Recently there are so many media contents created and used by variety routes. Therefore, it is essential to make a new platform which is used for distributing media contents include IPTV. With open IPTV service, developing the new platform became even more important. Because open IPTV makes it possible for consumers to choose contents regardless of contents of the providers. The new platform has to accept current variety service structure. MPEG-21 multimedia framework was developed to satisfy these needs. It presented the distribution framework of the contents but didn't restrict the particular solutions for protecting the rights. In this paper, we present authoring and consuming system for package contents based on MPEG-21 Multimedia Framework for distributing media resources and managing the license of multimedia contents

In this paper we study the delivery policy of internet bookstores and recommend the improved policy to increase customer satisfaction and sales revenue. We classify customers into two, the price-sensitive and the delivery time-sensitive, and develop a new shipping method, the unhurried shipping, for the price-sensitive who are reluctant to pay shipping fee for the small purchase but willing to wait extra time for the ordered goods. The customers could get discount on shipping fee by the unhurried shipping but have to accept the longer delivery lead-time. We investigate the possible ways to reduce costs with the prolonged delivery time and show that some costs regarding shipmentand inventory could be saved in order to make up for additional shipping costs for the price-sensitive.

Discussions on this paper are related to the effects of organic materials to treeing phenomena of low density polyethylene. As additives, 11 kinds of organic compounds are selected by considering the respective features such as melting point, boiling point, electron affinity as well as molecular structure, and then the specimens of low density polyethylene are prepared by blending with 10wt% of the selected additives. For the comparison of effectiveness of treeing resistance and interpretation of the mechanism of compounds as treeing retardants, several investigations such as the tree acceleration test, the prestressed test and the measurement of internally occurred partial discharge are carried out. As the results, meta-Cresol is regard as the most effective retardant among those, and it is supposed that this aromatic compound to be comprised of radical having large electron affinity has strong capability to accept energetic electron to prevent or delay the growth of discharge streamer. Furthermore, by activating partial discharge at the wall of tree pit through the function of trapped electron at this material, the gas pressure in the pit is increased up to prevent the growth of streamer.

입출력버퍼형 스위치를 위한 간단한 셀 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제시한다. 스위치는 고속동작 및 성능 향상을 위해 이중 스위칭 플랜을 갖고 있다. 제안한 알고리즘은 각각의 스위칭 플랜에서 독립적으로 수행되며 전송요청 (request), 전송허가(grant). 전송확정 (accept)의 3 단계 동작으로 이루어져 있다. 또한 각 3 단계동작을 한 셀시간에 한 번씩만 수행하여 단위 셀시간이 작은 고속 스위칭에 적합하다. 모의실험 결과 제안한 알고리즘의 성능이 Bernoulli 트래픽 입력에 대해 출력버퍼형 스위치의 성능과 거의 동일하였다.

A Study on TOID system which can measure a degree of diagnosis oil Tr. TOID system uses porous ceramic sensor and accept a DC 2000V, this method is to accumulate carbon element generated from the both electrodes from the ingredients the sensor when being vaporized the oil. The main substance of our research were comparison between vaporizing detection result of the oil, gas analysis, withstand voltage, test of acid value, and to define a new technology of measurement.

The paper presents neural network control techniques for load frequency control of two area power system. Using learning algorithm of error back propagation after learning accept input on the optimal control $e_{i}$, $\dot{e}_{i}$, and $u_{i}$ frequency characteristic and tie-line load flow characteristic investigated dynamic. From result simulation, frequency deviation and tie-line load flow deviation have reduction remarkable.

There are two approaches for evaluating two or more investment projects. One is a total investment approach and the other is an incremental investment approach. We present that ranking projects by the latter is not sufficient for an investor to accept the next best alternative. We prove that ranking projects by the former is superior to that by the latter. We also prove that the ranks obtained by the criteria like ORR and B/C ratio are consistent to the ranks by DCF criteria. However the result is different when IRR is adapted.

This paper is concerned with the set-up of the CE(Concurrent Engineering) model for the shortening of new product development. Recently, the situation of the new product development has been drastically changed. Customers require cheaper, better, stronger products in shorter product cycle time. To cope with this requirements from customers, engineers must accept new paradigm based on the CE and some special tools. This paper shows a tool, CE which is a good for shortening of new product development. So, CE was applied broadly in whole process of new product development and we could make it very successfully in quality, function, cost and developing time.

Psycho-social-spiritual care should be included with comprehensive nursing care of cancer patient. Because of human being have four dimensions as physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimension and they do interactional relationship with themselves, others and God. So caregivers of cancer patient have to recognize what they have psycho-social-spiritual needs and have to consider how caregivers can combine these in comprehensive nursing care. Cancer patient will be experienced shock, feeling of crisis and fear of death and will be showed denial, anger, bargaining, depression, accept or give-up, hope, spiritual distress and spiritual needs to which help them to do some rituals or interactions according their religion. Loving attitude is essential of cancer patient care especially of psycho-social-spiritual care. Dr. Kim and her some colleques investigated about this and find out 10 concepts(Caring Behaviors) by Graunded Theory Methodology. They are Noticing, Participating, Sharing, Active Listening, Complimenting, Companioning, Comforting, Hoping, Forgiving, Accepting.

To support Internet traffic efficiently over ATM \networks, Guaranteed Frame Rate(GFR) has been proposed in tile ATM Forum to ensure minimum rate guarantees to VCs. In this paper, we proposed fuzzy logic based buffer management algorithm that provides MCR guarantee and fair sharing to GFR VCs. A key feature of proposed algorithm is its ability to accept or drop a new incoming packet dynamically based on buffer condition and load rate of VCs. This is achieved by using fuzzy logic controller for the production of a drop factor. Simulation result shows that proposed scheme significantly has improved fairness and TCP throughput compared with previous schemes.
