시판 생수의 성분에 관한 조사 (Survey of Chemical and Bacterial Contents in Commercial Life Water)

  • In order for analysis of the actual condition of commercial life water, 38 samples were investigated during March to December in 1988. The results were as follows 1. All the samples analyzed were suitable for physico chemical criteria drinking water. The mean value of NH$_{3}$-N, NO$_{3}$-N, and KMnO$_{4}$ ,consumption were 0.014, 1.232 and 0.794 respectively. 2. General bacterial counts was detected higher than standard limit by 31.6% of total samples and the positive rate of coliform was 2.6% of total samples.

  • Pharmacokinetic parameters of aminoglycosides are dependent on renal function, sex, age, hematocrit, fever, lean body weight (LBW) and disease states, etc. Therefore, the individual pharmacokinetic parameters such as half life $(t^{1/2})$ and volume of distribution(Vd) are needed to achieve optimal therapy. However these parameters had not been determined in Koreans. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Vd and $t^{1/2}$ of amikacin in Korean patients who had normal renal function, to compare the mean values of study group with that reported in the literature and to compare the measured $t^{1/2}$ with the expected $t^{1/2}$ based on actual body weight (ABW), LBW and ideal body weight (IBW), respectively. Based on data, the Vd was greater than the literature and $t^{1/2}$ was similar to the literature. The predicted $t^{1/2}$ based on IBW was the closest to actual $t^{1/2}$. And postpartum patients had greater Vd than other group and had lower correlation between actual elimination rate constant and calculated creatinine clearance but higher correlation between actual elimination rate constant and Vd than other group.

Estimating the Loss Ratio of Solar Photovoltaic Electricity Generation through Stochastic Analysis

  • As climate change and environmental pollution become one of the biggest global issues today, new renewable energy, especially solar photovoltaic (PV) system, is getting great attention as a sustainable energy source. However, initial investment cost of PV system is considerable, and thus, it is crucial to predict electricity generation accurately before installation of the system. This study analyzes the loss ratio of solar photovoltaic electricity generation from the actual PV system monitoring data to predict electricity generation more accurately in advance. This study is carried out with the following five steps: (i) Data collection of actual electricity generation from PV system and the related information; (ii) Calculation of simulation-based electricity generation; (iii) Comparative analysis between actual electricity generation and simulation-based electricity generation based on the seasonality; (iv) Stochastic approach by defining probability distribution of loss ratio between actual electricity generation and simulation-based electricity generation ; and (v) Case study by conducting Monte-Carlo Simulation (MCS) based on the probability distribution function of loss ratio. The results of this study could be used (i) to estimate electricity generation from PV system more accurately before installation of the system, (ii) to establish the optimal maintenance strategy for the different application fields and the different season, and (iii) to conduct feasibility study on investment at the level of life cycle.

The Cost Monitoring of Construction Projects through Earned Value Analysis

  • In construction industry, the term 'procurement' is considered as a project based job where clients and contractors are always keen to observe performance indicators. These indicators represent financial and non-financial efficiency of project activities. Among these, the monitoring of financial indicators such as cost monitoring is an ongoing process and its importance cannot be undermined during the project life cycle. It can be monitored by using traditional approach of direct reporting of actual cost against budget. However, the comparison of budget versus actual spending does not indicate the worth of the work which is completed at any given time. This approach does not represent the true cost performance of the project. Because of these limitations, this paper discusses the applications of Earned Value Analysis (EVA) for cost monitoring of construction projects in Malaysia. Besides traditional approach, EVA is a three-dimensional approach that compares three cost indicators i.e. the budgeted value of work scheduled with the earned value of physical work completed and the actual cost of work completed. Therefore, cost monitoring by EVA is an objective measure of actual work performed. This paper uses a case study, an example application of EVA as a cost monitoring tool. This case study reaffirms the benefits of using EVA for project cash flow analysis and forecasting.

  • 고령화 사회에서 고령사회로 급격하게 변화하는 시점에서 노인의 특성과 생활실태를 정확히 파악하여 사회전반에서 발생하는 변화의 양상을 인식하고, 이에 대하여 효과적이고도 적극적으로 대응해야 할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 2008년도에 전국적으로 조사된 노인생활실태 및 복지욕구조사자료를 바탕으로 가구와 개인정보에 대한 노인생활실태를 파악하고 이러한 변수가 생활 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 통계자료분석을 실시하여, 현실적 타당성과 적합성을 지닌 고령사회의 사회정책수립에 도움이 되고자 한다.

중장년층의 주거환경이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Residential Environment on Life Satisfaction Among the Middle-aged: Focused on the Moderating Effects of Social Capital)

  • 삶의 질적 풍요로움을 추구하는 21세기에 생활수준이 향상되고 삶에 대한 욕구가 다양해짐에 따라 주거의 질에 관한 관심이 점점 커지고 있다. 삶의 만족도는 주거만족이라고 하는 기본적 욕구가 충족된 생활로 볼 수 있으며 이러한 욕구의 충족으로 삶의 질은 높아질 것이다. 인간은 누구나 사회관계를 맺으며 생활하고, 사회관계는 다양한 측면에서 개인들의 삶의 질에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 중장년층의 주거환경과 사회적 자본의 실태를 알아보고 주거환경과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 사회적 자본이 미치는 영향을 실증연구를 통해 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 자료 수집을 위해 중장년층을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 설문지 500부를 배포하여 490부를 수거한 후 결측값이 없는 484부를 SPSS Win Ver. 21.0을 이용하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 중장년층의 주거환경이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중장년층의 주거환경과 삶의 만족도 간에 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 분석한 결과 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 따라, 향후 중장년층의 보다 만족스러운 삶의 질 향상을 위한 방향과 우리나라 주거정책 수립에 유용한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영역별 사회연결망이 생활 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Area-Specific Social Network on Life Satisfaction)

  • The present study investigated the effect of area-specific social networks on urban workers life satisfaction. For this, 356 adults over age 20 were interviewed from June 17th 2013 to June 29th 2013. The findings are as follows: First, the closeness of family network index demonstrates that participants with higher affective support have higher life satisfaction. In addition, stronger extended family network brings more life satisfaction and so does a bigger friendship network. Secondly, the extended family network explains 17.6% of the variance in social networks follows by family network, other network, and friendship network, respectively. The closeness variable of social networks yields statistical significance on all categories of networks. The affective support level in the closeness variable of social networks shows differences as well; family network positively associates with life satisfaction. The purposes of this research are to investigate the actual conditions of urban workers' life satisfaction and the influence of family, extended family, friendship, and other variables on life satisfaction. If social networks have an influence on life satisfaction, to find the domain of social networks that holds the most influences on life satisfaction is an important ground in the process of implementing regional welfare.

평균수명을 이용한 사망률 예측모형 비교연구 (A Comparison Study for Mortality Forecasting Models by Average Life Expectancy)

  • 사망률 예측모형과 생명표 작성방법에 기반을 둔 예측평균수명 작성은 미래의 사망수준을 평가하는 효과적인 방법이 된다. 2006년 통계청에서 장래인구추계 작성 시 예측평균수명을 작성하였으나, 2006년 이후 현재까지 실제평균수명과 적지 않은 차이를 보이고 있어 평균수명의 증가속도를 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이의 원인으로는 전망치에 대한판단, 사망률 예측모형의 선택과 사용 등이 이유가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사망률 예측모형의 선택관점에서 이 문제를 살펴보고자 한다. 2011년 장래인구추계 작성을 앞둔 상황에서 오류의 반복을 피하기 위해서는 사망률 예측모형에 대한 특성 및 적용가능성에 대한 충분한 검토가 이루어진 후 적절한 모형을 선택해야 할 것이다. 사망률 예측모형은 주로 사용되고 있는 LC(Lee와 Carter) 모형과 이의 개선모형들, 사망확률 확장모형인 HP8(Heligman과 Pollard 8 parameters) 모형 등 모두 5개의 모형을 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 5개의 모형별로 2030까지의 남녀별 예측평균수명을 작성하여 제시하였고, 이를 통계청에서 제공하는 예측평균수명과 비교하였다. 5개의 모형에 의해 작성된 2030년까지의 새로운 예측평균수명은 통계청의 결과보다 높게 나타나 실제평균수명의 변화를 상대적으로 잘 반영하는 것으로 나타났다.

누적손상이론을 이용한 풍력증속기의 가속수명시험법 개발 (Development of accelerated life test method for the wind turbine Gearbox using cumulative damage theory)

  • This study was performed to develop accelerated life test method of the wind-turbine gearbox using accumulated damage theory that used to model the fatigue of parts that receive variable load. The accumulated damage theory was introduced, and the estimation of life and calculation of accelerated life test time was illustrated. As the actual application example, accelerated life test method of the gearbox was described. Life distribution of the wind-turbine gearbox was supposed to follow Weibull distribution and life test time was calculated under the conditions of average life (MTBF) 140,600 hours and 99% reliability for one test sample According to the accumulated damage theory, because test time can shorten in case increase test load, test time could be reduced by 1.2 years when we put the load 1.2 times of rated load than 0.93 times of rated load that is equivalent load calculated by load spectrum of the wind turbine. This time, acceleration coefficient was 21.3. This accelerated test method was used to develop accelerated test method of gear reducer, gear and bearing as well as the industrial gearbox and it is considered to be applied comprehensively to mechanical parts the fatigue of which is happened by load or pressure etc.
