Add-on selling can provide new chances to increase sellers' profits and meet customers' needs. Although prior studies have advocated add-on selling for its business value, there is an argument that add-on selling can cause customer repulsion. Therefore, we need to understand customer purchasing pattern related to add-on selling in order to promote it and to mitigate the customer repulsion. To that end, we applied data mining techniques to the 24,925 transactions of data from an online open market in Korea. We then conducted feature selection to investigate the most influential factors that can explain the characteristics of add-on selling transactions using a classification model. We also identified association rules among add-on selling and promotions. Finally, based on the findings in our experiments, we proposed add-on selling strategies for the target online market.
Add-Vision has developed a low-cost print technology for P-OLED displays on flexible substrates that meets several essentials for a new technology including: (1) Functionality including low DC voltage and wide color gamut; (2) Utilization of inexpensive tools; (3) Performance matching entry applications and markets. AVI's process is based on large-area printing of a combination of doped emissive and air-stable cathode inks utilizing truly low-cost tools to create printed P-OLEDs.

An AddSIM(Adaptive distributed and parallel Simulation environment for Interoperable and reusable Models) is an integrated engagement simulation environment with high-resolution weapon system models for estimation and analysis of their performance and effectiveness. AddSIM can simultaneously handle the continuous dynamical system models based on continuous time, and command, control(C2) and network system models based on a discrete event. To accommodate legacies based on DEVS(Discrete Event System Specification) modeling, DEVS legacies must first be converted into AddSIM models. This paper describes how to implement DEVS models on AddSIM. In this study a method of mapping from hierarchical DEVS models to AddSIM players was developed: The hierarchical DEVS model should be flattened into a one layered model and four DEVS functions of the model, external transition, internal transition, output and time advance, should be mapped into functions of the AddSIM player.

The purpose of this study was 1) to estimate the improvement of thermal storage/release and moisture transport properties of PEG-treated acrylic athletic socks and suggest the optimum add-on for PEG treatment, 2) to investigate wear performance of untreated cocks and two kinds of socks treated with PEG of minimum and optimum add-on respectively, and 3) to consider the effect of thermal storage/release and moisture transport properties of PEG- treated socks on the wear performance and the subjective comfort zone. Thermal activities of specimens treated by PDC were evaluated on a DSC by measuring the heat of fusion on heating and the heat of crystallization on cooling. Moisture regain, absorption speed, wickability, water retenti on value, and water-vapor permeability were measured. In the wear trials that the subjects performed a subsequent exercise protocol wearing three differently treated socks in a conditioned environment ($14\pm2^{\circ}C$, 65$\pm$2% R.H.), microclimate temperature and humidity, and subjective wear sensations including thermal sensation, wettedness, softness, fit, and overall comfort were obtained. PEC-treated specimens with more than 20% add-on showed thermal storage on heating and thermal release on cooling by a DSC and the heat contents of treated ones were generally proportional to the add-ons. Moisture transport properties were highly improved after PEG treatment and increased rapidly with increasing add-on. The tendencies were, however, relaxed above 50% add-on and the treated knits were much stiffer above that add-on. In the wear trials of untreated, PEG add-on 20%, and 50% acrylic socks, the changes of microclimate temperature of 50% socks were significantly less than that of 20% socks. PEG add-on 50% socks showed significantly less changes of microclimate humidity than other two kinds of socks. Three kinds of socks showed significant differences in overall comfort and add-on 50% socks were accepted more comfortable than other two kinds of socks. Comfort zone of foot was extended after PEG treatment on socks and it implied that the subjects wearing PEG- treated socks felt comfortable in wider ranges of microclimate temperature and humidity.

Sensor dataset for autonomous driving is one of the essential components as the deep learning approaches are widely used. However, most driving datasets are focused on typical environments such as sunny or cloudy. In addition, most datasets deal with color images and lidar. In this paper, we propose a driving dataset with multi-spectral images and lidar in adverse weather conditions such as snowy, rainy, smoky, and dusty. The proposed data acquisition system has 4 types of cameras (color, near-infrared, shortwave, thermal), 1 lidar, 2 radars, and a navigation sensor. Our dataset is the first dataset that handles multi-spectral cameras in adverse weather conditions. The Proposed dataset is annotated as 2D semantic labels, 3D semantic labels, and 2D/3D bounding boxes. Many tasks are available on our dataset, for example, object detection and driveable region detection. We also present some experimental results on the adverse weather dataset.

We propose, for the first time to our knowledge, a novel gain-clamping method for EDFA in WDM add/drop networks by introducing a disturbance observer technique. The control input signal for gain-clamping is composed of a nominal control signal and an additional control signal of compensating the gain fluctuations caused by channel add/drops. Based on disturbance observer technique, we designed the additional control signal such that it has the compensating information of estimated disturbance resulted from channel add/drops. The circuit for generating additional control signal can easily be implemented by using simple electronic devices. We proved the superiority of the new technique over the previous ones by showing simulation results of minimized dips and spikes that appear in power profile of EDFA in the process of channel add/drops.
In this study, we researched the near addition of presbyopia by the amplitude accommodation method for 40~65ages. The major findings was as follows: 1. The add power was ranged from +0.50Dptr to +3.50Dptr. 2. Add power, +1.50Dptr${\geq}$Add power${\geq}$0.50Dptr was measured in 40~44ages. 3. Add power, +2.00Dptr${\geq}$Add power${\geq}$1.00Dptr was measured in 45~50ages. 4. Add power, +3.00Dptr${\geq}$Add power${\geq}$1.50Dptr was measured in 51~55ages. 5. Add power, +3.50Dptr${\geq}$Add power${\geq}$2.50Dptr was measured in 56~65ages. 6. They put on their glasses for near purpose in 75%.
This paper presents the effects of an initial braking velocity, a braking pressure, and the number of braking stop on the tribological behaviors for the three different C-C composites using an inertia dynamic-friction tester. The C-C composites were prepared through the processes of several cycles of pitch impregnation/carbonization with different friction surface texture such as continuous 8-harness satin fabric (ADD-1), chopped fiber (ADD-2) and chopped fiber (ADD-3) having higher fiber volume fraction on friction than ADD-2 by about 10%. ADD-1 exhibited a higher fraction coefficient (0.41~0.33) than those of ADD-2 and ADD-3 (0.32~0.26) under the various initial braking velocities and braking pressures. The fraction coefficients decreased with increasing the initial velocity and the braking pressures. Wear rate by the thickness change after every 25 stop indicated that ADD-2 and ADD-3 having 1.7~2.7 $\mu\textrm{m}$/stop/pair were much lower than that of ADD-1 showing 5.0~6.5 $\mu\textrm{m}$/stop/pair. All specimens showed a little bit lower wear rate during the middle stage than the initial and latter stages among 100 braking stops. ADD-1 showed higher friction coefficient and wear rate due to the active pull-out of the fibers, evidenced by thicker were film and wear debrises.
Dense Wavelength division multiplexing(DWDM) lightwave system requires multiplexer, demultiplexer and optical filter. In this paper, thus, we propose the Add-Drop Mux/Demux based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) with fiber Bragg grating(FBG). The Add-Drop Mux/Demux using FBG and MZI is able to minimize system and reduce weight. We also analyze output characteristics of Add-Drop Mux/Demux and present the optimum design data through the computer simulation.
