The purpose of this study is to suggest the implications of social welfare workers' understanding of emotional labor and prevention of psychological exhaustion. In order to achieve this goal, I analyzed the effects of the levels of surface acting and deep acting, which are components of emotional labor in social welfare workers in social welfare center, on emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of sense of personal accomplishment which are components of psychological exhaustion. And I empirically analyzed how emotional labor affects psychological exhaustion, when superior support and fellow support as components of social support play a role as moderating variables. Empirical results show that emotional labor affects psychological exhaustion and social support plays a moderating role. Based on these results, theoretical and policy implications and future research directions are presented.

Recently, Korean economy is boosted by the active introduction of many venture businesses full of entrepreneurship. It has been widely accepted implicitly that success of the venture business originates from unique style of knowledge management. This assumption looks natural when we consider the fact that success of the venture business heavily depends on differentiated intelligent asset or knowledge. However, such implicit belief has never been tested empirically. To fill the research void like this, this paper proposes an empirical derivation of key success factors from the venture businesses listed in KOSDAQ. To add rigor to our results, we performed regression analysis by using the derived key success factors as independent variables, and introducing organization efficiency, job satisfaction, and accomplishment motivation as dependent variables. Regression results showed that our approach is justified from the statistical perspective.

The concept of empathy was examined In the professional caregiving relationship and its application was extended to the context of informal caregiving. Using the Lazarus and Folkman model, the influence of empathy on the caregiver's experience in the caregiving relationship was illustrated. The effects of the caregiver's empathy on his/her own caregiving outcomes were investigated by examining the relationship between empathy and burnout experience and life satisfaction. Empathy increased emotional exhaustion while increased personal accomplishment and personalization, indicating conflicting relationship between empathy and burnout. This conflict relationship between empathy and burnout can be explained by suggesting the distinct roles of two dimensions of empathy emotional and cognitive. The needs for more research to support the critical roles of empathy in informal caregiving context and to examine the definite roles of two dimensions of empathy were suggested.

As concerns on the effects of soil contamination on human health have grown, more efforts have been made to quantify the effects. One of such efforts is the development of risk assessment methodology. The fundamental objectives of this approach is to investigate the alternative options that reduce the risk of hazardous chemicals results from environmental pollution, which will eventually lead to an accomplishment of removement of identified toxicants in polluted environment. The U.S. EPA Risk Assessment guidance for the superfund (RAGS) provides a methods for assessing the health risk of contaminated soils and determining the preliminary remediation goals (PRGs). Using this approach, we assessed the health risk and preliminary remediation goals of petroleum contaminated site in Kyounggi province.

Since 100PPM Qualify Certification System has been established by the Industrial Advancement Administration in 1995, 1000PPM Quality Innovation Movement has contributed much to the enhancement of quality competitiveness of Korea's parts industry. And in 2000, raised to a higher level, Single PPM Quality Certification System has been established by the Small and Medium Business Administration. Single PPM Qualify Innovation Movement seeks to reduce the number of defects to below 10 out of one million industrial items produced. Ultimately, Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement aims at achieving perfection, by enabling a zero defect rate in industrial production through the participation of all members of an organization. So this study aims to show the tangible and intangible effects of Single PPM Quality Certification System. and to suggest a methodology to improve current problems of Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement.

The purpose of this study is to illuminate the influence happened by the process of acquirement of professional cooking skills related to satisfaction with duty of hotel cooks according to the development and expansion of the food service industry. First, interaction with colleagues, working environment, accomplishment of duty, satisfaction of duty etc. have a big effect on improvement of cooking skills, that is, acquirement and accumulation of cooking skill. Therefore, it's confirmed that improvement of skill can be promoted if we focus on this kind of factors and meet more positively. Second, field education training should be operated professionally with systematic education training. Third, duty rotation has an effect on skill advancement. It can be interpreted that oppressive feelings caused by ability, skill, knowledge, human relations etc. which is required in new business related to frequent change of the business in one's charge can have an effect on duty satisfaction. It's considered that comprehensive and in-depth study should be accomplished in future concerning duty rotation, field training.

Under this study, the characteristics of concrete intensity condition following the curing method under the extremely low temperature environment have been contemplated, and as a result, in the event of insulation + heat cable curing, the intensity and accumulated temperature accomplishment period is required for two times of requiring initial frost damage prevention than the case of heating + heat insulation curing method due to the insufficient calories supplied in general.

Most existing research into the metacognitive approach in mathematics learning has been concentrated mainly in the study of phenomena of metacognitive (including the affective) behaviour in the context of mathematical problem solving or more broadly mathematical content-elated learning. However, this study originally constructs the concept of "macroscopic metacognition" which could be differentiated with general metacognition, and draws out macroscopic-metacognitive factors among the elementary and middle school students through individual interview. Questionnaire research is executed to find out how the macroscopic metacognition is included into the students' mathematics learning and the relationship between their mathematics learning accomplishment and macroscopic metacognition. Thus, a considerable degree of the positive relationship between these two variables was found out.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the lexical-semantic structure of morphologically derived passive verbs in Korean based on Pustejovsky (1995)'s Generative Lexicon Theory (GL) and to explain the change of the root verb's lexical-semantic structure by means of passivization. Passivization in this paper is defined as the unaccusaztivization. In Argument Structure of derived passive verbs, the agent argument is deleted and the theme argument is realized as a syntactic subject. As for Event Structure, derived passives express left-headed event (achievement), whereas their roots denote right-headed event (accomplishment). In Qualia Structure, passive verbs and root ones have the same Fomal Role, but in Agentive Role of passive verbs, an act weakens to a process. Both Formal and Agentive Roles have the same theme argument.

For successful accomplishment of six sigma innovation, one of the most important factor is performance evaluation and proper compensation. Six sigma project teams are well motivated to perform the projects only when their activities are properly evaluated and reasonable compensations are secured. In this paper, a systematic evaluation system of financial effect of six sigma projects is presented for order-based aerospace industry.
