시멘트 혼화용 폴리머 합성과 그 응용에 관한 연구 -Poly[DMA-co-DAMA] 에멀젼을 이용한 시멘트 모르타르의 방수성- (The Study on Synthesis and Application of Polymer Dispersion for Cement Modifier -The Waterproffing Effeet of Cement Mortar by Poly[DMA-co-DAMA] Emulsion-)

  • 친유성기와 친수성기를 함유한 긴 탄화수소 화합물인 dodecylmetacrylate와 2-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate로부터 DMA-co-DAMA를 합성하고 물에 쉽게 유화시키기 위해 양이온화 하여 아세트화 아크릴 공중합체를 합성하였다. 합성된 공중합체와 아세트화 공중합체의 구조를 IR, NMR 등으로 확인하고 GPC로부터 분자량을 산출하였으며 C. H. N분석도 하였다. 아세트화 아크릴 공중합체는 물에 완전히 유화가 가능하였고 물에 대한 유화 안정성이 증진되었다. 위에서 합성한 아세트화 아크릴공중합체에 Sodium Silicate Sodium gluconate, Oleic acid, Triethanolamine을 브렌딩하여 제조된 혼화용 폴리머 분산제(PDCM-PDD)를 제조하였다. 이것을 가지고 용융시험한 결과 45배 희석시 강도비 1.02, 흡수비 0.36~0.57, 투수비는 수압 $100g/cm^2$에서 0.44, $3kg/cm^2$에서 0.55로 우수한 방수성을 확인하였다.

Thermal Conductivity and Adhesion Properties of Thermally Conductive Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives

  • The effects of particle content, size and shape on the thermal conductivity (k) and adhesion properties of thermally conductive, pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) were investigated. The matrix resins were thermally crosslinkable, 2-ethylhexyl acrylic polyol and ultraviolet (UV)-curable, random copolymer consisting of acrylic oligomer and various acrylates. We found that k increased with increasing diameter and particle aspect ratio, and was further enhanced due to the reduction of the interfacial thermal barrier when the coupling agent, which increases the adhesion between particles and the matrix resin, was used. On the other hand, adhesion properties such as peel strength and tack of the thermally crosslinkable resin decreased sharply with increasing particle content. However, for UV curable resin, increased particle addition inhibited the decrease in adhesion properties.

  • 시차주사 열분석기를 이용하여 poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)/poty(styrene-co-acrylic acid) (SAA) blonds에 대한 등온 결정화 속도를 blend의 조성, 사용한 SAA의 공중합조성 및 결정화 온도에 따라 조사하였다. 실험결과는 Avrami 방정식을 이용하여 분석하였다. Avrami지수는 결정화 온도에 관계없이 거의 모든 blend 시료에서 2의 값을 나타내었다. 결정화 속도는 blend시료의 SAA 함량 및 사용한 SAA 공중합체의 아크릴산함량이 증가함에 따라 급격히 느려졌다.

산화에스테르전분과 첨가제를 활용한 잉크젯용지의 품질개선 (Improvement of Ink Jet Printing Paper Quality with Oxidized Starch Ester and Additives)

  • The effect of esterified starch as surface sizing agent for inkjet printing paper has been evaluated and compared with oxidized starch. Also the influence of various additives including cationic poly-DADMAC, stearic acrylic copolymer, calcium chloride, and GCC was examined. Results showed that starch ester gave higher ink density than oxidized starch. Addition of poly-DADMAC improved water fastness. In general, low molecular weight poly-DADMAC performed better than high molecular weight one, and it was attributed to the fact that it gave more uniform film forming characteristics in surface sizing. Use of styrene acrylic acid copolymer increased hydrophobicity of the paper surface, but it did not increase the ink density. Use of GCC and calcium chloride had only marginal effect on printing quality.

(TBMA)Macromer를 그라프트시킨 음이온성 아크릴 공중합체의 합성과 물성 (The Synthesis and Characterization of (TBMA)Macromer Grafted Anionic Acrylic Copolymer)

  • 마크로머를 이용한 음이온성 아크릴 수지를 제조하기 위하여 음이온 리빙 중합법으로 TBMA를 합성하였고 이들을 다시 MMA와 공중합 시켜 아크릴계 그라프트 공중합체를 제조하였다. 그라프트 공중합체의 음이온 site 함량을 제어하기 위하여 (TBMA)마크로머의 MMA의 weight 비율을 7/93, 10/90, 15/85, 20/80, 30/70, 40/60, 50/50가지 변화시켜 합성하였다. (TBMA)마크로머의 음이온 리빙 중합과정에서는 반응온도를 $-78^{\circ}C$로 유지하면서 n-butyllithium-diphenylethylene계 개시제 시스템을 사용하였으며 정지반응 단계에서는 말단에 이중결합을 도입하기 위하여 capping material로 benzaldehyde를 사용한 후, methacryloyl chloride와 반응시켰으나, 넓은 분자량 분포(1.4~1.5)가 나타났다. 또한 그라프트 공중합체 내의 TBMA는 p-toluenesufonic acid인 촉매로 가수분해하였고 중화제로 triethylamine을 사용한 중화 반응은 아크릴 수지의 음이온성을 부여하였다. (TBMA)마크로머의 분자량과 분자량 분포에 대한 측정은 GPC를 이용하였으며 TBMA의 가수분해 반응과 더불어 아크릴 수지의 이온화 반응을 IR과 NMR을 이용하여 분석하였다. (TBMA)수분산성 및 분산 안정성의 관점에서 그라프트 공중합체내의 (TBMA)마크로머 분자량에 대한 가지(branch)의 길이와 TBMA함량을 관련지어 검토한 결과 분자량이 작은(TBMA) 마크로머에서는 적은 TBMA 함량으로도 안정된 수분산화 현상이 일어남을 알았다.

  • Core-shell hydrogel nanocomposite was fabricated by encapsulating a silica-gold nanoshell (SGNS) with poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylic acid) (PNIPAM-co-AAc) copolymer. The oleylamine-functionalized SONS was used as a nanotemplate for the shell-layer growth of hydrogel copolymer. APS (ammonium persulfate) was used as a polymerization initiator to produce a hydrogel-encapsulated SGNS (H-SGNS). The amounts of NIPAM (N-isopropylacrylamide) monomers were optimized to reproduce the hydrogel-encapsulated SGNS. The shell-layer thickness was increased with the increase of polymerization time and no further increase in the shell-layer thickness was clearly observed over 16 h. H-SGNS exhibited the systematic changes of particle size corresponding to the variation of pH and temperature, which was originated from hydrogen-bonding interaction between PNIPAM amide groups and water, as well as electrostatic forces attributed by the ionization of carboxylic groups in acrylic acid.

수분산성 아크릴 수지의 합성과 아크릴-실리콘 도료의 도막 물성 (Preparation and Physical Properties of Acrylic Silicone Resin Coatings Using Warer Dispersed Acrylic Resin)

  • To prepare the waterborne silicone acrylic resin coatings, acrylic resin was prepared by a radical polymerization. Glass transition temperature(Tg) of the acrylic copolymer was fixed at 30℃ and the contents of tertiary amine monomer(DMAEMA), were varied to be 5, 10, 15 and 20 wt%, hydroxyl monomer, and carboxyl monomer were fixed 10 wt%, and 4 wt% respectively. γ-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(GPTMS) containing epoxy group was used for curing agents. The eqivalent ratio of amine to epoxy was 1:1. The prepared coatings exhibited excellent adhesion to various substrates, and various physical properties of the coatings were satisfactory. The gloss retension and color difference were improved at low tertiary amine concentration. The coatings containing 10wt% tertiary amine concentration have especially good weather resistant properties.

  • To prepare the good-adherent and weather-resistant acrylic resin coatings, acrylic resin was prepared by a radical polymerization. Glass transition temperature(Tg) of the acrylic copolymer was fixed at 30℃ and the contents of tertiary amine monomer(DMAEMA) was varied to be 5, 10, 15, 20 wt% respectively. γ-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(GPTMS) containing epoxy group was used for curing agents and di-n-butyltindilaurate(DBTDL) was used for drying accelerator.
