temporal variation of rainfall amount in summer over south Korea during the 30-year period of 1979-2008 and 2) the relationship between the variation of rainfall amount and the change of large-scale monsoon circulation around 1993/1994 over East Asia. The analysis of rainfall amount is carried out separately for whole summer (June-August), climatological Changma period of 23 June-23 July, and August to consider variations within summer. To relate the variation of rainfall amount with the change of large-scale circulation, we have considered two 15-year periods of 1979-1993 and 1994-2008. This study has used observations at 58 stations in South Korea and NCEP-NCAR $2.5^{\circ}{\times}2.5^{\circ}$ reanalysis data. The major change in synoptic environment for the Changma period is characterized by the intensified anticyclone over Mongolia during 1994-2008, which results in a weak meridional oscillation of Changma front. As a result, rainfall amount for the Changma period and the frequency of extreme events have significantly increased after 1993/1994. A major change of synoptic environment for August is the significant westward extension of the western Pacific subtropical high, which allows not only more moisture transports but also stronger cyclonic circulation over the Korean peninsula. Rainfall amount for August and frequency of extreme events have also increased after 1993/1994. However, variability of rainfall amount is larger for August than that for the Changma period, with some years showing very dry August (monthly rainfall amount less than 150 mm).

Introduction: In the management of dentofacial deformities, variable movement of the maxilla can be made possible by a Le Fort I osteotomy. Posterior impaction of the maxilla necessary for rotation of the maxillomandibular complex enhances the functions and esthetic results. In cases of posterior impaction of the maxilla, an increase in the figure of the occlusal plane angle and incisor inclination can occur. This study reports the relationship between the amount of posterior impaction and the change in the occlusal plane angle and incisor inclination in a Le Fort I osteotomy by preoperative and postoperative lateral cephalograms. Materials and Methods: Twenty patients who had undergone orthognathic surgery in Dong-A University Medical Center participated in this study. Lateral cephalometrics, within 3 weeks prior to surgery and 3 days after surgery, were used for analysis. Pre and postoperative measurements of the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination based on the Frankfort horizontal (FH) plane were performed. X and Y were defined as the amount of vertical change in the upper incisor tip and the amount of vertical change in the upper first molar mesial cup tip through the operation. The amount of final posterior maxillary impaction was determined by subtracting Y from X, which is the difference in vertical height. According to the amount of posterior maxillary impaction, the change in the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination was measured. Results: The average posterior maxillary impaction was 2.91 mm and the average change in the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination was $6.54^{\circ}$after surgery. As a result, each mm of posterior maxillary impaction changed the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination by $2.25^{\circ}$. Statistically, there was high significance. Two cases were observed: one with the same amount of posterior maxillary impaction performed on both the right and left showing $2.20^{\circ}$, and the other with a different amount of posterior maxillary impaction performed showing $2.35^{\circ}$. In this case, there was no significance difference between the two cases. Conclusion: Each mm of posterior maxillary impaction changes the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination by an average of $2.25^{\circ}$. In posterior maxillary impaction, there was no significant difference in the amount of change in the occlusal plane angle and incisal inclination regardless of whether there was an equal amount of posterior maxillary impaction on both sides. This study is expected to help in the presurgical orthodontic preparation and presurgical treatment planning.

Background: The primary aim of this study is to statistically analyze and compare the difference in treatment outcomes based on the frequency and duration of acupotomy treatment for lumbar disk herniation. Methods: The evaluation of efficacy and safety involved using visual analog scale (VAS), numeric rating scale (NRS), Roland Morris disability questionnaire (RMDQ), EuroQol 5-dimention (EQ-5D), and similar parameters. This was achieved through the establishment of a comparable cohort using propensity score matching. Group A comprised 46 patients who underwent 4 sessions of acupotomy treatment for 2 weeks, while Group B consisted of 15 patients who received 6 acupotomy sessions for 3 weeks. Results: For Group A, the average amount of change in VAS values at weeks 4 and 6 was significantly decreased. However, the average amount of change in RMDQ values was not significant. Notably, the average amount of change of EQ-5D values at week 6 increased significantly. As for Group B, the average amount of change of NRS values in weeks 2 and 3 was significantly decreased. Conversely, the average amount of change in RMDQ and EQ-5D values was not significant. In comparing the 2 groups at the final follow-up, the average amount of change in all evaluation values was not significant. Further, no significant interaction effect was observed in the changes over time in all evaluation values between the 2 groups. Conclusion: This study establishes that there was no statistically significant difference in pain reduction, functional impairment, and quality of life improvement between 2 group.
This study aimed to analyze the relationship between sea surface temperature as a climatic element and catch amount of offshore and coastal fisheries in Korea using annual time series data from 1970 to 2013. It also tried to predict the future changes in catch amount of fisheries by climate change. Time series data on variables were estimated to be non-stationary from unit root tests, but one long-term equilibrium relation between variables was found from a cointegration test. The result of Granger causality test indicated that the sea surface temperature would cause directly changes in catch amount of offshore and coastal fisheries. The result of regression analysis on sea surface temperature and catch amount showed that the sea surface temperature would have negative impacts on the catch amount of offshore and coastal fisheries. Therefore, if the sea surface temperature would increase, all other things including the current level of fishing effort being equal, the catch amount of offshore and coastal fisheries was predicted to decrease.

In this study, we conducted to analyze and quantify the amount of nitrogen supply into the rice paddies from the rainfall during cropping and non-crop periods. Rainfall monitoring conducted 85 times from June 2015 to December 2017. Nitrogen supply of cropping season ranged from 5.37 to 7.70 kg/ha, while non-cropping season were supplied from 3.97 to 4.42 kg/ha. The supply of T-N in the crop period was more than 60% of the total supply. And as a result of analyzing the correlation between the characteristics of rainfall and the supply amount, nitrogen concentrations in rainfall were decreased with increasing rainfall, but the supply amount was increased. Therefore, efforts should be made to increase the rainfall utilization and to increase the nitrogen supply of crops by increasing rainfall storage through drainage management.
The author performed this study for investigation of the magnitude of mandibular positional change caused by joint sound during mandibular opening and closing movement. There have been many studies stated mandibular border movement or other functional movement, and there also have been many studies reported clicking sound related to mandibular movement speed, trajectory and clinicl course of temporomandibular disorders(TMDs), but there have not been so many studies stated spatial mandibular position accompanied by joint sound. For this study 46 TM joint from the patients with TMDs were used and they were compared by character and occuring phase of the joint sound. Synchronized data which were amplitude and frequency of joint sound and amount of mandibular positional change were collected through sonopak and BioEGN rotate of Biopak system, respectively. Mandibular position was analyzed for translational and rotational movement change between before and after joint sound. The obtained data were processed with SAS program and summary of this paper were as follows : 1. Mean value of the amount of translational movement in whole joints were 6.0mm in vertical direction, 3.3mm in anteroposterior direction and 0.8mm in lateral direction between before and after joint sound. 2. Mean value of the amount of translational movement in clicking joinnts showed slightly increased tendency than in popping joints. 3. The amount of mandibular change in translational movement during closing phase were more than during opening phase. 4. The amount of mandibular rotational change in whole joints were $1.1^{\circ}$, 1.0mm in frontal plane and $0.9^{\circ}$, and 0.8mm in horizontal plane. 5. The amount of rotational movement were more in clicking joints than in popping joints and were more during closing phase than during opening phase, but statistically significance were showed only in frontal plane.
This study intends to suggest production process of circular knitted jackets and dimensional change data of finished clothes after washing. the study provides pattern design method of circular knitted jackets by applying dimensional change. By doing so, the purpose of this study is to increase production efficiency through accurate order in consideration of loss amount of the fabrics in production. With the three fabric materials selected, this study investigated dimensional change of circular knitted jackets after sewing and washing by varying the parts to be attached to padding cloth and with or without inner lining. As for the fabric F-C (including the spandex, thicker and weightier than the other two fabrics), front width shrunk by 4.6%, which showed the biggest shrinkage among the jackets made of test fabrics. Then it suggested design methods of circular knitted jacket patterns to which dimensional change is applied according to materials, and analyzed the amount of fabric required for production by comparison of the materials. When using the fabric F-C without inner lining, there is big dimensional change and more than double amount of fabric is required. It is expected that the research results will be a basic data for pattern design and production process of circular knitted clothing.
