A rash guard, also known as rash vest or rashie, is functional sportswear that protects the wearer's skin from various dangers during outdoor sports activities. It is durable and comfortable since it is designed considering muscle movement. In modern society, more and more people enjoy leisure activities due to an increase in income level and increased leisure hours. Water leisure activities are increasingly enjoyed in the summer. As the way people think of leisure evolves, people are more inclined toward dynamic leisure sports rather than static facility tourism. Therefore, more research on rash guards is required. By identifying and analyzing the design preferences and purchase behaviors of young adults on rash guards, this study aims to provide basic data on the actual sportswear behaviors concerning those who are most active in water sports, people in their 20s and 30s. Furthermore, the study aims to contribute to a healthy exercise lifestyle for women who enjoy water sports and the growth of the water sportswear market. In the study, a survey was conducted using a questionnaire to investigate the wearing behaviors and purchase preferences as well as the wearing satisfaction on rash guards. For the study, 200 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and collected to be used as analysis data. The questionnaire consisted of 36 questions, 6 about demographic characteristics, 11 about purchase preferences, and 19 about wearing satisfaction. The collected data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 8.0. The study results can be used as basic data to investigate the design preferences and wearing behaviors of rash guards of women in their 20s and 30s. The results found numerous complaints on comfortableness and durability, which suggests more concern and improvements are necessary in those areas when designing patterns for rash guards.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Curfew due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic could influence health behaviors in people, especially in children, who can easily acquire unhealthy eating habits. This study aimed to investigate the effect of COVID-19 on weight, health behaviors including eating habits, physical activity, and sedentary behavior in children aged 6-15 years in Saudi Arabia. SUBJECTS/METHODS: We conducted a cross-sectional online survey that included 280 children aged 6-15 years in Saudi Arabia during the COVID-19 curfew. The survey included questions on sociodemographic characteristics, anthropometric measures, and health behaviors including eating habits, physical activity, and sedentary behavior. RESULTS: We observed a significant difference in the body mass index before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (P < 0.001). Children significantly tended to skip breakfast, along with a decreased intake of dairy products and fast food (P < 0.001). Moreover, children were less physically active and significantly tended to be involved in leisure screen-based activities, including watching TV and use of computer/games (P < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: This study provides evidence for the negative influences of the COVID-19 curfew on health behaviors, including eating habits, physical activity, and sedentary behavior in children in Saudi Arabia.

Based on these data collected from the diary study, six behavior characteristics of elderly were drawn. Results: The elderly were aware of their cognitive and physical limitations and showed fear. They are difficult to adapt in the state of the art. Their activities to acquire information were limited and were against changes, preferring to maintain the old ways. Conclusion: The result of this study, findings of behavioral characteristics of the elderly reveal that most of them spend their time on personal maintenance, socializing and leisure activities. Therefore, smart home services related to these characteristics should be considered as a top priority. Application: The results of the behavior characteristics can be utilized for planning out future smart home services and thereby contributing to increase in convenience and satisfaction of the elderly.
The purposes of this study were to segment knit wear consumers by their lifestyles and to examine knit wear purchase behavior among the lifestyle segments. The subjects of this study were female consumers who were residents in Seoul and metropolitan areas. The researchers distributed the questionnaires and the final sample of 357 was used for the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods used for the study were factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, and ${\chi}^2$-test. The results showed that the lifestyle factors had 6 dimensions: fashion, planned purchase, socially active, impulsive consumption, brand, and leisure/culture. These factors were categorized into four groups: brand oriented group, passive group, rational/social group, and fashion/impulsive consumption group. The results also showed that there were significant differences among the groups in regard to knit wear purchase criteria, knit wear image preferences, and other knit wear purchase behaviors. For example, brand oriented group considered design and brand name/fashion important as knit wear selection criteria, and the group preferred an elegance image and a modern image than did other groups.

Prevalence of childhood obesity is increasing significantly worldwide due to energy imbalance perhaps stemming from undesirable dietary behavior and physical activity level. The objective of the study was to examine the effects of physical activity level on nutritional status in elementary school students. The subjects were comprised of 287 elementary school students between 4th and 6th grades in Seoul, Korea. The level of physical activity was scored with a modified Godin leisure-time exercise questionnaire and was categorized as active, moderately active, and sedentary. Dietary intakes were obtained using a 24-hour food recall method. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to test for global significant differences of nutrient intakes by physical activity level. Boys were more active than girls. Daily intakes of energy in moderately active boys were significantly higher than in the sedentary group, but intakes of calcium and iron in moderately active boys were lower than active boys. For girls, physical activity level did not affect nutrient density at all. Intakes of calcium, vitamin C, and folate for both boys and girls were below 50% of recommended intake. Physical activity did not affect nutrient density and our participants were exposed to nutritional imbalance. Therefore, the results suggest that nutrition education regarding balanced diet and optimum physical activity is required for children's health and growth.

The purpose of this study was to classify male students by categories based on fashion image and to describe the resulting categories in terms of lifestyle, shopping behavior and demo-graphic variablls. Data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 791 male students in Seoul during the fall of 1991. Descriptive profiles of the four categories were developed by ideal and actual fashion image, lifestyle, and demographic characteristics. Young-Attractive and Fashionable-Harmonious types were preferred by older students while Decert-Practical and Unremarkable·Passive types were preferred by younger students. Fashionable images were more related to material-oriented, active-leisure, and sociable lifestyle factors. Fashionable and low price image factors were important in the market segmentation of male students.
The aim of this study is to obtain basic data to set the direction for construct and managing auto campsites. A survey was conducted with users of an auto campsite located in Jangsu Nuri Park in October 2018, and 32 copies of the questionnaire were used in the analysis. Auto camping is typically undertaken for a night or two with family or friends/colleagues. The adequacy of fees and location are important factors in choosing the campsite, so it is desirable to build one in the suburbs of the city and offer it at a reasonable price. Proximity to tourist spots and convenience in using facilities are also factors that must be considered. People are generally engaged in activities such as taking walks, relaxing, and looking around campsites, and they want to enjoy various other amenities like attractions, experiences, entertainment, and active leisure options, which is why there must be facilities to support these behaviors. The first-time visitors of the campsite showed high satisfaction with its individual facilities, while repeat visitors showed high overall satisfaction, which indicates that satisfaction with individual elements did not lead to overall satisfaction.

This study was conducted to investigate the level of physical activity and identify factors influencing physical activity of first and second year nursing students. The participants were 234 female first and second year nursing students at one nursing college located in U city. Data were collected from September 5 to 15 in 2016 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\breve{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The average level of physical activity measured by the Korean version of the Godin-Shephard Liesure-Time Exercise Questionnaire was 9.09(range 0-80). According to the physical activity group classified by leisure score index, there were 25 students(10.7%) in the active group, 31 students (13.2%) in the moderately active group, and 178 students(76.1%) in the insufficiently active group. Factors influencing the level of physical activity were intention to participate in physical activity and habit to physical activity, which together explained 21.2% of the total variance in physical activity. Therefore, this study suggests that it is necessary to develop and apply a physical activity program enhancing intention and habit to physical activity for first and second year nursing students.
