This study was investigated to examine the antioxidant activity and quality characteristics of ginger Jocheong added with Gujeung-gupo ginger powder and the results were as follows. As the amount of Gujeung-gupo ginger powder added into ginger Jocheong increased, the moisture and carbohydrate contents of ginger Jocheong significantly decreased(F=133.33, p<.001) and increased(F=36.15, p<.001), respectively. The content of mineral composition such as K, Ca and Zn showed higher values as the amount of added Gujeung-gupo ginger powder increased. As the amount of Gujeung-gupo ginger powder added into ginger Jocheong increased, sweetness(F=200.00, p<.001), viscosity(F=441.23, p<.001), L value(F=1,458, p<.001), a value(F=44.56, p<.001) and b value(F=203, p<.001) decreased significantly, and pH significantly increased(F=59.18, p<.001). As the amount of Gujeung-gupo ginger powder added into ginger Jocheong increased, total polyphenol content(F=86.015, p<.001), total flavonoid content(F=885.012, p<.001), and DPPH radical scavenging activity(F=75.136, p<.001), ABTS radical scavenging ability(F=145.751, p<.001), and FRAP activity(F=172.242, p<.001) increased. From the above results, the antioxidant activity and quality characteristics of ginger Jocheong added with Gujeung-gupo ginger powder confirmed the potential development of ginger Jocheong with high antioxidant activity.

This study attempted to examine the sensory quality, color and moisture content of Ssooksulgis added with mugworts. In sensory quality, Ssooksulgis made by 100% rice flour added with 20% Mugworts showed the most favorite characteristics. In view of color, texture, after swallowing and overall quality, 10% Mugworts Ssooksulgis was preferable than those of other Ssooksulgis added 25% glutinous rice flour. Moisture contents was not different another reports. l-value on the control group which was not added mugworts was high, 86.78, 84.42 respectively.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the purchase behavior and the level of satisfaction for Japanese tourists buying cultural-fashion product in Korea. Subjects were selected through convenient sampling technique in Seoul. A self-administered questionnaire was developed in Japanese by translation and back-translation method. Finally, 288 questionnaire out of 400 were used for data analysis. For the purpose of achieving high value-added fashion products, the 4P marketing strategies targeting Japanese tourists were discussed based on the results.

This study was aimed to find an optimum amount of jujube paste to ice flour for the preparation of Daechupyun(jujube rice cake). The moisture content of Daechupyun added with jujube paste was 40∼42%. The more jujube paste was added, the L-value and b-value were decreased, and a-value of Daechupyun was increased. In the mechanical evaluation of Dachupyun, the hardness was the lowest in the samples with 12% jujube paste after 12-hour storage. The adhesiveness and springiness were not significantly different by adding jujube paste after 24-hour storage. The cohesiveness was increased with the increase of added jujube paste at 12, 36 and 48 hours of storage. The gumminess was the lowest in the samples with 12% jujube paste during storage. In the sensory evaluation of Daechupyun, the acceptance for the softness and chewiness war the best in the samples with 12% jujube paste. Daechupyun with 12-16% of jujube paste to rice flour was found to be the best recipe based on the sensory qualities of softness, chewiness and overall acceptability.

Satellite images without value-added processing may be nothing but artistic painting. That is in order to benefit from satellite images acquired from money-drinking satellites, we should utilize the paramount information in scientific world and practical lift that can be extracted from image. Hence, the Satellite Technology Research Center has developed a integrated software called "Valadd-Pro". In this paper, the main components of the Valadd-Pro are briefly introduced, its value-added product are compared with PCI$^{\circledR}$ commercial software. Based on the results, the performance of the Valadd-Pro is superior to that of PCI$^{\circledR}$ on 6000$\times$6000 SPOT panchromatic images.

In these days, the interest on health industry is increasing around the world. This paper attempts to estimate the economic effects of the Cosmetic Industrydusing the Input-Output Analysis. Especially, 78*78 Sector Tables were used as the first analysis tool. So then, 79*79 Sector Tables adjusted were used for that industry. The main analysis tools of this study are comparing and analyzing backward and forward linkage effects, the induced effects of the self industry and other industries and the induced coefficients such as product, value-added, job and employment. According to the result of analysis, the cosmetic industry has great economic impacts which affects the major macroeconomic factors such as product, value added and backward linkage effect. And the induced effects of the self cosmetic industry are significant compared to other industries in aspects of product, value-added, and employment.

Demand for new information services is ever increasing as information technology advances in an unprecedented pace. Capabilities of information technology to overcome the time and space limitations enables efficient storage and processing of a large volume of data shared by many users in geographically dispersed areas. As the users ask for more useful information services, it is necessary to develop information services tp meet the needs of users. Enhancing information services is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information service is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information and telecommunications market as the level of Korean information services industry is still in its infancy. Value Added Network(VAN) services have a tremendous growth potential and its economic and social impact would be great as the information society matures. This study suggests a direction for the development of value added and new-media services based on the survey of individual and business users of information services.

In this study, we offered a way that is to make warehouse industry clustered in Incheon port for getting competitive and high end value added activities like advanced port logistics center considering trend that is changing functions of port and importance of port-hinterland. For this, we studied the existing research about port cluster, the present condition of warehouse industry in Incheon port and importance of value-added logistics activities. Also, we offered needs to build a high value-added and integrated logistics center by examples of advanced port logistics center in Singapore, Netherlands(Rotterdam) and Hongkong. We get the questionnaires for gathering ideas of port logistics industry about to set integrated logistics centers by strategy we offered that is making warehouse logistics clustered.

This study surveyed 152 publicly traded companies to investigate group-performance based pay practices and its impacts on labor productivity. Compared a benchmark survey from Department of Labor, those companies show higher introduction rates, especially in small-to-medium sized companies. They also tend to pay profit-sharing bonus more in the form of company stocks and differentiate individual bonuses more by department performance than individual performance. The impact of group-performance based pay on labor productivity is positive and statistically significant. Economic value added per person in those companies adopting group-performance based pay tends to be higher and increases with the coverage of employees under the pay plan. It also reveals that the years after the play adoption are negatively associated with labor productivity.
