Perspective Patterns of Male Nurse Students on Practice Experience in the Newborn Baby Room (신생아실 실습경험에 대한 남자 간호학생의 인식유형)

  • Purpose: This study is to use perspective patterns of male nurse students in new born room practice experience as a fundamental data which can be helpful to use theories with technique in the science of nursing for children. Method: The study was using the Q-methodology. Q-methodology was used 33 Q-samples selected, This study was analyzed by personal interviews from July to Nov 2005. 20 male students of nursing Dept. in J college were selected as p-samples based on 33 Q-samples. Result: The first type is the positive receivers ; they accept environmental changes positively in practice of new born baby room. The second is the life respecter ; they learn the mysteries and importance of life. The third type is the sexual identity founder ; they set up identify the sexual roles. Conclusion: As stated above, their newborn baby room practicing experience can be divided into 3 types. we suggest as follows: 1. qualitative research about practice experience of male nurse students should be needed. 2. newborn baby room practice of male nurse students teaching program should be developed.

  • Over recent years, much research attention has been devoted to a two-factor authentication mechanism which integrates both tokenized pseudorandom numbers with user specific biometric features for biometric verification, known as Biohash. The main advantage of Biohash over sole biometrics is that Biohash is able to achieve a zero equal error rate and provide a clean separation of the genuine and imposter populations, thereby allowing elimination of false accept rates without imperiling the false reject rates. Nonetheless, when the token of a user is compromised, the recognition performance of a biometric system drops drastically. As such, a few solutions have been proposed to improve the degraded performance but such improvements appear to be insignificant. In this paper, we investigate and pinpoint the basis of such deterioration. Subsequently, we propose a two-level approach by utilizing strong inner products and fuzzy logic weighting strategies accordingly to increase the original performance of Biohash under this scenario.

  • This study identifies the present status of multicultural broadcasting programs as multicultural phenomenon is spreading throughout Korean society and it discusses how a local broadcasting has to reflect locality and multicultural characteristic. A notion on the local of multimedia and multichannel time is expanding as a concept of emotional and psychological territory over geographical space. Therefore the locality should reflect attachment and interests of its members as well as disseminating multicultural reality. A locality for broadcasting should accept differences, reflect a cultural diversity, and satisfy its dynamics. The purpose of this study is to inquire whether a local broadcasting is performing its function as a local press and a place forpublic opinions by examining how they reflect reality of local, where an inflow of Immigrants and their cultures are altering the place as a multicultural society, and what Programs they propose. This study also presents media education for immigrants, revitalization of community, multicultural education about local citizens, and practical use of multicultural contents and small output radio as a source of supply for local broadcasting program in order to harmonize production of multlcultural media contents In local society.

Estimating Permissible Intake Level for Endosulfan Using Benchmark Dose based on Reproductive Tonicity (생식독성과 Benchmark Dose를 활용한 Endosulfan의 노출허용수준 산출)

  • A benchmark dose (BMD) approach has been evaluated us a replacement for the traditional NOAEL methodology currently being wed to assess the noncancer effects of toxicants. The endocrine disrupt-ing effect of endosulfan which showed decrement of sperm count and testicular testosterone level in animals, was currently reported. The amount of endosulfan used as pesticide in the country has been continuously increased. The aim of this study was to suggest the permissible intake level (PIL), corresponding to Accept-able Daily Intake (ADI), based on endocrine disrupting effect wing BMD. Various animal data were collected by consideration of critical effect showing endocrine disruption and an animal data for reproductive toxicity was selected. The Power model from BMD software for induction of $BMD_10$ having meaning which is the dose at the 95% lower confidence limit on a 10% response was used due to that the form of selected dose-response animal data was continuous data. The $BMD_10$ was estimated to be 0.393 mg/kg/day based on reproductive toxicity showing decrement of sperm count. The permissible intake level (PIL) was calculated by dividing the $BMD_10$ by the uncertainty factors of 100 with consideration of from animal to human and human variability. The PIL as 0.004 mg/kg/day was compared with traditional ADI as 0.006 mg/kg/day based on the incidence of marked progressive glomerulonephrosis and blood vessel aneurysm in males.

  • Nowadays, developed camera, camcorder, CCTV and copier system accept a wide angle and a telephoto lens, and have an excellent capacity. Also, it is small as using aspheric surface. In this paper, after we evaluate and analyze two-group zoom lens system and three-group zoom lens system for camera, we refer to it, and design three-group zoom lens system for camera. Therefore, when we design a zoom lens system for camera, we use a symmetrical system. As using an aspheric surface, we can try to a miniaturization and an efficient improvement. We use optical valuable measure methods, a ray intercept plot, MTF and Seidel coefficient. So, we can confirm to have a similar level to compare with reference model.

  • The epidermal color is one of factors the space for ages. Instead of the epidermal color expression, it made with material and decoration under structure for make shade of meaning before have the new media. But now a days, the epidermal color of the fashion store is getting free owe to the development of color harmony, has a great notion that gets out of the subordinate from color, and it is a emphasized factor with expression and self-control. The epidermal color of the fashion store makes an effort to accept the development and changing of new media. It should show that there role and function is changing constantly according to a new technology, and it gave a motivation for reanalysis about existence and expression of the epidermal color. The purpose of this research is that look around the feature of the epidermal color system, elements, and principle. Then contemporary fashion store is expressive characteristics of epidermal color. Using epidermal color is not common, we can find lots of the case with surface color, layer color, interface color, though. The paper reflects on the meaning and concept of fashion store which enables the application of expressive characteristics on space through advanced technology. Meanwhile, the features of epidermal color such as immateriality of process and communication can be inferred from case analysis.

  • The certification scheme for best company has been implementing in order to stimulate the investment of private consulting company to reduce GHG emission. This study was conducted to set up the certification scheme, to suggest process, criterion, institute, committee which are necessary for the evaluation of certificate.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze and test the effect of financial ratios and macroeconomics on Islamic stock returns listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) other than to assess whether investment risk can be an intervening variable in this study. The type of research is explanatory in nature with a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used is based on secondary sources with a sample group of 29 companies listed on JII for a 5-year period ending 31 December 2018. The data obtained were analyzed by using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with AMOS (Analysis Moment of Structural) 21 program. The results of the study show that only financial ratios affect sharia stock returns and investment risk, while the mediation test found that investment risk does not act as a mediating variable between financial ratios and macroeconomics and Islamic stock return. These findings indicate that the role of the company's financial health is very important. Besides affecting the rate of return obtained, the company's financial health can also reflect the level of risk that investors will accept in the future. By improving financial performance properly, a company will have a positive impact on various interested parties and minimize the level of investor losses.

  • In a training simulator for power plant, operator's action in the MCR(Main Control Room) are given to plant process and computer system model as an inputs, and the same response as in real power plant is provided in real time. Inter-process communication and synchronization are especially important among various inputs. In the plant simulator, to simulate the digital control system such as FOXBORO SPEC-200 Micro control system, modification and adaptation of control card(CCC) and its continuous display station(CDS) is necessary. This paper describes the modeling and simulation of FOXBORO SPEC-200 Micro control system applied to Younggwang nuclear power plant unit #3 & 4, and its integration process to the full-scope replica type training simulator. In a simulator, display station like CDS of FOXBORO SPEC-200 Micro control system is classified as ITI(Intelligent Type Instrument), which has a micro processor inside to process information and the corresponding alphanumeric display, and the stimulation of ITI limits the important functions in a training simulator such as backtrack, replay, freeze and IC reset. Therefore, to achieve the better performance of the simulator, modification of CDS and special firmware is developed to simulate the FOXBORO SPEC-200 Micro control system. Each control function inside control card is modeled and simulated in generic approach to accept the plant data and control parameter conveniently, and debugging algorithms are applied for massive coding developed in short period.
