  • We propose some properties for fuzzy hypothesis test by fuzzy significance probability. First, we define fuzzy number data and fuzzy significance probability for repeatedly observed data with alternated error term. By the agreement index, we compare fuzzy significance probability with significance level and drawing conclusions the degree of acceptance and rejection by agreement index.

  • We furnished some properties of fuzzy testing of independence for correlation in a bivariate normal distribution by agreement index. First we present some restriction of the fuzzy data, define fuzzy sample correlation coefficient and agreement index for testing hypothesis with acceptance or rejection degree. Also, we show that UMP unbiased fuzzy test and drawing conclusions the fuzzy test.

  • We propose some properties for fuzzy binomial proportion test by agreement index. First we define fuzzy probability space and fuzzy type I error and type II error for the fuzzy probability of the two type errors. Also, we show that a fuzzy power function of performance for a fuzzy hypothesis test and drawing conclusions from the test.

  • It was calculated using empirical formulas for the weight of Tetrapod, which was a representative armor unit in the rubble mound breakwater in Korea. As the formulas were evaluated from a curve-fitting with the result of hydraulic test, the uncertainty of experimental error was included. Therefore, the neural network and M5' model tree were used to minimize the uncertainty and predicted the stability number of armor block. The index of agreement between the predicted and measured stability number was calculated to assess the degree of uncertainty for each model. While the neural network with the highest index of agreement have an excellent prediction capability, a significant disadvantage exists that general designers can not easily handle the method. However, although M5' model tree has a lower prediction capability than the neural network, the model tree is easily used by the designers because it has a good prediction capability compared with the existing empirical formula and can be used to propose the formulas like an empirical formula.

  • The objective of this short communication is to introduce several evaluation methods to crop model users because the evaluation of crop model performance is an important step to develop or select crop model. In this paper, mean error, mean absolute error, index of agreement, root mean square error, efficiency of model, accuracy factor and bias factor were explained and compared in terms of dimension and observed number. Efficiency of model and index of agreement are dimensionless and independent of number of observation. Relative root mean square, accuracy factor and bias factor are dimensionless and not independent of number of observation. Mean error and mean absolute error are affected by dimension and number of observation.

  • This paper is an HPSG approach to agreement phenomena involving the Korean honorific expressions. it is shown that the theoretical devices developed by the constraint-based theory of HPSG can be fruitfully used to capture the interactions between syntactic constraints and semantic of pragmatic factors in Korean honorific agreement. The HPSG's semantic feature 'referential index' plays a key rele in discribing the multiple interaction. The constraint-based theory of agreement proves successful in accounting for the phenomenon that may be called 'inconsistent' honorific agreement as well as 'consistent' regular honorific usages. However, this paper acknowledges its limit. Recognizing an important distinction between basic and 'coercive' honorific expressions, it is argued that a systactic-semantic-pragmatic approach such as the present one can only be applied to basic honorific agreement. Being sociolinguistic in nature, coercive honorific agreement is perhaps not amenable to formal linguistic investigation.

  • In this paper, we study some properties of condition for fuzzy data, agrement index by ratio of area and the uniformly most powerful fuzzy test of hypothesis. Also, we suggest a confidence bound for uniformly most powerful fuzzy test. For illustration, we take the most powerful critical fuzzy region from exponential distribution by likelihood ratio and test the hypothesis of ${\chi}^2$-distribution by agreement index.
