도인안교(導引按蹻) 중 안교법(按蹻法)에 대해 - 의료기공 원리에 근거한 휘담식 수기요법 (A Study on the Angyo Method of Doin Angyo - Whidam's Su-Gi Therapy Based on the Principles of Medical Gigong)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand a medical Gigong's view of the human body through the analysis of medical Gigong techniques, and to understand the concept and treatment principle of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy as the Angyo(按蹻) Method of Doin Angyo(導引 按蹻) Methods : Among Medical Gigong, Sojucheon practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop were selected to analyze the practice method. The medical Gigong's views of the human body are organized into overviews and pathological perspective. The main concepts and clinical techniques of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy were summarized. Discussion : Understanding the principles of medical Gigong is necessary in order to understand the Angyo method of Doin Angyo. The principle of medical Gigong is to circulate around Three-Danjeon(丹田) on the human belly and Three-Gwan(關) on the human back by practicing medical Gigong, and to strengthen the life force by activating the viscera function by communicating between the limbs and the body. If there are Jeokchwi(積聚) and deviation, Whidam's Su-Gi therapy eliminates the Jeokchwi and adjusts the deviation. Conclusions : 1. The Angyo method of Doin Angyo originates from the practice of training to establish Danjeon for the right body and the right flow of air. 2. The principles of medical Gigong obtained through the analysis of Sojucheon(小周天) practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop are the medical Gigong's view of the human body and pathological perspective. 3. Whidam's Su-Gi therapy, which focuses on the elimination of Jeokchwi and the adjustment of deviation based on the medical Gigong's view of the human body, is a manual therapy that inherits the principle of the Angyo Method of Doin Angyo.

Reliable and High Spatial Resolution Method to Identify the Number of MoS2 Layers Using a Scanning Electron Microscopy

  • The electronic and optical characteristics of molybdenum disulphide ($MoS_2$) film significantly vary with its thickness, and thus a rapid and accurate estimation of the number of $MoS_2$ layers is critical in practical applications as well as in basic researches. Various existing methods are currently available for the thickness measurement, but each has drawbacks. Transmission electron microscopy allows actual counting of the $MoS_2$ layers, but is very complicated and requires destructive processing of the sample to the point where it will no longer be useable after characterization. Atomic force microscopy, particularly when operated in the tapping mode, is likewise time-consuming and suffers from certain anomalies caused by an improperly chosen set point, that is, free amplitude in air for the cantilever. Raman spectroscopy is a quick characterization method for identifying one to a few layers, but the laser irradiation causes structural degradation of the $MoS_2$. Optical microscopy works only when $MoS_2$ is on a silicon substrate covered with $SiO_2$ of 100~300 nm thickness. The last two optical methods are commonly limited in resolution to the micrometer range due to the diffraction limits of light. We report here a method of measuring the distribution of the number of $MoS_2$ layers using a low voltage field emission electron microscope with acceleration voltages no greater than 1 kV. We found a linear relationship between the FESEM contrast and the number of $MoS_2$ layers. This method can be used to characterize $MoS_2$ samples at nanometer-level spatial resolution, which is below the limits of other methods.

차량용 전자식 웨이스트 게이트 터보차져의 밸브 떨림음에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental investigation on valve rattle noise of automotive electronic-wastegate turbochargers)

  • 차량용 터보차져는 디젤엔진뿐만이 아니라 가솔린 엔진에서도 장착이 보편화 되었다. 터보차져는 엔진의 효율과 출력을 효과적으로 증가시키는데 매우 훌륭한 장치이기는 하나, 여러 가지의 소음 문제를 유발시키기도 한다. 이들 소음은 회전축의 거동에 의하여 유발되는 구조 전달 소음과 공기 유동에 의하여 유도되는 공력 소음으로 구분된다. 이와 더불어 웨이스트게이트 밸브를 전자적으로 제어하는 액츄에이터계 거동으로부터 발생되는 기계적 소음이 있는데, 이것이 밸브 떨림음이다. 이 소음은 밸브가 열려 있을 때에만 발생하는데, 이는 연결 구조물 사이의 간극이 외력에 의하여 강제 접촉을 유지하지 않고 밸브부터 액츄에이터 사이에 연결되어 있는 각 연결 구조물이 서로 자유단으로 접촉하고 있기 때문이다. 각 자유단 접촉점에서는 배기가스 맥동파에 의하여 충격 진동이 발생하고 이것이 터빈하우징으로 전달되어 밸브 떨림음이 발생하는 것이다. 그러나, 액츄에이터의 기계적 구동력에 의하여 액츄에이터의 모든 연결 구조물이 강제접촉을 유지하고 있는 기계식 액츄에이터에서는 발생하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 불평형 회전축을 갖는 소형 진동 모터를 이용하여 전자식 액츄에이터에서 발생하는 밸브 떨림음 평가를 위한 장치를 고안하였으며, 이 장치를 이용하여 밸브 떨림음의 저감효과를 평가하였다. 소음 저감 방법으로는 구조물간 접촉 간극 축소 또는 웨이브 와셔 삽입, 밸브레버와 터빈하우징 사이에 조립되는 부싱의 헐거움 끼움이 효과적임을 확인하였다.

Performance Evaluation of Hypersonic Turbojet Experimental Aircraft Using Integrated Numerical Simulation with Pre-cooled Turbojet Engine

  • The effect of Pre-cooled Turbojet Engine installation and nozzle exhaust jet on Hypersonic Turbojet EXperimental aircraft(HYTEX aircraft) were investigated by three-dimensional numerical analyses to obtain aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft during its in-flight condition. First, simulations of wind tunnel experiment using small scale model of the aircraft with and without the rectangular duct reproducing engine was performed at M=5.1 condition in order to validate the calculation code. Here, good agreements with experimental data were obtained regarding centerline wall pressures on the aircraft and aerodynamic coefficients of forces and moments acting on the aircraft. Next, full scale integrated analysis of the aircraft and the engine were conducted for flight Mach numbers of M=5.0, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0. Increasing the angle of attack $\alpha$ of the aircraft in M=5.0 flight increased the mass flow rate of the air captured at the intake due to pre-compression effect of the nose shockwave, also increasing the thrust obtained at the engine plug nozzle. Sufficient thrust for acceleration were obtained at $\alpha=3$ and 5 degrees. Increase of flight Mach number at $\alpha=0$ degrees resulted in decrease of mass flow rate captured at the engine intake, and thus decrease in thrust at the nozzle. The thrust was sufficient for acceleration at M=3.5 and lower cases. Lift force on the aircraft was increased by the integration of engine on the aircraft for all varying angles of attack or flight Mach numbers. However, the slope of lift increase when increasing flight Mach number showed decrease as flight Mach number reach to M=5.0, due to the separation shockwave at the upper surface of the aircraft. Pitch moment of the aircraft was not affected by the installation of the engines for all angles of attack at M=5.0 condition. In low Mach number cases at $\alpha=0$ degrees, installation of the engines increased the pitch moment compared to no engine configuration. Installation of the engines increased the frictional drag on the aircraft, and its percentage to the total drag ranged between 30-50% for varying angle of attack in M=5.0 flight.

Hypoxia Mediates Runt-Related Transcription Factor 2 Expression via Induction of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Periodontal Ligament Stem Cells

  • Periodontitis is characterized by the loss of periodontal tissues, especially alveolar bone. Common therapies cannot satisfactorily recover lost alveolar bone. Periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs) possess the capacity of self-renewal and multilineage differentiation and are likely to recover lost alveolar bone. In addition, periodontitis is accompanied by hypoxia, and hypoxia-inducible $factor-1{\alpha}$ ($HIF-1{\alpha}$) is a master transcription factor in the response to hypoxia. Thus, we aimed to ascertain how hypoxia affects runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2), a key osteogenic marker, in the osteogenesis of PDLSCs. In this study, we found that hypoxia enhanced the protein expression of $HIF-1{\alpha}$, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and RUNX2 ex vivo and in situ. VEGF is a target gene of $HIF-1{\alpha}$, and the increased expression of VEGF and RUNX2 proteins was enhanced by cobalt chloride ($CoCl_2$, $100{\mu}mol/L$), an agonist of $HIF-1{\alpha}$, and suppressed by 3-(5'-hydroxymethyl-2'-furyl)-1-benzyl indazole (YC-1, $10{\mu}mol/L$), an antagonist of $HIF-1{\alpha}$. In addition, VEGF could regulate the expression of RUNX2, as RUNX2 expression was enhanced by human VEGF ($hVEGF_{165}$) and suppressed by VEGF siRNA. In addition, knocking down VEGF could decrease the expression of osteogenesis-related genes, i.e., RUNX2, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and type I collagen (COL1), and hypoxia could enhance the expression of ALP, COL1, and osteocalcin (OCN) in the early stage of osteogenesis of PDLSCs. Taken together, our results showed that hypoxia could mediate the expression of RUNX2 in PDLSCs via $HIF-1{\alpha}$-induced VEGF and play a positive role in the early stage of osteogenesis of PDLSCs.

Comparison of Drying Yield, Meat Quality, Oxidation Stability and Sensory Properties of Bone-in Shell Loin Cut by Different Dry-aging Conditions

  • This study aimed to investigate the drying yield, meat quality, oxidation stability and sensory properties of Hanwoo beef loin subjected to different dry-aging conditions. A total of 54 Hanwoo beef loins (bone-in, $6^{th}-13^{th}$ ribs) with fat cover at 2 d postmortem were assigned to four groups and hung in a dry-aging room at a controlled temperature ($2^{\circ}C-4^{\circ}C$), humidity (65%-85%) and air velocity (3 m/s). Four treatment conditions were tested; the respective temperature, humidity and treatment duration are as follows: T1, $2^{\circ}C$, 85%, 60 d; T2, $2^{\circ}C$, 65%, $20d+2^{\circ}C$, 75%, $20d+4^{\circ}C$, 85%, 20 d; T3, $2^{\circ}C$, 75%, $20d+4^{\circ}C$, 85%, 40 d; T4, $4^{\circ}C$, 85%, 60 d. The drying yield, total aerobic counts and fat contents increased, whereas the moisture content, meat color (CIE $L^*$, $a^*$, and $b^*$), and Warner-Bratzler shear force values decreased significantly during the aging period for all treatments (p<0.05). The cooking loss (%) did not change significantly until 40 d, and it was significantly higher in T1 and T4 than in T2 and T3 at 60 d (p<0.05). The water-holding capacity, pH and lipid oxidation [thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) values] increased during aging (p<0.05). The sensory scores for tenderness, juiciness, flavor, and overall acceptability of dry-aged loin muscles increased as the aging period increased. T2 and T3 had significantly higher sensory scores and T1 had significantly lower scores for tenderness, juiciness, flavor, and overall acceptability at 20, 40, and 60 d for loin muscles (p<0.05).

MM-ALE 유한요소 시뮬레이션을 이용한 수중 어뢰폭발에서의 최악파편의 종단속도 추정 (Estimation of the Terminal Velocity of the Worst-Case Fragment in an Underwater Torpedo Explosion Using an MM-ALE Finite Element Simulation)

  • 본 논문은 명시적 유한요소 해석을 이용하여 군함이나 수상함 아래의 수중에서 어뢰가 폭발할 때의 파편들의 거동을 조사하기 위하여 작성되었다. 본 연구에서는 LS-DYNA에서 라그랑주-오일러 (ALE) 접근법이라 불리는 유체-구조물 상호작용(FSI) 기법을 적용하여 어뢰파편과 선체의 응답을 관찰하였다. 오일러 모델은 공기, 물, 폭약으로 구성되며, 라그랑주 모델은 파편과 선체로 이루어져 있다. 본 모델링의 핵심은 최악파편이 어뢰로부터 가까운 곳(4.5 m)에 위치한 선체에 파공을 일으킬 수 있는지 여부를 파악하는 데 있다. 시뮬레이션은 별도의 두 단계로 수행되었다. 첫 번째의 예비해석에서는 팽창하는 어뢰의 외피가 찢어지는 데 폭약에너지의 30%가 소모된다는 가정 하에 수중폭발 시의 파편속도에 대해 잘 알려져 있는 실험결과를 토대로 최악파편의 초기속도를 결정하였다. 두 번째의 총괄해석에서는 최악파편이 선체에 부딪치기 직전에 보일 것으로 예상되는 파편의 종단속도를 찾고자 하였다. 그 결과, 주어진 조건 하에서 최악파편의 초기속도는 매우 빠른 것으로 나타났다(400 및 1000 m/s). 하지만 충돌이 발생할 때의 파편과 선체 간의 속도차이는 불과 4 m/s 정도로 매우 작았다. 이 결과는 물에 의한 큰 항력의 영향도 있지만 선체에 부여한 비파괴 조건도 영향을 끼쳤을 것으로 보인다. 하지만 적어도 본 논문에서 가정한 해석조건 하에서는 최악파편의 느린 상대속도로 인하여 선체에 파공이 발생하기는 어려운 것으로 나타났다.

미취학 자녀를 둔 기혼 여군 장교의 일·가정 양립 지원제도 활용 정도와 재직의도 영향요인 (Utilization of Work-Family Balance Support Policy and Factors Associated with Retention Intention among Married Female Officers with Preschool Children)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify utilization of the work-family support policy (WFSP) and factors affecting retention intention among Korean female military officers. Methods: This cross-sectional survey recruited 103 married female officers from the Korean Army, Navy, and Air force with preschool-aged children through convenience and snowball sampling. Via online surveys from June to November, 2018, the participants self-reported retention intention, work-family conflict, job satisfaction, and utilization of the WFSP. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression. Results: Retention intention ($22.29{\pm}5.98$) was reported at the mid-level, lower than scores reported in the literature for female workers. Work-family conflict ($32.51{\pm}5.29$) and job satisfaction ($63.10{\pm}7.45$) were above the midpoint levels. Use of maternity leave (100.0%) and parental leave (92.2%) was high, especially compared to the rates of child-care day off (20.4%) and parenting time (20.4%). 'Noticeable increases in childcare services within the army' (22.8%) was reported as the supportive measure needed the most by female military officers. Job satisfaction (${\beta}=.43$, $p{\leq}.001$), the use of parenting time (${\beta}=-0.29$, p=.002), living type (${\beta}=-.18$, p=.043), and service type (${\beta}=-.16$, p=.035) significantly influenced retention intention. Conclusions: The findings highlight the priority areas of importance within the WFSP and suggest that a family-friendly culture can improve female officers' retention intention. Accordingly, policy changes at the Ministry of National Defense improving the system to enhance a family-friendly culture in the military is expected to strengthen the retention intention of female officers and contribute to excellence in the military workforce.

자동차 연비향상을 위한 복합재료 적용 타당성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Suitability of Composite Materials for Enhancement of Automotive Fuel Economy)

  • 본 논문에서는 KIA K3 (1.6) 가솔린 자동차의 연비(km/liter)식을 동력학적 힘-모멘트 평형 방정식, 구동력 및 에너지 방정식을 구성하고 분석하여 유도하였다. 이를 통해 차량의 속도(V), 자동차 총 중량(M), 타이어-노면의 롤링저항계수($C_r$), 도로 경사각(${\theta}$)과 항력계수($C_d$), 차량의 횡단면적(A)과 같은 공기역학적 매개변수가 자동차의 연비에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 경량금속합금, 섬유강화 플라스틱 복합재료와 같은 대체재료가 기존 자동차의 강재, 주철재를 대체하여 차량의 무게를 줄일 수 있는 가능성 등을 Ashby의 재료지수 방법으로 조사하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 고속(100km/h)에서 연비에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 매개변수는 그 크기순으로 자동차의 속도 V와 공기역학적 매개변수인 $C_d$, A, ${\rho}$ 및 동력학적 매개변수인 $C_r$, M의 순서로 조사되었다. 반면에 저속(60 km/h)에서는 동력학적 매개변수로는 V, M, $C_r$의 순서로, 공기역학적 매개변수로는 $C_d$, A, ${\rho}$ 순으로 영향을 미침을 확인하였다.

MIL-HDBK-516C 기반의 군용항공기 탑재 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스 (Software Development Process of Military Aircraft based on MIL-HDBK-516C)

  • 현대 항공기에서 대부분의 기능은 소프트웨어에 의해 통제되고 있으므로 소프트웨어 오류는 항공기 안전과 직결된다. MIL-HDBK-516C 15장은 군용항공기 탑재 소프트웨어의 안전한 개발과 검증을 위해서 적용되는 기준이다. 미 공군은 이 기준이 반복적인 미충족을 경험함에 따라 기준 충족을 위한 지침으로 감항성 회람(AC-17-01)을 발간하였다. 본 논문에서는 MIL-HDBK-516C 15장, AC-17-01, 그리고 미 연방 항공청에서 적용하고 있는 SW 인증 지침(DO-178C)을 비교 분석하였다. 먼저 AC-17-01 단계와 각 단계에서 명시된 MIL-HDBK-516C 15장 기준 그리고 MIL-HDBK-516C 기준에서 DO-178C를 명시한 기준간 정합 비율 식을 정의하였다. 그리고 비율 분석을 통하여 AC-17-01과 DO-178C를 달성하는 경우 MIL-HDBK-516C 충족 가능한 기준을 도출하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 항공 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스를 수립하고 MIL-HDBK-516C 15장 적용 사례를 제시하였다.
